Hôtel Première Classe Chartres Barjouville

This is our 2nd or 3rd stay here on the way to the Dieppe/Newhaven ferry. It is ok for a quick stopover and they are dog friendly too. This time the noise from adjacent rooms was pretty bad, although not necessarily the hotel’s fault. The soap dispenser in the shower didn’t work well and the pillows were a bit uncomfortable. For €72 without breakfast ( which we’ve never had) it wasn’t fantastic value for money. We’ll probably try somewhere else next time.

We stayed here overnight on our way to Spain last year and again this year. It is clean and the location near an amazing bakery, restaurants and a large supermarket is ideal. I’d be happy to return a third year and I’d certainly recommend the hotel for an overnight stay to anyone else. The only criticism is that someone was living in a tent next to the hotel. He had a friendly elderly dog and shopping trolleys next to his tent with his belongings in. Whilst this wasn’t a problem, I’m surprised the hotel allowed it.

Franchement super hôtel très propre et agréable.

Chambre petite mais propre (on pouvait le sentir à l'arrivée). La salle de bain est assez grande pour ne pas se sentir trop serré. Accueil efficace et bienveillant. Bien pratique pour une nuit de repos en chemin vers le sud..

An excellent choice for a quick overnight stay en route to your final destination

Dommage que cette chambre (016) sente le tabac. Généralement les tapis de douche se réduisent et les oreiller sont trop mou, obligé de mettre les serviettes de toile tte en dessous Je dis cela pour le confort des clients, néanmoins je choisi vôtre hôtel chaque fois que je viens à Chartres car très accessible. This hotel is perfect for our needs whilst travelling to our holiday home in Central France. The price is good, the rooms are warm in winter and cool in summer and the breakfast is more than adequate.

Was very disappointed in stay this time room was on the ground floor by reception smelt of cigarette smoke and people put tables right outside bedroom window and sat drinking and smoking and was very noisy until late

Juste une difficulté pour trouver l'entrée de l hôtel. Arrivée hier vers 21 h , donc dans le noir , je n'ai pas vu de panneaux pour indiquer la route . Prévoir une balayette pour les toilettes serait bien. Sinon chambre confortable .

The hotel is usually very good, but on this occasion, we were given a room for disabled people?? Dont know why wasn't asked for. Bathroom sink very grubby.

Stop over for journey further south. Warm friendly welcome. Small room but clean comfortable ideal for 1 night stay. On bus route for easy access to Chartres centre well worth a visit. Lots of places to eat nearby. Great stay.

I had reserved via Expedia and on arrival the lovely lady at the desk saw I was using crutches to help me walk and without asking gave me a mobility assisted room. Excellent service.

The hotel was convenient to where we were traveling to. It's the second time we have stayed there. Very clean and comfortable.

Arrivée tardive donc enregistrement réalisé sur la borne. Sur le moment j'ai trouvé ça génial mais finalement un bug a fais que j'ai repayé ma réservation mais problème resolu le lendemain matin avec le personnel qui a très bien réagi ! En ce qui concerne la chambre avec vu sur le parking la luminosité est importante dans la chambre... Sinon chambre avec le nécessaire qui a parfaitement convenu pour une escale

Great stop over on our journey to Thiat . Choice at continental breakfast, pity no toaster this time . My only critique? Shower screen needs a really good clean at the bottom trim!!

Good hotel, have stayed several times before .However this time were given ground floor disabled room, good, bigger BUT, bathroom not good for able bodied. Sink, a bit stained and grubby, shower weak flow and flooded the whole room . The usual rooms we have had before have bern excellent, great powerful showers. Good fresh brekkie.

This hotel has a great location for a stopover travelling north or south. The room is the usual for a budget hotel. Small yet functional. Looking a little tired but good value for money. A couple more pillows would have been welcome. Lots of slamming doors at 0630 as a group were staying. The hotel didn’t seem busy, but I think all the guests were bunched together and thus it was a little noisy. Having said that, we would stay again.

Property was nice and clean. There is plenty of parking available and lots of places to eat very close by. Breakfast is very basic.. croissants Staff very helpful and friendly Only stayed 1 night, but pleasant enough.

Hotel simple mais avec de l'espace aussi bien dans la chambre que dans les espaces communs. Le système de réception automatique est bien pratique dans le cas où, comme nous, arrivons vers 3h du matin (mariage) ! Petit déjeuner très correct pour le prix (6.95€)

Always stay here on our journeys to and from Spain. It’s very handy and there is huge Le clerc supermarket next to the hotel for purchases needed. There is also a bakery and several other food outlets on site. Only negative comment this stay was given accessible room which we weren’t keen on

Good stay on way to Calais. Main problem with the room was it is directly on the road/roundabout and the traffic starts early!!!!! Had to have the window open as so warm in the room but gave up with that because of the noise. Also the light to illuminate the hotel sign was directly under our window. Ask for a quiet room away from roadside!

Great place to stop on way south from Calais. Lovely clean, modern hotel. Room was spacious and the en-suite was larger than expected and modern. Hotel was situated close to a few eating places and a large L'Eclerc shopping centre.

