Had the most amazing time at Amilla! The villa was super spacious and private—waking up to that ocean view every morning was unreal. The food was consistently delicious with tons of variety, way exceeding our expectations. Plus, the snorkeling and manta ray trips were unforgettable! Shoutout to the amazing team for taking such good care of us. Would 100% come back!
Both water and beach villa are nice ,Friendly& helpful staff , amazing butler - Sam!
Honestly, our stay at Amilla Maldives was a absolute dream! The Villa: Huge, super private, and literally steps away from the turquoise ocean. Waking up and jumping straight into our private pool with that view never got old. Excursions: The house reef and location in Baa Atoll are insane. We went out to see manta rays and dolphins, and it was hands down the best experience of the trip. The crew made us feel super safe and hyped the whole time! Huge thanks to the Nappe for being so genuine and attentive. Already dreaming about coming back
One of the brightest criticisms for the promotional VIP tour organized by Center travel is Amilla Maldives 5* - a premium resort, which has a luxurious style and is absolutely not similar to most Maldivian hotels. Hotel Deluxe Rivnya. This island is often sought after for its privacy, for its grandeur, and is often preferred by people in the hotel. Beckhamy, D Caprio, Kate Winslet, Peris Hilton, Orlando Bloom were guests of this hotel. Inspection notes Amilla Maldives Resort & Residences 5* Deluxe: Secret information 📍 Atol Baa (UNESCO Biosphere Reserve) ✈️ Transfer: • about 30 hvylin hydrolitakom; Amilla has a steamy lounge at the hydrocarbon terminal Often, check-in at a hotel is often carried out here, so after arriving on the island you don’t have to sit at the initial reception desk. The island is great beyond the Maldivian world, even green, with wide beaches and a great amount of tropical vegetation. However, given the high level of attention, there is no fault here because of the pressure - there is plenty of space to work with. There is modern architecture, minimalism, panoramic windows, bright interiors and plenty of open space. We looked at the categories Beach Villas and Water Villas. First, what is enemy is their area. These are some of the largest villas in the Maldives. I slept at the Reef Water Pool Villa. Marvel at this villa on video - You will be in captivity. A majestic, bright space with high staircases, flanked by living rooms and panoramic windows. Spacious bathroom, dressing room, large terrace, private pool. Willie goes straight out to the house reef. The area is approximately 220 m², the internal space is 130 m². bright cosmetics, capsule coffee maker, premium mini-bar. Lagoon Water Pool Villa is very similar to Reef Water Pool Villa, except that it looks not on the reef, but on the lagoon. The area is approximately 220 m², the internal space is 130 m². Sunset Water Pool Villa three mensch Area approximately 220 m², internal space 100 m². For those tourists who are planning more vacations per week, I would recommend combining accommodation - some nights at the Beach Villa and some at the Water Villa. This allows us to eliminate two different enemies from the Maldives. Amilla Maldives Beach Pool Villa is also very spacious and comes with a private pool. The back area of the Beach Pool Villa is 470 m²!!! And the interior is 220 m2. There's even more to come Reef Water Pool Villa!!! It effectively attacks! Treetop Pool Villa (2 Bedroom) - the birthplace of the island - a villa on a tree, for those who love super-privacy. Area approximately 250 m², internal space 170 m² We were told that renovation of the rooms is planned, but without renovation the rooms will look great, since everything is made from clear materials. The beaches are even wider, with fine white sand. The Turquoise Lagoon looks just like how tourists imagine their ideal Maldives. The house reef is really good. A wonderful place for snorkeling, where you can see sea turtles, reef sharks, stingrays and a large variety of tropical fish. Since the resort is located in the Baa Atoll, it is very close to the famous Hanifaru Bay - one of the poorest places in the world, where in the season you can watch the massive accumulation of manta rays and whale sharks. For lovers of diving and snorkeling this is a great advantage. Okrema is the advantage of Amilla for the Ukrainian homeland - the children's club has a child from Ukraine, Kristina.. This is especially important for young children, who easily adapt to the English middle class. The fathers of the fathers mean a well-developed program, a respectful look and a warmly placed team for the children. Children are happy to be away from them for several years, take part in master classes, excursions and games, and their parents can calmly respect them. Sometimes small personal gifts are prepared for children to say goodbye. Amilla - to reach the great natural island. During the day you can ride bicycles or use buggies. Gastronomy The kitchen is one of the strongest aspects of the resort. A number of restaurants operate under different concepts: • Feeling Koi - Japanese cuisine and teppanyaki. • East - Asian cuisine. • Emperor Beach Club - a restaurant on the beach with wonderful seafood and grilled herbs. • Fresh Café - healthy food, salads, smoothies and light herbs. The main restaurant offers clear dishes with a great selection of fruits, syrups, seafood and herbs that are prepared directly in front of guests. The presentation of herbs is beautiful, the products are of high quality, and the service is of the luxury level. On HB and FB, guests are not limited to one main restaurant: they can choose from several restaurants in the dine around system. In the minds of 2026, FB includes a two-course lunch and a three-course dinner. This means choosing, for example, an appetizer and main course for lunch, and for dinner - an appetizer, main course and dessert. However, some expensive products may require additional payment. Feeling Koi inclusions from the standard HB/FB plan, and guests will receive a 50% discount on the menu. We would especially like to highlight one of the main features of Amilla - the resort is one of the leaders in the Maldives - its special food. Gluten-free menu, vegan, dairy free, vegetarian, low sugar - here it is very important to consider the guests due to any special features of the food. The selection of wines, champagne and premium alcoholic beverages is also very worthy. Infrastructure ✔ Spacious SPA complex. ✔ Today's gym. ✔ Yoga and meditation. ✔ Diving center. ✔ Great selection of water sports. ✔ Tennis courts. ✔ Padel. ✔ Bicycles for guests. ✔ One of the largest children's clubs among luxury resorts in the Maldives. Amilla itself is often recommended to families with children. Service The staff is very respectful, generous and professional. It appears that the team is trying to make the work as personalized as possible. Whether the food will turn out smoothly or without guessing. This itself differentiates the luxury segment from just good five-star hotels. Nuance If we speak absolutely objectively, then the stink is the same. Across the great dimensions of the island, most guests pass by bicycles or bugs. The current minimalist style of the resort is not for everyone. Tourists who are looking for the most traditional Maldivian bungalows made of natural wood are better suited to other resorts. The house reef is good, and since for the client snorkeling itself is the main criterion for selection, you can also consider a number of resorts with an even stronger house reef. Who do I recommend it for? ❤️ Bet. ❤️ Young guys. ❤️ Family with children. ❤️ Tourists who have already been to the Maldives. ❤️ Lovers of modern architecture. ❤️ Pricing gastronomies. ❤️ Guests who value great values, privacy and a high level of service. Visnovok Amilla Maldives Resort & Residences is one of the most original luxury resorts in the Maldives. There is no ostentatious luxury here, but there is plenty of space, incredible service, excellent cuisine, modern design and an atmosphere of absolute calm. This is the same resort that, after a special inspection, I would like to recommend to tourists with renewed interest. On behalf of the “Sea of Tours” network, we thank the Amilla Maldives Resort & Residences team for the warm welcome, professional presentation to the resort and the opportunity to get to know one of the finest representatives of the luxury segment of the Maldives. #Maldives #Amilla #Center #Center #tastyresty
What an unforgettable trip for me. Everyone is very friendly. The scenery is also beautiful, and I will remember it for a very long time.
Amilla is the seventh island we visited in Maldives, and it's also the one that left the deepest impression on us. The weather when we first arrived was terrible, but the warm and attentive service provided by the hotel made us feel much better.❤️Especially our butler, Ms. Amina, who is very professional, attentive, and meticulous. She provided us with meticulous care and attention every day, making us feel as comfortable and convenient as if we were at home. Thanks to her, our vacation became even more wonderful and enjoyable! If we come back to Amilla again, I believe the perfect service provided by the staff will be a very important reason. Thank you very much!(>y<)
We had a wonderful stay at Amilla. The island is beautiful, peaceful, and exceptionally well maintained, and the whole experience felt both relaxing and personal. A special thank-you to our room host, Asad, who was incredibly considerate, attentive, and thoughtful throughout our stay. He always checked that we had everything we needed, responded quickly to our requests, and made every effort to ensure we were comfortable. His warm and professional service truly made our experience even more memorable. We also enjoyed the friendly staff, beautiful surroundings, and excellent range of activities. Amilla is a very special place, and we would be happy to return.
The four-day trip was very enjoyable. The hotel’s snorkeling experience was excellent. Asad, the concierge, was very friendly and helped us arrange our itinerary, accommodations, and everything went smoothly. I hope we’ll have another chance to meet everyone again.
Unforgettable memories! Fantastic view and vey nice working staff, especially our butler Asad, very kind and considerable. Next time will come during NOv- May, avoiding the rainy season.
We would like to thank the entire Amilla tesm for an amazing holiday. We returned home a few days ago with unforgettable memoris. Everything was perfect and we would rate our stay 10/10. A very special thank you goes to our wonderful butler HAJAR 🫶for her kindness, professionalism, and outstanding care troughout our stay. We highly recommend Amilla to anyone visiting the Maldives and hope to return again in the future. Thank you for everything❤️
I think the environment of Amira is very good. It is located in the centre of the sea, the air is fresh, the room is very neat, very cost-effective, the noise is not much, and the service experience is very good, especially our housekeeper Asad, the service is very considerate, and the convenience facilities are relatively complete.
