The property was a good size, the bed was comfortable. The property was located right next to the rugby field, which is where we needed to be each day. The hosts were friendly and accommodating.

Very easy check in, and due to the heating not working we were given a portable heater without issues we were very thankful for.

The bathroom window in 11 had no handles as they were broken off, there was also a cold draft coming through it. The heating in the bathroom and downstairs also did not work.

The heater was upstairs and therefore the downstairs was colder. No electric blankets on the beds for winter.

The location was good. No breakfast provided.

There was no box of tissue in the room. The shower pressure was super strong, it is like a fire hydrant!

We loved our whole experience at the Aquarius Motor Inn my partner especially loved how the movie and sport channels were available u don't get that anywhere. The room smelt very nice it was clean and modern staff were absolutely amazing can't wait to come bk.

The customer service was honestly the worst part of this stay. We were not angry or aggressive at all — we simply called because our door would not lock before we went to bed, which is a pretty basic safety concern when paying for accommodation. We genuinely just needed help. Instead of being met with understanding or professionalism, the lady we dealt with spoke to us in such a belittling and rude manner. There were eye rolls, attitude, sass, and a tone that made us feel like we were an inconvenience for asking for help. It was incredibly uncomfortable and honestly quite upsetting considering we had called the exact number provided in their message saying, “If you have any problems or worries please call us.” We were already trying to overlook a number of issues with the room itself — a window that wouldn’t close, a shower head that sprayed water everywhere except onto us properly, a rusting heater attached to the wall, and towels that felt unpleasant to use. We were willing to let most of that slide despite the amount we paid. But the way we were spoken to completely changed the experience. There is a respectful and humane way to talk to customers, especially ones who were calm and simply asking for assistance. Unfortunately, this experience was far from professional and absolutely not worth the money.

Perfect place for work overnight trip. Very clean and well appointed. Fresh milk in fridge a real win :)

Aquarius was central to everything, whether walking into town and asking the esplanades or day trips into the center. Apartment rooms are fully furnished, and you can shut the room right up, not hearing a thing from other rooms.

Nothing that wasn't unpleasant but as there are refurbs happening, the a working fan makes all the difference.

Likes that it was clean tidy and good location. Spa bath was a bonus.

The new owners we very friendly, warm and catering. Thank you.

I booked in very last minute and late. Received a message with excellent instructions on accessing my room. I was only there to sleep, the price was reasonable and the room had everything I needed.

The position in mt maunganui was good

There wasn't anything in it that made it special considering the high price. The pool didnt look clean.

Good location, fairly quiet, free off street parking, comfortable beds, good toiletries supplied. Could freeze ice packs in the freezer & an ice cube tray provided.

Pillows lacked substance, UHT milk, thin toilet paper.

Great location and conveniently close to all amenieties. Staff were very responsive and friendly. The accessible room was well set up and my husband, who uses a new walker was very satisfied with the access and bathroom set up.

Tv at the top didn't have sky tv and kept going in and out of signal.

The room was beutifull and shower.

Nothing to dislike apart from the fan in our room was not working but thats not a big issue it was just hot at night

we had such a comfy stay in our comfy little corner (#8) we loved it!! admin/staff was lovely and very calm :) no noises or disturbances considering it was fully booked out. we just had a hiccup with shower head we couldn't really put onto full power because it would leak but hey it works and we are very grateful! handy that it was close to UB40. air con was a life saver it was so hot outside, as soon as we got back it was lovely inside we will DEFINITELY be staying again xo thank you everyone !

The bed was a bit hard & the aircon didn't work that well. Aldo the sound proofing in the walls was very bad. Could gear the neighboring rooms going to the tiolet & the crying child

The location was perfect for the event we were attending, and a short walk into town for meals and shopping. Restaurants and cafes close. The room was spacious and comfortable especially as the air-conditioning was on when we arrived in 28 degree heat.

Location was great. Facilities were what I wanted.

The bath was not cleaned very well. I had to remove a fair amount of dust and fluff before running a bath. It would have been nice if the tv could swivel around and be viewed from the bath.

Check in was efficient. I was not informed of any additional services or features unique to the venue. Did not get offered any questions around stay, location, areas of interest or recommendations eg hospitality.

We travelled to see the Black Clash at Bay Oval so the location of the motel was brilliant! Just walked across the road and into the park. Could not have been easier. Nice private pool.

The bathroom in the disability studio unit flooded each time you used the shower.

Stayed as going to an event at the Oval. Great location, 10 minute walk from the beach, 5 minutes from a supermarket. Comfy bed. Everything was really clean. Only really tired part was the bathroom but it was clean and the shower pressure was great. Walking distance to the Mount too but also a cheap uber ride.

Didn't not like it but you could probably get rid of Sky and just have chrome cast capability.

Staff were very nice, handy location and great cafe across the road!

Great place to stay. Walk about twenty mins to supermarket. Short walk to the beach and a great walk to the Mount via the edge of the water. Has a little road noise but this stops in the evenings. Cooking facilities, great bed and shower. Swimming pool was a little cold for us to try but it’s there for guests.

The Aquarius Motor in was absolutely perfect for a family stay. Great location, the friendliest staff and lovely pool. Not far from the beach, walking distance to a range of places and such a comfortable room. Will be staying again!
