This place is amazing, staff are friendly and helpful. The foods amazing. The steak pie loaded fries are absolutely amazing and glad the young lad recommended them. Drinks are cheap too still getting change of a tenner for proper decent pints. Just can’t fault the place at all.

Spacious, relatively quiet (could hear movement on floor above at times), comfortable furnishings, supplies and appliances provided to make our stay great. Gastro Pub onsite if you are wanting food.

NO WIFI! (weak signal) Not as clean as you may expect for a hotel property (cobwebs across the above-bed lights, corner in back bedroom (behind door when open but noticeable at night when closed) caked in dust).

There’s no AC and we had to request a fan. It was super hot in the room when we arrived. Cooler outside so opened a window & door. The window only opens partially. After the first day & we got a fan, it was better. The dresser drawers were falling apart when opened & I had to clean the insides of them. Breakfast was ok - not a lot to choose from. No alternative to dairy for coffee for the first 2 days we stayed.

Staff were really good, especially the lady on reception when we arrived. Food was very nice both evening meal and breakfast.

Slightly disappointed with some aspects of the room as bedsheet had holes in it, duvet was ill fitting. No plug in bathroom basin. Annoying humming sound which stopped very late and started again early morning.

Booked a double room, got a twin. Room was tired and in need of general work.

Room 2 had a massive and very comfortable bed. The breakfast was quite good, maybe a better choice of cereals would have been nice. Used the hotel restaurant one evening and the food was very good.

The shower wasn't as clean as I would have liked, my wife had to clean some mould away herself.

The staff were friendly.

Our room was really dusty, the headboard had a really thick layer of dust and I don't know when the bedside cabinets had been last moved to clean behind. We asked for a different room but the hotel was full so the receptionist went up to clean it. We had a twin room, the beds were really narrow and quite soft. Neither the pillows or the mattress had protectors on. The hotel was very noisy, doors slamming, everything creaks when people walk by, we didn't sleep well at all. Breakfast had a limited buffet selection.

Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen zwischen Glasgow und Edinburgh. Die Zimmer waren einfach eingerichtet, aber sauber. Das Essen im Restaurant war gut. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Leider ging im Bad das Licht nicht über dem Waschbecken sowie der Lüfter. Die Zimmer sind zum Parkplatz raus, so dass es recht früh laut wird.

Ein sehr gutes 3 Sterne Hotel. Die Zimmer waren sauber und hatten alles was man braucht. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Restaurant & Pub im Haus mit gutem Bier und leckerem Essen. Eine schöne Promenade am Wasser zum Spazieren gehen gibt es ebenfalls in der Nähe.

Matratzen waren sehr weich.

Die Zimmer waren sehr hellhörig und ich hatte ständig das Gefühl, dass jemand in unserem Zimmer steht. Die Ausstattung und das Zimmer waren leider sehr heruntergekommen und auch dreckig und fleckig.

The hotel was a very unpleasant surprise, at least for Scotland. This should not be considered a 3 stars hotel. Except for the bed sheets and towels, eveything was dirty and dusty: starting with the stairs we went through the room and continuing with the carpet floor inside the room, which was not even vacuumed for a long period of time, the walls, the bedsides, blinds or the bathroom.... In the room it was an unbreathable air when the window was closed due to the dust. I have a dog allergy and before booking and I asked the hotel if they also have non pet-friendly rooms and they said yes. Two days before arriving (and of course after paying the room), they told me they cannot guarantee that in my room has never been a dog, because those rooms were before also pet-friendly. The noise made by the floors from both room and HOL (they were literarly cracking), and neighbours' doors makes the sleep impossible. We lacked any kind of soap or shampoo in our room. All in all, it was one of the worst experience we have ever had.

The living room and bathroom were nice.

The bedrooms in the apartment. They seemed like an add-on and the beds were not comfortable.

Hôtel pratique pas trop loin de l'aéroport si on veut éviter d'entrer dans Edinbourg et continuer le lendemain vers le nord ou l'ouest.

