An oasis in the woods. Excellent place to get some time to relax. Staff have been excellent and the place is amazing. Highly recommended.

Relaxing place for a weekend get away

Highly recommend staying at this property. My husband and I stayed at the Maple cabin - one of the woodland cabins. It was modern, private and had a luxurious appeal. The bed was super comfortable. The bath tubs - both outdoor cedar tub and indoor soaker tub - were a treat! A disappointment - the restaurant at the property did not impress with their taste of their food. That is subjective though.

First visit there & we lived it. Stayed in the Phyllis cabin- so quiet & lovely. Breakfast was great as well.

Only negative was that the shower did not have hot water

Love this place and the staff but don’t tell anyone else please. Such a wonderful getaway. The outdoor tub is the best. Nespresso machinr is a + Eagle watching season during the salmon run was incredible! Pro tip: bring your own spices, oils etc for cooking. FIR/ MAPLE cabins- Undercounter fridge is enough for a small amount of food. I bring an extra cooler.

Amazing place to stay

Really beautiful place, but quite loud whirring sound at nighttime in the cabin and hard to sleep. Also, no closets/hangers in the sparrow cabin and difficult to hang wet raincoats/wedding dresses and suits. Also quite expensive per night.

We loved that it was dog friendly, comfortable bed, real fireplace and beautiful scenery. We didn't love that they didn't put prices on the non complimentary items in the room and it wasn't very clear what was included unless you went through your booking paperwork. There was also minor repairs needed for a handle on a cupboard that kept falling off and under the bathroom sink that had water damage. Otherwise it was a very enjoyable and relaxing stay.

The room was very clean and spacious . Quiet and beautiful grounds .. Front checkin staff were lovely as was our server at the restaurant . We look forward to another stay .

Friendly staff and clean cabin with amazing views. Comfortable size room for two and comfortable bed. WiFi was spotty but 5G was available. Restaurant on site offered great food. It was quiet and peaceful stay. I didn't play golf but it was still enjoyable and very relaxing. We loved this place !!

Beautiful cottage and grounds! Location is great. A bit upset the pool was taken away from the property - this was great for the kids. Check in procedure is clunky, the codes work well but waiting for staff to come to the check in counter (20 minutes) was crazy. Other staff in the golf pro shop were helpful but hotel check in person no where to be found right at 4pm check in time. No signs, no nothing. Really odd for a hotel. Staff aside, the place is great, quaint and will come back

What a lovely hotel, spacious rooms, comfortable bed, beautiful view, lots of parking, and a great set of brunch choices in the resort restaurant. This is a beautiful place to stay.

LOVED staying here! The only thing we didn't love was there wasn't a ton of nearby dining options and our dog-friendly cabin didn't have a kitchen so we couldn't make food, so that basically leaves the golf course restaurant. The food was great but it's just limited!

The view was gorgeous and peaceful, and the landscaping amazing! Bed and rooms really nice with super comfortable bedding. Restaurant was good, nice wine selection.

The property and cabin we stayed in was beautiful, clean, well-maintained and very Cozy. The fridge was full of complimentary drinks. We were very happy with everything! I definitely recommend coming to stay at the Rowena’s Inn. We already booked our next stay here for the summer-time 🤗

My husband and I really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and of course the stunning views. All the staff were friendly and helpful. A terrific place to unwind for a few days.

My bestie and I went away for a girls trip and right off the hop they were amazing! The cabin was so awesome, modern yet still had the regular vibes of a cabin, the staff is amazing and always doing what they can to reach out and help make your experience good. The food was top notch, the property was stunning. I have nothing but good things to say about our time there and I cannot wait to go back.

Very very clean property, peaceful nothing is disruptive the night staying and staff are very helpful. I had a special request to celebrate my anniversary and they got it done!

Such a beautiful property, I was very fortunate to stay there. I do have one recommendation: the pillows in my room (Betty Anne) were huge, great for lounging but nearly impossible to sleep on! Please consider providing a variety of pillow thicknesses. Aside from that it was perfect! Also, a shout out to the servers in the restaurant for their friendliness and prompt attention. The food was fabulous!