Our family of five (my wife and I, our 4-year-old daughter, and my parents) had an absolutely wonderful stay at Amilla Maldives. It was truly one of the best family vacations we have ever had. The island is stunning, with crystal-clear water, beautiful white sand beaches, and amazing snorkeling right off the shore. We especially enjoyed the Blue Hole snorkeling experience, where we saw so many colorful tropical fish and marine life. The restaurants were excellent, offering a great variety of delicious food, and every meal was something we looked forward to. What made our stay truly exceptional was the outstanding service. Our butler, Asad, took incredible care of us from the moment we arrived until the day we left. He was always responsive, thoughtful, and genuinely cared about making our stay as comfortable as possible. Whether it was arranging restaurant reservations, organizing activities, helping us with transportation, or assisting us whenever we needed anything, Asad handled everything with professionalism and kindness. Traveling with both young children and elderly parents can sometimes be challenging, but thanks to Asad, everything went smoothly and stress-free. Our daughter absolutely loved every moment of the trip. She had so much fun playing on the beach, swimming, and discovering the underwater world while snorkeling. Seeing how happy she was made this vacation even more special for our whole family. A heartfelt thank you to everyone at Amilla Maldives for creating such unforgettable memories for us, and a very special thank you to Asad for his exceptional care and hospitality. We would gladly return in the future and highly recommend Amilla Maldives to anyone looking for a perfect family getaway.
Perfect getaway at Amilla Maldives! Stunning villa, crystal-clear water, and incredible food—but the real highlight was our butler, Asad. He anticipated our every need, gave spot-on recommendations, and made us feel truly cared for with his warm, genuine smile. If you're coming here, ask for Asad—he's a gem. Can't wait to return!"
Our butler Hajar was very caring, friendly and helpful. The food in Amilla also had a great quality. Overall, the experience was excellent.
We just returned from an absolute dream family vacation at Amilla Maldives with our 7-year-old child, and it exceeded every expectation! The island’s natural beauty is unreal—lush jungle greenery, pristine powder-white beaches, and crystal-clear turquoise waters rich with marine life. It felt like playing in a tropical paradise. The culinary experience was another massive highlight. Every meal was delicious, especially the authentic local Maldivian dishes and fresh seafood. We loved exploring the vibrant flavors, and the restaurants were super accommodating and kid-friendly! Above all, what made our trip truly special was our amazing butler, Hajar. She took exceptional care of all three of us throughout our stay! Hajar was warm, thoughtful, and incredibly attentive—especially toward our child, making sure our little one felt happy, comfortable, and entertained every single day. Thank you, Hajar, and the Amilla team for giving our family memories that we will cherish forever. We can’t wait to come back!
Reef villa is very good. It is close to the trench. There are many fish. You can see the fish when you jump in the morning. My housekeeper Monika is great and the service is very considerate. I like her. The room was cleaned very cleanly, and the water and bath towels were replenished in time.
We had a great time here for our honeymoon. We stayed in one of the villas that are directly on the coral reef, we could go swimming or snorkeling whenever we liked. The room was very spacious and clean, with a beautiful view of the ocean. They also offered a lot of additional events that cost a bit more such as going to certain locations for snorkeling or scooba diving, so I am glad we budgeted for that because those experiences were quite special. We saw a lot of underwater wildlife like manta rays, sharks and a lot of fish. We had a bit of a surprise bill for one meal because we didn’t understand what was included (for each person: one starter, one main, one dessert. Anything extra such as a side dish or beverage is charged and they’re not cheap). But other than that one exception, the service was outstanding and the food was great, too. Our butler, Asad, was very attentive to our needs and consistently helpful, as was all the staff. The scooba diving instructor was very patient. The staff member that met us at the airport, Jaif, was helpful as well, and even helped us take a quick ferry ride to the city next to the airport for a quick couple hour visit on our departure day.
Amilla is a nice place for vacation. The sea view is beautiful. Water villa and sand beach villa are both good. The island is large and we can walk around in the jungle. The big swimming pool is also good, with very clear water. Our butler Asad is very nice. He can understand us well and helped us lot during our stay.
We had a wonderful and fulfilling trip. My wife and I really enjoyed our holiday. We’d like to express our gratitude to our Chinese-speaking butler Monica for her amazing service. The housekeeping staff were also very friendly. Highly recommended!
Amilla is a stunningly beautiful island, just like a hidden paradise that captivates everyone who visits. Lying by the infinity pool of your villa, you can watch shoals of cute fish swimming beneath the water. We even spotted baby sharks gliding past the villa! The staff are incredibly warm and friendly, greeting you every time they pass by. Our villa host Monica is thoughtful and attentive, catering to every single request, making our stay utterly delightful. The guides for sea fishing and snorkeling are fantastic too. Morning fishing trips come with tasty snacks and soft drinks 👍 I highly recommend everyone to spend your holiday at Amilla!
We just got back from Amilla and I miss it already. It was our second time in Maldives and this was just an outstanding vacation. Seamless pick ups and transfers. The ocean and beach villas are spacious and stunning, a lot of real estate for Maldives. The resort grounds are just so beautiful. Every corner perfectly designed and landscaped. But you can tell they are pros by the small things; icy cold water and cold towels when you get to the pool or are about to start your meals, the bikes parked at your villa with your name tags (also cute wooden tags prepared for your bags!), free ice cream ...are just a few thoughtful little things that makes a difference. The food was superb, each meal better than the last. We really enjoyed Tessera mediterranean food and the Maldivian night had the tastiest flavours. However, it's the staff that stand out. They are super efficient, are genuinely warm and take great pride in what they do. Our heartiest thanks to Mani who was the Head of F&B who took the time to celebrate our 21st wedding anniversary with some cake and a beautiful wooden keepsake. Do the Blue hole snorkeling, it's super cool though we didn't free dive to it (too deep) but the marine life and snorkeling around it was also really good. The reef is best off the spa but the marine life at the blue hole was just teeming with large schools of fish probably due to the current and plankton. We did the manta ray snorkeling and this is the perfect place to spot them, they are only 25 mins away which means you go when the rangers spot the manta. In July they only do it twice a week so best to book a stay that covers both days to maximize your chance. We hesitated coming during the monsoon season but really enjoyed it. The days were sunny with some clouds but the cool breeze made our beach days the best we ever had around the world as you had beautiful blue seas, warm water and cool breeze to keep humidity at bay. Our deepest thanks to Amilla for making our stay so memorable. We hope to come again!
As my Tripadvisor profile evidences, I don't write a lot of reviews! However, we stayed at Amilla recently and I feel compelled to post something as this resort and its staff are exceptional ! Right from arrival in Male, we were greeted by the Amilla airport reps who made sure everything went smoothly. We could see the from lovely wooden baggage labels they attached to our cases that we had been upgraded to a reef villa which, as a keen snorkeller, made me very happy. Arriving on their beautiful island, we were greeted by a welcoming party of staff on the pier, including Ammaty, our fantasic 'Katheeb' (our dedicated personal butler and guest experience coordinator) who was to prove invaluable over our 8 night stay. His title really doesn't do him justice - he was continually on-hand to ensure our entire stay was perfect from start to finish. From explaining and booking excursions and meals to ensuring that my wife's malfunctioning bicycle was replaced and waiting outside the restaurant in the time it took us to finish breakfast - Ammaty was a superstar! The rooms are a very good size and Mehedi our room attendant kept it spotless clean and all our tea and milk and other supplies replenished throughout. I also wouldn't normally mention lots of other staff in reviews but the service standards were so high that I must give lots of 'shout outs' (and also apologies to all the others that I may have missed): The breakfast buffet at Fresh is sumptuous (even including bubbles to drink if that's how you roll) and its excellence is only surpassed by the warmth of the welcome from Alexandra, Firdavs, Jaya, Simba, Yaseen, Murray and the rest of the team. There are lots of other food and beverage choices throughout the day, whether it be the complimentary ice creams, Saman and Prasanna's sunset cocktails at the Baa Bar or the wonderful experience of dining overwater at Feeling Koi, where you can watch the resident nurse sharks while Sabo, Shahid and team make sure everything is perfect. Apart from the exceptional F&B offering, another main reason to chose Amilla is the abundant marine life on the house reef that surrounds the island. You can snorkel to your heart's content direct from your water villa and I enjoyed some great eagle ray and shark encounters and also the thrill of being surrounded by a large school of mouth mackerel while they were feeding , which felt like being in the middle of a National Geographic documentary. If you want to be accompanied then the excursions team offer regular complimentary trips to the 'Blue Hole' on the house reef. The night snorkelling (a paid for excursion but well worth it in my opinion) was also great and unlike my experience at other resorts they will take you out even if there are no other guests wanting to go. They also take care to check you have the relevant experience for such an adventure, which I think is a very sensible precaution and ensures all members of the group will be comfortable and enjoy it. Particular thanks to Yamin for his expert and fun night snorkel guiding and also Sotti for the Blue Hole tour. Luiza the resident marine biologist is a mine of information and hosts regular talks on sea turtles. Her guided tour of the island is also a must. Finally I must also name check Jason at the Dive Butler Centre who went out of his way to try and rescue my GoPro from a flood and didn't charge for his time in doing so - another example of Amilla's people going above and beyond. After writing all of this you can see why we have now booked to return shortly. We return in the hope of meeting the mantas at Hanifaru Bay (it was not the right season when we first visited) but also in the knowledge that Ammaty and the whole Amilla family will be sure to make our visit exceptional, no matter what wildlife chooses to make an appearance or not!
