The Calmtree Bungalows

Calmtree Bungalows are an oasis in the chaos of Canggu. The whole vibe is of calm hospitality. The bungalows are really nice rooms with an outside bathroom . The bathroom even had its own mini jungle! The bungalow had a lovely big veranda with a bench / bed and table and chairs to chill. It was very private. All the bungalows look out to the pool , so you can easily go back and forth to your room, when you're having a pool day. The people who work at Calmtree are all so friendly and helpful.Service is excellent. The breakfasts are delicious.The granola and muesli with yoghurt and fruit are amazing! The cocktails are good too. ( Not for breakfast!)The whole environment is gorgeous, with beautiful gardens and lovely flowers.I loved it!

I absolutely loved Good Karma Bungalows.If you like a chilled vibe, then this is the place for you! But if you like a chilled vibe, Canggu will not be the place for you!

Kamer en uitzicht waren heel goed. Zwembad was ook goed. Leuke uitgangsgelegebgeden in de buurt.

Het is een rustige oase midden in het centrum. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en staat altijd voor je klaar. Mijn klamboe was kapot en dezelfde dag was het nog geregeld.

Had er persoonlijk geen last van maar er zijn vrij veel beestjes in en rondom de bungalow. Daarnaast omdat je in de stad zit hoor je wel het geluid van buitenaf.

Perfect location, nice and quiet down an alley away from the Main Street chaos. Clean, comfy room and gorgeous outside bathroom. Would absolutely stay again!

Outdoor bathroom with mosquitos wasn't the best. couldn't keep the windows open because of the mosquitos.

We loved the pool and spent a lot of time there. The bungalow concept and the peaceful, nature-inspired atmosphere were also lovely. Everything was very clean, both the rooms and the common areas, and the staff were always friendly and welcoming. The Wi-Fi was excellent and very strong throughout the entire property, including the bungalows, restaurant, and pool area. Breakfast was tasty, and the sandwich we tried was also very good. We also really appreciated the homemade shampoo, body wash, and mosquito repellent provided in the room. The location is great as well, just a short walk from Love Anchor.

There were quite a lot of mosquitoes. However, the property regularly carries out mosquito treatments and provides both room spray and body repellent, which we really appreciated. The bed felt a little small for two people, although this may be specific to the room type we chose. The pillows were also very high and caused some neck discomfort — having one lower and one higher pillow per person would be more comfortable. Lastly, the mosquito net around the bed didn’t close completely, which was a minor issue considering the number of mosquitoes.

Pas d'insonorisation dans les chambres. Bruits de l'avenue principale toute la nuit. Bien placé pour aller faire la fête mais pas pour la quiétude !!! Douche à refaire.

Die Lage in Canggu war gut, alle Restaurants, Cafés, Geschäfte und der Strand fußläufig zu erreichen.

Leider war unser Bungalow nicht gut gesäubert. Im Bad lagen noch lange schwarze Haare in der Dusche und auf dem Boden.

Bonne situation, à moins de 15 minutes à pied de la plage, bungalow confortable, belle piscine et bon petit déjeuner.

Prévoir des bouchons d'oreille si comme moi vous êtes sensible au bruit la nuit.

L'hôtel est très bien entretenu (superbe jardin avec beaucoup de végétation et de fleurs), personnel présent et accueillant, très charmant espace piscine, bungalows au charme authentique, bon petit déjeuner, offre de snaking et de cocktails appréciée en journée. Emplacement dans une petite rue plus au calme mais situé a proximité du centre ville de canggu.

Comme c'est des bungalows on entend un peu de bruit le soir des bars voisins.

Super schön eingerichtet und die einzige Unterkunft von allen bisher, welche so aussieht wie auf den Fotos. Das Frühstück war vielfältig und auch echt lecker. Das Personal war immer auffindbar und zudem sehr freundlich. Ich habe es dem Personal auch persönlich gesagt. Es war eine gute Zeit hier!

Die offene Toilette war etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber das ist keine eigentliche Kritik. Ich konnte es ja auf den Fotos schon sehen.

