Très esprit nature avec beaucoup de végétation. Très agréable et appréciable à l'œil.

Un manque cruel d'entretien général sur l'ensemble de l'hôtel !! Boiseries extérieur qui maintiennent la toiture détérioré avec le temps qui se détache par morceau! Impossible de profiter de la petite terrasse car le moteur de la clim est à 4 mètres de vous et faisait un bruit qui laisse entendre que c'est du vieux matériel qui a bien vieilli , la rouille sur l'appareil confirme son état..des odeurs persistantes d'égout ici et là..pas d'eau chaude au robinet! Et oui! Que de l'eau froide !! La douche très sommaire! Avec un chauffe eau assez sommaire.. vous allumez l'eau et il faut attendre un moment pour que l'eau chauffe! La porte de la chambre,une fois fermée il y'a un espace ( vous pouvez passer deux doigts) se qui laisse entrée les moustiques..le bas de la porte de la salle de bain lambeau. L'humidité je suppose..poignée de porte du meuble de salle de bain absente ou cassées...le pire c'est le passage incessant des véhicules, nous étions casiment à l'entrée de l'hôtel, des tracteurs tous les matins entre 8h et 8h30 avec une "chenilles" de remorques avec des jet ski..je voys laisse imaginer le bruit quand il passent lobg du mur de votre chambre!! nous nous somme pas reposer comme en voulait..la mer, faut attendre marée haute pour qu'elle soit devant l'hôtel, de toute façon c'est caillouteux et impossible de s'y baigner, il y a 40 centimètres d'eau même à marée haute il faut marcher le long de la plage ( 300 ou 400 mètres pour avoir du sable sans rocher et cailloux ...en conclusion pour le prix ( 530€) pour 7 nuits il y a bien mieux sur chaweng

Staff were friendly and were always ready to help with any requests. We had a seaview room, which was spacious enough for two people. Being on the beach, we could swim either in the pool or at the beach. The resort was walking distance to the main shopping area. Resort was quiet at night time.

Papillon is right at the north end of Chewang beach, so you are away from all the noise but within easy reach of it, if you want it. We ate at Your Place a couple of times and really liked it. Breakfast at Papillon was good value with plenty of options. The restaurant also served other food throughout the day and we had lunch a couple of times and it was really nice. Staff were very friendly and helpful, booking us a taxi to get our ferry. The pool area was lovely and although the immediate beach in front is not quite as picturesque as the rest of the beach, it really is only a minute walk to reach the beautiful clear water of the bay, with sand banks to sit on and look at the fish. My teenagers enjoyed snorkeling. The whole place has a very relaxed feel and we really had a great time staying here and would recommend to anyone who likes to stay at good value accommodation, rather than 5 star luxury. The on site massages were lovely too.

As a family we loved it

Für uns als Familie mit grossen Kindern war es perfekt! Wir hatten 3 doppelstöckige Bungalows welche sehr sauber waren und uns genug Platz gaben. Die Betten sind hart, was wir bevorzugen, und der AC lässt sich einfach regulieren. Kühlschrank, Strand- Pooltücher, leckeres Frühstück, nettes und höfliches Personal etc. was will man mehr. Und der Massage Sala ist die Krönung; die Ladys dort beherrschen ihr Handwerk!

Zimmer waren ausreichend groß und gut eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war lecker und das Personal super nett.

Die Lage ist nicht so toll. Kein Supermarkt in der nähe und der Strandabschnitt ist auch nicht so toll.

Situata in una zona un po’ più isolata dalla movida dell’isola, quindi una struttura in linea generale in una zona più silenziosa e tranquilla dove si può riposare durante il giorno e la notte. Camere decorate con buon gusto.

