Reviewed Mar 9, 2026Die Lage. Man war in 5 Minuten zu Fuß im Zentrum von Stellenbosch. Mit einem Auto dorthin zu fahren, macht keinen Sinn, weil es nicht genug Parkplätze gibt und an jeder Ecke ein "Parking Marshall" lauert.
1. Wir hatten die "Garden Suite mit Terrasse" für €236 pro Nacht. Es war ein Souterrain ähnliches Zimmer praktisch ohne Fenster. Von Suite keine Spur. Es gab nur ein schmales, ca. 30 cm hohes, nicht öffenbares Fenster über dem Waschbecken, auf den Bildern ist das gut zu erkennen. Um Luft zu bekommen musste man die Eingangstür, die direkt zum Poolbereich ging, offen lassen. Auch das ist auf den Bildern gut zu erkennen. Die Klimaanlage wälzte nur die vorhandene Luft um. 2. Während unseres Besuchs 05.-08.03.26 war auf dem Nachbargrundstück, ca. 10 m von unserer Zimmertür entfernt, eine Baustelle, ein Neubau des Nachbarhauses, im Rohbau bis zum 1.OG fertig, mit erheblicher Lärm- und Staubbelastung: Presslufthammer, Bohren, Sägen usw.. Ausschlafen oder Mittagsschlaf war nicht möglich. Auch am Samstag wurde bis 15:00 Uhr gearbeitet. Diese Baustelle machte den Aufenthalt zur Hölle. Sie hätte bei der Buchung nicht verschwiegen werden dürfen. In der Ausstattungsbeschreibung heißt es: "Schallisolierung". Das grenzt an Betrug, jedes Geräusch auf der Baustelle nebenan war zu hören, als ob es neben einem war. Ein Video mit Ton ist vorhanden, kann hier aber nicht hochgeladen werden. Der Preis von €708 für 3 Tage war für diese Unterkunft eine Unverschämtheit, man kann auch sagen Betrug. 3. Beim Frühstück wurde einem ein vorbereitetes Müsli und 1 frisch gepresster Orangensaft vorgesetzt, danach gab es ein vorbereitetes Eigericht. Beides konnte man annehmen oder ablehnen, Auswahl gab es keine.

Reviewed Feb 27, 2026Het guesthouse zit op een top locatie net buiten de drukte van de stad. Wel sta je met 2 minuten lopen al tussen de restaurants. De kamer was netjes en het bed lag heerlijk! Beneden een goed gevulde minibar waar je (tegen betaling) van alles kon pakken. De granola bij het ontbijt was erg lekker. Zwembadje ook top!
Het leek alsof er vogels of andere beesten op het dak zaten waar wij vaker van wakker werden. Het ontbijt duurde iets te lang toen wij aangegeven hadden op tijd weg te moeten.

The design of the room and Guest House is very contemporary using local artwork and sculptures in the lobby and restaurant areas. Anina and the staff are exemplary- so friendly in welcoming us to stay. The brekkie is yummy too. If in Stellenbosch, would highly recommend you book a room.

Schöne Zimmer , sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, bequeme Betten! Frühstück: Frisches Obst, Yoghurt,Müsli zusätzlich frisch zubereitete Eierspeisen in allen Variationen plus gewünschte Beilagen! Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt und können diese Unterkunft wärmstens weiterempfehlen :) !

The house is beautifully decorated and the rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were more than willing to assist in any way that they could. Wir konnten fussläufig einige Restaurants und Bars erreichen - auch die Innenstadt mit süßen Geschäften war nicht weit. Anina die Besitzerin des Guesthouse hat und sehr lieb empfangen und uns direkt einige Tipps gegeben. Das Frühstück war immer sehr frisch und toll zubereitet.

Parkeren op eigen terrein, nooie, schone kamers. Goed advies in trips, ontzettend leuke wijnproeverij geboekt, prachtige beeldentuin van Dylan Lewis, bezoek de tuinen van Vergelegen, niet normaal zo mooi!

The owner and staff were very friendly and gave us an extensive tour throught the rooms and the guest areas right after check-in. The breakfast was fantastic and one thing to point out are the extremely comfortable beds - big plus!
