Casa Taos

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very special guests with a lovely warm welcome from Hind. We had a lovely room with en suite bathroom and air conditioning and it was extremely quiet. The pool area was great and the pool was clean and well maintained and there were plenty of sun loungers for all the guests. The food was excellent and there was a wide choice of Moroccan food through to burgers and chips and spaghetti bolognese as well as vegan options. Also a good selection of alcoholic drinks. Hind and Ismail were exceptionally good at looking after and caring for all our needs and were always happy to recommend local restaurants, sights to visit locally or in Marrakech. We loved our stay at Casa Taos and would have no hesitation in recommending it most highly and we would definitely stay there again.

Thermostatic valves in showers and basins would be useful as the hot water is very hot and it's tricky to adjust the taps to get the right temperature.

Un havre de paix à 20 min du centre de Marrakech, décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Petit-déjeuner excellent, composé avec beaucoup de produits locaux. Très belle chambre et literie très confortable. Personnel très attentionné.

Les repas sont très bons mais les prix sont tout de même élevés par rapport à la moyenne de Marrakech.

The road approaching the property was so bumpy it made me wonder if we made the right choice.

Nous recherchions un logement calme en dehors de Marrakech. Nous avons trouvé chez CASA TAOS tout ce qu’il faut pour passer un excellent séjour : un personnel accueillant, souriant et arrangeant. Le petit déjeuner est de très bonne qualité, les chambres sont spacieuses et propres. La cuisine est de très grande qualité (notamment la souris d’agneau 🤩 qui a sublimé nos papilles). Monsieur Hicham est très présent pour les hôtes, recommandent les bons endroits, vous explique la culture marocaine. Nous ne pouvons que vivement recommander cet endroit !

Absolutely loved my time at Casa Taos although was too short and can’t wait to go back. The staff were amazing, including the owners, who all looked after my every need. The room was spacious and comfortable with everything thought of and I loved the art dotted all over the property as well as the many cactuses in every corner, even some in the pool! The food was heavenly - from breakfast to dinner. Wonderful homemade yogurt, cheese, tapenade with freshly squeezed juice from mandarins in their garden to start the day, to hake tagine and of course wonderful Moroccan salads and meze. Thank you so much and I hope to be back soon!

Hint and the team were absolutely lovely. Welcoming and professional. The pool area is beautiful. I had a real fire in my room which was made every day for me.

The white rug with black lines in the room needs a good clean The cleaners left cleaning rags and fluids in my room three times. The bath was uncomfortable with steps into it so you couldn’t relax in the bath. The area outside the hotel is scruffy. Not the hotel’s fault. These are just small things.

A little paradise outside Marrakech. Beautiful place, nicely decorated rooms, great pool, good food and super friendly staff. We loved it!!

We were so impressed with Casa Taos. The owner, Hicham, is really experienced and on it and the whole organisation of the place reflects this. His staff are fantastic. The grounds are beautiful with various seating/sunbed/hammock areas scattered around. The pool and terrace area was well designed and equipped with lots of sunbeds and several convivial lounge seating areas where we sat for an aperitif and to play a game. The food was genuinely outstanding - an amazing choice of interesting and lovely quality lunch options; dinner offered a choice of starters and a set main of the day - again, outstanding. Nice to be able to buy beer and wine. The big dining tables and the way they were set allowed you to keep yourselves to yourselves or easily chat to other guests over meals. Our room was spacious and thoughtfully equipped with things like double layer curtains. Really recommended as a change to staying in the medina.

It’s a 30 minute or so drive into the centre, be prepared for the usual ups and downs with Marrakesh taxi drivers and to allocate a budget to taxi trips.

Hichams staff were exceptional and welcoming.

Drilling for water was quite noisy until midnight. Obviously a major requirement in the area. Rhythmic noise in the background all afternoon by the pool.

Really peaceful, about 20 minutes from Marrakech and the airport. Wonderful hosts and food. Rooms are great.

We came here for the second time. Welcome us with a drink and a piece of homemade cake. Love everything, beautiful tropical garden, organic ingredients, all Hicham, his wife and their well-behaved, friendly, sweet pet dog are so lovely.

Everything. This place has a real soul and it was a little piece of heaven for a week.

The staff provided exceptional service. The cuisine exceeded expectations, featuring home-style cooking with fresh bio ingredients. I particularly loved the homemade lemon and orange jams and the olive tapenade served at breakfast. The property was stunning and the atmosphere was very relaxing. I would recommend to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat with excellent service and delicious food.

