The Green Hotel Koh Lipe

A good accommodation with friendly and helpful staff. Thanks. We'd come here again.

This place was great. I would stay here again.

I really liked this place it was centrally located so close to everything, but not too close to the main walking street that it was noisy. It's close to all the main beaches on this beautiful island. There is a mini mart agout 2 mins walk away. Everything else is within 5-10mins walk.

.

Nära till centrum

Great hotel, very friendly staff, close to everything- just a short walk to walking street and the beach.

Drains smelt when showering or flushing the toilet. Air con too loud. But location was great as was the front desk staff.

Eine Perle, zentral und doch ruhig gelegen. Perfektes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Sehr nettes hilfsbereites Personal.

Nice staff, very clean, great value.

Great stay

It was a nice quiet place to stay within walking distance to the bars

Pros: Perfectly located in middle of island away from noise, but near walking street and both beaches. Very clean and towels changed daily. Pool was usually empty and great for a swim at the end of each day. Despite it being 31° in the five days that we stayed we did not experience the bad smell outside that others have mentioned on Google. Reception only manned in daytime, not a problem for us, but if you are a needy type, take note. Bed was very comfortable, doubles on ground floor and twins on the first. Bathroom was small but adequate with hot showers at all times. I would recommend getting a pool side/view room as it will not face the road, which is not particularly busy, but motorbikes are noisy. Not really cons, but for a very small outlay, the hotel could be improved. For example, the plastic chairs on the balcony could be replaced by something nicer, a chair could be provided inside so that you could use the desk area, and most annoying of all, coathangers could be provided! Why provide a wardrobe if you do not provide hangers?

Nice and safe place to rest for 5 days. Had a garden room on the first floor. Very noisy from road traffic and heavy footed people upstairs. I wore earplugs and I was able to sleep. Super convenient walking to shopping and restaurants.

Dåligt städat. Unken lukt i badrummet! Önskade mer renlighet..

The staff were so helpful, room was great, aircon quiet, pool was clean and cool, perfect!

In our stay we enjoyed the pool when the weather was bad or when someone got sick. One pro was that we could get an extra bed for the kids. The hotel staff was very helpful specifically when we forgot our keycards in our room in the evening. The hotel is located very near the Walking Street and not far from Sunrise beach. We enjoyed our stay and we will be booking this hotel next vacation also.

Pros: central location - walkable to everywhere, nice staff, pool Cons: not near the beaches (although not a long walk either), have to take your shoes off at entry, bidet very strong and not able to be adjusted, wifi not working

La gentilezza dello staff, la camera e la piscina. Ottimo posizione, comodo per raggiungere tutto sull'isola.

Very nice and clean. Well located.

Hotel was clean as no shoes were allowed inside. Location a bit inconvenient as it's about 15mins walk to Walking Street and beaches and parts of the roads maybe flooded or muddy when it rains.. but of course you can hire a tut tut to take you around. Seems like the reception opens till 6.30pm only.

Good location walking distance to walking street and the three large beaches: Sunset, Sunrise and Pattaya. Cozy reggae pubs just outside. Only disadvantage is the system for wi-fi. A paper note with user credentials that fade after one day. Every time you leave the hotel - you need to re-enter credentials. And at nighttime the internet connection disappear completely…

Stylish hotel, friendly staff, we had great time staying there.

The Hotel was absolutely lovely and clean. The staff was really friendly. Thank you so much!

A new modern property centrally located. 10mins to most beaches and around the corner from walking street. Clean room, great WIFI and hot water too. I didn’t use the pool as the beaches are too good but it’s nice to have. Would definitely come back because of the location. All staff I met at reception and the man who took me to the boat were so nice and friendly.

Centraal in Lipe gelegen. Leuk zwembad. Goede airco. kluisje aanwezig.

We had a good time staying her and the staff was very nice and polite.

We really loved our stay! Both the pool and the rooms were clean, the personal were kind and welcoming and helped us with everything that we asked for. When we arrived at the beach they were there to meet us and drove us and our luggage to the hoteldoor. It's close to everything so you do not need taxi. The only downside is that the beds were hard and that it sometimes was a bit stinky outside on the evenings, not because of the hotel but from surroundings. The sench was not in the hotel however.

Hotel staff, pool, room, and Restaurant ! In middle of the island but perfect !

Great hotel, short walk to anywhere on the island. Had a great 1 week stay.

Great location for everything on the island. Pool is fantastic for relaxing

This was my second time visiting the Green Hotel on Koh Lipe, and I'm happy to say that I had no regrets about returning. Located right in the middle of the island, all 3 beaches are walkable in under 10 minutes, with walking street less than 5 minutes by foot. The room is very clean and not cramped or crowded; bed is a little firmer than I enjoy, but not unpleasantly so. The pool is very nice and well maintained, and long enough to get in some laps, if you'd like! Service was always helpful and came with a smile, and includes pick up at immigration office when your ferry arrives. The last time I was here in peak season (Jan) there was breakfast available, though this seemed not to be the case on this visit; if that's something that's important to you, double check before booking (though there are plenty of great breakfast options on walking street!)

Really lovely hotel, right in the middle of the island. Few mins walk for beaches and walking St. Young lady on reception was brilliant and couldn't do enough to help, she was really lovely. Unless you want a premium beachfront resort there is no reason not to stay here!! Only downside was a few dogs did seem to congrugate outside some nights, but were friendly, and are all over the island.

The staff were very helpful and kind. We really enjoyed our stay.

It was a wonderful day in the hotel I’m my experience

Room was oke. Bathroom was a little smelly. Breakfast was oke. Check in and out were fast.

Overall, a great stay. The bed was clean, and the room was comfortable. There were a fair amount of flies in the bathroom which was a little annoying, but otherwise I had no complaints would stay again!

