Best Western High Road Inn

Very nice and quiet hotel. The pool, the water slide and the hot tub are great and cleaned regularly (we saw a little robot doing its job in the pool in the morning ;)

Staff was very friendly. Room extremely clean

Beautiful rooms, clean, good restaurant

Pub was great to have right there. The breakfast was awesome, compared to standard hotels.

Convient

Front desk staff when we checked in late night was very kind and helpful. We only stayed for a night but the room is comfortable.

For the price, everything was great 😊

Accommodating staff

Love the breakfast restaurant feature! Nice touch!

It was ok

The only thing that was not great - we stayed on the first floor (120), and there is tile right outside our door. In the am you could hear people walking on it - a few people had heels and that is what woke us, otherwise would have been 5 stars. Shoutout to Hungry Harry' Pizza - huge menu and quick delivery, after 10pm not much is open! Might be the best cheese pizza I have ever seen, great chicken shawarma and lazagna too!

Clean and quiet.

When we checked in, we were given keys to an already occupied room (surprising both us and the occupants as it was the middle of the night).

Nice little pub atrached too.

Very friendly staff, plenty of dinning options, and easy to get into and out of town. Best of all it includes a served breakfast - I am definitely coming back

Awesome staff

Carpet and decor dated. Otherwise nice facility.

The front staff were very helpful

You get your very own styled complimentary breakfast voucher for each guest :)

We had a lovely stay. My only complaint was that I couldn’t close the window blinds completely for more privacy. It only had a sheer curtain that closed all the way. The other two darker curtains were only decorative.

Would stay again!

Stayed while working in the area. Would stay again.

amazing visit

Great place to stay

Best hotel in Edson by far. Staff are very friendly both in the restaurant, hotel and bar. Breakfast was very good. Pool was fun for the kids!!

We’re always a bit anxious when we book somewhere to stay. They look great online, but are often not so great when you get there. This Best Western was really nice. It was clean and everything was well maintained.

Pillows are WAY to thick, like 3x normal pillows. Noisy when everyone leaving in am. Doors don’t soft close.

Great stay, I would stay again! The staff was awesome, food at the pub was good, we enjoyed the hot tub and our room was comfortable and clean.

The property was dirty and poorly maintained. Front reception made it feel like I was doing something wrong by booking through Expedia.

Staff was very friendly. Quiet and clean

The staff were very accommodating. We were allowed to check in early when we arrived in order to freshen up and change before attending a wedding. One of our rooms had a smell of smoke because of its proximity to a outdoor designated smoking area. The staff set up an ionizer to help.

The pool area was clean, friendly staff, restaurant attached to the hotel was amazing!!

I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean and friendly staff.

Great

Staff were not very personable. They were mediocre at best

Terrible service from front desk

Very clean and tidy. Good stop on the highway. Onsite restaurant does a good hearty breakfast.

Great staff!

Room servics knocked on our door at 8 am the first morning...

Efficient and friendly staff.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. It is nice to have a pub on the property. It is very quaint and inviting. The only negative was the breakfast. While it is an extra to have breakfast included, we found the eggs were very greasy and the scrambled eggs were dry and overcooked instead of fluffy and scrambled. However, the service at the restaurant is exceptional.

Great place

Great staff, clean rooms

Hotel is very nice & clean.

The room was sparkly clean. Beds were very comfortable, and the room facilities are very good as well. There is a mini fridge, microwave and a spacious counter to prepare meals. There is plenty of coffee in the rooms as well. Breakfast is served and they have 3 options to choose from, with one option either coffee or juice, we wanted juice so paid for it, not much though. It is not buffet. But the restaurant area is very nice and clean. Because we were delayed in our arrival the reception desk called us to make sure we were going to make it, so we thought it was a good gesture. There is plenty of parking. They have a nice size of a pool and a hot tub as well. We didn't get a chance to use it, but it is very clean as well. They also have coffee at the reception area.

It was amazing starting check in to check out

Noise travelled through the building could hear everything that was going on in everyone’s room.

Great price, clean room, clean pool, very good continental breakfast

Great people working here

Staff was very professional, clean and safe

Situated well and easy to locate. Dining on site or fast food nearby, drug store and grocery across the side street. Nice esthetics, pool and hot tub looked inviting, and staff were friendly and efficient. Hot restaurant breakfast included with the room.

