They made check in after hours very easy, blinds drawn, heater was on and milk in the fridge when I arrived. Reviewed Mar 16, 2026The staff were friendly and helpful, The facilities were just what we were expecting. We arrived quite early and the owners a welcomed us anyway. They also pointed out we had left our boot lid open when leaving. (and shut it too)
We are getting on in years and the footing in the bath under the shower was quite slippery. We both felt a bit insecure while showering. Maybe the provision of a non slip mat that could be used while the shower is being used could help.

It functions well for a family who are wanting somewhere that is clean and comfortable. It has a little outside seating spot but it's not a resort to hang out in, and doesn't claim to be. If you're there and have things to see and need a good base then it's good.
