Dinosaur Inn & Suites

Our room was large and so was the bathroom. There were 2 luggage racks which was nice. We did have an end room so maybe it was bigger than most. We had a fridge and microwave and a keurig coffee maker in the room. It was very clean.

The breakfast was just okay.

Buretto was great. Convenient.

The location was perfect. We have stayed here in the past a few times. We tried somewhere else the last 2 years because they stopped taking debit cards. We came back because we love it there. We had no issues with them taking our debit card this year.

No gym, entrance to the rooms is from the outside (did not see that on the pictures). Breakfast was low quality.

Etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber gepflegt. Bis auf die fleckige Badewanne war alles Tip top sauber. Leider hat unser Bett so gequietscht, dass ich die halbe Nacht nicht schlafen konnte. Der Pool ist groß und nicht eiskalt 👍. Das Frühstück ist viel besser als erwartet, wir waren richtiggehend begeistert (also für USA-Verhältnisse sehr gut). Parken direkt vor der Tür, große Zimmer und nebenan ist eine tolle Pizzeria.

Die Dame am Empfang war sehr zurückhaltend und nicht wirklich freundlich. Die Badewanne ist fleckig. Eines der beiden Betten hat fürchterlich gequietscht.

We stayed here for one night with our family of 5 (kids aged 8-6-4). The room was very clean and spacious; helpful staff, good breakfast: overall, a very good experience. One point -- they could have given us bedsheets for the sofa bed, we would have accommodated the kids more comfortably.

Beds were bouncy so when husband moved the whole bed shook. AC didn’t reach the opposite side of the room. Ran out of breakfast burritos.

Breakfast was tasty and filling, beds were comfortable, showers were nice and hot. Couldn't do the pool due to weather but that's not the staff's fault.

Tolle Lage, in Vernal direkt an der Hauptstaße. Parken direkt vor der Tür. Sehr leckeres Thai-Restaurant in der Nähe. Zimmer waren sauber. Wir fühlten uns wohl. Frühstück für amerikanische Verhältnisse ganz gut.

Der Pool wurde den ganzen Abend von einer Gruppe Feierlustiger besetzt, so dass meine Tochter sich nicht hintraute. Schade!

You gotta love the name. I was in Vernal to see the dinosaur quarry, so of course I had to stay at the Dinosaur Inn. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They had an excellent breakfast! The place wasn't fancy but it was clean and a good value for the money.

No complaints in particular. Everything was fine.

Swimming pool was great. Rooms very comfortable with beds, bathroom & AC.

Breakfast was okay, though set up a little different: requesting food from person at a counter, so not being able to dish up your own eggs, for example.

They handled a large number of guests efficiently and cheerfully.

More seating...but it was a big crowd including a tour bus. So it wasn't their fault.

The staff was kind and the location was perfect for exploring Dinosaur National Monument and Vernal.

Other reviews mentioned it was recently renovated. We definitely did not have a renovated room, so that was disappointing. Also, some reviews really upsold breakfast. It was good, but not “the best hotel breakfast ever.”

Für uns perfekt! Schöne große saubere Zimmer, die beste Dusche auf der ganzen Reise. Der Pool ist groß und herrlich erfrischend. Von hier aus war es nicht weit zum National Dinosaur Monument- ein echtes Highlight.

Es ist zum heulen, das Frühstück selbst ist gut. Aber Müll, Müll, Müll. Was allein in diesem Hotel täglich produziert wird ist unglaublich. Sehr schade!

The location was convenient along US 40. Having a nice Italian restaurant next door was a plus.

I wasn’t sure what to expect. We don’t stay in hotels often and usually we the big chains when we do. We were very pleasantly surprised when we got here. The lobby was clean. Breakfast area wasn’t huge but seemed adequate. Hot breakfast was served. Nothing fancy but it was good. The room was very clean. Beds were reasonably comfortable. Had some space to move around in. The bathroom was clean. It was a nice place to stay on our road trip. They have an outdoor pool, which we didn’t have time to use but looked like a nice area. I’ll definitely stay here again.

One of the best roadside inns we've ever seen. Great location in the center of town. Clean, spacious rooms with everything you could possibly need. And topped off with a great hot breakfast.

Motel met een goede locatie dicht bij het centrum van Vernal en aan centrale weg. Er is een buitenzwembad can gemiddelde omvang met ligbedjes. De vierpersoonskamer is groot en schoon met met koelkast, magnetron en koffiemaker. Geen geluidsoverlast en voldoende parkeerplaatsen voor de deur.