It was a night, but we stayed in a clean, quiet and comfortable accommodation and left. Most of all, my dogs like Sandpiper Resort here, so I have to stop by from time to time. Have the best day ever. Thank you. James & Celine

We booked a pet friendly cabin with the Japanese hot tub. I love the hot tub as our main purpose of this trip was to have a relaxing weekend getaway. The cabin is new and clean with beautiful scenery. It is about 20 min drive to Harrison lake and Harrison hot spring so the location was convenient for us.

Everything was so nice. Really enjoyed talking and seeing that the manager wasn't scared to get in and helps the employees with cleaning up. Only suggestion that I had was to place a couple sitting benches along the trails for people to sit and rest if needed.

Liked: Was really quiet at night. Cabin was nice. Beautiful property. Didn’t like: 1- The bed was below average. 2- Fridge and freezer did not keep drinks/food cold or ice frozen. Bag of ice melted in the freezer. 3- Seating not optimal for a romantic getaway. Separate chairs rather than a comfy couch or love-seat. 4- The workers that were landscaping were mildly intrusive, not only where they were working, (a lot around our particular cabin) but also the speed of the carts and the dust and noise they created while trying to relax on the patio. 5- No TV in the bedroom.

This place was amazing. Staff was great, cabin was great, food was great. Will definitely go back.

We had a great stay at Betty Anne's room in Rowena's Inn. The room was a good size and the King bed and pillows were comfortable. The aircon works very well. The bathroom could use a shelve or some hooks for us to hang clothes and used towels that are not ready for washing yet. We were also glad to get teh food vouchers that we can use when we eat at the clubhouse.

We went for our anniversary. This was our first time staying here we absolutely loved it. The staff and service was all excellent. We will be back again!

A beautiful site. Restaurant has an amazing view. Daryl took us on a tour around on a golf kart. Told us about history of the property and some recent happenings. Definitely highlight of our trip, a pleasant surprise. Will visit again!

great cabins

We stayed at Rowena’s for the first time last night and it will not be our last. We stayed in the Oak Cabin, one of the new modern cabins and I cannot emphasize how wonderful we found the experience. 5 stars plus. The food in the clubhouse was wonderful, the cabin beautifully appointed, the cedar tub on the deck amazing. The tranquillity and value of this inn more than justifies the Price. We will be back!!!

The restaurant food was amazing. Cabin were spacious, clean and had all the amenities. Staff was helpful and friendly.

We stayed in Betty Anne's room and really enjoyed it. It is super quiet, clean, and has a beautiful view. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful; we especially appreciated breakfast vouchers and complimentary coffee. There was one downside that we asked staff to look into (when you shower, there is a loud, unpleasant sound from the pipes), but otherwise nothing but an outstanding experience. We are looking forward to coming back when the pool opens!

It was lovely inn, and beautifully decorated for fall. We were celebrating a milestone anniversary and we’re expecting a fine dining experience. The Rivers Edge Clubhouse had excellent food and staff, but not the atmosphere we where looking for.

Beautiful setting and buildings-- only downside was noisy group downstairs that wanted to party all night. Unfortunately, this is a too common occurrence these days with the me generation.

New cabin with nice aminities. Swimming pole closed and construction on site

Took almost 15 min. to find office staff at check-in; had to get pro shop staff to look for them. Lots of construction going on, so had to park some distance from cabin, hard to load and unload. Also, roads and paths around cabins very muddy, especially during rain. Have been here before, and had a much better experience. Will not return until construction is complete, probably 6 months from now. Clubhouse restaurant is still very good.

We recently spent one night in a two bedroom cabins. The cabin was beautiful and extremely clean. The front desk staff were courteous and helpful and the restaurant staff provided wonderful service. The cabins are located in a very peaceful and quiet environment which provided the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. Overall, we really enjoyed our one night get away!

I have always loved the property, the view and the atmosphere. Great food, great service and top attitudes.