Spiaggia pressoché inesistente e fortemente condizionata dall’andamento delle maree. Localizzata nell’immediata vicinanza di un rimessaggio ( pertanto diverse barche e trattori passano in prossimità della riva). Ristorante che purtroppo chiude alle 19. Struttura da rinnovare ( come già segnalato in altre recensioni è evidente una scarsa manutenzione della struttura esterna). Durante il soggiorno alcuni ospiti dell’albergo hanno tenuta accesa una cassa musicale portatile a bordo piscina -in prossimità delle camere- disturbando gli altri ospiti senza che nessuno venisse ad ammonirli.

It’s a beautiful resort with nice sea view, a swimming pool and lots of plants. The sea water in front of the resort was actually clearer than other parts on Chaweng beach.

It was a bit far from the busy area and no stores around. The swimming pool was probably a bit deep for people who are not good swimmers to use.

Service was very very poor , they serve breakfast at 8.30 which is too late and also they don’t open the reception and most of the activities starts from 7 am in the morning. The beach is not good at all. Too pricey for the services they offer.

Gostei da delicadeza dos pormenores, da decoração cuidada e ao mesmo tempo simples e integrada na região. Vista de mar linda da piscina! Ficámos numa cabana com vista para o jardim, mas mesmo assim muito bonita e aconchegante, rodeada de plantas e flores lindas! Aconselhamos!

Die Fotos versprechen nicht zu viel. Der Ausblick ist einfach ein Traum und man kann ganz weit ins Meer rausspazieren. Waren mit unseren Kindern, 6 und 7 Jahren da und hatten eine tolle Zeit. Den Strand runter gibt es viele Lokale, aber im Resort selbst ist es sehr ruhig. Der Pool ist super und sauber. Frühstück ist nicht aufregend, aber okay und wenn man mag, kann man auch essen, bis 19:00 ist ausschank, dann ist zu.Die überdachte Terrasse bleibt offen und da kann man Billard, Karten etc spielen, steht frei zur Verfügung. Die Anlage ist sehr idyllisch. Man merkt schon, dass es etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist, es gibt aber keine groben Mängel.

E difficile scrivere una recensione senza essere volgare e maleducata. Sono anni che viaggio con Booking/tripadvisor ma non mi è mai successa una cosa simile. Questo resort, se così si può definire, è totalmente degradato, le foto che vengono pubblicate sono completamente ingannevoli e ritoccate. Siamo arrivati in 8 e dovevamo alloggiare li una settimana, dopo l'immensa delusione e la discussione con la proprietarial che pretendeva di avere ragione), ce ne siamo andati nonostante avessimo pagato non ci è nemmeno stato fatto un rimborso), e abbiamo cercato un'altro resort. Il locale è pericoloso in quanto per la maggior parte è arrugginito, al tetto mancano dei pezzi, la piscina è piccolissima, sporca e tenuta male. Sdraio con i materassini tutti rotti, locale che dovrebbe essere il ristorante pessimo. In più, se andate nel periodo di giugno non troverete nemmeno il mare in quanto c'è la bassa marea, e certo questa non è una colpa dello proprietaria, ma se almeno il resort si presentasse come nelle immagini, sarebbe gradevole anche starci. Vergognoso, in primo luogo il comportamento della proprietaria. Saccente e presuntuosa

Tutto il resto: le parti comuni erano fatiscenti, gran parte della struttura era arrugginita, la piscina tonda che nella foto su booking sembra grande, era un buco per una persona e oltretutto c'erano foglie ovunque, dentro e fuori dall' acqua. Sdraio, sedie vecchie e malandate. All' arrivo pensavamo fosse chiuso, abbandonato e infatti non c' era un solo cliente nel "resort". La proprietaria non ha fatto che deriderci e dire che la sua struttura era perfetta.

Foto finte e locale completamente lasciato andare. Siamo arrivati lì dopo aver pagato una settimana, e ce ne siamo andati via subito. Proprietaria maleducata. Struttura pericolante e lasciata andare, tutto arrugginito, non fatevi ingannare dalle recensioni e dalle foto ingannevoli.