Everything... The staff were super helpful, the food was really nice...we stayed 10 days (5 more than originally planned) and enjoyed every meal. Home cooking and fresh and healthy food. WiFi was good. Rooms were spacious and are better than the photos portray. We had a room with a log fire which was great in the cooler evenings. Location is not central but still just a short taxi to Marrakech...which was perfect for us. Grounds and pool all very well kept....overall extremely peaceful and relaxing which was exactly what we wanted. Would highly recommend!!

Casa Taos is as close to perfection as is possible. The staff are so wonderful, the property is so peaceful and comfortable - there is nothing I would change. I couldn't recommend it more. Hindi and Ismael were incredibly friendly and helpful. The owner, Hicham, was very warm. The setting is beautiful, the built design and grounds were beautiful. Food was delicious and sooo plentiful. Huge homemade spread for breakfast, wonderful fresh produce.

Bear in mind that you will be a 30 minute taxi ride from the Medina.

Such a beautifully designed, spacious place to be. The food was so good, an international choice, beautifully presented. The staff were so helpful, hospitality was great, our room lovely. We didn't want to leave!

Exceptional staff. Hinda & Ishmael went above and beyond to ensure we had the best possibe service and comfort during our stay. The property, pool ,rooms, grounds are absolutely amazing..!!!!!! Hinda provided the BEST customer service & hospitality skills I've ever experienced. She really cares and brings so much love and warmth, it feels just like a family home. The food was amazing, home cooked, adding that little extra feeling of nurture. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend..

Everything is good and the food is so lovely. However, it is a good ideal to have a mini fridge in all bedrooms to keep the bottle of water or medical treatments in cold place! Enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful tropical gardens.

A beautiful, peaceful family run hotel of 7 rooms away from the hustle & bustle that is Marrakech. Birds singing happily all day, palm trees swaying in the evening breeze, lovingly prepared food with many ingredients sourced from their garden, absolutely delicious, plenty of drinks too of any kind, felt like we had been invited to stay with friends in their holiday home, the staff warm and welcoming, couldn’t do enough for us with special thanks to Hind. Finally our host Hisham who was around through the day to help with enquiries or simply lend a hand with food/drink preparation!

We loved our room, loved the grounds and the pool! However we felt if one was of a certain age and not able to get around well, some of the areas would have been challenging.

The garden and pool are gorgeous. The staff was very attentive and made all the difference. The food was excellent. I recommend booking the place as a family to enjoy the beautiful facilities and service. Thank you Hisham and team!

One just needs to be aware that there’s nothing much near the property itself. But it is very easy to reach downtown Marrakesh with a quick taxi ride. And then relax at Casa Taoas 😁

Like a home from home. Small and intimate, the staff made the trip a beautiful memory. Nicer than the photos look, loads of little places to relax. Beautiful garden and good was amazing. Wish we had longer there! X

Lovely gardens, great for children. Our daughter loved the trampoline, the roaming chickens and most of all the very friendly dog! A very warm welcome and wonderful staff who were very helpful in accommodating our daughter and helping with trips into the city. An excellent stay? Thank you.

The courtesy and helpfulness of the staff, especially Hind and Ishmael were outstanding. The breakfasts were extremely good and fulsome. We loved our bedroom which was huge and had a lovely terrace. It is about 25 minutes from the centre of Marrakech so a hire car is preferable, but an easy drive into town.

The food was fantastic and the staff excellent. A beautiful quiet place to relax.

Loved our stay at Casa Taos...the staff made us feel so very welcome and could not do enough for us. The food was great.....enough menu options to ensure you dont get bored and so tempting to sit back around the beautiful pool and not emerge from the Riad at all. Its a 20 min taxi ride into the Ciity Centre....the team are happy to make recommendations for food and book taxis for you but we were pretty happy to hole up for a few days and relax with a book and a glass of rose. The prices for food and alcohol and the standard of food all very good. Would definitely recommend for a couples or family break. the place sleeps 18 so would even suit a large group takeover.

We loved everything about this hotel a real peaceful oasis within easy reach of Marrakech centre. The room was beautiful, spacious and very comfortable. Meals were outstanding with many products grown organically in the grounds. Our son loved the trampoline in the garden, the fabulous swimming pool and also the very friendly dog Oslo . We were very well looked after by the lovely staff and spent most of our time relaxing by the pool and eating fabulous food! After a busy couple of weeks of sightseeing it was a perfect relaxing end to our Moroccan holiday.

