Quite simply the most beautiful hotel I have ever been. Located in an old city palace, this is an oasis in the middle of Jodhpur. The interior is classy and of highest quality; everything is breathing quiet luxury. If you want the best place in town, look no further : the RAAS is outstanding.

Location. It’s located in old town. Access to hotel is through narrow and dirty lanes. In addition there is a mosque next to the hotel which uses loudspeakers for call to prayers etc

Everything! Beautiful buildings and gardens, exceptional service and delicious food.

Véritable havre de paix au beau milieu de l'effervescence de Jodhpur, à deux pas des principaux spots d'intérêts : le fort de Jodhpur, Jaswant Thada, la Blue City, Ghanta Ghar, les bazars... et assez proche également des jardins de Mandore en tuk tuk. Ancien haveli très joliment restauré, avec beaucoup de goût et de raffinement notamment avec de savants mélanges entre la pierre (dont la couleur est sublime), le bleu (par touches discrètes) et le blanc (voilage, bed, nappes des tables...). Cela confère un sentiment de pureté au lieu. La vue bien évidemment sur le fort est incomparable et à couper le souffle. D'où que vous soyez dans l'hôtel vous le verrez. La piscine est magnifique et impeccable, l'espace des beds est très agréable. De plus, l'équipe fait toujours en sorte de vous amener des rafraîchissements quand vous êtes à la piscine (boissons, coupelle de fruits....). C'est vraiment très appréciable au vue des fortes chaleurs de Jodhpur. Les jardins sont aussi très bien entretenus et les communs sont très plaisants. La chambre était magnifique et très spacieuse, on remercie d'ailleurs l'équipe pour le surclassement. Le petit déjeuner comme le dîner sont très bons, très copieux avec du personnel qui a à coeur de vous faire découvrir la gastronomie indienne. Un grand merci à Rajveer qui nous a accompagné dans l'organisation de tous nos déplacements et qui s'est montré très attentif dès notre arrivée. Un grand merci aussi à Abid qui nous a conduit à bord de son superbe tuk tuk bleu et qui a fait beaucoup d'efforts pour nous donner pleins d'informations sur la vie locale en anglais.

Rien, ce fut un superbe séjour. A noter tout de même : notre taxi (avec lequel nous venions d'Udaipur) nous a laissé au niveau de Ghanta Gar en nous disant qu'il ne pouvait pas aller plus loin... nous avons donc dû nous y rendre par nos propres moyens (on n'avait pas envie de repayer un tuk tuk donc on y est allée à pied), mais sachez qu'il faut insister car en fait les taxis peuvent passer (bien que les ruelles soient étroites).

It’s an exotic location. I’ve been to a Jodhpur multiple times . The town hasn’t totally recovered after COVID Many of the stores I loved are gone or were closed It’s still an atmospheric place that brings me back The hotel staff is lovely I had issues with my booking which I addressed with the manager

Service speed in the restaurant. In the afternoon, the restaurant should offer small dishes that can be served quicky. There could also be more gluten-free options.

Strangely enough out of 15 properties we stayed on our trip to India, the comfort of their beds really stood out and we had the best nights sleep! The property itself is beautiful, especially in the evening when the fort is lit up. Beautiful property!

There is very little not to like of RAAS Jodhpur. both inside and outside the room. We stayed in 2 room type across 2 nights - and even in this smaller room type, it was exceptionally well designed, beautifully light up and appointed with so many of design cue reflected from the overall hotel and the grander heritage room that we stayed at in the first night. the sliding stone screen in this room is a marvel of both esthetics and engineering. The wonder of the hotel starts from our interaction with their staff on booking.com - they are both helpful and responsive for us. We arrive at the hotel and all the front desk staff needs ZERO explaining of our booking and slightly complicated arrangement. We were gently ushered thru the hotel and the peak hour check in traffic, just the right amount of hotel tour and get thru the paper work required pleasantly. The room change also executed with no explaination on our part required and it was super kind that they put my little snack that need refrigeration back in the fridge, laundry send to our new room, they give us the new key when we return from our activity of the day. all effortless. the restaurant was delicious and service effortless. The staff just seamlessly know just the right things of what we need / want just like if you are home at your own palace. and all of these perfection are while they are having a full house and VIP visiting the hotel and the chaos ensures. This is prob my best personal warm transparent low key lux experience that I have experienced and the only place that came close is Aman.

there are a few flights of stairs to climb for my particular set of rooms, let the hotel know if that's a barrier for you. The photos of the hotel on their website and the booking sites does not do the hotel or their room justice.