A beautiful and peaceful place by the sea. The mornings are lovely, filled with birdsong and squirrels nearby. The staff is very friendly and helped us arrange a tour around the island. Everything was perfect, and the rooms were cleaned daily. We had a wonderful stay.

Everything. I live for over 30 years in Thailand and it's by far the worst place I have stayed. The bungalows are outdated. The front door didn't close properly, therefore bugs in the room. The aircon was not working well, only one power outlet, old worn-out bedsheets and towels, and it was noisy during the night since fishermen drive to their boats.

The Thai staff is really friendly, feels like family. It's uncomplicated and has a feeling of freedom as a guest.

The whirlpool next to the pool did not work, had no water.some of the facilitys are broke and old. The toilet seat, the door the laying chair at the pool, the blanket on the bed.. there was no hairdryer in the bathroom. The fake stone tiles in the shower are dirty, because it's not easy to clean them. I mean I did not care but for some persons mabey it's not nice. The restaurant and bar close very early in evening, around 20:30, Wich is nice if you like it quiet. At the evening there are some street dogs sometimes on the pool side. There was no conversation at the checkout, not asking how the stay was, no have a good trip. Not even I wished a good time and said thanx. That was a little bit wierd.

Allez dans cet endroit sans hésiter à 10 minutes à pieds du centre vous trouverez tranquillité et bien être... sur place il y a aussi des massages Thaï pro un pur bonheur. 🙏 Merci encore, vraiment.

Nice little cottages. We chose standard room over superior, liked the vibe more. 2 pools and a jacuzzi. Our 1,75 year daughter loved it.

The beach not ideal for swimming, very shallow and partially a bit rocky. But still nice :) Quite some mosquitos around our cottage, coud not really use the veranda properly.

The whole resort is very nice and is family friendly. The staff were also very friendly and strive to accommodate your needs. Resort also has a lovely pool area.

The immediate beach front has very shallow water and not ideal for swimming. Didn't bother us too much as we visited different beaches.

Breakfast is serviced by friendly staff. The breakfast have a fair amount of choice and giving clients good value for their money.

Although it is located as a beachfront resort, the actual beach is very shallow, exposing sandbanks making it non-swimmable it in immediate beach front area. However, it does have a decent swimming pool overlooking the beach.

Hotel is a 1-2km from the activity so one has to factor in the cost of taxis to/from the centre. We had to wait for the room to be cleaned which was over 30 minutes after checking time. Communication with the reception was not great. Hotel is a bit tired and needs a fresh layer of paint

It’s in need of some maintenance and gardening around the property. They also should clean the beach up of plastic bottles etc in front of the hotel.

Sauber, nettes Personal

Normalerweise schreibe ich keine schlechten Rezensionen, aber hier muss ich leider eine Ausnahme machen. Das Resort an sich ist sauber und gepflegt und das Personal sehr nett und zuvorkommend, das Frühstück könnte auch für drei Sterne etwas abwechslungsreicher ausfallen. Die Lage ganz am Ende des Chaweng Beach ist ok, der zugehörige Strandabschnitt leider verschmutzt hauptsächlich mit Plastikmüll, dieser Abschnitt wird außerdem von den Locals genutzt als Schiffswrack-Sammelstelle. Jetzt kommt der wirklich unangenehme Teil. Morgens und abends herrscht täglich reger Verkehr, auch und hauptsächlich weil die Locals quasi durch das Resort täglich ca. 15 Jetskis zum Strandabschnitt fahren, mit Traktoren, Trucks etc. Meist 3-4 Fahrten jeweils morgens und abends, was zu einer erheblichen Geräuschbelästigung führt, gerade dann wenn man es gerne ruhig hätte. Außerdem herrscht auch komplett durch die Nacht hindurch reger lautstarker Verkehr, hauptsächlich durch LKW's, Roller etc. Wir hatten leider in zehn Nächten nicht eine ruhige und erholsame Nacht, es war eine absolute Katastrophe.