Good and clean rooms.Good swimming pool, close to restaurants and beach, basic breakfast

Room was clean and indoor breakfast which away from flies and mosquitoes

I stayed here for 5 nights and overall thought it was a good choice on this island. The biggest disappointment was breakfast which seems to have been outsourced to the cafe directly next door - the 2 staff who were in charge of breakfast looked very bored and non-engaging. The limited selection of buffet food was left completely uncovered and with flies present this didn't appeal to me. Also the hot(?) food was just left in metal buffet trays for the 3 hour breakfast serving duration with zero heat source underneath even tho there are clearly places to put the burners - such a simple failure to easily correct IF they could be bothered. If you read other reviews you will see this issue mentioned by others months ago. Room service was fine apart from the fact for the entire 5 days the staff refused to change the shower floor towel even though it clearly needed to be changed - clearly they must be short on this particular item for some reason. I'd consider staying here again but only at a discounted price. If you are the sort of person who likes a good breakfast be prepared to buy one elsewhere - other than that the room was pretty clean and the air-con was good. The location is superb as it is just a short walk from Walking Street and all the main beaches.

We had a free night via Hotels.com so decided to spend it on our last night in Thailand. We are traveling on a budget so obviously anything with aircon and it's own bathroom would be fine...but this hotel exceeded my expectations!! Very clean, big spacious rooms that have free tea and coffee and other toiletries and supplements. Great adjustable air con, big clean outdoor pool, the ground floor rooms facing the pool have direct pool access too. The staff were all lovely and very polite. The First Lady at the reception upgraded us for free, and as we arrived a few hours early she offered to keep our luggage behind the counter with her. Highly reccomend!! Would definitely be staying again!

Great hotel, nice staff, very clean. Comfort room and awesome swimming pool. Only few minutes walk to Patthaya and Sunrise beach. No more than 5 minutes to Walking street. I can Fully recommend! Thank you again friends :)

Good location, set back from walking Street, close to all beaches. Clean and comfortable room. 3 out of 5 for breakfast. Pool not to really worth having as beautiful beaches. Only issue is that noise from corridors due to design of hotel and cleaners start too early!

Stayed 2 nights in the pool access room. Arrived there earlier than normal check in time but was given the room. Room was clean and comfortable. The only complaint I've got is that there isn't any English channel on their satellite TV, everything was translated into Thai. Hotel should consider looking into that as they do get foreign guests. From the hotel, it's a 10 mins walk to walking street and 15 mins walk to sunrise beach. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

Staffs are very friendly and helpful, breakfast are good too. Go early if you wan hot food.

Arrived with a booking for 1 night, stayed 5! Loved koh Lipe, great snorkelling trips and wide choice of restaurants.

Nice clean hotel, close to walking street and beaches. Friendly staff.

Excellent hotel staff friendly 5 min walk to walking street and all beaches if I had to give negative comment it would be that the breakfast was basic

Hotel is rather new and in great condition, room was very clean and comfortable. Only drawback is location now easy to find, not very close to beach and a few blocks from walking street. Clean pool is a plus

This hotel is a comfortable place to stay on Koh Lipe. The reception staff is excellent and displays typical Thai hospitality. A short walk to walking street and a great coffee shop. Continue on walking street to get to the beach. Staff meets you at the beach on arrival and transports you to the hotel. The same is true when you depart. I would stay here again.

stay there from 03.01.-07.01.2017 we had no reservation and get a double room with Street view, incl. balkony. Rate 2.800 bath. We booked 3 more Nights, online, and get 800 bath discount(expedia). The Hotel is only 3 min. from walkingstreet and between sunrise and sunset beach. Its really calm and clean. I think the Hotel has European Standart and overall it was a great stay!

Overall stay was acceptable. Rooms didnt have much sound proofing. Rooms were clean. Water pressure was too slow during shower, over experience was ok.

They provide taxi rider for customer THE GREEN.....they friendly &helpful always....5minutes away from Pattaya walking street......swimming pool is clean

The hotel is great but we have a big problem with the services of the staff there. They all very rude and not helpfull at all.

New and very modern hotel. Nice little pool. Overall it is very good to the price. Koh Lipe is an expensive island compared to many of the other ones. The one ting that is not so good with the hotel is the fact that it is 5-10 minutes from the beach. That means that you do not have a sunbed at the beach. But the hotel itself has no problems at all. Very nice with clean rooms and nice staff.

Staying 3 night with pool view room. Room 215 doesn't really have that 'pool view' , most slightly facing to residents house. Breakfast was bad, should serve in better way. Bathroom tiles was so slippery, i am almost fall many times. The biggest problem was the TV, till end of the trip i couldn't find any english channel even though they have more than 100 option. Overall not worth for money.

A nice hotell with everything you need. Friendly staff! The breakfast was not that great and the hotell(rooms) smells like it's gonna be moldproblems soon. But for the price, freshness over all and the service it's a great stay!

Its a pretty good value for money. If uou are not so much into beachfront hotels/resorts than Green Hotel is a good choice. About 2 minutes away from walking street and 5 minutes from Pattaya beach.

This hotel lies between Pattaya, Sunrise and Sunset Beach, with about 10 minutes walk to each. The room was very clean with good AC. The breakfast could be improved but overall a nice stay.

We stayed for 5 night at the hotel. Everything is great. The room is new and big. The pool is awesome. The staff was helpful and friendly. The hotel is centrally located in between 3 beaches. Easy to find halal/muslim food at walking street. Just fews step to the walking street and the beaches. We really enjoy the vacation.

Great location but not beach front bit noisy with construction site next door but staff wonderful

Very helpful an friendly staff. Nothing was a problem. Pool very clean , bout 5 min walk to main walking street. Great!
