Forest Echoes Cabins

Beautiful property away from the bustle of Cultus lake. Clean and comfortable. Owners are kind and accommodating. Tons of wildlife and baby bunnies. Would recommend highly for a relaxing stay close to all Cultus lake has to offer.

This was a awesome location, that's tucked away, close to Cultus Lake Water Park, Adventure Park, and Main Beach for a family summer trip. The cabin is in great shape and comfortable. For being close to the main road it feels really deep in the forest with the tall trees and creek. Would gladly come back here for another family summer trip.

Great little spot tucked away from the buzz of the lake. We will be back.

Loved the clean and cozy cabin. Very well maintained and in a convenient location. Very quiet, surrounded by beautiful nature. Fast and reliable communication with the host. We enjoyed our stay and hope to come back.

We had a wonderful stay at Forest Echoes Cabins! The cabin was peaceful, clean, and surrounded by beautiful nature — it was the perfect place to relax and recharge. Ellie was very kind and welcoming, and made everything easy for us. We truly appreciated the quiet environment and the cozy atmosphere inside the cabin. Thank you for the lovely experience — we would definitely come back

My friend and her husband booked the second of the two cabins for two days. However, when we arrived the only reservation on record was mine and the other cabin had been booked. When presented with the confirmation number and receipt, the manager stated that she had family issues but that it was no excuse for double booking. She admitted her mistake and offered to find another comparable hotel in the area for my friend and husband. The other option was to share the cabin and she would only charge us for one night. She also offered to purchase adult beverages to compensate for the inconvenience. We took the second option but as of yet, have not been refunded the one night stay. Nor did we receive any “beverages”. The morning of checkout, she drove off at the same time of our departure. She did not stop to thank us or inquire about our stay. While the property is nice, integrity and customer service should be a priority.

As described, it was quite the retreat. The communication was excellent and we would do this again. The wifi was a bit spotty but overall experience was excellent

The bedding (blankets, pillows, sheets) is old, and it seems that it has not been washed since the previous customers. My friend got itchy after using it. The bath towels are old and hard, hurting the skin. They also have a not good smell. We used our towels. The office is always closed from morning to evening. Communication with the host relied on email or text messages. This does not bother us very much, though. Just take your bedding and towels when you come. The kitchen is clean with a complete set of cookware, except for the water kettle. It looks dirty. I boiled water using a pot.

It was a beautiful property. I will be staying again.

Nature trails and close to park hiking and walking trails along Cultus Lake. All a short walk from our cabin

The Great: The location is beautiful, the mountain trail down the road is a five-star perk - an absolutely stunning west coast forest trail, and the cabin was well-enough equipped. The Not as Great: What could be improved are the aesthetics and comfort in the cabin: the bed up top is very springy / sinky and made for sore hips & backs, the folding futon downstairs was not great for a bed or for a sofa - fine for a quick weekend, but we'd have gotten very uncomfortable if we'd needed to spend more time there. The pale green paint throughout is an unfortunate choice (subjective of course, not everyone will notice or care about this) and the lighting is not great with a mix of bright cool white and warm bulbs & some of them exposed. The off-season rate; however, is very good, and the location is excellent, so we weren't too concerned about these and other minor shortcomings, we were thrilled about the fantastic trail down the road. We'd recommend these cabins for two or three nights, but not more because of the beds. The cabins aren't perfect, but it's a friendly vibe there, a beautiful location, and the price is right.

This cozy cabin was in the perfect location as a staging place for day trips in the east Fraser Valley. It had everything we needed to relax after a long day of exploring before prepping a picnic lunch and heading out the next day. The host was very friendly and checked that we had everything we needed. Home away from home!

Had an amazing 3 night stay here during the long weekend. It was so nice and relaxing, the area is close to cultus but its in its own tucked away spot away from all the noise of the main roads and campgrounds. The cabin is so cozy and has everything you could want, including a full kitchen with all the applicances and utensils you need....it was very convenient. It was very clean and the bed was comfy and the backyard is very big and great for badminton or tossing around a frisbee. We loved our stay here and look forward to coming back!

Absolutely cozy and quiet, I liked its privacy.

We were in the area to visit some friends in Chilliwack so we really only slept here but the place was spotless, very comfortable and quiet. Would highly recommend this to others who are looking for a quiet getaway.

Beautiful space and gracious hospitality highly recommend

It was beautiful and peaceful. AC would have been nice.

A quiet getaway

It was a lovely little cabin, check in and out was easy and the cabin was comfortable, clean and well stocked!

Best Expedia stay if you don’t want to drive into the city. My daughter had a volleyball tournament in Abbotsford and I didn’t want to deal with lower valley traffic or hotel prices. Best option out there : definitely going to visit again. Thanks Gary and Ellie

Close by Cultus Lake Park and supermarket nearby.

The property was quiet and no one bothered me.

It was a wonderful stay. Definitely a good place for kids. Big back yard for playing. Even there is much space for 6 people .Hosts were wonderful and for sure will stay there again.

Nice property, lots of open space to roam around. Hot water was instant. Fully equipped kitchen.

Beautiful area!

We enjoyed everything in the property. The lovely spacious backyard, the nature walk in the forest and the two story cabin.

Very quiet and very clean. Great place to stay. Close to cultus lake festivities.

No complaints. Quiet and serene. Nice hosts . Enjoyed my stay with my kiddos .

It was the first time I squirted. So much fun!

Super clean cozy cabin with equiped kitchen. Best for a small group. Very nice hosts. We loved staying there for two nights. It's in walking distance to the lake as well as the trailhead where you can hike for hours.

Easy check in and check out.

It was so peaceful and quiet, an experience everyone should get out and enjoy from time to time.

Great cabin in a quiet woodlyn setting... bunnies scampering around the lawn in the evening.

Very pleasant cabin, good surroundings and location. Would come back!

Homy cabin good for family with little kids. clean and spacious.

Very convenient. Friendly staff.

I loved the rural forest setting. Very poir cell and internet service.

Lots of room, beds, and a full kitchen in a picturesque forest setting. Big back yard with picnic table and lawn chairs Loved the creek across the path and all the large trees, but no bugs to ruin being outside. Great property and just minutes from the beach!

Tranquil forest location. Nice and close to cultus lake attractions but far enough away to be peaceful.

Everybody like the cabin, feel so quiet and home. Definitely will back.