We booked a Family Water Pool Villa at Amilla Maldives expecting an ultra-luxury family getaway. Instead, we paid an exorbitant amount of money for substandard facilities, severe property neglect, and an arrogant management team that believes operational failures can be swept under the rug with free perks. We stayed in Villa 1303, and the experience was deeply disappointing. Since management loves to post polite corporate scripts publicly to dodge accountability, here is the undeniable, raw reality behind their polished marketing: Inadequate Bedroom Conditions: The air conditioning in the second bedroom (my child’s room) was completely inadequate and failed to cool the room properly. Management now publicly claims their engineering team found "no mechanical fault." If the AC was perfectly fine, why did your team have to dump a heavy, noisy portable AC unit and a stand fan inside a multi-thousand-dollar luxury bedroom? The presence of that loud portable unit is living, breathing proof of your cooling failure. Worse, the emergency fire detector on the ceiling had a blinding green light that constantly flashed directly over the bed with no option to turn it off. This toxic combination of an overheating room, a noisy backup fan, and a flashing green light is exactly why my child suffered from severe sleep deprivation for days. Poor Villa Maintenance: The "luxury" upkeep here is nonexistent. The blackout curtains in the master bedroom were literally riddled with visible holes, letting light pour in. Broken light switches and loose power sockets were scattered throughout our villa. For the premium price we paid, the lack of basic maintenance and the poor condition of the room were completely unacceptable for a Maldivian resort designed for families. Incompetent Management, Hostage Money & Forced Perks: I want to clarify that the frontline staff and ground crew were polite and did their best to respond quickly. However, the resort management was incredibly arrogant and very difficult to contact. When we finally established communication regarding these room failures, the management flatly and immediately refused our refund request first. They deliberately rejected our refund before throwing any free perks at us. Because they already held our money hostage and we were trapped on the island, we had absolutely no choice but to reluctantly accept their subsequent "goodwill gestures"—an early arrival dinner, a 60-minute spa, a dolphin trip, and enhanced dining. They forced these distractions on us after closing the door on a refund, and now they shamelessly use these free activities as a shield to claim we have been "sufficiently compensated." Free food does not replace a functional room and a child's lost sleep. Their offer to relocate us mid-vacation was also a logistical nightmare for a family, not a luxury solution. We flew to the Maldives for a flawless luxury experience in a premium Family Water Pool Villa, not to be financially exploited. Amilla Maldives is a neglected property run by an incompetent team that completely lacks leadership. Do not be fooled by the pictures. I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESORT. Spend your hard-earned money at the Four Seasons, Soneva, or One&Only instead. Amilla is an absolute disgrace to luxury hospitality. To Amilla’s Management / "Your Amilla Family": Do not reply to this review with your predictable, copy-pasted corporate script. Save your "blissful greetings" and your hollow statements of being "saddened and concerned." Do not even dare to use your favorite defensive excuse, claiming that you "preferred not to go into detail" or that we "were not given the opportunity to extend your generosity." You were given every opportunity while we were there, but you chose corporate arrogance, trapped us, and refused a refund before forcing those perks on us. OP view, OP snorkeling environment. Dive everyday. Different styles of restaurants, the Black cod taste really good in Feeling Koi. Everyone is nice and casual here. Free ice cream service is sweet, we enjoy everyday. Villa space is pretty big, qualified for luxury hotel. Enjoy this awesome trip!
Great island, beautiful beaches, Snorkeling Level A, Private Swimming Pool in the Whole Room. Food is supper good, many restaurants with different styles of food. Suitable for honeymooners, parents and children, snorkeling and people who pursue quiet and luxury.
I’m honestly still speechless after my stay at Amilla. It truly feels like a dream island with a dream resort. What made this experience so special wasn’t just the crystal-clear water, the soft white sand, the beautiful villas, or the incredible activities it was the people. Every single staff member was so kind, welcoming, and genuinely caring. They always went above and beyond to make us feel at home. One of my favorite parts was getting a real insight into Maldivian culture. The warmth and kindness of the people made this trip unforgettable. Everything about Amilla is thoughtfully designed, creating the perfect balance between luxury, nature, and authentic experiences. I can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a once-in-a-lifetime escape. Thank you for such an unforgettable stay. 🤍
Our stay at Amilla was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, we felt genuine warmth, kindness, and hospitality from every member of the team. Traveling with two young children, we always appreciate great service, but what made this trip so special was how sincerely the staff cared for our family. One of the most touching moments was the birthday celebration arranged for our 4-year-old son. The effort, thoughtfulness, and love that everyone put into making his day memorable deeply touched us. It is a memory our family will cherish for years to come. We would like to give special thanks to a few remarkable team members: Monica (Villa Host) Monica was simply outstanding. From the day we arrived on the island until our departure, she took exceptional care of us. She was always available whenever we needed assistance, responded quickly to every request, and helped organize our activities perfectly. Her planning was thoughtful and well-balanced, allowing us to enjoy every moment of our vacation without stress. Monica's professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care made a huge difference to our experience. Afsan Ali Through our conversations, we learned that Afsan is also a father of two boys, including a two-year-old son. Perhaps because of this, he immediately formed a special connection with our children, especially our son. Every day he greeted us warmly, interacted with us with genuine affection, and treated our little boy with incredible kindness and patience. It was obvious that he truly enjoyed spending time with him. When it was time for us to leave, we could genuinely feel that Afsan was reluctant to say goodbye, and that heartfelt connection touched us deeply. We hope our paths will cross again someday. Sotti (Snorkeling Guide) As first-time snorkelers, we were naturally a little nervous about being in the open ocean. Sotti was incredibly patient, professional, and responsible throughout the entire experience. During our Blue Hole snorkeling trip in particular, he paid special attention to our 7-year-old daughter, ensuring she always felt safe and comfortable. His calm guidance gave her the confidence to relax and enjoy the extraordinary underwater world around her. Thanks to Sotti, what could have been an intimidating experience became one of the highlights of our vacation. There are many other team members we would love to thank individually, but the list would be far too long. Every interaction we had—whether at the restaurants, around the resort, or during activities—was filled with warmth and sincerity. Amilla is not only a beautiful island paradise; it is a place made extraordinary by its people. The genuine care, kindness, and personal connections we experienced turned a wonderful holiday into something truly special. Thank you to everyone at Amilla for creating memories that our family will treasure forever. We hope to return one day.
The accommodation is very nice, the scenery is beautiful and the service is excellent
Stunning place. Everything was meticulously cared for. Impeccable service. We'll definitely be back.
As our wonderful stay at Amilla comes to an end, my family and I would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made our holiday so memorable. Every staff member we met was warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. One person who left a particularly deep impression on us was Sama, who assisted with our airport transfers. She was friendly, engaging, and incredibly helpful. We were delighted to meet her again on our departure journey. Upon arriving at Amilla, we were fortunate to be introduced to our Villa Host, Monica. As she is also from China, we immediately felt a special sense of familiarity and connection. Throughout our stay, she carefully and thoughtfully arranged everything for us, always ensuring that our family was well taken care of. Her kindness and attention to detail truly made a difference. The restaurant team was equally exceptional. Every member of staff was warm and attentive, and we were especially impressed by Yeasin, who can speak four languages. His ability to communicate with guests from different backgrounds so effortlessly was remarkable. We would also like to thank the Dive Center team. The instructors and guides were professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Thanks to their expertise, we were able to enjoy the unforgettable experience of seeing manta rays, which became one of the highlights of our trip. Finally, a special thank you to the housekeeper Bishan for her hard work and care throughout our stay. The beautiful decorations prepared for our wedding anniversary were a wonderful surprise, and our children absolutely loved the towel animals that greeted them each day. These thoughtful touches created memories that our family will treasure for a long time. Amilla is truly a special place, not only because of its beautiful surroundings, but because of the amazing people who work here. We sincerely hope to have the opportunity to return one day and create more wonderful memories with all of you. With our deepest appreciation and best wishes, Keiman Chu & Family
We booked a Family Water Pool Villa at Amilla Maldives expecting an ultra-luxury family getaway. Instead, we paid an exorbitant amount of money for substandard facilities, property neglect, and an arrogant management team that believes operational failures can be swept under the rug with free perks. We stayed in Villa 1303, and the experience was utterly pathetic. Here is the undeniable reality behind their polished marketing of a premium family villa: Child’s Room transformed : The air conditioning in the second bedroom (my child’s room) was completely inadequate and failed to cool the room properly. Management’s brilliant "luxury solution" to this cooling failure was to drop off a portable AC unit and a stand fan into the bedroom. Worse, the emergency fire detector on the ceiling had a blinding green light that constantly flashed directly over the bed with no option to turn it off. This toxic combination of an insufficiently cooled room and a flashing green light is exactly why my child suffered from severe sleep deprivation for days. Riddled Blackout Curtains: The "luxury" upkeep is a joke. The blackout curtains in the master bedroom were literally riddled with visible holes, letting light pour in. Broken light switches and loose power sockets were scattered throughout our multi-thousand-dollar villa. We felt like we were staying in a poorly maintained, cheap roadside motel, not a premium Maldivian resort designed for families. Incompetent Management & Refund Refusal: I want to clarify that the frontline staff and ground crew were polite and did their best to respond quickly. However, the resort management was incredibly arrogant and very difficult to contact. When we finally established communication, their attitude was dismissive. They tried to "bribe" away our ruined vacation and my child’s lost sleep by hiding behind what they called "goodwill gestures." In their emails, they proudly listed these perks to deny accountability: a complimentary early arrival dinner via In-Villa Dining, a complimentary 60-minute spa treatment, a complimentary Dolphin Discovery experience, and access to enhanced dining offerings. We accepted these temporary distractions with great reluctance because we felt trapped on the island after paying in full. Because of these severe operational and room failures, we formally requested a refund for our accommodation. Shockingly, the management flatly refused to return our money, using these very complimentary activities and dinners as a shield to claim we had been "sufficiently compensated." We flew to the Maldives for a flawless luxury experience in a premium Family Water Pool Villa, not to be financially exploited and offered free food as a substitute for a functional room. Amilla Maldives is a neglected property run by an incompetent team that completely lacks leadership. Do not be fooled by the pictures. I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESORT. If you expect true luxury, seamless service, and a comfortable night's sleep for your family, spend your hard-earned money at the Four Seasons, Soneva, or One&Only instead. Amilla is an absolute disgrace to luxury hospitality. To Amilla’s Management : Do not reply to this review with your predictable, copy-pasted corporate script. Save your "blissful greetings" and your hollow statements of being "saddened and concerned." Do not even dare to use your favorite defensive excuse, claiming that you "preferred not to go into detail" or that you "were not given the opportunity to extend your generosity." You were given every opportunity while we were there, but you chose arrogance, held our money hostage, and flatly refused a refund. Future guests, please watch how they reply to this—if they use their generic PR template or try to gaslight us publicly, it will prove exactly how toxic and dishonest this management truly is.
