Riad El Bacha

I loved every second of my accommodation! I really recommend it with my eyes closed to everyone! The Riad is very well located, it is only a few minutes walk from where the famous place where the leather is made is located. It is worth remembering that if, like me, you need to wash clothes, they have this service available, I left my clothes and my mother's with them at the beginning of the day and at the end of the night our clothes were all smelly and dry, promptly to be used again the next day. The bed is very comfortable, the environment is familiar, it is not noisy, the owner is a respectable and very kind man, he helped me with everything I needed. May God bless this place and make them prosper more and more, no doubt when I come back I want to stay here again!!!! 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷💝🙏🏻

Tutto! Gia' la colazione super sulla terrazza con vista sulla città vale il prezzo della stanza. Lo staff gentilissimo, sono venuti a prenderci in piazza nel cuore della notte per il ritardo del nostro aereo e l'ultima notte un'attività nei dintorni ha tenuto la musica alta fino alle due, l'abbiamo fatto presente e in un attimo hanno risolto tutto. Situato nel mezzo della Medina, il Riad è a due passi dalla concerie e da locali e ristoranti. Molto pulito e tipico

Nulla, tutto perfetto. Unico consiglio, se avete il sonno leggero chiedete una stanza non sul lato di passaggio della Medina xe possono esserci rumori fino a tardi.

L'accoglienza di Said e lo staff è stata sublime, sempre disponibile ad ogni tipologia di richiesta. Colazione sulla terrazza davvero molto carina e abbondante. Pulizia buona e camera quadrupla spaziosa. Posizione discreta, sei all'interno della medina ma dista circa 15/20minuti dalla zona più turistica (es. Porta blu).

L'acqua della doccia faceva fatica a defluire. La zona non l'abbiamo percepita molto sicura di sera (non c'entra niente l'host). Come per altre recensioni già lette, ci sarebbero alcune cose da migliore per rendere la stanza più accogliente.

Molto caratteristica e curata, terrazza molto bella. I proprietari super disponibili e sempre pronti a risponderci a qualsiasi richiesta.

Unica pecca: il letto è abbastanza rigido.

The two Saids are very welcoming and hospitable.

The room for the first two days was extremely noisy, with all the windows (without glass) overlooking the Medina. We asked to be moved and were accommodated without any problems because the situation was well known! The reception is practically non-existent, and if you want to find someone, you have to seize the moment. Last year we stayed at a riad that was much cheaper and offered far better facilities. Lastly (and this is a major issue), there was a total lack of transparency regarding costs. We never received an invoice for anything, despite paying strictly in cash.

У этого Риада очень хорошее расположение (это важно в фесе). Зайдя в арку нужно сразу завернуть направо. А дальше искать с правой стороны поворот с указателями. Дойти до основных достопримечательностей и кафе не составляет труда.

Staying at this riad was a truly exceptional experience. The interiors are beautifully designed, full of authentic Moroccan charm and attention to detail. The location is excellent — close to the main sights, yet peaceful enough to relax after exploring the city. Breakfast was fine and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful. A perfect place to stay in Fez.

Riad idéalement situé dans la Medina à proximité d'une des portes d'entrée facilitant l'accès aux transports publics. Riad familial (5 chambres) avec deux terrasses avec vue panoramique pour se reposer et prendre son petit déjeuner. Je recommande la chambre sur la terrasse, un vrai bonheur. Tenu par deux jeunes qui ont contribués à la réussite de notre voyage, d'une grande hospitalité et gentillesse, toujours au petit soin pour nous rendre service: conseils divers, organisation de deux visites, réservation du taxi, accompagnement à la pharmacie, préparation d'un riz blanc pour nous soigner.

L'accueil très chaleureux de Saïd (et Saïd ;-) qui malgré une arrivée tardive et avec du retard est venu nous chercher jusqu'au taxi pour nous emmener jusqu'à l'hôtel. Il s'est aussi occupé de nous trouver une voiture de location et à répondu à toutes nos demandes et bien plus ! Le Riad est très joli avec une superbe terrasse pour prendre le petit déjeuner. Bref on a adoré et on recommande !

