Room was clean, staff was very friendly

TV had very limited channels. There was no guide (on) the tv, so you had to change one channel at a time. Card provided with a channel list, however there was only about 12 channels on it. It seemed like the hotel was on a very limited TV plan. Hair dryer in zapped out, maintenance had to replace it. The shower was awful. About 20% came out of the shower head, the rest of the water was filling the tub. Did not work properly. Also, the drain wasn't working much at all. Took about an 30 minutes for the tub to drain after a shower. There is no way housekeeping didn't notice this when they cleaned the room/tub after each guest. I would not recommend eating breakfast there. Extremely over cooked. Was not good at all. For $250+ a night, go elsewhere.

Overall the facilities were well maintained. The room was immaculate. The bed/pillows were comfortable.

We were visiting family and Toms River and needed a place to stay, so this was fine. It was clean with parking and breakfasts so provide what we needed for stay.

Tom's river is close to Jersey Shore so most of guests were family using it as a base to go to beach, which was fine, but it meant the facilities were really angled towards families with small children- most of focus on the pool! I tried out the gym and it was largely non-functional. The aerobic equipment was generally broken with parts seemingly missing. The management seems to have given up on it. It was annoying that they would list this as an amenity, but not maintain it.

The room was fine, average, and mostly clean. I didn't find the bed too comfortable and it squeaked a lot when I moved around. The thermostat in our room didn't work, so it was over-cooled.

For me the issue was price. I think we paid $8/900 to be in kind of a crummy section of New Jersey. A lot of sports camps are nearby, which is what we were doing, and there really isn't any other option. But still, the price I paid suggested I stayed at a 4 star hotel, and I didn't. Not even close. The restaurant in the hotel had very restrictive hours of operation, looked like a dump, but strangely had decent food that exceeded my expectations. Still, this is a $150-250 a night hotel, at best, not what I paid.

The front desk person was unavailable when we were trying to check in for quite a while and never apologized for the wait. Then our toilet clogged and we were told only one person was on staff and they could only bring us a plunger which didn’t help. Not the best experience.

Don't waste your money. Although the location is convenient, it is on a major road and the noise of the road as well as the HVAC system is only ok if you sleep like the dead. I wore ear plugs and it was still too much. It was clean for a worn out hotel that needed to be upgraded years ago. The bed was soft-worn out. I wouldn't sit on the chair. The staff at check in and out was nice. Sorry but that is the only positive thing I can say. There were two elevators and one was out. I didn't take photos because I don't write reviews typically.

Bed was uncomfortable. Very noisy late in the night and early morning from inside and outside from the parking lot. I requested room clean up after we received the notice because we had our do not disturb sign out they didn’t do it. When we were leaving for the day I told the front desk and she said she would tell them. As I walked away I heard her tell the workers standing at the desk (or on the phone) we wanted clean up.

The location was perfect for us. It was easy to get to and clean.

They do not have complementary breakfast. They advertise having a restaurant but it is only open on Friday and Saturday and that wasn’t noted.

We didn't have time to eat breakfast at the property due to a time constraint.

Wish there was complimentary breakfast or at least coffee available all day. The showers can be pretty slippery. And some rooms the toilets have barely any water pressure.

No free breakfast- for the price paid for the rooms there should at least be continental breakfast complimentary. Front desk staff checked us in for one room, seemed annoyed that we asked him for our other room even though we booked two. One was a “deluxe” double queen the other standard. No difference in the rooms but they charged more for one- not cheap either. Took over an hour to get extra blankets we asked for.

The road noise of rt 37 can be loud. Had to move rooms.

We loved staying here. We previously stayed last year for a tournament and enjoyed it. The staff is so nice all over. The rooms and hotel itself is clean. We felt safe all around here. My daughter loved the pool with her friends.

I was travelling from 7 hours away and the front desk was wonderful and accommodated our request for an early check-in. The lobby and the rooms were beautiful and spotless! The bed was the most comfortable I’ve experienced at any hotel, and I’ve stayed at many. Price was extremely fair! Highly recommend!!

They gave me a horrible room, the bed was old and in bad condition, the pillows were very uncomfortable and hard, and the staff were rude, trying to take my deposit 5 times. Obviously, I reported it to my bank.

that's not a weak point but rather a wish, I wish if the reservation included a breakfast like the majority of the hotels, this hotel offered only tea and coffee!

Due to circumstances, we were very well past our initial arrival time. The night security staff and front desk, Liz, were great and offered late check out the next day. Ginger in the AM was excellent also and check out was a breeze. The parking lot was well lit and all felt safe and secure.

The room was clean, toiletries were provided. It would have been nice to have a mini toothpaste available. The blackout curtains also had a small, uncloseable gap in them to let the morning light through.

Loved this place. Front desk staff was super friendly and extremely accommodating, Place was immaculate and bed was sooooo comfortable. Our omelets at The Palms Restaurant were delicious. Our server Karen was excellent and so sweet.

The hotel itself was decent, clean room, friendly staff.

Winter time its cold in Lobby and the indoor pool area was super cold, door on side was even frozen. The water in pool was warm so you could still swim but inside the area needs some kind of insulation. When you got in the elevator, it was cold too.

Staff members are very kind and helpful, room is clean, there is a restaurant downstairs which is a lifesaver during a snow storm.