We had an absolutely wonderful vacation at Amilla Maldives. From arrival to departure, our butler, Yaah, took exceptional care of us. He was always quick to reply to WeChat messages, seamlessly adjusted our itinerary due to the variable weather, and took us to the restaurants at any time. As for the exclusive and customized birthday dinner he arranged for my daughter, it was a lovely surprise! In particular, the warm and attentive service from the server, Miss Mansi, made us feel right at home. The Reef Water Pool Villa is fantastic for snorkeling. The rainy season in the Maldives has its own unique charm and is absolutely worth experiencing. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes; they are beautifully presented and taste even better! The restaurant server's warm smile left a lasting impression on us. The housekeeping service is also very attentive and perfect. We really appreciated the sincere service provided by all the staff at Amilla. I am already looking forward to our next visit and can't wait to see the Amilla team again!
Our stay at Amilla Resort was absolutely wonderful. Though we visited during the rainy season, we only had one heavy rainy day over our four and a half days on the island. The rest of the time was sunny, perfect for snorkeling. We stayed in a Reef Villa, which offers fantastic snorkeling access. We saw a rich variety of corals and tropical fish, and were even lucky enough to spot sharks and rays on occasion — it was incredible! Our butler Bella was incredibly thoughtful, attentive and friendly. He recommended amazing restaurants and fun island activities for us. Everything was perfect. Our family had an unforgettable holiday, and we will definitely come back again.
Exceptional service, warm hospitality, and attention to detail made our stay truly memorable. The house reef is so nice and well protected. We can even see the turtle and sharks during snorkelling.
Friendly staff and the hotel is upholding ESG principle
We just finished our honeymoon trip at Amilla Maldives, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, and one of the biggest highlights was the snorkeling right from our villa. We could go down the ladder directly into the water, and there were corals just beneath us with so many colorful fish. We highly recommend the villas around 110–120, as the reef and marine life in this area were amazing. Near our villa, we saw turtles, sharks, and many different kinds of fish. The Blue Hole snorkeling experience was also enjoyable. We could see many people doing deep dives there, and the instructors were very careful, patient, and professional. The service throughout our stay was excellent. Every staff member we met was warm, welcoming, and made us feel truly at home. The breakfast was fantastic — definitely order from the menu, as the choices were wonderful and changed from day to day. For dinner, our favorite dish was the lobster, especially the charcoal-grilled lobster. The flavor was incredible. We also enjoyed the Mediterranean, Italian, and Japanese restaurants — all of them were very good. Overall, this was a perfect honeymoon trip for us. Beautiful views, amazing snorkeling, great food, and heartfelt service. We would highly recommend Amilla Maldives to couples and anyone looking for a relaxing luxury island experience.
Arrival The arrival welcome in Malé and the organization of the transfer to Amilla were handled professionally and quickly, with lounge access included. The seaplane flight was, of course, a dream. The welcome on Amilla was musical and warm, and the welcome drink in the beautiful reception lounge was perfectly presented and delicious. Perfect Service Extremely friendly staff, highly qualified and courteous, always helpful and kind, fulfilling every wish. Breakfast An exceptionally rich and varied, particularly healthy breakfast with several live cooking options, buffets, and a huge à la carte selection—no wishes remain unfulfilled. Restaurants Relatively to the number of guest beds, Amilla offers an extraordinarily high number of restaurants and dining options, very diverse and varied dishes, very healthy food, and all individual dietary requests were promptly accommodated, in some cases even at no extra charge. Private Clinic Exceptional, if not unique, in the Maldives is the private clinic with its permanent on-site physician and additional medical staff. All treatments, including medications, are free for guests! This is complemented by the personal care provided by the staff, who noticed when we weren't feeling our best. Personal Butler and Host Our personal butler and host was Nappe, an extremely proactive, reliable, and always attentive to the guests' well-being. He was a very pleasant person. Every wish was fulfilled, and he was always available. The Amilla system is truly special in this respect, as all matters, from check-in and room service to booking excursions, restaurant reservations, doctor's appointments, etc., could be conveniently coordinated with him personally or via WhatsApp at any time. The Villa A vast, private retreat, secluded from neighbors, offering absolute privacy, fantastic natural surroundings, a beautiful private pool, multiple shower options, relaxation areas, private dining, an exceptionally large bathroom, a fantastic bed, and ample space for luggage and clothing. Nature In many ways, Amilla evokes the feeling of a Robinson Crusoe island. Only a fraction of the tropical vegetation has been replaced by buildings, but all of it is done in perfect harmony. The beautiful paths, perfect for exploring on foot or by bicycle, are an absolute dream for body and soul. Dreamy beaches abound, along with an incredibly beautiful house reef. Everything is clean, with barely any noticeable pollution in the water. Sports and Excursions Separate buildings for cardio and strength training, a dedicated watersports center, a private dive club, various boats and ships available for charter and excursions, and a full range of watersports options—all readily accessible and easily arranged through your butler. And then there's the impeccably friendly staff, who organize everything and accompany you throughout your stay. Spa and Wellness A private village, architecturally and in terms of interior design, with a stunningly beautiful atmosphere, many highly qualified and empathetic therapists, appointments available at any time, all on the beach with sea views, including a sauna, steam room, and cold plunge pool. Departure Easy: Checkout at the villa, breakfast by the private pool, a relaxed walk to the jetty with a warm goodbye from many staff members, then off to the boat for the seaplane. Summary and Outlook Amilla is absolutely beautiful; no wishes were left unfulfilled, not a single moment was too precious or too expensive. So wonderful that we've already booked again and will be back in September for 108 days!
We stayed at Amilla Maldives Resort for 8 days, and it was truly an amazing experience. The island is spacious, surrounded by lush greenery and countless coconut trees. Thankfully, we didn’t encounter any caterpillars during our stay. The resort offers many complimentary activities, including snorkeling sessions, spa experiences, marine talks, and art classes. My favorite part was the two snorkeling trips — one around the house reef and the other to the Blue Hole. We saw grey sharks, reef sharks, turtles, and so many colorful fish. For me, the food and coffee were not exactly as expected, but the pastries, tenderloin steaks, and Maldivian and Indian dishes were absolutely delicious. The chefs were also very kind and always tried their best to fulfill our requests. Every night featured a live musical performance, which we really enjoyed. Most of the staff were incredibly welcoming and hospitable, and we loved chatting with them. Special thanks to Firdvas, Saronjini, Alex, Dewi, Shahbaj, Mansi, Shahid, Kawser, Shetti, Artist Rakeb, and of course our butler Hajer 🩷 The only downside for us was the rocks in front of the beach villas and the mosquitoes 🥲 Shukran, Shukuriyaa, Dhanyavaad, Kanta Rahmet, Terima Kasih 🫶🏻
I stayed for 7 nights in May. The staff were kind, as expected in most Maldivian resorts. We didn’t experience any caterpillars, Alhamdulillah — the team mentioned it’s seasonal and currently under control. Pros: -Beautiful lush greenery -Large resort with bicycles and enjoyable riding paths -Stunning coral reefs and complimentary snorkeling -Beach villa bathroom were inside with glassy windows no need to carry your skincare products every time -Amazing live band from the Maldives singing in many languages Cons: -The Beach Pool Villa beach had many -rocks and wasn’t the best for swimming -The Arabic cuisine lacked authentic Middle Eastern flavor -We didn’t enjoy the coffee beans quality Special thanks to our butler Hajer, Saddam Hussein, Shahbaj, and funny Dewi, who always went the extra mile for us. Also thanks to Kawser, Shetti, Chef Gihan for the yummy sweets, the lovely Indian ladies Saronjini and Mansi, and to the most respectful and kindest person in the world, Firdvas.
