Everything was up to par. I love it

While the facilities are well kept and clean it's outdated and could do with a modernizing make over. But overall decent place.

This is cheap for the area and ideal for budget travellers. Aircon is good and bed is perfectly fine. Free parking outside.

Staff was always courteous and accommodating; and even before my trip they addressed my concerns via email. The place needs some renovations, but overall, always a pleasant stay.

No bars and no entertainment but there’s bars in walking distance Very quiet area the staff are friendly

This property may be close to the Gap, but the only good thing about it was the delightful staff, who tried to compensate for the unfortunate conditions of the place

I love the ambiance felt welcoming and will go back and stay there as long as there’s room I especially love that I can just walk 5 minutes to the beach I love staying there!

Stay was ok. Noisy because its at the road side. Cleanliness was not bad. Reception was great. I would stay there again

Our stay at Melrose Beach Apartments was very good; except for noise from the traffic. The unit faced the street and there was a lot of noise during most of the time. The unit was clean; beds were comfortable; and the staff friendly.

My stay was amazing the staff is very friendly and so helpful that I appreciated so much. My Appartments was very clean and it was maintained throughout my stay. I must say the best thing about staying at Melrose Beach Appartments everything is with in walking distance! Food restaurant bank and the Beach my favorite foe an early morning swim. I highly recommend staying there.

It’s good for the price , short stay for business trip

I enjoyed my stay. However the hotel is located near the main road so it gets a little noisy at nights with passing vehicles. The window needs to be upgraded. The room was quite clean. Will visit again.

I arrived late at night for a stay at The Sands right down the street, but I didn't want to spend the money for the all-inclusive resort for the first night, just to immediately go to bed and then leave to go sailing the next morning. So, I booked my first night at Melrose to save a couple hundred dollars. Melrose's rooms are more like small apartments than hotel rooms. It's not luxurious, but it's clean and I had zero issues, and it's equipped so that you could easily stay there for a while (kitchen, etc). I was very pleased with it--it's a ton of value for the money if you just need a good simple place to stay. I've stayed at everywhere from air-conditioned tents in the Sahara or little rural inns in the Himalayas, to the Westin St. Francis and the Waldorf-Astoria, and I don't think you'll do better than this place on an island near the beach for the price they charge.

This place is easy to find, close to a beautiful clean beach, and also close to a couple grocery stores and restaurants. It had a kitchen and the AC worked very well. There was some road noise through the night but nothing that kept us awake. Wifi worked but a little spotty. Pretty clean and in decent condition.

The Property was clean and well maintained and centrally located, The Decor in the pictures did not match but not a big deal and the only thing would make it much better is new upgraded solid panel glass windows vs the old fashion luvars that allow noise to come in specially with lots of honking vehicles.

Very friendly and professional team. We really enjoyed our stay. The Apartment was perfect with really good balcony. Very thing worked perfectly ac and hot water .. tv etc very comfortable beds

i liked the people the area but conditions was bad could not watch tv not even barbados news hot water was not there and the water was running low

Hotel is basic but clean, lots of noise from main road, booked 2 rooms only one available when we turned up, despite several confirmation emails from property and hotels.com

The location is fabulous Staff (especially Tiffany) were wonderful and extremely pleasant and helpful

The property is within walking distance to everything, beach is not far and is very nice. Rooms are clean, very basic. Downfall is the traffic out on the main road, very loud 24 hrs a day. Must keep all windows and doors closed to try to block it out.

Perfect for the night, everything was walking distance will stay again.

It’s an older hotel but it’s relatively clean, and the staff are very friendly. Given the expensive hotels on the island it’s good value for money.

Fantastic location very easy access to everything. Super service by all the staff. A little dated but had everything we needed. Will definitely stay again.

Very close to beach, off property entertainment -music & food -and transportation at the front door. No gym but was able to exercise with my own jump-rope on the terrace. Of course, being able to swim everyday in the ocean at back door of hotel was a plus. Staff very nice.

Easy location to rue airport for a quick overnight

Great staff, it's very clean and easy to get to. We had a problem with the street noise and since we only stayed for 3 days, just accepted it. When we checked out, we mentioned it and they told us they would have put us in a room further from the street had they known we we having this problem. Very cooperative. Great location, only a few steps to the beach. supermarket is just down the street and no problem getting a bus or a cab. We would stay there again.

Hotel was close to public transportation which was convenient for us but the noise of the traffic was not so good. Building needs maintenance and improve the up keep of the facility. Otherwise, for the price that we paid can't complain too much

Excellence at its best.. Great place only issue was a bit of construction on the main road and the easy accessed Beach was closed. But it was still an excellent stay the front desk girl (kept forgetting her Name) was excellent.

Excellent stay, beach was closed but found another one (Accra) a few mins away.

No one was there to check us in at night. Also when we checked out there was no one at the desk.

This has Been my second stay at Melrose. The apartment is first class.The staff is extremely helpful and gracious.Tiffany always went the extra mile. Looking forward to returning.

Staff very friendly and helpful. The location is in tourist area and lots activity near by. Across road is 24hour restaurant and games room.

You are in a great spot near a great beach but it has alpt of road noise only negative. I tool a noisemaker to drown oout traffic

The hotel was in a very convenient area for us, close to restaurants and especially the beach. They could update a few of their appliances though. Service always given with a smile. Room was cleaned every day. Although an older hotel, the apartment was spacious enough for us. The balcony was great. However, we were close to the main street and traffic very very noisy through the day and most of the night.

They did not honour hotels.com reservation or confirmation. Hotels.com is useless

I was pleasantly surprise by the level of service,care and diligence displayed by everyone at the hotel.The proximity to the beach was welcome especially my favourite bar at Crystal waters beach where it is a must to watch the glorious sunset at the end of a long afternoon swim.Accessible to bars,shops and restaurants not to mention the bohemian charms of St Lawrence Gap.I cannot recommend Melrose Apts enough.