Les propriétaires sont très courtois et s’assure que tout est à notre disposition et satisfaction. Ils n’hésitent pas à nous guider et même venir nous reconduire (à pieds) à des restaurants à proximité. Assez difficile de s’y retrouver dans Medina. Ils nous ont aussi préparé un petit déjeuner pqpour emporter car nous quittions très tôt la journée du départ

Les chants de prières tôt le matin nous ont réveillé mais nous nous sommes préparé pour les nuits suivantes. Les indications pour se rendre au Riad, il y a 2 chemins, nous avons pris le plus long. Serait bien de préciser l’accès le plus facile sur la page de présentation

Excellent séjour chez Said et Said. Très attentionnés et de très bon conseils. Riad authentique magnifique. Un grand merci pour toute l’organisation.

Riad molto caratteristico e pulito , tutto perfetto. Said super disponibile nell’aiutarci in ogni nostra richiesta. Abbiamo usufruito anche della cena in struttura, buonissima! Colazione abbondante servita in terrazza da cui si vedeva tutta la Medina!

Отель сказочный. Гостеприимные, дружелюбные администраторы отеля. Оба Саида очень добродушные и веселые, помогали во всем и сориентировали по городу, где вкусно поесть и как пройти. Кровать напомнила царское ложе, побыла Шахерезадой. Очень чисто и вкусные завтраки. Расположение в центре Медины. Рекомендую к проживанию

Matelas et oreillers très durs et inconfortables

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Frühstück auf der Terrasse ist ein Highlight Beide Vermieter waren sehr bemüht haben uns immer geholfen und wertvolle Tipps gegeben. Sie haben uns sogar zum Flughafen gefahren. .

Sauberkeit; wenig Lichtquellen.

Excellent traditional Riad accommodation. The rooms are clean , well decorated, with all facilities. They give clean crisp towels. The place is just in Old historical town where all the action is- no need to keep taking taxis . We saved lots of money on taxis. The roof top is very scenic with tables and chairs and even traditional pillows and mattresses to sit or lay. Getting to the place is very easy, remember Racif square- all taxis and cars come there and from there are porters with big wheels carts to take our luggage for just 20 dirhams ( 2 € ) to the Riyad/ Hotel, we even used those porters to bring our bags from the Riyad to the square and take taxi while leaving. The staff are the crowning glory, there are 2 guys with the same name Said1 and Said 2 😀, it’s very difficult to pick who is the best. One of them was waiting for us at the Racif square at night 1.30 am to welcome us and take us to the Riad as our chauffeur arranged by the Riad ( we paid 25€) brought us from the airport . Said got us to the Riad and got us to our rooms and’s took our bags too, and even brought bottled water and refused to take money. The other Said next day explained all the touristic places and arranged incredible delicious breakfast on rooftop which was included in our stay. The lady in the kitchen is a polite caring person and makes delicious food. She brought us mint tea freshly prepared by her to the rooftop. They all 3 helped us in many ways and made our stay comfortable and memorable. I will come again just to meet them and absorb their genuine smiles.

The property is traditional and classy hence does not have elevator. Climbing stairs are sometimes tedious. The staff totally helps in carrying our bags. But we did not ask them to carry us on their backs 😜😂. We considered climbing stairs as our workout for our thighs and feet.

Les hôtes ont été très accueillants. Ils ont toujours été disponibles et très agréables. Situation parfaite du riad à l'entrée de la médina. Très beau riad, très belles chambres, terrasse très agréable et super petit-déjeuner.

Le paiement en carte bancaire serait un plus.

Les 2 belles terrasses avec magnifique vue sur Fes et le fait de pouvoir y prendre son petit déjeuner. La gentillesse et la grande disponibilité des 2 "Said" . Le petit déjeuner est simple mais suffisant et avec des produits frais.