Loved the pool and hot tub and the food ar the pub

Clean room, Comfortable bed. Pillows needs an update. Bathroom was excellent. Toilet is a bit close to the wall, but good !! Pool WAS AMAZING !!! We had a blast (2 Adults and 3 Kids) ... great depth.. warm water but not cold. Waterslide was amazing.. SO TALL. Loved the fact it was on a timer. Being the only family there this weekend, made the pool time much more enjoyable. Felt safe, Parked my truck - no issues, but also helped that RCMP, Firefighters we sleeping there as well :)

The staff were very accommodating. The restaurant attached to the hotel was amazing!

The hotel provided a beautifully laid out meeting room and was accommodating to our needs thank you BW Edson

I would stay here again

Jeannie from front desk was outstanding. Great place to stay.

I've stayed here before and had a great experience, but this particular stay was disappointing. Hot tub/pool was unavailable, TV remote was missing from my room so was unable to watch TV and staff was unable to resolve, hallway and adjacent room noise level in the room was unbelievable to the point where I got little to no sleep (slamming doors, could hear other guests showering, yawning, alarms etc).

Nothing to improve excellent hotel

Fast check in and breakfast was one of the best I’ve had at a hotel well done lots of parking and room was perfect loved the king bed

Very good

Great stay for one night on the way to Jasper. Room was good and nice to have fresh air with openable window. On site restaurant was exceptional. We had a great dinner there. And it was a nice surprise to have hot breakfast off the menu in the morning

Great place - clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful

A pleasant overnight stop

Very clean and comfortable. Hotel itself was quiet, but it is in a very busy area (this has pros and cons)

Too bad the water slide was not in service

Highly recommended. Comfortable rooms. Superb breakfast central location.

Great place to have a party and wonderful hotel. Loved the free breakfast!

The breakfast that was included was great. The hotel is conveniently located beside tourist centre, museum, grocery store, pharmacy.

It was a nice hotel but not outstanding.. Notices posted about thefts of Vehicles in parking area. Area was clean thought!

Great awesome

Three of four hotels on this trip advertised hot tubs. This was the only working one.

Nice hotel and food was good we enjoyed our stay

convenience

The walls our thin and not soundproofed. We were woken up many times in the night due to loud guests. We called front deks, which helped- but it seemed like a lot of drunk guests. Police were also at the hotel when we checked in. Pool deck is extremly slippery and chemicals in the hot tub were too much!

Great little visit An hotel , water side An hot tub , free breakfast An restaurant attached .

Upon our late check in .. our reservation through Expedia hadn't shown up yet and the lady was more then accommodating with helping us! Ur was super late, our kids were tired and she was absolutely awesome! The beds are so comfy, my kids loved the pool and the breakfast was delicious! I always love staying best western and will define continue!

The pool, hot tub and water slide are always great. Liked the breakfaat at the hotel restaurant. There were good choices and a nice change from a buffet style. Would like to see the bedding choices changed. Bring back the 3/4 pillows per bed and would love a more comfortable duvet sheet combo... one where it actually comes all the way up the bed!

Always a happy time

Good place to stay for, fresh breakfast and hotel restaurant.

Great bed, friendly staff and a good restaurant attached to hotel.

I choose the hotel on the Expedia as I filtered to get hotels with pools .. it was more expensive than other very good hotels around it and I was okay to get the chance to use the hotel .. the pool was out of service .. this is a misleading advertisement .. I could have stayed for less if the advertising was sincere ..

We had a nice stay overnight, the front desk people were great. The only item we were not happy with was the pillows. Very hard, both of us had the same problem. Even with the pandemic going on they gave us a lovely bag breakfast which was much appreciated. Thanks.

We were greeted by a very friendly receptionist and promptly found our room. The room was clean and beautiful, the beds were very comfortable after days of backpacking. We would stay again.

The room was very nice, big and open. The only small complaint we have is the pillows. They are very uncomfortable. We both had the same problem. The hotel is lovely and easy to find and we would stay again. Even with the pandemic going on they served us a bag breakfast that was very tasty. Thanks.

Great friendly experience. Everything is clean and pool was working which was very important to my girls and I.

We ended up cancelling our reservation as other accommodation came up.

Close to everything and very friendly employees and very good breakfast. Went out of their way to make sure the two couples were on the same floor

Great service, clean hotel, but a little loud in the morning with hallway traffic.

The only negative is don’t send a message with a request, never did receive a response. Everything else was great.

close to groceries and coffee shop, room were spacious the only thing is the air vent is loud and shampoo dispenser wasn't refilled.

Great staff, clean room - really enjoyed my stay here

Excellent service, excellent room. It was a pleasure staying at this hotel!

Where here for a wedding. Very nice clean accommodations. Staff very accommodating and friendly.