We truly enjoyed our time on the island. It is a beautiful place surrounded by lush trees, with a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The complementary snorkeling, spa and art activities was great in this resort. A special thank you to Saddam Hussain for his warm hospitality and welcoming attitude. We also want to thank the lovely staff who served us with kindness and made our stay even more enjoyable through their friendly conversations: Firdvas, Saronjini, Alex, Dewi, Shahbaj, Mansi, Shahid, Kawser, Artist Rakeb, Yaan and our butler, Hajer. We enjoyed the Maldivian night, as well as the tenderloin steak in Italian cuisine and Indian food. However, the Arabian night food was unfortunately not delicious at all. Thankfully, the team made up for it on another night with special food, which we appreciated. (Many thanks to chef Derrick) Also the pastries were delicious in the breakfast. We also really enjoyed the live band, their music, and the saxophone performance, which added a lovely atmosphere to the night. I highly recommend visiting the island for its greenery, calm vibes, and wonderful staff. The only downside is that the beach villas have rocks in front of them, so the sea there is not as crystal clear or easy to swim in as expected.
We spend an amazing week at Amilla in May 2026. We especially enjoyed the vast selection of different activities for all family members. We had especially chosen Amilla for a couple of main reasons: 1) the reputation of the kids club 2) the house reef accessible from the beach as well as the close by additional amazing under water experiences (Hanifaru Bay) 3) our high expectations to quality and service of a 5 star resort Amilla did not disappoint on any of these points. Especially the broad variety and amazing hospitality of the kids klub team was a great experience. We were also really fortunate to be able to join two breathtaking snorkling trips - one to see sea turtles and another to Hanifaru Bay where we did snorkeling with the impressive Manta Rays - two experiences we will never forget. All members of the Amilla staff we interacted with were super friendly, service minded and eager to contribute to our vacation being memorable.
I am Autistic with disabling medical conditions. I no longer can go on holiday by myself, Last year a friend helped me and we noted several accessibility concerns. I decided to try the Maldives this year and, as brochures do not include the information I needed, I asked AI, Copilot, “Is there anywhere in the Maldives with accessibility help?” The first response was “Amilla”, with the second stating that Amilla is a world leader in accessibility. I checked their website – it was amazing. So, I booked directly. The care and help we received far exceeded expectations. But further everyone was so kind and friendly making a truly fantastic experience. Amilla is beautiful, our villa was spacious and comfortable. Nappee, our butler, was a delight and chauffeured us around the resort. Everyone was ready to help make out stay easy. The restaurants and excellent and we have many happy memories. Copilot was right Amilla is a leader in accessibility care , But I say they are the World Leader in Kindness. Autistic people have problems lying, so this is the truth. The only sad thing was leaving but that was softened by my plans to return. Aloha is Hawaiian for Love. Amilla is holiday for Love.
We had a wonderful experience at Amilla, marking our fifth visit to the Maldives and our first stay at this resort. Our children, who are avid football fans, thoroughly enjoyed playing daily with the staff at the football ground. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and Hamza, the coach, was particularly kind, engaging with the kids and even presenting them with a special gift that brought them immense joy. The quality of food and service at the resort was impressive, with attentive and helpful restaurant staff. We appreciated the spaciousness and privacy of our villa, and our butler buddy was always available to assist with restaurant bookings and ensure we didn't miss any activities, checking in with us daily. His efforts made us feel valued, and we are certain we will return in the future.
Fall in love with an island, all because of the people on it ✨ Fall in love with an island, all because of the people on it 🌊 This trip to the Maldives was the most special birthday gift for our child 🎁. There are countless islands in the Maldives. We prefer pure, natural, low-key and high-quality secret resorts, and finally chose Amilla. The seaplane reception was thoughtful and smooth. The moment we stepped onto the island, we met our considerate and gentle Chinese butler Monica. Throughout the trip, she carefully arranged our schedule perfectly according to the weather and our preferences. She also worked with the staff to prepare an exclusive birthday surprise for our child. The exquisite room decoration and sincere birthday wishes created a warm and heartfelt atmosphere, touching us deeply 💖 At Amilla, respecting nature and adhering to environmental protection is never just a slogan. The island’s facilities are elegantly simple and understated. Plastic products are rarely seen everywhere. Every staff member holds sincere reverence for the ocean and the island, interpreting the gentle coexistence between humans and nature perfectly. Warm kindness can be found everywhere on the island: The lovely Kingzuo in the restaurant, the thoughtful Devi, and the warm waiter with glasses. Every staff member we met was friendly and amiable. The guest rooms are carefully cleaned twice a day, morning and evening. Drinking water is replaced in a timely manner. There is a rich variety of authentic and delicious meals. Every day on the island, we were taken great care of with tenderness. Healing Full Marks Sailing Time Sunset Fishing Crew member Nasih patiently taught us fishing skills hand in hand. With his help, our family kept catching fish one after another, filled with joy. But as we caught more fish, we gradually felt pity and guilt. The thoughtful Nasih noticed our emotion keenly. He let us release the fish back to the sea and comforted us gently: Don’t worry, it will get home safely. When catching fish hooked deeply, he would quietly remove the hook with his back turned to us. His gentle respect for life filled us with profound reverence 🙏 As the saying goes, we only take what we need from nature. This is exactly the beautiful state of living in harmony with nature. We thought sunset fishing was already the highlight of the journey, until the Manta Ray Snorkeling the next day touched our hearts once again. The sea was rough on the way to the snorkeling spot. Captain Alibe drove skillfully and steadily, making everyone feel comfortable throughout the ride. After going into the water, my snorkel mask kept leaking, putting me in an awkward situation. Alibe and the crew noticed my abnormality at once and pulled me back to the speedboat safely with a lifebuoy. They comforted me warmly and handed over bath towels and fresh water thoughtfully. Sincere thanks to the kind Alibe. May you have peace, joy and all the best in life 💖 Mountains and seas can be crossed; hearts are touched by kind people. Thank you, the fairy island Amilla. Thank you to the thoughtful Monica, the kind and warm Nasih, and the reliable and caring Alibe. Grateful to have encountered all the tenderness and beauty in the blue sea and sky ✨
NAPPEE Waa our butler what a amazing service he provided all Our needs met always This hotel is world class You must visit it has everything you would every ask for Staff go above and beyond to do everything The kids club is also top class my son enjoyed it so much he went every day Thank you to Nappee and his team for making My family Have the most amazing time with memories that will last forever xx I cried when I left !! The location of this island is beautiful, the atmosphere is very good, rooms are big and clean, value for money, amenities, all you need are in the room, noise level,so quite at night,.the house reef is amazing.service, our butler is Hajar, she's so helpful and kind. She know everything we ask.
My partner and I had an absolutely incredible 5-star stay at Amilla Maldives in April 2026. The island is a true tropical paradise. We participated in several excursions, including Dolphin Discovery, Ocean Discovery, and Sunset Fishing, all of which were professionally organized and unforgettable. The dining experience was exceptional—every restaurant served delicious food, with Feeling Koi being a particular standout. What truly made our trip special was the staff; everyone was incredibly friendly. We would like to extend a special thanks to our katheeb (island host), Ammaty, for his exceptional care and for making sure every detail of our stay was perfect. Highly recommended for a romantic and worry-free getaway!
My stay at Amilla Maldives Resort was nothing short of amazing. From the moment I arrived, the butler service was exceptionally attentive and responsive, always ready to assist whenever needed. Sam was amazing! This is the second time we visit in 1 year and Sam has been incredible each time. The island itself is breathtakingly beautiful, with crystal-clear waters and some of the best snorkeling conditions I’ve ever experienced. The villa was elegantly designed, spacious, and incredibly comfortable, making it easy to fully unwind.
This was our 6th visit to the Maldives and 2nd visit to Amilla, having previously visited in March 2025. Amilla is an amazing place for a family holiday and I would recommend it. The 2 bedroom beach villas are comfortable and extremely spacious with a large private pool which was the perfect set up for us and our two young children (7 and 2). Amilla benefits from an amazing house reef and our 7 year old could snorkel directly from the beach outside our villa. He was lucky enough to encounter an amazing array of sea life including sea turtle, stingray, reef shark and trigger fish without having to venture too far. Kids club staff are great and there is a good range of activities although we felt these were largely aimed at girls (our son was not keen for dance workshops, mermaid swimming, bracelet making etc!). Our 2 year old was able to attend kids club with the fantastic babysitter (Ishu) and she loved this. The food quality was consistently good at all the restaurants (Barolo was our favourite) and we felt the service had improved from 2025. The staff were always quick to bring us our gin and tonic at the start of the meal! The staff at Amilla, in particular our butler Bella and our babysitter Ishu, are amazing and set this resort apart from others we have visited. They looked after our children so well. A couple of negatives compared with last year - certain areas of the resort (eg. main deck surrounding the pool) and room are in need of repairs/ improvements and it seems that little money has been spent on these things in last 12 months or so due to the impending larger refurbishment. An infestation of hairy caterpillars was also a problem at the resort whilst we were there due to limited rainfall in recent months. Unfortunately our family ended and many other guests ended up with terrible rashes from the caterpillar hairs in the air and required a doctor’s visit. They were working hard to try and deal with it (spraying etc/ specialist teams brought in) and hopefully this is something they will be able to get on top of quickly.