Le matelas de notre chambre n etait pas confortable , on a eu mal au dos. Il.n y avait que 2 cintres dans la petite armoire et surtout pas de crochets pour faire sécher les serviettes de bain ni de tapis de douche. Un fruit en plus du jus d'orange aurait été bien.

Colazione in terrazza al mattino con vista sulla medina molto bella e ricca. Menzione speciale per Said, gentilissimo a consigliarci cosa vedere e a soddisfare tutte le nostre richieste. Riad molto caratteristico e particolare proprio all'interno della Medina. Apprezzata la disponibilità e l'accoglienza di Said, sempre premuroso e pronto per ogni necessità. Colazione ottima, forse la migliore fatta in Marocco e in una bellissima terrazza che ti permette la vista su tutta Fez vecchia.

La camera prenotata non era quella che ci è stata assegnata, avendolo fatto notare ci è però stato proposto il cambio che però abbiamo scelto di non fare. La struttura avrebbe bisogno di un pò di ristrutturazione, ma ha comunque un fascino particolare. Non consigliata ha chi ha problemi di mobilità perchè con molte scale abbastanza scomode.

Il Riad è molto bello. Sia le camere che gli altri spazi. Ha anche un terrazzo bellissimo con vista sulla medina. I gestori sono molto accoglienti e disponibilissi. Lo consiglio sicuramente per un soggiorno nel cuore della città.

Prijazno osebje. Bogat zajtrk na strehi riada s čudovitim pogledom na celo mesto.

Težja dostopnost. Sicer na tihi in mirni lokaciji ampak v času najinega bivanja je bilo zraven nastanitve gradbišče, na kar lastnik nima vpliva.

Great location in the Medina, the host was so lovely and accommodating and helped arrange activities for us. The breakfast each morning on the rooftop was amazing!

There was a construction site next door and our room was next to the communal area/courtyard of the riad so there was a bit of extra noise

Sïad, the manager was fantastic, kind and helpful. He spoke excellent English. Breakfast was simple but excellent. Loved the variety of freshly made breads.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour ! Couleurs locales garanties ! Un superbe riad, son authenticité nous a beaucoup plu. Les chambres sont plus que spacieuses et la literie excellente. Nos hôtes ont été aux petits soins. Un superbe accueil et une grande gentillesse. De bons conseils pour les visites. Pour l'arrivée, ne pas hésiter à les appeler car c'est un peu difficile à s'orienter pour la première fois dans la Medina et à trouver l'adresse.

Lors de notre séjour, la météo n'a pas été bonne et il y avait des courants d'air dans le patio/salon commun.

The staff was exceptional from the moment we arrived to the moment we left — truly a cut above. They picked us up at the airport (€25) and drove us straight to the Riad, right in the heart of the Medina. From there, they were an invaluable source of tips and recommendations that really helped us make the most of our time in Fes. And when we had early starts, they kindly prepared takeaway breakfasts for us without any fuss — that kind of thoughtful touch makes all the difference. Speaking of breakfast: the rooftop experience is absolutely not to be missed. Stunning views, generous spread, and a wonderful way to start the day. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and offer excellent value for money. We couldn't have asked for a better base for our Fes adventure. Highly recommended!

Bardzo czysto. Przepiękny tara z widokiem na medynę i przepyszne śniadanie ze świeżym sokiem z pomarańczy. Właściciel pomógł mi znaleźć odpowiedni hammam do wieczornego relaksu.

La camera spaziosa, con una bella atmosfera, il soffitto in legno, le finestre nel chiostro etc.. La colazione ottima servita in terrazza panoramica.

La struttura è nella Medina, ad in paio di minuti dall’ingresso e googlemap non aveva individuato l’esatta posizione. Said ci e’ venuto a prendere e dunque non ci sono stati problemi. La consigliamo per coloro che si vogliono immergere al pieno nella bellissima città di Fez.