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad. De accommodatie is sfeervol opgezet en de kamers zijn comfortabel en verzorgd. De ligging is ideaal: leuke winkeltjes, gezellige restaurants en het strand liggen allemaal op loopafstand. Het personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk en gastvrij, waardoor we ons direct welkom voelden.

Eigenlijk niets. We hebben een erg prettig verblijf gehad.

Een oase van rust midden in de drukte van Canggu. De familie is vriendelijk en doet er echt alles aan om je verblijf comfortabel te maken. Fijne bedden. Super ontbijt, vers gemaakt en heerlijke koffie!

Eigenlijk geen minpunten. Het is niet heel groot maar dat is juist prettig en persoonlijk. Canggu zelf vonden wij tegenvallen (druk, slecht voor voetgangers en strand is niet zo mooi). Wel goed voor surfen, veel winkelen en lekker eten. Het was heerlijk om je terug te trekken in deze oase.

Très calme et pourtant à deux pas d une route très fréquentée de Canggu. Cadre enchanteur, bungalows super mignons, lit très confortable, salle de bain originale à l extérieur tout en étant cache des regards. Petite piscine très agréable quand il n y a pas trop de monde. Excellent petit déjeuner.

Mooie fijne locatie

All of the staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help with anything we needed. The property is tucked away down a lane and had a very cosy feel to it. Our family stayed for 2 weeks and our family bungalow, the pool, accessibility to the beach and good restaurants as well as the daily breakfast provided suited us perfectly.

A huge thank you to all the staff especially: Maddy, Gusti, Wayami, Doki and Coki. Everyone, was friendly, courteous, polite and did everything they to make our stay enjoyable. The pool was always clean. The housekeeping staff cleaned the room everyday and put in fresh towels. The restaurant was excellent as it offers a great menu for breakfast and lunch. The price of the food and drinks was at times cheaper than outside and it tasted great. I also loved the clientele from all over the world and they were mostly families or Middle aged couples which suited me and my son very well. The Calmtree Bungalows deserves all the praise. La situation de l'hôtel est idéal pour visiter CANGGU, un peu en retrait ce qui évite le bruit des scooters et du trafic nocturne. La piscine était de belle taille et l'eau agréable. Excellents petits déjeuners, plusieurs formules proposées avec une très jolie présentation.

Our cabin was located perfectly - walking distance from main areas however it was far enough away to avoid any noise or disturbances. The gardens are beautiful and the pool and accommodation is very clean. Staff were attentive and friendly. Highly recommend this stay! Thank you

The hotel is truly a gem nestled in the heart of Canggu. It is a serene and tranquil ambiance, surrounded by lush greenery. I would definitely choose to stay there again

Only the bed, which is probably not the best part, is a bit hard. I guess it’s a preference between guests, and if you have limited mobility, it’s not recommended to stay here because there are some steps in and out the bungalow

Obiekt znajduje się w bardzo dobrej lokalizacji - bisko morza oraz wielu knajpek. Bardzo dobry stosunek jakości do ceny. Basen oraz zewnętrzna łazienka na wielki plus! :) Świetna i bardzo miła obsługa.

Grateful for a clean place, bed was great, outdoor bathroom great, good lighting and great breakfast. Good books to read. Perfect temp pool. Loved that you could lie down outside in balcony, hard to come by.

No kettle for coffee & tea in the room

This was our first stop in our travels around Bali and it was the best by far. I absolutely loved the bungalow. It really is an oasis of calm amidst the chaos of Canggu. The pool is lovely and it was so peaceful. The outdoor shower was certainly a novelty and we had a resident frog in the wall. Bed was large and comfy and water always available. There's a small mini market literally metres away for beers and snacks. The staff were always friendly and welcoming. Breakfast, although simple, was ample and very tasty.

Hidden gem with a lovely pool, delicious meals, and friendly staff. The Calmtree Bungalows shows a gentler side of Canggu, with respectful guests and excellent service. Perfect for return travelers looking for a tranquil retreat.

I liked the traditional bungalow style and the lovely pool. The gardens were beautiful and staff were super nice. When the air con didn’t work well they replaced it for us with a new one. We felt at home here and welcomed. It’s close to all the shops so you can walk or get a scooter..

There was some construction noise from nearby but it’s everywhere u go now