Had dinner in the restuarant, live music started at 8pm, at the beginning of our meal. Could not converse with each other due to the volume. Would suggest music does not start until 9pm when dining has concluded

It was average

Upon checking in we were informed by reception that the restaurant was closed that night. Only three pillows on the bed and one bedside lamp. TV was not straightforward to use and we couldn't switch it on or off without disconnecting. Housekeeping/cleaning could have been better.

Das zweite Zimmer war über dem Restaurant und der Gasofen oder ein anderes Gerät war so laut, dass man nicht schlafen konnte. Trotz mehrfacher Reklamationen dauerte das Geräusch bis nach Mitternacht an und begann um 06:00 wieder. Wir haben in dieser Nacht nur wenig geschlafen !

Nous n'avons pas aimé grand chose lors de notre passage, le petit déjeuner était cependant correct. Il est facile de se garer.

Tarif exorbitant !!! pour le service et la qualité de la chambre. La chambre n'avait que les lits et le linge de bain propre. La moquette n'était pas propre, la peinture de la chambre réalisée de façon médiocre. Le pommeau de douche était cassé, la lunette des toilettes n'était pas en parfait état non plus. La chambre avait une décoration très passable, la salle de bain sans aucune décoration. Pas d'ascenseur, difficulté pour monter les valises dans un escalier exiguë. Le lit bébé fourni n'avait pas de matelas ! Le restaurant de l'hôtel : service très lent attente environ 1h pour un dîner de 4 personnes !

We had to remind the reception desk to give us the luggage that was delivered The trash bin in our room was not emptied from the previous lodger There is no lift We had to carry our own luggage, first up the stairs, then down the hall to another staircase down to a landing, and then back up another flight of stairs to get to our room. The light over the sink will not turn on If that was a fan in the bathroom, it did not work The shower door was off it’s track The shower handle was cracked, so that water streamed out of the handle in addition to the shower head The electrical wall socket where the kettle was plugged did not work We would have preferred two pillows for each person instead of just the one.

Room was on the ground floor adjacent to the main reception, which was great for easy access with our bikes, which were allowed to keep in our room. Breakfast in the restaurant the next morning was great value.

We stayed at this hotel in Room 23. The room was described as superior double room and was not as viewed on the website. In addition the shower was broken and the room did not include tea when we tried to make a cup this morning. The price we paid appears not to include breakfast which we had to pay separately this morning incidentally the room rate quoted online last night was £111 a more reasonable rate for room 23. We paid circa £180 plus £26 for breakfast We have separately emailed the hotel at enquiries@richmondparkhotel.com to register our complaint as the reception staff were unable to provide satisfactory response. The management do not appear to have a voice and the breakfast front of house consisted of one person who appears to have unfortunately broken down, when suddenly 3 staff appeared when she disappeared. We hope our complaint is now responded to as we were misled by your booking system

Le personnel était adorable, serviable.

L’isolation des chambres est totalement à refaire des murs au plafond. On entend les bruits des canalisations des autres chambres, les gens qui ronflent au dessus dans la chambre à l’étage.

We booked last minute as we needed a place to stay the night before our flight and for this reason it was perfect. Very convenient location when coming from the highlands and going to the airport. Nice pub with good food, we can recommend the steak pie, and even had a singer on Saturday night. Comfortable beds. Good value for money.

Het was een prettige accommodatie op de begane grond met een tuin waar we nog heerlijk in de zon konden zitten. Parkeren kon op enkele meters afstand.

De keuken was niet goed schoongemaakt, de oven was ronduit vies. De rest van de accommodatie was schoon.

absolutely disgusted, in there bookings, our flights were cancelled, by two days,, there staff said, we can re-book for two days latter at a cost of 100 pounds, but said the bath, is not working, we was told, if we re book also at a latter date, they would refund the 100 pounds,, thinking how nice of them, a week later we re-booked for a night, paid by bookings.com. no mention of 100 pound discount, unfortunately, our rental car had problems and unable to drive to the motel, we phoned day prior to cancel the night, the staff then said its not our problem and have to contact bookings.com. they replied contact Richmond park hotel, we then called them and they said we cannot refund your money and even 1/2 as per e-mail, still today nothing we will never go back there. Please guys, make sure you don't cancel your bookings, because you will never get anything back, there only interest is $$$$$$$$$ we don't recommend Richmond Park Hotel....