Notre séjour dans ce Riad était des plus agréable. Nous avons été chaleureusement accueilli par les hôtes qui sont d’une gentillesse rare. La chambre avait un accès direct à la terrasse avec une vue panoramique sur Fès El Badi. Le petit-déjeuner était copieux et délicieux. Enfin, les hôtes se sont montrés au petit soins à chaque instant, nous ont donné de précieux conseils et se sont chargés du transfert Riad-Aéroport. Le Riad El Bacha est sans doute le meilleur établissement pour découvrir Fès.

We liked the location. It's very easy to find it once you reach the main square in the Medina. Our stay was exceptional. The staff was amazing, they were waiting for us and they responded immediately to our call. They also suggested to us places that we could visit and on our departure day they even call for a taxi to the airport and they walkedus to the taxi driver. Also, the breakfast was really tasty. The room was spacious. It was kinda of smelly but it's normal in Morocco and for sure we could live and sleep in there. The view from the terasse was awesome.

We loved everything. If we even go back to Fes, we will definitely and for sure book this riad again. Value for money stay and they offer more than you expect.

Le Riad est très bien en rapport qualité-prix. Les hôtes sont très gentils et très serviables. Said a fait le maximum pour rendre notre séjour agréable.

I ragazzi, Said e Said, che gestiscono il Riad mi hanno accolta con grande calore, facendomi sentire subito parte della famiglia. Il riad si trova in una posizione molto comoda per visitare la città, ideale per muoversi facilmente e scoprire le principali attrazioni. La struttura è ben tenuta, curata e accogliente. Inoltre, c’è una splendida terrazza dove potersi rilassare e godere dall’alto l’atmosfera della medina: un valore aggiunto al soggiorno.

Il proprietario Said é bravissimo, ottimi consigli e sempre disponibile. La struttura é semplice e accogliente, ottima posizione. Camere ampie. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. E se hai un problema, Said lo risolve!

Nejlepší ubytování v celém Maroku. Krásný, prostorný a čistý pokoj s velkou koupelnou. Terasa s posezením, kde jsme měli výbornou snídani. Velmi milý pan Saíd, který byl neskutečně vstřícný. Mohli jsme si zde nechat kufry ještě před tím, než byl připravený náš pokoj a jít do města. Saíd byl celou dobu nápomocný a druhý den nás osobně dovedl až k taxi, které nás zavezlo na parkoviště.

The Riad is authentic and has a beautiful rooftop terrace with 360° view of the old town. Saïd & Saïd are very friendly and helpful. They communicate well through the phone and in person, they made me feel home, and arranged great taxi service and pick up to walk together to the riad (as the first time, it would be quite hard to find the location).

The riad could use some maintenance and softer matrasses. I do NOT recommend booking tours with the riad as it was overpriced and the tour agents skipped half of the program that standard tours everywhere do provide. The breakfast was a lot of different breads, very tasty, but missed fruits or yoghurt for healthy option.

Un sitio maravilloso. Además Said y su compañero, también llamado Said, son unas bellísimas personas. Nos han tratado mejor de lo que han podido, super serviciales y muy pendientes del cliente en todos los aspectos! Si vuelvo repetiré en su Riad.

L'hôtel est merveilleux une accueil tres tres sympa. Merci a toi Mr Said pour ta disponibilité et ton soutien. Seul problème il faut marcher 15mn pour trouver l'hôtel car pas accessible en voiture. Donc pour les bagages un peu volumineux 😜😜. Par contre pour mon prochain voyages je vais y retourner.

Os meninos são incríveis! Fazem de tudo para que você se sinta a vontade, explicam tudo sobre a redondeza, e ajudam no que mais precisar. Comunicação em inglês sem problema algum, e ajudam no que você precisam. Foi o melhor Riad que ficamos no Marrocos, considerando o custo-benefício.

Tiene una terraza dónde tomar el desayuno. Habitación muy amplia. Said es un anfitrión maravilloso. Mi marido, mi hijo y yo nos vamos encantados con su forma de atendernos. Nos vino a buscar al taxi y nos ayudó en todo momento si lo necesitábamos.