Absolutely obsessed with Amilla Maldives! It’s totally a real 6-star island, hands down the perfect first stop for your Maldives trip. The scenery is insanely beautiful everywhere you look, just pure paradise view all around. This place totally lives up to the name Snorkeling King! Snorkeling is amazing here, you can get in the water right away and see tons of gorgeous marine life and beautiful corals super easily. The food is way better than I expected! The restaurant East, Feeling Coy, and the daily breakfast are all absolutely delicious, totally worth it. Service here is top notch! Our personal butler was super patient and helpful. Every staff member we passed on the road would greet us warmly and say hi. They even prepared a lovely surprise birthday party for my friend, such a thoughtful touch! Highly recommend this island 100%
Hajar, our butler, led a team of all stars on the staff, every single one of whom was friendly, engaging and could not do enough to make our stay outstanding in every respect. Among the Amilla staff, the word no simply does not exist. Amilla is the perfect Maldives luxury resort: small and intimate but large enough to have facilities and activities that permit guests to do it all, or nothing at all, at their discretion. The accommodations are extraordinary, the food impeccable but it is the staff that sets Amilla apart.
Paradise found at Amilla Fushi—an intimate, timeless retreat in Baa Atoll. White overwater villas float like piano keys on turquoise water, framed by swaying palms and endless blue skies.Every detail is crafted for relaxation: soft sand, calm lagoons, and the gentle rhythm of the Indian Ocean.Service is heartfelt, cuisine is world-class, and the house reef is a snorkeler’s dream. This isn’t just a resort—it’s an island home, where every day feels like a blissful escape. Pure magic, pure Amilla.
Amazing stay at Amilla Maldives! The island is stunning with crystal clear water and soft white sand. Our reef villa was spacious, clean and private, the sunset view was breathtaking. The staff are super friendly and attentive, service is warm and professional all the time. Breakfast is rich and delicious, restaurants offer great food with beautiful ocean views. The house reef is fantastic for snorkeling, we saw so many fish, turtles and lovely marine life. Everything is well arranged and well maintained. Amilla is pure luxury, quiet and peaceful. Absolutely worth every penny, highly recommend! Will definitely come back again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I was truly impressed by how hospitable and friendly the staff at Amilla resort are! The Reserve team answered every question timely I had before booking, and they absolutely delivered a room that matched every detail in my email. Our butler, Fira, is incredibly professional but warm. She helped us to book activities those we couldn’t arrange through the app, and took care every request we had. We felt spoiled by her. The Chef at restaurant was also very kind and professional, and even prepared a wonderful surprise for us. As for views, Amilla is a great spot in the BAA Atoll. We saw many beautiful fishe during snorkelling, and we even saw baby sharks and a manta near the beach. The only thing slightly below our expectations was the coral, as it suffered a significant damage in 2016 because of El Niño. We enjoyed this wonderful holiday so much, it would be a memorable experience for us. We highly recommend Amilla Resort to others
I spent 4 wonderful days at Amilla Fushi in the Maldives, and every day was packed with amazing activities: turtle snorkeling, sunset fishing, blue hole snorkeling, and dolphin watching. The whole experience was incredibly fulfilling. The service on the island is warm and attentive, especially our butler Naape, who took care of everything perfectly. We will definitely be back!
I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Amilla Maldives. The butler service was extremely attentive and responsive, always available whenever I called for help. The island scenery is stunning, and the snorkeling condition is absolutely top-class. The resort rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable. Housekeeping service is provided twice a day. The whole trip made me feel completely relaxed, both physically and mentally. It’s such a healing paradise.
Our stay at Amilla Maldives was wonderful. The island scenery is stunning, the environment is comfortable, and everything was perfect during our holiday. We are very grateful to the staff for their warm service. Special thanks to Kauser, who provided us with kind and helpful support throughout our trip. His thoughtful attitude made our vacation much more pleasant. We love this beautiful island very much and will highly recommend it to others.
Wonderful view.(Just look at the photos) Well-equipped room. Clean and cozy. Nice service. Friendly stuff everywhere. Butler Nappe helps a lot. All kinds of delicious restaurants. Joe's Pizza is my favorate. Rich activities(Snokerling, Fishing, Dolphine Discovery, Spa, Maldive evening) Unforgetable memory
Beautiful spot on the Baa Atoll in the Indian Ocean. Good food, fantastic and friendly service. Quiet. Clean. We had a beach, chairs, pool all to ourselves at a beach pool villa. Hajar, our Butler couldn’t do enough for us and checked on us every day. Mani, also was great . He provided me with my own smoothies every day. Snorkeling trip was interesting and staff was eager to help with fins, etc. Luiza, the marine biologist gave us two personal lectures, one on turtles and one on nature about the island. We were provided with bicycles and transport to anywhere on the island if we wanted it. There was entertainment just about every night. All transport and luggage handling were prompt and efficient. We needed to take a seaplane and a boat both ways from and to the atoll from Male. The scenery was dreamy and something I will never forget.
The service here is absolutely amazing. Every staff member you pass greets you warmly, and the butler is always available whenever you need anything. The service is incredibly thoughtful and attentive. They even arranged a late checkout for us on our last day. The Reef House villa type is fantastic. You can go straight down from your room into the sea to snorkel and see a wide variety of fish. We were lucky enough to spot a shark while staying in Room 123. The Beach Villa is also very unique with a huge private pool! The island is lush with tropical vegetation, just like a rainforest, perfect for exploring leisurely by bicycle.
Amilla was the most amazing resort and staff in the Maldives, specifically Sam was amazing and made our trip the best. We will be back 10/10 times!
Seaplane board is very close to island it will take 3 minutes. We slept very well with dark light and quiet in villa. Snorkeling is the best cos it’s too close just need to go in front of your door. Food in East is also very delicious both Thai food and Indian food. Housekeeper Bella is very thoughtful and quick responding. He helped us to deal with all issues from ourselves including changing life jackets size, changing 3 wheels bike since my family can’t ride bike, arranging dinner, booking spa and blue whole snorkeling. It’s kind of like when you have any problems you just sent message to him.m
We've just returned from a nine night stay at Amilla, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The island is beautiful and pretty large by Maldivian standards - large enough that bikes are provided upon arrival, and our boys (age 8 and 6) loved riding along the jungle paths. We stayed in a reef water villa, and the room was exceptionally spacious and comfortable, with a good-size pool on the deck. Having the reef right outside the room was amazing, and we saw a good variety of marine life while snorkelling, including turtles, sharks, rays, and even an octopus. We were very impressed with the quality of the food at each of the restaurants, and the Maldivian Night buffet on the beach was a lot of fun. If there is any constructive criticism to be given, it would be that the options for kids were a bit limited, as the kids' menu was largely the same at each restaurant (Japanese restaurant aside). It perhaps would have been nice if there were some more choices unique to each restaurant, but this is a minor point and the options that were available were very good. I think what truly elevates Amilla above a lot of hotels we have stayed at is the superb level of service we received across the resort. Every staff member we encountered was, without exception, charming and helpful, and it really makes a difference to the overall experience when the staff appear to genuinely care about the guests' wellbeing. It is perhaps a bit unfair to single out individuals when we received excellent service from everyone, but special mention to our butler, Asad, whose friendliness and efficiency really contributed to a relaxing, stress-free stay. We really appreciated the proactive way he checked in with us to ensure we had everything we needed, and kept us informed of the schedule of activities. We'd also like to say thank you to our housekeeper Pilu, whose towel animals delighted our boys each day, and to Kauser who really made an effort to entertain the boys at the pool. Overall, it was a truly memorable holiday, and we very much hope to return in the near future. Highly recommended.
We had a wonderful experience! Many thanks for our butler Ammaty, for the excellent service! Recommended!
First, I would like to express my gratitude to Asad, Firdavs and Alexandra. The three of them are incredibly kind and hospitable. Thanks to them, I had a memorable birthday celebration. Additionally, the staff here are very friendly😄Besides, the photographer and the boss at the photo studio are also extremely nice and helpful. The scenery is absolutely stunning. That said, we get bitten by insects every day, which has left us with many mosquito bites all over our bodies😨.I also suggest hiring a Chinese chef, as the local food does not suit Chinese tastes, haha. --From Wang
As the island we chose for Madai, the island of Amira was initially chosen because of our curiosity about snorkeling and our satisfaction with the island's environment. During the seven-night vacation we ordered, both the butlers and staff on the island made me feel at home, especially our housekeeper, Mr. Asad, and a staff member. Ms. Alexandra, they can give us some surprises every day. Since the restaurant's breakfast is different every day, I always wanted to eat my favorite Katsu three days before I left the island Sando, unfortunately, it has not been there for those three days. I am very sad and regretful when I am about to leave the island, but Ms. Alexander helped me negotiate with the restaurant and I ate the last morning before leaving the island! Extremely delicious! Thank you so much and moved! ! ! Our butler picks us up every day with high spirits. He himself is very humorous and witty. To be honest, if I choose next time, I will choose Amira Island again. It is much better than I expected, and the scenery is also very beautiful. This is indeed a paradise for snorkeling lovers, and it is even friendly to beginners. From the water villa No.107 we live in, it is a coral reef. I have seen a lot of fish in the Indian Ocean, turtles, sharks, etc.The only downside is that I think I can introduce more Chinese food on the island, and add deworming services to each room every day, because many bugs are invisible to the naked eye during this period, which has caused me to be bitten every day.
