Lille Restrup Hovedgaard

Our stay was fabulous! Breakfast was delicious, generous, and beautifully presented. The host were kind and helpful, and presented us with a three course dinner that was memorable and very tasty. I can see that this would be a very beautiful and professional wedding reception venue- the grounds were stunning. So much history, and the hosts were doing a great job in renovations. We will definitely come back every year. Quiet, peaceful grounds and historical bedrooms in the manor house. We spent our time wandering in the well kept forest, along the stream, and through the quaint village (good local pizzeria, too).

We stayed here for a stop over when travelling from Skagen to Billund. The lady looked after us really well and we had a good rest. Lovely grounds - peaceful and quiet. The meals were very pleasant.

Dejligt ophold. Meget opmærksomme værter. Kan klart anbefales og vi vender tilbage i foråret.

Fantastisk sted - alt var helt magisk!!

For et fantastisk sted i utrolige omgivelser! Vertskapet var også upåklagelig og maten fantastisk. Vi kommer gjerne igjen!

Ligger dejligt stille og fredeligt tæt på å Morgenmad var fint men de sørgede ikke for at der blev fyldt op af juice og vand Svært lige at finde receptionen, men alt virker ellers okay

Fantastisk sted på den danske landsbygda. Vakkert og historisk overnattingssted med sjarm og sjel. Veldig hyggelig vertskap og kjempegod frokost. Fine naturomgivelser å rusle rundt i i området.

Det var en positiv overraskelse. Etter å ha ankommet pr grusvei, åpnet det seg et slott for oss. Vi fikk overnatte i et museum. Skulle tro de visste at de fikk besøk av en leder av et historielag. Spaserte i hvitveisskog og langs fiskeelv. Nøt ettermiddagen på en steintrapp med duft av skog og fuglekvitter. Sov godt i nydelig seng. Herlig frokost og flott vertskap. Vi følte oss hensatt til tidligere tider. Vannet var ikke varmt da vi ankom, et minus.

Vi havde bare en enkelt overnatning, men fin service og et hyggeligt værelse/lejlighed.

Hvis du er træt av kønsløse hotelkæder kan jeg kun anbefale Lille Restrup Hovedgaard som ligger midt i en skøn natur. Service og maden er virkelig god, og du føler dig velkommen og godt tilpas. Stedet vil muligvis ikke tiltale alle, men jeg kommer tilbage. Stedet emmer af historie og originalitet - den ægte vare. Jeg kan kun anbefale Lille Restrup Hovedgaard.

Dejligt ophold med god mad

Room stayed in had an overwhelming smell of what we felt was wood treatment. We slept with windows open to provide ventilation, as we were concerned for our health. We reported the problem to management on leaving, however in our opinion they didn't seem sufficiently concerned.

Encantadora

This 19th Century manor house is really beautiful - three quarters of a mile off the main road in it's own wooded grounds - extremely tidy, quiet and such a delightful, warm couple who own and run the place. Its' main reason for being is as a conference and wedding venue, but they now take in B&B guests. If you want TV, noise and normal hotel trappings, this is not for you: you're living in someone's home and are treated as such - the food is excellent (they do evening meals - you have what they're having, and, boy, do they eat well!!), and the surroundings welcoming and friendly. Well situated less than hour south of Aalborg in rolling countryside with river, cows and meadows to one side and barley and Christmas trees on the other, the place is great for walking and relaxing, cycling too. In Denmark nowhere is too many hours drive away, and if you're prepared to take a couple of hours on good roads to get there, Legoland, Viking stuff and good beaches, a huge aquarium and seals at the tip of Europe are never far away.

Beställde ett rum för tre med bad och fick en egen flygel i herrgården med två sovrum, bad och hall. Mycket vackert och mysigt. Renoverat på tidigt 80-tal kanske men otroligt rent. Super frukost med allt man kan önska. Ett riktigt smultronställe!

Rural hotel with lots of charm and patina. Friendly staff and great breakfast. Can recommend if you have a car and want some peace and quiet in the danish countryside.

Dejlig afslappet sted med fantastiks udsigt over landskabet,værstparret er meget venlige og imødekommende. Frank Ditlevsen