Our hosts Said and Said were so helpful and kind. The Riad is beautiful and has the best view from the shady terrace. Location is perfect.

Some of the beds were uncomfortable and it would make a huge difference to upgrade sheets and towels. I would definitely book again despite this due to amazing staff and location.

This riad is the best one we were staying during our Morocco trip, and we changed 5/6 of them. The owners of the Riad are so nice and they were here for anything we need. Rooms are very big and comfortable with everything we can possibly need during our stay. Breakfast is amazing, and you can have it on a terrace with a view of whole medina. If we are coming to Fes again we would definitely choose the same accomodation.

We spent 4 days in this fantastic Riad in the Medina of Fes. The hosts, both named Said, are two special people—kind and welcoming. They met all our needs and organized every tour for us, both in and outside of Fes, during our stay. The location is excellent, easily reachable from one of the main gates at Rcif Square, about a 3-minute walk. The Riad is clean and equipped with everything you need for your vacation, featuring the typical architecture of a Moroccan Riad. The breakfast is generous and very good, carefully served—even on the terrace when the weather is nice—with a stunning view over the entire Medina.

How well taken care of the host is. He made us tea & coffee, helped us organize taxis and more. We felt very safe and comfortable.

The property was beautiful and the location was fantastic - right in the Medina! The best part, though, was definitely Saïd. He was such an excellent host and went above and beyond for us. He helped us book & plan our travels and activities, made us delicious breakfasts (very early when we had to leave early), and was always there for us if we needed anything at all. 10/10 service, highly recommend this Riad for you Fes trip!

I can highly recommend this riad! You will be welcomed by the warmest and friendliest staff ever and there is just a great atmosphere. We got help with everything, we didn‘t have to walk to restaurants or the bus stop by ourselves but got guided and when we got lost in the medina we got immediately help on whats app. The terrace has a breathtaking view and the breakfast is really good. When we left for our Sahara trip early they even packed a breakfast bag for us. I would definitely stay there again, so if you read this, this is your sign to book Riad El Bacha, you won‘t regret it :)

Said was a very nice, caring and friendly host. I felt safe and comfortable in this riad. The view from the roof terrace 360° over the city was wonderful. My room was located next to the roof top terrace. The room was spacious. Good location of the riad in the medina.

I have been travelling since a long time and it’s one of the top three places I have ever stayed, Said and said are some of the best hosts you can ever find, helping you out on even topics even they don’t have to :) the view from the toproof, breakfast the design of the interior, the rooms is crazy beautiful♥️ you have everything you need from hot water beautiful showers good breakfast and a good stay with good location

The only bad side was we had to change our programme as we were not expecting a city and a riad as good as this with such a price ✨they made us want more, we will have to come back here as soon as possible and just stay in the riad

Said is a great host, we were very welcomed. We arrived late at night and we were met at the train station and brought to the Riad quickly and comfortably. Rooms are beautiful. Said made tea for us and helped to solve all the issues. People at the Riad were wonderful, breakfast on the terrasse was very nice. We loved Fès a lot and hope to come back. Merci beaucoup 💖

Incredible Riad, the hosts were really nice, helping all the time. It is located right in the middle of the zouk, excellent location. Very good quality-price. Totally recommended when you go to Fez.

Great position in the center of the Medina, few meters from Place Rcif where taxis can drop you off. The riad is very simple and spartan, yet for the price of a cheap european hostel you get a big room with private bathroom plus a good breakfast. There is a nice terrace at the top. Overall our experience at this riad was pleasant even though there were some small improvable things, e.g. the floor is not perfectly horizontal and so are the beds, the rooms are not remade every day... All in all I would recommend this riad to young people, group of friends and people who are adaptable and on a budget.

Having breakfast with the jacket is not the best experience, maybe some heating could have helped.

The riad is beautiful and near all the spots in Fes. Said is the best host ever! Very helpful, friendly, kind and super professional, he helped us in everything: transportation, info on main spots in the city, tours, laundry, best restaurants. The trip was awesome and beyond thanks to him!