My wife and I visited the Maldives for 4 days in April 2026. It was our first time staying at Amilla Maldives, and the overall experience was truly wonderful. We arrived at Velana International Airport (MLE) at 11:35 am on 5 April. After immigration, we received a warm welcome from the hotel representatives Arisha and Abaan. They assisted us with seaplane check-in, while we relaxed at the Amilla lounge. Everything went smoothly, and we reached the island after a 30-minute seaplane transfer. The resort is located in Baa Atoll. It’s a natural, beautiful island where you can see birds, bats, and insects all around. We stayed in a Water Pool Villa, which features a private overwater hammock. The room was spacious and stylish. However, we noticed that the outdoor wood tiles looked a bit old, with sharp edges exposed. The food at Amilla was exceptional, especially breakfast at Fresh. A special heartfelt thanks to Firdvas and Mansi for making our dining experience truly enjoyable through their wonderful service and attention to detail. Dinner at Feeling Koi was amazing—we enjoyed the sunset while tasting the famous lobster dish. The lobster was incredibly fresh, as it’s caught from a nearby reef. It’s honestly a must-try. Snorkeling at the reef was another highlight. I highly recommend the complimentary Blue Hole snorkeling tour. The moment we entered the water, we were immediately surrounded by schools of fish—it was breathtaking. A special shoutout to Sotti, who led the tour and ensured everyone’s safety throughout. He also helped us spot a wide variety of marine life, including boxfish, octopuses, turtles, and even reef sharks. Don’t forget to join the night snorkeling, sandbank visit, and dolphin tours—they also created special memories for us. Finally, we would like to thank our island host Hajar and her manager Faalih, who arranged everything for us and helped make Amilla feel like home. Amilla is truly a paradise, and we loved exploring the reef with the chance to experience so much marine life up close. That said, the room does need a little maintenance!
A terrific all round experience. I have been several times to the Maldives and the Amilla was perhaps the best I’ve been too. The pool villa we had was of the highest standard in terms of appointment, comfort and privacy, whilst the choice and the quality of the food was outstanding. All of the restaurants served food of the highest quality and variety. cannot over-emphasise this. The location is spectacular and due to the relatively small number of rooms, you got the impression that you had the island to yourselves. Snorkelling was superb in terms of the variety of locations and of course the array of fish and attendant colours. We went with two pre-teens for whom there was plenty to do, including a very active kids’ club. Perhaps above all was the quality of the staff and service. It was unparalleled in my experience of the Maldives. Unusually from my experience of other resorts, staff numbers, including those frontline, outnumbered guests so that fact plus the incredible and friendly “nothing is too much trouble” attitude that all the staff demonstrated made for a memorable holiday. I cannot recommend the Amilla highly enough, weather for a couple or for a family. Holidays to the Maldives do not come cheap andcthe Amilla is no exception. But if you are spending significant sums to go to the area, then the Amilla, in my opinion, offers a wonderful location.
We stayed at Amilla for our 2nd wedding anniversary in March 26 - what a pleasant experience! With so many resorts to choose from when deciding where to stay in Maldives, we chose Amilla. It stood out to us because there were so many amazing reviews about its hospitality and especially catering towards vegetarian/gluten free food! Let's say we were not disappointed! It was an amazing experience from the room, to the food, to the daily activities which kept us busy! As first timers in the Maldives, this is best introduction we could have had. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Our butler, Ammaty was incredible from the first day, ensuring all our needs were met! He was incredible and we could honestly not thank him enough. He made sure our food reservations were always done ahed time, if we needed anything no matter how last minute, he was always accommodating. Always greeted us with a smile! Special mention to Chandra, who was incredible and made sure I did not miss out of any of the incredible food choices at the restaurants with being vegetarian / gluten-free! The breakfast waiter crew were also so friendly and accommodating! We were always greeted with a welcoming smile each morning and catered for every single time. All the staff at the other restaurants were friendly and welcoming, a special mention to Nafees. As a whole our experience was amazing. Our room was clean with everything accommodated for. We had the lagoon pool water villa which was spacious and very modern looking. Our room attendant was so friendly, and made sure our room was clean each night. We also came back to surprises a couple of nights with some bed decorations which was so thoughtful, especially on our anniversary night. The little touches at Amilla made it such a personal and beautiful experience for us as first timers in Maldives. We will definitely be coming back to Amilla soon. Anyone looking for an incredible personalised experience, where all your needs are catered for then Amilla is the one. You will leave the resort feeling pleasant and wanting to come back. It is definitely a home away from home
Had a wonderful time and enjoyed the exceptional service of Nappe. We highly recommend Amilla!
The experience at Amilla was very nice, everybody is very kind helping the guests in all ways possible, allergies as an example. Our butler was amazing helping anytime and being available anytime and anywhere our whole trip long (Thank you Asad). To put it into one sentence the time at Amilla was very fun and we had a great time.
Overall Wonderful and amazing experience. It was our dream to visit Maldives atleast once. And we were so glad we choose Amila resort. Our personal butler Miss Hajar was amazing. She looked after our every needs and was very helpful. She even suggested many things to do in island which was very helpful. Food at all the restaurants was amazing. We also got delicious Indian food (especially Dal). All the staff members are very helpful.and always smiling. Each staff know our names and made us feel like home. Our kid also loved there..she had an amazing time in kids club with Risa. We stayed at Lagoon water villa and it was awesome..view from the room is outstanding. Room service and cleaning is also upto the mark. Overall a great experience..will definetly visit here again in future..
I’m in a wheelchair and it was tricky. Their idea of accessible is very enthusiastic staff who will lift you everywhere. There is no access to the main pool/sun beds/certain restaurants tables without going across sand and no hoists available in suites for the pool/ poor shower chair. All the above easily fixed by either permanent slatted pathway or removable carpet strip. Better height adjustable shower chairs cost next to nothing. In Antigua we had an overturned pathway of carpet out to reserved sun beds and they ensured I could get everywhere else independently. Paths around the island were fine for me as I’m fit but for many would be tricky. Staff amazing, island stunning, snorkelling beautiful, fishing productive and ocean suites spacious. Shout out in particular for Hamsha, Sotti, Simba and Ammaty.
We had the most wonderful honeymoon at Amilla Maldives. From the moment we arrived, everything felt special. The Reef water pool villa was stunning, offering complete privacy and breathtaking views, while the staff went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. The food was exceptional (the Japanese restaurant is Top!), with a great variety of options. We especially loved the peaceful atmosphere and the beautiful surroundings—it truly felt like paradise. We left with amazing memories. We are also so grateful for the dedication of our Butler (Katheeb) Bella who truly made our honeymoon unforgettable. From the very beginning, he was incredibly attentive. Every detail was handled with such care—e.g. organizing our daily plans - that made our stay feel extra special.
We’ve stayed at Amilla for the past 4 years, and our first visit was truly exceptional. It felt like a hidden gem. Beautiful and relaxed. The water is absolutely stunning, clear and blue. Which makes it even more of a shame that a place with such beauty is being managed so poorly. Unfortunately, things started to decline 3 years ago, after a change in management, and despite another recent GM change, the experience hasn’t improved in any way. One very serious issue occurred last year when our friend was sexually harassed by a staff member. To their credit, management acted quickly and the staff member was dismissed immediately. We spoke to their female staff and they admitted that this person who harassed our friend also harassed other female staff members on that island before. So, this should have been already taken care of before it escalated. The fact that this happened is extremely concerning. Another ongoing issue is the mosquito situation. It is honestly one of the worst we’ve experienced in the Maldives. Despite being told the island is regularly treated and sprayed, the problem persists. Last year, I had a severe reaction after coming into contact with caterpillars, which resulted in a full rash along my arm. There was little support or compensation offered at the time. This year, I was bitten again, this time on my ankle, showing that the issue is still not under control. What made this even more obvious is that we went to Milaidhoo immediately after, where there were virtually no mosquitoes at all. Service and food quality are also highly inconsistent. At a seafood buffet priced at $150 per person (plus taxes), the mozzarella tasted rotten, which is unacceptable and potentially dangerous. The squid was extremely hard, and overall we ended up eating far less than we would at a normal restaurant, despite the high price point. It felt like very poor value. A particularly disappointing experience was a wine tasting we organized with friends we had recommended the hotel to. Instead of transparent pricing upfront, we were later charged $1,400 for what was essentially leftover cheese and bread (likely from breakfast), two $30 bottles of wine, and one $100 bottle. This was especially frustrating considering my husband had tipped the sommelier $200 on a previous trip and another $100 just before this tasting. It felt completely unjustified and, frankly, quite shocking. Another example of poor guest handling: while we were staying at Milaidhoo, our friends, who were still at Amilla, arranged a babysitter for 3 hours so they could visit us for lunch. They returned just 15 minutes late and were charged extra for it, despite having tipped staff generously beforehand. It felt unnecessarily petty and not in line with the level of hospitality expected at this price point. Overall, it’s disappointing to see how much Amilla has declined over the years. There is still potential, but the inconsistency, unresolved issues, and lack of genuine guest care make it very difficult to justify returning again.
Amazing place for my wife and I to relax. Service was off the charts the location can’t be beat.
Amilla Maldives is hands down one of the best resorts we’ve ever visited. The island is breathtaking, the service is warm and genuine, and every moment feels like a dream. We want to give a special shoutout to our amazing butler Asad—he was incredibly helpful, patient, and proactive with all our requests. He anticipated our needs and made our vacation smooth, relaxing, and truly magical. 10/10, will definitely return!
