The number of rooms and bathrooms and the size of the general areas
Fantastic place to stay when visiting the area!
Loved the quiet and staying somewhere historic. a special gem of a place. Kept in touch with owner Daniel and his son Marc-Antoine during our stay - not intrusive and very pleasant communications.

Magnifique endroit historique
Clean and authentic experience, friendly owner, comfy rooms and setting
Excellent quiet location. Very cordial and excellent service.
Friendly, welcoming host, superb breakfast, very clean facilities, very welcoming envirnment for guests from around the world, modern facilities in Quebec building dating back a few centuries.
Wonderful beautiful old home very cozy. Daniel the host was excellent. Breakfast was fantastic.
Absolutely fabulous. We met the most wonderful lady, Jenine. (not sure of the spelling) She spoke little English and I little French but she was so warm and loving that we fell in love with her. Great country breakfast in a great old country home. On our return trip we intend to over night again to be with Jenine. This time I have a translation app.
Dan was a very good host, helping us with directions, etc. He prepared an excellent breakfast...the room was very comfortable and the facilities were quaint and charming in a handy location.
Daniel, the proprietor of the B&B is terrific. The breakfast he served was unbelievable. He's engaging with the guests and shares his knowledge of the area. Location is ideal. 4 stars o
Great property with history and lovely grounds. Very tasty and good value breakfast included. Owner is very friendly.
We stayed here for three nights and it was great! It was a cheaper alternative to staying in Quebec City. Daniel, the owner,is awesome! The food was great, our room was super comfortable and clean. This is our second time staying at this bed and breakfast and it won't be our last.
It's an experience totally different than regular hotels. You cut tiny bit from usual comfort offered at regular but you get much more in return. The house preserved the rustique style and with antique pieces of furniture you get very good vibe. The service was very good. The breakfast was amazing. A lot of variety, with many choices of fresh foods, vegetables and fruits from local. If not all, many were organic (bio), with great taste. It's a hidden gem, and I can only congratulate the owner, Daniel.
It was a very pleasant stay. Peaceful and serene. Daniel was very helpful and knowledgeable in suggesting attractions.
Friendly host. Relaxing getaway. Will definitely consider a second trip for cycling this summer.
Sehr charmantes Bed & Breakfast.
This was my and my husband's first time staying at a B&B.It was wonderful. The hosts were awesome, the food was great and our room was wonderful. It was clean and the bed was so comfy! We will definitely be back in the future. Highly recommend Le Clos des Brumes.
A very old charming house with a wonderful owner..
We arrived late in the evening but our host had made arrangements for us to call him when we arrived at the B&B. By the time we brought our luggage to our room, he had arrived to greet us and make arrangements for breakfast. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choices.
Comfortable, cozy, beautiful place. Super friendly and helpful staff.
We absolutely loved our stay at Le Clos des Brumes! A charming, nicely appointed, historical house in a great location, Le Clos des Brumes was a delight. Our host was warm, gracious, and happy to give us tourist tips as well as share the history of the Inn and the area. The breakfasts were delicious, local and fresh, with a great variety of options. The other guests were friendly and fun to talk to as well. We were only about 20 miles from Quebec City, and right up the road from the impressive Basilica of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré. We wish we could have stayed longer and look forward to returning when we can!
Old b&b with lovely stone and wood on main areas. Rooms are tired but effort has been made on the important stuff, including very comfy beds and updated bathroom sink & toilet etc. Very clean. The pearl of this place is it's owner Daniel who goes out of his way to make guests feel very welcome and is extremely helpful. Breakfast is lovely and generous with authentic Québécois fare. Highly recommend.
My mother and I were looking into family history in the Cote de Beaupre, and Daniel was a fountain of knowledge, giving us access to some books that he has had bound of local historical documents, including the history of local land transfers or disputes settled for the past 350 years in Chateau Richer. And the food was all locally produced and delicious. The beds in our room were short (as were the people of the 1760's), but very comfortable. The house itself is magical - wonderfully restored.
Close to downtown's Quebec, Montmorency falls and Orleans island. Daniel was very welcoming. Excellent breakfast, excellent stay. Very cosy. I would definitely recommend this place and come back next time I have the opportunity to visit Quebec city.
The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. The breakfast is very good. It is easy to access the B&B. The house is sitting up behind a wood. It is not far from highway 138 but we have no issue during the night. The owner takes good care of the property as well as the guests.
Very friendly owner. Clean place, amazing breakfast! Great location. Close to the Sainte-Anne church, Mont Sainte-Anne, the canyon etc. Nice historical house. I definitely recommend and will go back!
The hostess, Jeannine, and her grand-daughter, Marie, were exceptionally gracious. We found this lodging to be most comfortable and superbly clean. Breakfast home-cooked in a lovely room and fellow guests were congenial. We just loved our sejourn there. It is a special place to stay and we felt very much at home.
Great little place. A hidden gem. Rooms are small but adequate. Private bath. Highlight was the breakfast. Daniel, the owner, is your personal chef. Outstanding!!!
Le Clos des Brumes is a lovely place, full of charm and character. We were warmly welcomed and Daniel, our host, was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a traditional Quebecois petit dejeuner each morning. The area has many beautiful attractions and is close to Quebec city and many other charming spots.
Upon entering the charming home, a personal note of welcome was posted following with a warm greeting. The room was immaculate and the bed was of most comfort. It felt like a small getaway and was close 20 minute drive to Quebec City. Daniel was an enthusiastic and warm host- preparing a cornucopia of choices for breakfast and a heart warming conversations. We would definitely return and recommend le clos de blumes for future guests !
Great breakfast! Excellent staff. Would definately stay there again.
good. We wanted a hotel. The title was wrong, it is a bed and breakfast
We loved this bed and breakfast. It is an old house, very rustic setting, off a scenic road. The entrance is a steep drive up a dirt driveway, so be prepared for this when you arrive! The proprietor was cheerful and welcoming, and he is a font of information about the area. (It helps to know French.) No air conditioning or hotel amenities, but the bathroom was updated and sparkling, and there was free wifi throughout the house. Beds and linens were just fine. The breakfast, however, was exceptional. Really, the best breakfast we had in Quebec. Everything you could want -- things we never get elsewhere -- plus all the usual breakfast foods. Also worth mentioning is that there were a lot of people staying there, at least 7 other adults besides me and my husband appeared at breakfast, and we didn't hear a thing. Very quiet! This is a place to go if you appreciate true quiet. We loved it. I didn't give it the highest rating for room comfort, only because the room was a bit crowded and no luggage rack, but these are minor matters. I'd recommend this place highly.
It was a nice day and the temperature was over 30 *C , so the room temperature was up to 28*C, didn't sleep well. Other than this, it was a very nice stay! Definitely recommend!
The owner is very friendly. After reserving, I got his welcome mail immediately. The breakfast is excellent. It's good for family.
The rooms are clean and comfortable, the owner friendly and helpful, breakfast great
Very comfortable place. Friendly and helpful proprietor Daniel took great care of us and prepared a delicious and interesting breakfast every morning.
We committed to the hotel 21:30 but arrived around 12:30AM. And we had to call the host because we lost with the GPS. Surprisingly he is so nice! I can never feel via phone that he was uncomfortable to receive the call at midnight.
A really good house with everything included and the host is a really friendly gentleman. I will recommend everyone to take a rest here.