Très bruyant, beaucoup de bruit dans les couloirs a 2h du matin... avec un bebe de 2 mois la nuit a êtes tres compliqué. Un chewing-gum etait collé sur les escaliers du mur en mezzanine...

An excellent hotel in a very convenient area. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The receptionist was really helpful and carried my medical concentrator into my room for me.

We arrived late but it was easy to check in using the automated service. On the whole our room was clean however the shower cubicle was not and the TV remote control was disgusting to the point that I didn't want to touch it. We only saw one member of staff when we left and he was friendly and polite.

It was a fine place for an overnight stay, but certainly misses any charm. You can tell it is a spot for many male workers. As non-French speakers, it felt a bit unsafe.

Perfect stopover for our journey to Malaga

We have used this ideal stop over hotel a number of times on our trips south. Staff very helpful and polite. Rooms are basic and functional for a night stay.

This hotel is very very easy to find (close to the N10) and is surrounded by a variety of restaurants. It appears to be quite new - and does not have external circulation like older Premiere Classe properties. The rooms are basic but spotlessly clean and the buffet breakfast has a reasonable range of options. For the price, this is good value.

We would highly recommend. Cleanliness 10/10, staff 10/10, location 10/10. Plenty of restaurants and bars. Massive shopping centre with restaurants. Perfect for stop over. Don’t be put off by the price we stayed in nine hotels to and from Spain some triple the price but this was one of the cleanest. A credit to management and staff.

This is the best Premmier Class Hotel we have stayed at.

We stayed overnight on our way South, and overnight 2 weeks later on our way home.We had 2 rooms and breakfast, there are plenty of restaurants and also a retail park opposite.The rooms were clean and comfortable with air con which was necessary with the watm weather. Easy access to the main routes.

I have stayed in Premiere Classe properties before and so was aware of its probable facilities and layout. This one appeared to be completely new. It was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. Staff were very friendly. I would have liked to have seen more choice for breakfast. Otherwise - for the price - excellent.

Ideal hotel for a stop over. My room was hot and even though I turned the heating down it remained hot but with the window open it was noisy so difficult to sleep uninterrupted. However - ideally placed - clean and not expensive so I would use again.

Stayed one night as we were passing through. No one was at the front desk when we checked in an so we had to use the automated machine to the right of the front door. This was a little tricky to navigate. But after a few attempts we figured it out. Our room was clean and neat. It was quiet and within walking distance to several places to eat. Breakfast was basic-coffee, tea, breads, yogurt, etc.

We have stayed at Première Classe hotels in different towns before but this hotel is by far the best. The person on the desk was friendly and could speak English. The rooms were spacious and very tidy. This could be because the hotel is reasonably new. The location has restaurants close by and is close to the main road for quick access. A good value hotel and we will definitely stay here again.

I made a comment last time I stayed at the hotel about being put in a disabled room with a seat in the shower, why is this sorry to say the liquid soap is still a distance from the sink once you’ve used the toilet, sad to say I will not be staying at that hotel ever again.

Close to the motorway and in the middle of a shopping retail park/ area , also with lots of restaurants nearby. Dog friendly with a country park for dog walking a couple of miles away. Would recommend.

It is a nice, clean place. The problem was that if you arrive for check-in after 9 pm, you have to check-in through a machine, like an ATM. It should be stated on the reservation so that guests are aware and not to worry about contacting the front desk / reservations. We couldn't get our call through to reach the front desk / reservations to let them know we would be arriving past 9 pm which made us panic and think we wouldn't be able to check in even though we already paid for it. We had to contact the 800# of Hotels.com in the US to contact the hotel to find out what we need to do. Thank goodness for a live person who we could speak to! Anyway, as I said, it is like an ATM machine where you put your reservation or last name in and it spits out your room key and receipt. It was easy, but wished that was included on the reservations so that we didn't stress out. Once we did get in and to our room, all was fine. Nice, clean room, nothing fancy. Clean bed, towels and combo soap / shampoo dispenser in shower.

A little mix up at check in because if you come after the desk closes you have to use a kiosk and it required full payment even though hotels dot com had already collected full payment. In the morning the hotel offered to write me a check for refund ( in my non native currency which would have been a hassle) but hotels refunded it within a day. Room was comfortable but not terribly clean as there was mold in grout lines of shower and razor stubble around the sink. In the morning a man in parking lot followed us to car soliciting something and when we arrived in the evening our kiosk check in was observed by 9 men standing outside in nightclothes smoking, some smelled like alcohol. Okay to stay if you accept there is no supervision of activity. Bed was comfy, shower hot, mall across the street, a few minutes to Chartres.

Shower wer room floor angled so water came under bathroom door and a slightly distracting noise from the ventilation system. But the price is very low, water hot and the beds comfy. Perfect for a quick stop over.

Tend to use as stopover on way to and from Dordogne. Small and basic but clean rooms and close to restaurants to grab a meal. Breakfast also good for the money,