De TV op de kamer heeft een vreemd smal en klein beeld. Je moet bestellen voor het ontbijt en in de rij staan, zelfs voor bijv. de roerei of yoghurt.

We have stayed here before and absolutely love it. Very family friendly. Rooms are great sized. We stayed in a family suite and it was bigger than I expected. Not sure if we gor lucky and jist didn't have loud people above is either time but we barely heard people upstairs either time. Breakfast is awesome as well.

Wish the pool was open longer hours. Should open earlier and stay open later. Its missing a hot tub. And as far as I know there's not a fitness room

Rude staff. Old rooms and tiny tv’s, holes in the wall. There are way better hotels in Vernal. No idea how this dump got such high ratings.

We were up for the 4th of July celebration and the Dinosaur Inn & Suites was an excellent location to walk to all the downtown events on July 3rd, a perfect location to watch the parade too. There is also a really nice pizza place next door. Many restaurants within walking distance. The hotel provided coffee 24/7. Which was great. The morning breakfast was good too. I found the common areas, pool, sidewalks, driveway, outdoor seating very clean and no garbage, cigarette butts laying around. The room was perfect for us. We had two rooms. The air conditioning was great and kept the room nice and cool. The beds were very comfortable too! And the rooms were quiet and you didn't hear outside sounds. Check in and check out was easy. We actually arrived almost 3 hrs before check in and just wanted to park the cars so we could explore, but we were happy that they had our rooms ready and gave us our keys!

It was really a great stay. The pool was really cold, but it did feel nice to put your feet in to cool down.

The property is clean and well run. The pool area is great.

The room exceeded our expectation . The bed was very comfortable and almost every amenity was provided. Checkin was quick and efficient. The lady behind the counter was pleasent and informative. The breakfast was as good as you could expect from a 4star bistro. We will stay here when we come back to Vernal.

The light from parking lot was more than needed. Perhaps some blackout blinds or shafes .

Rooms were very clean and updated counters and such. The rooms were also roomy with benches at the foot of the beds with still plenty of room to walk around

There was nothing not to like, the central location places it in walking distance to great restaurants and the State Museum and Park. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was excellent, really liked all the options that were available. Really liked the location of the room to the pool area. Staff was warm and welcoming. Room size was a perfect fit for our family of 5. The cleanliness of the room was great.

The beds were little firmer than we like. You could feel the couch bed rail while sleeping, causing restless sleep. There should have been sugar free options with coffee creamer, syrup, and juice. Other than that the hotel was great!

The breakfast was so quick easy and delicious! The attendant was so helpful and patient with all of the kids and their choices. The beds were comfortable. The rooms were clean. The outdoor pool was our favorite part and having plenty of pool towels out was such a great perk!

The unit we stayed in was clean. We loved the privacy of our suite. An extra door at the entry meant more quiet and space between us and all the other guests. The king bed was very comfortable.

The breakfast was ok. For most people it offered hot options like waffles, biscuit and gravy, sausage. For the health conscious, no whole grain, just an apple and an orange. A crockpot of whole oats would have been welcome. This is an aging unit.

Stayed here last night on one of the last legs of our holiday. Lovely clean spacious room. The lady that checked us in was so nice, talking to us about beans on toast. 🤣, the kind of customer service that makes you want to come back. The breakfast was plentiful especially as we are vegetarian. In fact everyone we encountered was lovely. Thanks from room 134

Second story room with no elevator and I’m 76 years old. Also, I did not like the way they served breakfast. I would rather get it myself. These two things would keep me from staying there again

we arrived to the reception, after a booking with booking.com, to meet a very uninterested young lady. She gave us the key and when we entered the room, the smell of chemical kind of cheap toilet refreshner was overwhelming and intolarable. Even after opening the front door for 25 min, there was no difference. I noticed that the other rooms next to us all had their front door open as well, probably for the same reason. The smell was in the carpet, walls, curtains...etc, so some fresh air didn't do any help. As I couldn't sleep in such an environmen (I had instant headache because of that stank), I went to told the reception (after half an hour), that I was checking out. The young lady was meanwhile replaced by 2 other (totally uninterested young women) who didn't even bother to ask for the reason why. All she said was that they had to charge the room anyway. After I explained the reason why, the only reply I got was: "Awww, sorry about that, we'll pass it thru; but we still have to charge you for the night". They didn't even suggest to find me a room that didn't smell that gross, maybe because they know they all stink...? Anyhow, dear tourists that are passing thru Vernal, there are 3 other hotels/motels in Vernal....pick any of the others and you will be far better off.

on the Vernal Main Street. Convenient location, but road noise heavy when you opened the door. it was quiet inside, also the air con helped drown out any street noise.