A very lovely visit at Casa Taos with extraordinary hospitality from Ms. Hind, the manager and the owner. The meals at Casa Taos were a highlight and compared to other venues- other restaurants, hotels and guest houses, well, just better. Superior taste, variety, presentation and portion size. Being away from the medina was a relief at the end of the day and Casa Taos felt like it’s own oasis.

An absolute gem of a place. Large clean & comfortable rooms inside a bright & colourful villa set in lush gardens. The owner & his staff can’t do enough for you. The food is superb & generous. At least there are chairs in the pool so you can nap away lunch in comfort!

There’s nothing not to like!

Magnifique Riad pour séjourner en couple, entre amis ou en famille. Nous y avons séjourné avec nos 3 enfants (18 mois, 8 ans et 12 ans), toutes les installations sont adaptées (trampoline, badminton, ping pong, piscine avec parties peu profondes adaptées aux plus petits…). Accueil chaleureux et merveilleux plats concotés! Le meilleur thé que nous avons bu à Marrakech. Merci à Hicham et son équipe. Nous reviendrons!

A really lovely place to stay. You feel like family and everything is easy. Even with the owners away the place was run perfectly. Our kids loved the tree house, we loved the food and the feel of the place.

The hospitality at Casa Taos is fantastic! It's more of a home than a hotel, and the team couldn't have been more helpful. The hotel is about 6km from the Medina, but arranging Taxis for us was no trouble. And for those days when you don't want to leave the hotel, the pool area is fantastic, and everything you need is right there.

Fijn hotel, zeer betrokken personeel, lekker eten. Kamers zijn schoon, groot en mooi.

Icham et Karima sont formidablement accueillants Leur verger et potager bios de 7 hectares apportent une matière première fruits et légumes de top qualité tous les jours que les cuisinières subliment en vous proposant des recettes exquises. La qualité de la cuisine surpasse bon nombre de restaurants en ville. La situation HORS ville apporté un calme incroyable avec également une vue sublime sur les montagnes et on pourra vous appeler un chauffeur pour aller en centre ville en un quart d'heure. Casa taos est un oasis de bien etre que je recommande chaudement !

My wife and I went to Casa Taos for her 40th birthday and all I can say is that this hotel is simply amazing. The staff are always on hand and ready to do anything to make your stay perfect. We arrived in the morning and were immediately provided with breakfast which consisted of a plethora of fruits, breads, spreads, and home made yoghurt. The hotel is secluded a 20 minute drive away from the noise and craziness of the Medina, which may not appeal to everyone, but was quite an enjoyable experience for us who wanted to have some peace and quiet away from the kids. The food served at night was some of the best food we had in Marrakech. We will definitely be back to Casa Taos in the future and will be bringing our kids to enjoy it with us! Thank you again to everyone for making our stay enjoyable.

Etter hektiske dager i medinaen i Marrakech var siste døgnet i dette herlige gjestehuset før hjemreise virkelig den beste avslutningen på ferien. Deilig hage med hengekøyer mellom palmene i duften av appelsintrær og gjestfrie verter som virkelig fikk oss til å føle oss som hjemme. Stå opp i paradis til den nydelige frokosten hvor det meste er dyrket og laget på Casa Taos. Et fantastisk sted vi anbefaler på det sterkeste til alle, både til små og store.

Started out with a break in Marrakech here for a few days of relaxation before heading to the centre. We lasted 1 day in the centre before making a phone call to come back here as it ticked every box. Great facilities, wonderful staff, very relaxing. We very rarely go back somewhere but we will definitely be back here.

Wat een fantastisch verblijf bij Hicham in Casa Taos. Ontzettend klantvriendelijk behandeld, fantastisch eten, een prachtige locatie en mooie kamers. Heerlijk aan het zwembad gelegen in totale rust, eten wanneer het ons uitkwam, groente en fruit vers en biologisch. Iedere avond gezellig met de andere gasten (welgeteld 2 en 4) aan tafel gegeten in intieme sfeer. Overal zijn kleine zithoekjes en chillplekjes, echt genoten van de rust!

Absolutely wonderful place to stay just outside the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh. We spent 4 nights there chilling after travelling through Morocco. Family run by delightful family and the staff members are so helpful. Food throughout the day was excellent. No end to the choice of fresh produce grown on location. Beautifully decorated throughout, fab art and furnishings. Once you reach the blue gates of Casa Taos your holiday starts, you are looked after till the moment you leave. We were lucky to be at Casa Taos during Eid, the whole family arrived and were just so delightful, even the resident dogs, toffee and Echo.