Zelo dobra lokacija, samo nekaj minut oddaljena od znamenitega mesteca Linlithgow z znamenito palačo, znano kot rojstni kraj škotske kraljice Marije Stuart; na ulici High street pa je plejada starinskih barov. V samem mestecu bivanja (Bo'ness) so ob vodi čudovita sprehajališča

Stekla na oknih so bila neočiščena, poleg tega se okna ni dalo odpreti več kot nekaj cm. Pri odprtem oknu in vratih wc-ja se je slišao škripanje (cviljanje) turbine, ki je nameščena v zračniku.

dusty room. rusty toilet holder, blinds didn`t work properly, nice touch of having a fan thou. Although the Scottish breakfast was quite nice, no tomato sauce available, the offering off only one cereal, muesli ? in an uncovered dish. in the heat with doors open to the outside..put me off. tea, coffee was in flasks. So they weren`t fresh. The juices were just in jugs and as we had a late breakfast, it wasn`t fresh and cold.

This was a "convenience" booking primarily due to location and it didn't disappoint in terms of comfort, cleanliness and facilities.

Service in restaurant was a little slow but most likely due to staff shortages and didn't detract from the food once served

Dog was barking during first nights stay, a car horn and bag pipes were constantly making noises second morning from 8am neither hotels fault as was from surrounding houses. However was a bit off putting to stay at that location again. Could of had a fridge in room.

Beautiful location and room was lovely and cosy. Bed was so comfy and good spacious room with a bath which was nice and big too. Staff were really friendly and breakfast was nice. Thank you so much for the two little bottles of Prosecco aswell very kind of you for my partners early birthday celebrations. I also loved the decor in the room the feature wall wallpaper was gorgeous behind the bed

There was a few minor things that could be improved like a little lick of paint over the leak stain on ceiling. Also next day lady asked about room keeping which I said yes but unfortunately she didn’t come back which would have been nice refil of coffee and tea but no biggie.

Booked Bed only. Room was large and airy, fronting the front of the hotel. We were warned about a wedding in hotel on Saturday night, but they were all amazing and the music stopped at 11am as promised. Guests were just lovely and everyone wanted to say hello to our beagle, Bonnie who came with us. Bed was super comfortable with great pillow. Shower was great with lovely products. Tea & coffee making facilities. Good TV. would stay again. On the edge of a park, so we could walk Bonnie safely and she loved it.

We visited this hotel as my husband was taking part in Tough Mudder about 10 minutes away. The hotel was stunning, very clean and tidy. The staff were all brilliant, kind and helpful. The room was huge and very nicely presented. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant downstairs and the food was excellent! There was a barman who was outstanding as well (his name might have been Luke but not sure, what I do remember is he was from Paisley) he made excellent drink recommendations and just generally provided us with a brilliant experience. Breakfast the next morning had plenty of choice and was perfectly tasty. Overall we both would love to come back to this hotel and plan to try and talk the group of people doing Tough Mudder with him next year to stay here the night before again.

Absolutely the worst place ever ! What should have been a nice start to a family vacation in Scotland became an absolute nightmare. We arrived and the hotel was hosting the loudest party right beneath our room. Our two young daughters (nine months and 4 years) were unable to sleep due to the extremely loud and thumping noise. The management refused to act and simply said that it was their right to host parties. We were given no prior warning despite having reserved well in advance. So I guess that future guests might suffer the same fate. Absolutely a place to avoid - also because of the absolutely un empathic service by the management. I repeat : avoid this place !

The hotel is in a quiet town, not that far from Edinburgh, but very handy to all tourist attractions. The staff were really nice & helpful. There was plenty of parking. On site restaurant was great.

The room was very dusty/dirty, they were also very run down. There was a wedding on which was a nice surprise when we got to the property, then trying to get to sleep was like sleeping in the middle of a nightclub with live music going on till around midnight, the floors were paper thin. We stayed as we were getting a flight from Edinburgh airport, wouldn’t recommend if you’re doing the same or want to sleep
