Reviewed Jul 15, 2026Although it was a brief stay in Whakatane, I would 100% stay again. Being able to have flexibility when it came to check ins was a MUST for me at the time as it was a last minute decision and this place met that requirement swiftly by having a self check in option available, within minutes I was emailed back. The facilities were presented to a high standard as well as having extra blankets and pillows provided if needed. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would definitely book again.

Cost $5 to wash & $5 to dry my clothes. I would have done it for half that price at the laundromat. The sky remote wouldn’t work properly so we could not turn the tv down, so I turned it off.