Der var ikke strand udover et sted med fiskerbåde, hvor affald flød rundt i vandet og herske hver dag blev sat i vandet for at sejle ind til byen. Wifi fungerede kun henne ved receptionen. Ikke på værelset. Og restauranten/baren lukker hver dag allerede kl. 19.

The owner and staff could not be more friendly. The swimming pool is great, clean and well cared for. Room make-up, towel and water supply were fine. We only had one breakfast and a couple of Thai lunch dishes but these were excellent. However, the nearby Chomchan by Lecker Schmecker restaurant is even better: we went there 4 times in the 6 days we stayed at Papillon.

Papillon was obviously once a lovely resort but is in decline with dated villas and furnishings and, apart from the pool, a general lack of maintenance. At the far north of Chaweng Beach, it is quite remote (1,7 km walk) from the main centre and, though it seems on Google Earth to have a beach, it really doesn't, except at very low tide, and most of the time a thick mass of seaweed makes the sea rather uninviting. There is a sandbank with better sea access at one side of the resort, but the sand there is rather gritty and the whole area seems to be generally used as a tip for the carcasses of rotting boats and general rubbish. Cleaning this area up and adding a layer of fine sand would make a tremendous difference. Worst feature was that we were eaten alive by the voracious mosquitoes: the resort features underground water tanks in front of the villas. These are in principle covered by stones but there are plenty of broken ones and the water serves as a perfect breeding ground...

Mir hat die Lage, und das gemütliche und familiäre Ambiente ist sehr gut gefallen. Die Lage ist außerhalb, für alle geeignet, die es ruhig wollen. Ansonsten hat man alles, was man braucht . Sehr sympathische Chefin und zuvorkommendes und sehr freundliches Personal.

In der Dusche war es ein bisschen schwierig, das Wasser richtig einzustellen, mal kam fast gar nichts. Dann kam relativ viel und kochend heiß. Der Strandabschnitt neben dem Hotel gleicht eine Müllhalde. Hierfür kann die Hotelchefin natürlich nichts. Schade, dass man in Thailand nicht mehr auf den Umweltschutz achtet!!

The tranquility was great and the staff were very helpful. Very comfortable room with a huge bed. Food was very tasty and cocktails ! If you wanted more action the main town was not far away.

Nothing to do with the hotel really but the beach was very dirty but that's just humans and the tide. It was a shame . Didn’t fancy swimming in it .

Der Strandabschnitt neben dem Papillon ist sehr verdreckt, obwohl sich dort ein hochpreisiges Resort befindet.

צוות העובדים היו נחמדים אבל בעלת במקום לא הייתה אדיבה

לא אהבתי שזה נראה היה נטוש, אמרו נוף לגן ולא היה לא נוף ולא גן. המרפסת צפתה לבן גלו אחר במרחק של מטר וחצי מול הפנים. חשוך מאוד, ובעיקר חוסר האדיבות של בעלת המקום שהגיבה בצורה אנטיפתית וצינית.

Trochę stary ośrodek przydałby się remont i wymiana niektórych rzeczy.słaba plaża. zaśmiecony piękny cypel przez rybaków to był by piękny punkt do opalania i kąpieli

The Papillon is an amazing little resort. It is friendly, relaxing and clean. The bungelow style room was a great size and cleaned daily with fresh towls. The owner Valerie coulnt do enough for you wether we wanted extra pillows, water and sorting our return transfer. Po and the rest of the staff team were friendly, and very accomadating. The food was of a very high standard. The swimming pool was cleaned daily and was a perfect size for the complex. The resort was a very friendly, clean with a chilled out vibe. I have no problem recommending this resort to anyone who desires a happy vacation. Thank you Papillon for a teriffic holiday experience. Garry & Steve :-)

Spędziliśmy tam noc przed wylotem do Bangkoku. Bliskość lotniska i restauracji była kluczowa. basen, restauracja i plaża w jednym miejscu. Dobre miejsce na odpoczynek przed podróżą.
