Fabulous dinner at the restaurant. So much better than anticipated . Home cooking done perfectly. Heaters had been turned in and room was warm in arrival which was appreciated.

Great location at the end of the Roxburgh Gorge Trail. Lovely surroundings, the food in the restaurant was amazing and worth a visit for that reason alone!

The room was lovely. Everything we needed. Everything in excellent order. Much attention to detail. The dinner we enjoyed was excellent. Highly recommended

Maybe not a lot of insulation between adjoining rooms? A question , not a complaint

There was no microwave provided inside the room and hot water system in the bath room was not comfortable. I got either very hot water or cold water and do not get moderate water temperature.

Endroit simple mais très propre et confortable ! Lit très confortable, tout le matériel nécessaire à disposition dans la chambre (the/café/ sèche cheveux/ eau). Endroit calme, entouré d'une très belle nature. Le dîner du soir était très bon! Belle surprise.

Max and Anna who run this property were amazing - great garden space - the restaurant was really great - amazing evening menu - but most of all Max helped me get to town in the morning when my bike spat the dummy and needed some care from the local mechanic - they went above and beyond and I’m forever grateful

Beautiful location and the gardens were beautiful.

Hosts were very welcoming and made our stay enjoyable.

The grounds of the property were beautiful - bar and restaurant on-site. Anna was amazing, and the meals were really, unexpectedly, fantastic!

The staff were very helpful. They had beautiful lavender hand and body wash in the bathroom which you can purchase. The bed was comfortable and a nice walk to the dam

The owners were super accommodating, cooked us a lovely breakfast and we felt very welcome - they clearly are very proud of their space and so they should be. Lots of little details made this motel stand out and we were not disappointed!

Dinner was amazing and the room was very comfortable and quiet. I had an early start the next day so it was exactly what I needed.

Beautiful rooms and gardens. Food was devine the best by way meal I have had dining out. The hosts are kindest people I know. They delivered a delicious meal the following evening to my next stop as they knew nothing was open to get dinner. Very much appreciated after 31k walk.

Great location just off the bike trail. Lovely garden setting, clean comfortable rooms. We enjoyed a delicious dinner- the steaks were exceptional.

Very nice quiet location,friendly helpful management, accomadated extra night last minute.

Bed in new room was very uncomfortable and had to sleep on sofa bed. No facilities such as cutlery and plates etc. Had to ask keep asking manager to.provide this.

Terrible experience staying at this property. They will rob your credit card after you leave. Hotel is run by a couple and they have no other staff so get over burdened during busy period. Wife is very rude. We stayed just for the night but had worst experience every in any of our stays. - After we left they reception lady blamed us for not leaving the keys and charged our card despite me telling her 100 times that the keys were left in the room. Who knows they have the keys but still rob customers like this by charging for the penalty. - Hotel has breakfast facility but they didn't open their hotel or reception even at 8:30am. - Room heater was not working. I brought this up at the reception but they could do noting. Didn't provide electric blankets even on asking. - We lost our iphone on the property and people at reception were not at all cooperative. They were instead getting annoyed when we were searching for the phone all around. Lot of fellow guest very helpful and spent an hour with us looking for the phone but reception people... oh my god, terrible and rude.

Milk was in a small jar and should be covered, or they could give those small bottle one. The hair dryer wasn't working, towel has some Mark on it and no sink get water for my tea or drink they have water n the jar as well n the fridge for my tea lol they have so many tea bag different type only 2 coffee 😆 no microwave warm food up as well but hey is ok 😉 😀 they need plates small space for it

Rustic location. Good sized room. The room was basic but all amenities worked well. The hotel restaurant served nice food at reasonable prices. Served as a nice stopover slightly out of town and off the beaten road.

The innkeeper had difficulty finding my booking but things worked out in the end.

This property is not value for money - the facilities are dated, no kitchenette/kitchen. No screening for privacy from neighbouring rooms. Decking old and split. We have stayed in properties for the same amount per night that are far superior

A very tranquil place set in lovely garden. We had a fabulous meal on New Year's Eve and good breakfast on New Year's Day. The chef has a very light touch.

Very friendly and relaxed owners, we were invited to go to our room and get ready for dinner without any fuss checking in. The rooms are nicely decorated, beds very comfortable with new bathrooms, with delightful home made lavender bodywash. The dinner was excellent, easily one of the best we have had in a couple of years. The garden setting is very nice and the charm of the original accommodation is not lost. We will definitely stay again.

Comfortable room in a very natural, garden setting, although it was near a large hydro dam. Excellent dinner prepared in the restaurant by the hosts, with a nice selection of local wines.
