Busby Hotel

The Breakfast was ideal and the range of food available was also ideal, It was not crowded at any time and the atmosphere was good. No adverse comments about the Breakfast.

The accommodation was as we expected, our only suggestion is the increase in size of the hand basin in the bathroom. No room to wash or wet shave and filling the kettle was only achievable by using the glass provided in the Bathroom.

Very clean, comfy bed, friendly staff. Breakfast was nice and good coffee! Walking distance from train station.

Workmen outside the window early in the morning making noise. I appreciate they had a job to do but we should have been forewarned.

Breakfast was very disappointing Tea cold Asked for 2nd pot of tea and hot water, luke warm Poached egg took 10 minutes longer to arrive than cooked breakfast. Maybe they were waiting for the very small hen to lay the egg! Cooked Breakfast was the cheapest of ingredients, tasteless, and very thinly cut, not warm either. No milk in bedroom and only one Tunnocks Teacake for two of us. One coffee sachet was already open.

Insufficient car parking spaces, despite being advertised as free and on site … indicating there’d be plenty. We arrived at just after 4pm so didn’t expect to have an issue! Quality of breakfast was poor, cheap sausages and very cheap bread… the price charged for the room with breakfast at £200 suggests otherwise. This is a hotel which I soon realised, caters for weddings, not couples/ guests looking for a quiet stay and base from which to explore.

The food and service was excellent throughout my stay. A rather large comfy bed was just what the doctor ordered at the end of the day. The room was exceptionally quiet which aided sleep. Check in was swift and easy. All the staff encountered during my stay were very warm, friendly and helpful.

The lift!! Very temperamental and odd. You have to press and hold the call button and hope the lift responds. Once inside you again have to hold the desired floor button throughout the journey to your floor. Having said that, it was a novelty and once you get used to the quirks it was straightforward.

I looked forward to my 3 rd visit to this very good hotel.i was not disappointed with the friendly atmosphere the staff provided on our overnight stay on the 24 th August. The reason for not rating achieving maximum ratings was the corridors en route to Room15 were in need of improvement ie (wear and tear)mainly woodwork . The floor in Room 15 should be repaired ( squeaky floorboards ) and the WC should be refitted . However these points would not stop another visit as the positive reception received always prevails , Many Thanks Donald & Allison

I think I covered this in my previous comments,the breakfast is good but I prefer a breakfast cooked and served by the staff .The buffet was good but like many, some items cooked were dry . You are not alone as we have stayed in many hotels and the majority serve a breakfast similar to yours.

Lack of a properly functioning lift system is a real draw back if you find stairs difficult. Also makes handling cases more difficult although we had the help of a very strong young man.

The staff were absolutely wonderful—very friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. A special mention to Sarah at reception, who was fantastic throughout my stay. She was incredibly kind, professional and very helpful with everything I needed. She really went above and beyond and made me feel very welcome. The hotel was comfortable and clean, and I genuinely appreciated the excellent service.

Abbondante la colazione, sia salata che dolce, tutto buonissimo. Comodo parcheggio per la macchina. Abbiamo trascorso un piacevole soggiorno presso Busby Hotel! Abbiamo anche cenato nel ristorante dell'hotel, atmosfera rilassata, luci soffuse, ottimi piatti. Esperienza assolutamente positiva!

La posizione non è vicinissima a Glasgow, avendo la macchina in 20 minuti si raggiunge il cento città ma senza macchina probabilmente non è la scelta migliore.

It ideally located a short train ride out of Glasgow. It was a quaint and quirky hotel with a lovely restaurant and bar.

The hotel is really nice, friendly staff, nice decor, nice to sit outside while enjoying a drink.

Absolutely loved our stay here! We travelled up to watch a concert and the hotel staff couldn't have been more helpful. From taxi numbers to bus routes they had it all covered. The breakfast was amazing too, everything you could ask for and delicious. Would definitely stay again!

Vlakbij treinstation Busby. Makkelijk om naar Glasgow central te gaan. Goede locatie voor doorreis. Fijn bad en bed.

Locatie werd 1 avond gebruikt voor een feest. Wordt ook wel eens gebruikt voor bruilofstfeesten. Als je daar niet op zit te wachten, kun je beter van te voren even contact zoeken. Wij wisten het niet van te voren en hadden 1 van de 2 nachten last van het lawaai van gasten buiten.

Beautiful building with lovely intermal decor. Room was pretty and spaceous. Well equipped.

All the staff were friendly and helpful. My room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was excellent. Although my business was in the centre of Glasgow, it was nice to break away and was a very easy train ride with the hotel only a couple of minutes walk from Busby station.

Although our room was very good the floor boards were very noisy and the shower head leaked.

Very, very pleasant hotel. Super clean and comfortable. Staff were cheerful, chatty and helpful. A 25-minute drive from the Glasgow galleries we wanted to visit.

Our room was very warm, even with the radiator switched off and the window open. We'll bring lighter clothes next time!

The breakfast was superb with a variety of cereals, fresh fruit, juices and toast along with cooked items including requests for bespoke items, eg. poached eggs. The shower in our room was fantastic, instantly hot and very powerful. Location was useful for my work appointments and it was only a short walk to the railway station, local pubs and restaurants. EV chargers onsite was also helpful.
