The hotel was conveniently located for our meeting in Bottesford. The car park was handy. The Chinese restaurant connected to the hotel was great and convenient. Would visit here again.

Hallways could do with some tlc

We have stayed twice previously and this time we were not as happy as before. There seemed to be some confusion about the room booking. 0ur room was not cleaned from going in to leaving although we did have clean towels daily. There were cup marks still on the tops from day one - not good enough as you advertise luxury stays. The shower was a nightmare to use constantly dripping we had to put the shower head in the bath so we could not hear the noise from it.

The breakfast was amazing. The food was cooked fresh and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast room was exceptionally clean considering it was full the previous night for dinners.

I would have preferred a kingsize bed as this is more comfortable than a double. Thinner quilt for the time of the year would be beneficial.

This hotel is in a lovely town and so central much,much more, including Nottingham and Sherwood Forest. The rooms are great and the restaurant has to be seen to be believed, incredible food, amazing decor and a level of service seen so rarely in today’s age. Very highly recommended.

Lovely spacious modern room with great walk-in shower. Great location in a lovely market town with excellent on site parking. Breakfast was superb with locally sourced bacon and sausages, which were delicious! The staff were very friendly and helpful, would definitely stay there again if I’m in the area.

Boendet är ovanpå en kinarestaurang och frukosten serveras på restaurangen. Även om rummen var nyrenoverade så fanns det en märklig doft, möjligtvis mögel.

Really well-decorated. Staff so friendly and attentive. Breakfast and dinner starters were delicious. Mocktails from the bar were also really well made and care/attention to detail. Lovely ambience in general and we felt 'at home' but treated at the same time.

Downgraded the room due to admin error. Just a bit disappointing - price difference was settled but only when I raised it and we were looking forward to the King bed. Restaurant mains compared to starters were more average.

Hotel was absolutely stunning every detail was thought about very high quality decor and was detailed in the bedrooms. Jamie who met us at front desk was AMAZING he treated us so well he was so polite and kind. We Also had a meal at the restaurant which also was outstanding quality and very well priced, the lady and the bar man where so attentive cant not fault this place perfect in everyway

I think for other people there is quite alot of stairs, they do have a lift to the first floor but still a few more steps to second floor wasn't a issue for us

Location is excellent friendly helpful staff

The welcome from the receptionist was outstanding and set the tone for our stay. Our room was comfortable and well equipped. We loved the watercooler provided for guest use - during a heatwave it was much appreciated. Our breakfasts were, quite simply, the best we've had in any hotel!! There were loads of usb charging points in our room, which we found very useful. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, but the receptionist on our arrival was truly outstanding!

Lovely staff. Handy location in the centre of town. Pretty decor in the bedroom, with plenty of plug and charging points. Provided a good fan. Breakfast was delicious.

Shame that the bed and sofa bed were uncomfortable. The sofabed was really squeaky! Will be nicer when the bathroom is finished and isn't a work in progress. As it stands I don't feel it was worth the price unfortunately.

Lovely meals, both breakfast and evening. Excellent quality and value for money. The hotel did everything they could to mitigate the extreme heat. Good selection of well kept draught beers. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. Comfortable beds.

The staff were excellent, especially Liam who kindly gave every assistance they could in the recent heatwave. Nothing was too much to ask for. A great place in a lovely town, so convenient for the cricket at Trent Bridge.

Greeted with a smile, room spotless. Bed comfortable. Breakfast options good, mega plus allowed me to bring my dog into dining area, so no stress from either of us. Only rule under table and not on furniture, totally reasonable request. Violetta on reception fab, considering I managed to lock myself out within the first 5min of arriving. Trying to get bags, dog, dog bed inside, but door closing with key inside room was not in the plan. Just a smile and had me sorted within min. Didn’t try restaurant this time, but hopefully next time.

Fantastic breakfast and bed was really comfortable

Noisy but that’s because it was hot so I needed the windows open and a Saturday night so closing time was a bit noisy- not anything the hotel could do about though

Breakfast was very well presented - a good variety and selection of all types of breakfast, they were very happy to accommodate fussy eaters too :) Room - it was extremely hot weather when we visited, and being on the top floor the ventilation was poor. We had two fans in the room, and it still wasn't enough so I had to keep the door ajar to get a breeze through - it's not to do with the room, just the weather! The restaurant was absolutely lovely! the food was amazing, would love to go back for those delicious "drunken prawns!" Staff were very helpful and accommodating. The EV charger was available when I needed it. Also there is a gorgeous little lounge which was perfect for relaxing in the evening.

The cleanliness in the room could have been better. In the hidden areas, eg behind the blinds, and skirtings etc, was dusty and cobwebs, a few bugs and at least one spider... could do with a deep clean. The maintenance is old but functional, could do with a modernised bathroom. Nothing major that interfered with our stay or comfort level.