Amazing, gorgeous property. Unique. Fabulous design aesthetic. Standout serivce - and a special shoutout to the wonderful Prahlad in the restuarant who went out of the way to make us feel extra special. The property is so well-located with stunning views of the fort - which is the main highlight of Jodhpur. Our room was fabulous. The bed was very comfortable. Our balcony had an incredible view. The food was really good. Again the service was a real standout. In fact, we cacelled our last day of tentative sightseeing plans so we could stay back and enjoy the property. I don't think I will want to stay anywhere else in Jodhpur.

The shower in our room was great, but the water didn't drain fully and therefore some some wetness that should not have been there accumulated. Also the plug point near my bedside seemed to have a loose connection. But frankly, these were all very minor - the room was amazing overall. Due to the mosque nearby and the city with loud music it can get a bit noisy on occasion. But it was for short periods and didn't bother me.

The heritage suites are a class above. Aesthetics, amenities, bedding quality. Attention to detail. Great breakfast and extremely attentive staff.

A young intern working there gave us incorrect information about a couple of things that stitched us up. But honestly, can’t fault this very quietly classy RAAS service.

The location is fantastic with the view of the Mehrangarh Fort.

The new year event could have been better. The local singers and dancers were not good and the whole vibe was not upto mark.

The quality of the room - interiors, bathroom fittings, lamp shades very LOW. The red stone used on the some walls was FADED at places. It was like a three star place. I will never stay here again. The first room we got had sewage smell because it was too close to the village.. Ridiculous. And the noise of the evening prayers and the music following the prayers was deafening.

I didn't like anything - not even the food.

The location was exceptional and the view from our room was breathtaking with the fort in the background. The amenities were perfect, and breakfast was made to order. The staff take pride in their work and made us feel very welcome. We would stay here again.

Das Personal im Restaurant war en wenig enttäuscht, wenn man beim Abendessen im Restaurant sich lediglich für einen Hauptgang entschied und bei der Getränkeauswahl mit Bier und Soft Drink zufrieden war. Beim Checkout wurde uns eine Checkliste zur Bewertung vorgelegt, die wir aufgrund der zur Verfügung stehenden Zeit nicht beantwortet haben.

Perfect location and stunning view. You cannot miss it, it's there from all over the hotel.

Access is a bit constricted due to small lanes. And there's a mosque next door which does prayer 5 times a day including early morning. However, the hotel staff told us about it upfront and also provided ear plugs on arrival. So, not bad but just something to consider.

We booked a Luxury room with fort view and got a garden view with partial fort view from a roof terrace - it wasn’t as advertised and felt short changed

This is one of the most beautiful hotels in the world in a stunning location. The staff is lovely. They made a special anniversary surprise for my husband and I. So thoughtful. The spa is exceptional - not to be missed. The cocktail bar and restaurant perfection. And the architectural details are gorgeous. Sliding stone blinds- wow! Beautiful at every turn.

What we did not like is the it’s not 100% safe for walking on stairs. There are no handrails anywhere and the wood platform by the pool is finished with polyurethane making it dangerously slippery. Our traveling companion slipped and broke his wrist.

Amazing view of the fort, polite and helpful staff, extremely comfortable beds and pillows. Soft towels in the bathroom. Great location in the Old City and next to the step well, after check out I hung out in the cafe which overlooks the step well and can see local boys diving in.

Unfortunately two of the rooms where we stayed (301-302) had an issue with humidity and they smelled a bit inside. Just a detail , but unfortunate.

One of the best stays that I’ve ever had. The property is beautifully designed - like a hidden cache of green, fertile ground in a desert. The staff demonstrated high attentiveness without the overwrought, hammy nonsense that you receive throughout India. Instead, the staff seemed kind and dignified - an attitude commensurate with the beauty of the facility. The hotel advised us, at checkin, that we should not tip anyone until checkout - at which time, the hotel would share our tip across its staff. The room was super comfortable with a large, well-appointed bathroom. We enjoyed the pool (where the staff would occasionally serve complimentary snacks (eg roasted corn-on-the-cob, sweet lassi, etc…). We really enjoyed the hotel restaurant more than other food venues in the city. No complaints! Really great place!

The view ! Seeing the fort especially lighted in the evening during the week end is definitely worth it. All the hotel is also great, comfortable, good food, and the staff is very welcoming. We highly recommend.
