Le matin promenade dans la propriété dans un jardin superbement entretenu. A noter aussi une grande piscine malheureusement notre séjour était un peu court donc nous avons pas eut le temps de nous baigner.

Semplicemente fantastico

Staff were very warm and welcoming. Very convenient location if you’re doing horse riding in Essaouira but also close to city center. Great breakfast.

Bathrooms could be updated

L'acceuil par Madame Latifa était bon. La qualité des équipements dans la chambre,la piscine et la restaueation est bonne. François est trés gentil et serviable. Le Riad est conçu pour un tourisme écologique. A recommander pour ceux qui aiment la nature.

Durant la nuit du 31 juillet au 1er août, le climatiseur n'a pas bien fonctionné ! Il y a une chute de puissance du courant electrique dans la zone.

Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel dans ce riad et avons même décidé de rester une nuit supplémentaire avec nos enfants tellement nous avons eu un coup de cœur ! L’accueil a été tout simplement incroyable. Un immense merci à Thierry, Latifa, Hassan, François et son épouse Sana, Khadija, sans oublier Tia, qui ont tous contribué à rendre notre séjour inoubliable. Leur gentillesse, leur disponibilité et leur bonne humeur, tout en simplicité, font toute la différence. Le riad est magnifique, grand, cosy, très propre, calme et parfaitement entretenu. On s’y sent immédiatement dépaysé et apaisé. L’ambiance est chaleureuse et conviviale, idéale pour se ressourcer. Les chambres étaient grandes et aérées, avec une salle de bain spacieuse. Les lieux sont propres, les serviettes également, et l’ensemble est très agréable. La literie est très confortable et impeccable. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et tellement agréable à savourer sur la terrasse soigneusement décorée, face à la nature, où chacun trouve son espace. Nous avons également dîné un soir sur place : un tajine incroyable, que même les enfants ont adoré, excellent ! Une très belle surprise que nous recommandons les yeux fermés. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir profiter du hammam et des massage et recommandons cette adresse sans hésiter.

J'ai adoré mon séjour. Le personnel a été très agréable et le service était excellent l'endroit est très calme et j'ai beaucoup apprécié la décoration. J'ai aussi adoré leur chienne Thea qui est très mignonne et amicale ! Je recommande cet établissement sans aucune hésitation et j'adorerais y revenir lors d'un prochain voyage

Latifa encantadora y muy servicial. Llegamos fuera de horas y nos hicieron un tajin exquisito en un momento. La habitación muy bonita y la piscina genial con mucha tranquilidad. The staff and hosts are lovely and accommodating, so is the playful dog. The place is big and well decorated and there are nice views. The rooms are large.

Caveat we were there in early march so they clearly hadn't got set up for the season. The pool isn't heated as advertised (the main reason we booked) I think it starts in April. A lot of the toys and games are old and broken. You need a car if you want to go anywhere. It is very isolated. The food is ok, quite repetitive and very oily.

The service was really excellent. We were well taken care of from the minute we arrived until we left by Latifa and Francois. The food was also brilliant and we ate there every evening. The breakfast was also copious which meant we hardly needed lunch. The location is a short drive from Essaouira and very calm in the evening. We visited in the winter, so didn't get chance to use the swimming pool which looked great. There was a also a dog, which our children loved.

The only negative was a problem with the heating in our room during our stay, which meant our room was a little cold, but there were extra blankets and additional heaters.

The peace and quiet and the exceptional family atmosphere and hospitality.

La prise en compte de notre départ très matinal et la préparation de notre petit déjeuner a emporter. La gentillesse et le sourire de François qui nous a reçus pour le service du dîner . La piscine énorme Le jardin et le petit enclos avec ces deux Ânes 😁....

We spent 5 nights here as the 2nd half of a family holiday. Having travelled from the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh the immediate peace and quiet was both striking and most welcome! The Riad is peaceful, the family room we shared was a good size, the pool area was always clean and quiet and much appreciated under a hot sun! We travelled without a car - worth noting that it is a 15 - 20 minute taxi ride into Essaouria but this was easily arranged with the help of the Riad owners as were activities we booked. The chef / food is lovely and the service with a smile even better. It definitely helps to speak french but ours is very limited and it was not really an issue. Big thanks to all of the staff at Dar Essaada for helping to make our stay so memorable!

Certains éléments du petit déjeuner ne sont pas compris dans la réservation, telles que les omelettes et autres supplément au petit déjeuner classique compris dans la réservation ( omelette, etc …) J’ajouterais qu’il manque également des fruits à ce petit déjeuner, compris dans la reservation . Donc déçu du petit déjeuner .