A good small hotel right in the centre of Bingham. The parking is a real plus. Breakfast was delicious.

Well-located hotel in the centre of Bingham, easy to drive to and park. Cosy and comfortable room, friendly and helpful staff, and a great breakfast in the morning - all at a good rate!

Whilst the room had been done up very well, it seemed like the bathroom had been forgotten about. Although at first glance it seemed clean enough, the tiling in the shower area looked a little grotty, which was a bit unappealing.

Location perfect . The restaurant underneath was lovely , food delicious , staff polite , clean rooms and comfortable bed . Will definitely visit again!

We arrived on Sunday and the Chinese restaurant was serving all you could eat freshly cooked food. it was delicious and very reasonably priced. It also had a really nice atmosphere. The room was fine, clean and well looked after.

Porridge was very thin. Toast more like warm bread. Very good choice of items but no fresh fruit

The location was good and the staff were fantastic. The car park was nice and roomy. Excellent breakfast.

The king size room wasn't very big. The TV kept flitting in and out making it impossible to watch anything. The hairdryer was wired into the wall socket across the other side of the room from the desk and the mirror. The toilet wasn't easy to flush and took several attempts before finally flushing. The light switches above the bed were too high to be reached without sitting up.

We had such a lovely stay , staff welcoming and friendly, room comfortable and clean with a good shower, loved the water coolers for keeping us hydrated, as well as oat milk in the room for coffees, brilliant location with everything near by , we ate at the chinese restaurant next to the hotel which was delicious , we loved bingham its a great place for a little break and plenty of countryside walks to blow away those hangovers.

Excellent value for money, room was clean and warm . Breakfast was very high quality ingredients and no problem with us bringing our big ole dog with us. The bar looks like a banana splits set and this is a very good thing.

This place was so different from the outside, its unique decoration was very opulent. The room was warm and clean with everything you would need, the staff helpful too. The meal in the restaurant was of high quality and extremely tasty. Would definitely recommend.

The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice of cereals, pastries, preserves etc. The full English was really nice

No heating in the shower room and also no sink in there which meant you had to go into the bedroom to wash your hands

The bathroom was a bit dated and the room quite small for a double. It was a little noisy as we were on the roadside.

Fantastic. Easy check in, no fuss or drama. Always professional service. Breakfast is so calm, the lady who manages it is so focused on customer satisfaction and enjoyment, an absolute credit to you. It's my shame that she knows my name but I don't know herself.

Disappointed. The bathroom (and bathroom floor) really needs replacing, it was old and dirty, and I was reluctant to use it. I didn’t get towels in the room my first night and had to ask for them at breakfast the following morning (it was too late when I realised). The bedding was yellowish and there were stains on the duvet and pillows. I was looking forward to using the restaurant to find it closed on the first evening of my stay and then having to step over a large Alsatian to get to the restaurant the next night put me off eating there. I hadn’t realised that the hotel allowed dogs into the bar and restaurant. I thought I would enjoy my stay here - sadly I didn’t. All I look for from a hotel is a nice bath, clean bed and an evening meal and sadly didn’t get this here.

From check in to check out, our whole experience was fantastic. Prior to arrival I had completed the registration form, stating that I have difficulty with stairs. We had been given one of their accessible rooms. On arrival we were greeted by a very cheerful receptionist, who signed us in, gave us our key and instruction on where to find our room. Our room was of a good size, clean with a fresh smell to it as we entered it. Unfortunately there was feathered duvets on our beds, my daughter being allergic to these, she asked if it was possible to have a non-feathered duvet. Within the hour one was brought to our room. Breakfast in the mornings had plenty of choice, something for everyone. I highly recommended the sausages. We found that staff were always friendly, happy, cheerful and had a willingness to please their guests. We will defiantly be staying again on our next visit to the area.

The hotel is is a fabulous quirky mix of Victorian build but inside rustic oriental, warm , hospitable, refreshments, water filter machine available in halls to room, plenty of towels, soap and the room decorated in the quaint oriental style. The accommodation is extremely comfortable and food, excellent, the cuisine is cantonese here, the staff are excellent in their consideration of their guests. At breakfast, i came down to continental and a menu covering an impressive full English selection and other alternatives providing Gluton free and vegan if required. There was a gentle 'zen'music playing in the background. The hotel could benefit from a little re paint to certain areas but do you know, i think this adds to the quirky rustic-ness of it. I have another 2 days stay here this week and am so looking forward to the calm ambience of this hotel. Sandie

The hotel also is a restaurant so parking could be a little tight , having said that, the hotel does have good parking but the popularity of it means that it fills up on an evening pretty quickly. The hotel has an electric charger which is amazing and invaluable.