We had a wonderful stay at Amilla. Our butler Asad was extremely thoughtful and attentive, arranging all meals and activities efficiently and professionally. My mother celebrated her birthday during our stay and was pleasantly surprised all day, which made her very happy. All hotel staff were friendly and professional. Yaomin at the dive center taught us many great tips. The food was good and the restaurant service was attentive. A Chinese menu would be more convenient for Chinese guests. We stayed in a Reef Villa with direct access to the water. Amilla truly deserves its reputation as an A-class snorkeling island.
Wonderful CNY trip at Amilla We spent an unforgettable Chinese New Year at Amilla with my family, and it was absolutely perfect in every way. A huge shout-out to our amazing Buddy—so attentive, warm, and thoughtful. He pre-booked our dinners for every single day as soon as we arrived, and was happy to adjust if we wanted to try different restaurants. The food at all the restaurants was delicious, with great variety and consistent quality. We booked the Blue Hole Snorkelling and Dolphin Discovery tours, and both exceeded our expectations. At the Blue Hole, we saw sharks and turtles up close; during the dolphin cruise, we encountered dozens of playful dolphins alongside stunning sunset views. The resort itself is stunning. The pavilion by our beach villa was so peaceful and cozy, and the overwater villas boast incredible marine life. We could even spot sharks and manta rays just standing on the jetty. Everything was well-organized, the service was heartfelt, and the nature here is truly magical. Amilla gave us the most wonderful family holiday—we can’t wait to come back!
Our stay at Amilla was amazing. The island is beautiful with crystal-clear water and great service. A special thanks to our butler Asad for his thoughtful and attentive service throughout our trip. Highly recommended for a quiet and enjoyable vacation.
Firasha immediately took care of us at the Male airport. She's been available and helpfull each time we called her. She's also very friendly. Amilla Fushi is a gorgeous hotel/island. Each member of the resort is efficient and very kind. Villa 502 with private pool is wonderful and very clean thanks to Dudu who was always ready to help. The environment is very quiet and pleasant. The breakfast offers a incredible variety of fruits, breads, eggs, smoothies, fruit juices, beverages, etc etc We also appreciated each and every restaurant. Feeling Koi was our favorite one.
Our stay at Amilla Maldives was magical! The resort is breathtaking, but the true highlight was our butler, Asad. He was incredibly attentive, professional, and went out of his way to make our trip seamless and unforgettable. A huge thank you to Asad for the amazing service! 🌟
We had an incredible experience at Amilla. It was hands down our favourite vacation we have done. Everything was perfect and our butler Ammaty went above and beyond to mar our stay perfect. We are already trying to figure out how to go back!
Very good experience, the water is clean, and the butler Asad is very warm.
Has been one of the most amazing experiences we have been involved. To travel from South America to Maldives (it is a very long trip) has open our eyes to realize no matter how far it can take to get to the paradise, it worth it... From our recievement and the treat from Asad, we need no movement to do at the whole stay. Everything and everyone was supposed to take tka eof us.. and they did just that... and the food was amazing.. keep that in mind.
We an incredible week at Amilla for the February half term. What makes the island so special is the incredible staff who work there. Our butler Buddy was always at hand - so kind and efficient. The F&B team were truly amazing, especially individuals like Saru who sets a very high standard. They were all happy and helpful, remembering little details and preferences that we had as a family and making us feel very special. We loved hearing stories of their own lives and how much they enjoy working at the hotel. The food was exceptional with a large choice, meaning we never bored of the menus.. breakfast was a highlight with staff cutting fresh fruit for us every morning and remembering coffee preferences. The house reef is beautiful - very full, lots and lots of stunning sea life including turtles, sharks and eagle rays. The resident marine biologist Luiza took us out snorkelling and entranced our children with interesting information about the conservation work they are doing. We also had fun scuba diving and fishing outside the reef. This was our fourth visit to the Maldives and our best resort so far. We will be back. Thank you
During the holiday, my family and I came to Amilla. The island is very large and has many beautiful plants. As soon as we arrived on the island, the butler Ammaty warmly received us, showed us around the island and provided us with rich information about activities. We only needed to inform Ammaty of the dinner and activities we ordered every day, which was very convenient and we didn't have to worry all the time during the trip. The experience was great! The food was excellent, with a Chinese flavor, and they even prepared a special Chinese New Year dinner for us. We were very lucky to see dolphins, turtles, octopuses and so on on the island. The privacy between the rooms on the entire island is very good, it's very quiet and the scenery is wonderful. We only stayed for five days this time, but we felt that it was not enough. We will come again next time!
We stayed here for one week and it was the best holidays I ever had experienced. The staff is so friendly, the location so perfect and the food is amazing. We will come back next year again. Special thanks do Assad, Mode & Alexandria.
We booked a Sunset Water Villa for 5 nights. The villa itself was spacious, spotless, and featured a generously sized terrace with a private pool. Watching the stars in the pool at night was truly magical. Our butler, Jeremy from China, took wonderful care of us throughout our stay. We had many sea excursion and restaurant reservations, and he carefully reviewed our schedule in advance. Whenever an issue arose—such as the door lock running out of battery or a billing error—he responded immediately and coordinated with the relevant staff to resolve it. His attentiveness made us feel relaxed and as comfortable as being at home. Our housekeeper, Yousuf, was equally dedicated. He kept our room impeccably clean, replenished amenities promptly, and even prepared thoughtful little gifts for us. He went the extra mile by folding a beautiful manta ray out of towels for our friends’ room. These small yet heartfelt gestures truly touched us. The island’s natural environment is beautifully unspoiled. We would occasionally spot small lizards along the paths, see herons flying overhead, and observe schools of fish and numerous crabs right by the beach. The white-tailed tropicbirds and Asian koels added extra charm to the seaside atmospher. We booked scuba diving, sandbank excursion, and a dolphin-chasing trip. The staff were all warm and professional, and the dive center team prepared our equipment with great care each time, allowing us to conserve our energy for exploring the ocean. As for dining, for Fresh restaurant we would suggest offering more options tailored to Chinese tastes, perhaps by sourcing some local semi-prepared ingredients, as some dishes were not that good in flavor. The freshly squeezed juices, cereal mousse, and curries at breakfast were excellent, different choices are available each day. The pizza bar and East restaurant both delivered outstanding flavors. We sincerely thank every member of the staff for their warmth and dedication, which made our holiday so relaxing and memorable.
Everything thing is excellent, location, atmosphere ,rooms cleanliness, service, everything super 👏👏.Ammaty was anaxtrairdinary person who made every moment more special.A truly unforgettable friend who made our adventure even more amazing.
Awesome experience snorkeling, scuba diving. Very attentionate and caring staff. Great food and with great variety
We had a wonderful holiday at Amilla. The staff are incredibly friendly, and a special mention must go to our fantastic butler Asad.He is so good with kids and always available to help whenever we needed anything. We like him so much and can't wait to visit again. Highly recommended!
Amilla is everything you see in the photos—the water is impossibly blue and the villas are stunning—but what really sets this island apart is the heart of the team. A special thank you to our butler, Asad. He didn’t just handle our requests; he anticipated them. From his warm welcome to surprising us with little touch, organising the cocktail party on the beach, pre-book different types of restaurants every evening , Asad made us feel like the only guests on the island. His warmth, professionalism, and genuine care turned a 5-star trip into a 10-star memory. If you are lucky enough to have Asad looking after you, you are in the best hands.
A 40-50 min ride from Male by a seaplane. You will be greeted by a wonderful staff crew. The villas are beautiful, kept impeccably clean; lots of fun activities on the island and in the ocean; great snorkeling in the surrounding coral reefs; food in the local restaurants is excellent with a variety of options from around the globe. And- a special thanks to Bella who worked with our large family and made the trip very special and memorable!
Our stay at Amilla was truly a once in a lifetime experience. The island itself is packed to the brim with vibrant life and convenient facilities to maximize the enjoyment of your stay. The thing that surprised us most was the jungle gym right next to the shoreline which was more than able to satisfy us with our workouts. The villa provided is very spacious and easy to get used to which is a step up from other resorts we have been to. With Amilla also having incredibly friendly and capable staff and service, it was truly an enjoyable stay. Would recommend.
Our stay at Amilla Maldives was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, everything felt thoughtful, luxurious, and perfectly curated. The island is stunning, peaceful, and beautifully designed, offering incredible nature, privacy, and comfort. What truly made our experience exceptional was the service. Every staff member was kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. A very special thank you to Nappe, our butler, who was simply the best. He went above and beyond every single day, always available, proactive, and incredibly professional. Nappe truly made our stay effortless and memorable. Amilla is a place we will always remember and would love to return to. As a small suggestion, it would be wonderful if Amilla offered magnetic souvenirs (fridge magnets) featuring Amilla Island, as well as beach bags with the Amilla Maldives name or logo, so guests could take home a beautiful and practical keepsake from such a special place.
My wife and I visited Amilla on our honeymoon and it was the most splendid time ever. We cannot thank the staff and the people of Amilla enough. They are some of the kindest people I've ever met. Everyone always greeting us. Our Khatib, Nappe, was incredibly helpful. Whenever we needed something, he came through like a champ. Our cleaning staff led by Yousef were likewise super kind and generous, keeping our room clean and providing nice surprises that were really appreciated. It was truly a magical place to experience but above all else, it was the people at Amilla that made it more special than any resort we've experienced. Cannot thank them enough.