Es un Riad molt bonic, a les afores de Essaouira, super tranquil, amb una piscina excepcional i un personal molt correcte. L'habitació estava molt bé, ja que era molt gran, a la planta baixa amb acces directe a la piscina.

La location è meravigliosa, la struttura molto carina, ha una bellissima piscina adatta a tutti compreso i bimbi piccoli. Il personale è davvero gentile e disponibile. I pranzo o le cene vanno prenotate entro mezzo giorno, il cibo è buono, semplice e i prezzi ragionevoli.

Wi-Fi piuttosto scarso, nella stanze non prende per niente invece nella zona ristorante funziona. Per quanto riguarda l'aria condizionata, nei primi giorni ha funzionato ma purtroppo per due notti di fila non abbiamo avuto l'aria condizionata. La struttura si è resa disponibile di prestarci un ventilatore che non abbiamo usato perché siamo arrivati tardi, dopo cena non c'era più nessuno nella struttura.

La gentillesse de latifa et Thierry ainsi que leur équipe sans oublier François toujours souriant ça fait plaisir et les échanges que nous avons pu avoir avec eux. Le lieu aussi est très sympa.

Beautiful management and people

Dar Essaada is a beautiful place to stay after the hustle and bustle of the Medina in Essaouira. Located in the countryside just 20 mins from the town, it is a place of peace and tranquility. We were greeted warmly by the staff and enjoyed some wonderful meals. The rooms are large and beautiful and decorated with an African theme. There are lots of original sculptures and artworks to admire. Thank you Latifa Thierry Francoise the chef and all the staff who made our stay most enjoyable. Special big hugs to Tia the adorable dog.

Nothing not to like about the property

The warmest of welcomes received, a beautiful room with inspired touches to make our stay comfortable. We enjoyed the pool, the breakfast was good value for money. Tranquil environment with lots to enjoy - missed out on the hammam & massages this time but will return to try it.

There was an issue with the pool on the second day so we couldn't use it as much as we planned to.

My family and I had a wonderful stay. The hospitality was excellent. The staff were all lovely, friendly and very helpful and welcoming. My two daughters loved the swimming pool. The breakfasts were delicious and the staff were so accommodating, going out of the way to prepare a dinner of spaghetti bolognese for my daughters. The family that own and run it were always on hand to help us with our stay and answer the many questions I had about booking taxi rides into town and camel rides!! We would definitely return again.

The only thing I didn’t quite understand is that you have to pay for your eggs at breakfast.. first time I’ve encountered this while breakfast is included. Breakfast was only bread with jam and butter, cream cheese (la vache qui rie) some sweets, fruits and coffee or thee. Eggs should be included in my opinion. Otherwise very limited protein wise :)

Strategically located if your purpose is to see and visit Essaouira, Sidi Kaouki and Imsouane. on the other hand, if you don’t much fancy moving and like staying and relaxing, the riad itself has and offers facilities and services like swimming pool, hammam, massage, lunch and dinner

There is nothing that we didn’t like. We just wish we had rent a car earlier and during our whole 3 days stay and not just the last day.

Dar Essaada is exquisitely designed and our room in particular was beautiful with a stunning view. Thierry is a charming host along with Francois, Azma and the team who go out of their way to help. The whole building is gorgeous and filled with art pieces while everything remains relaxed and comfortable. Mon the dog and the occasional wild tortoise roaming around provide entertainment. The pool is beautiful and an aperitif on the terrace before dinner is perfect after a day in Essouaira medina. All in all - a real gem.

It was all great

Great location a short drive from Essaouira attractions. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the place had the perfect peaceful, relaxed feel for a family holiday. An added benefit of staying here is that it is 15 min drive from Essaouira but doesn’t get the wind.

Geweldige plek en locatie om vanaf hier de omgeving van Essaouira te ontdekken.De beheerders Francoise en Bruno zijn zeer gastvrij en zullen er alles aan doen om jou een perfecte vakantie te bezorgen. Tip: Francoise kan geweldig koken.

Françoise et Bruno ont un sens naturel de l'hospitalité. Merci pour la qualité de leur accueil, pour leur chaleur. Autre qualité, et non des moindres, Ils ont une trés bonne connaissance de la culture Marocaine qu'ils font partager volontiers. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour sous leur toit et comptons bien revenir - Merci !
