The apartment was lovely.

The smell of fibreglass was very strong. Very toxic. the pool and spa was closed. The only reason I booked it was to have a spa. It should have been stated in the property that it is out of order prior to me booking.

The property was beautiful but not as described, we overlooked the driveway on the roadside at the very front of the property, the furthest away from the pool side & almost all other apartments were empty so it seems like we could have been placed in a better location.

The hosts were very abrupt & the spa pool had only been cleaned that morning so was unable to use it as was still cold. The keys were not working properly so had to leave the main entrance was open all night & the people upstairs kept us awake all night stomping around, as one of our kids was 11 yrs old, someone had to be at the pool with her at all times & due to the spa not working one of us had to stand in the pool area to be with her & got bitten by mosquitoes

Everything! We stayed for a week. It was supposed to be relaxing end part of our holiday. Though there was a great pool, beach nearby we spent a lot of our time exploring the Coromandel area. So much to see! That said the accommodation was smashing. Big rooms, all the facilities you would need, even caught up on the washing. Big underground car park.

Nothing with the accommodation. Know that Pauanui is a mainly a second home/holiday home town. There are a handful of shops, one supermarket which provides a good choice and there a few cafe/restaurants which depending on the time of year are not all open.

Quiet, pool, spacious apartment

In our unit, carpet was tired. Visiting midweek in late Feb, the town is very very quiet. This is a plus or minus depending on your perspective. Once we adjusted, we enjoyed the calm a lot.

A beautifully kept courtyard with pool and hot tub. Our unit was very spacious and spotless. Just a few minute’s walk to the beach.

Very well located only about 100m from the surf club, and an easy 15minute walk to shops and restaurants.

Remember to take the basics that you personally like for cooking etc. . I always like to take a sharp knife, dishwashing powder and dish liquid.

Spotlessly clean, secure parking, very quiet, host Louise was a delight

No air conditioning in bedrooms, no mirrors in bedrooms, we were surprised to be supplied only 2 toilet paper rolls for 2people for 5 days, with a charge of $1per roll extra. Also extra cost for other incidentals which are supplied in all other places we’ve stayed. Felt very mean, especially considering the cost of the booking.

Clean& spacious

Louise was such a fabulous host. Great with communication, offered us an early check-in, have us a great tour and introduction to the property and gave us some great tips for the area. The apartment was nice and big, very clean and very comfortable. We only stayed one night but could have easily stayed a week. The pool and spa looked great (although we didn’t got in) and it was a very short walk across the road to the beach. Pauanui is absolutely gorgeous. Wish we’d been able to spend more time there.

The town was a nice quiet retreat from some of the larger towns on the peninsula. The managers were extremely nice and helpful.

The apartment we rented did not have a dresser in the bedroom so we were living out of our suitcases. The kitchen hen was adequately furnished but lacked any spices other than small packets of salt and pepper and there was no cooking oil. As owners of several rentals, we find it better to charge a couple more $ and have a well stocked facility

Gorgeous apartment and pool - all squeeze clean and hotel standard sheets bedding. Pool is very warm and well kept. Great secure parking and the beach is right there.

Großzügiges Appartement in Privatbesitz mit allem Komfort, inkl. Tiefgaragenparkplatz. Sehr freundliche Caretaker. Nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß zum Strand.

Nur zwei Restaurants am Ort - 5 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Sehr frühe Schließzeiten zum Abendessen. Der nächste Ort ist mit dem Auto 25 Minuten entfernt. In der Sommersaison gibt es ggfls eine Fähre. Reine Ferienhaus-Gegend.

Louise was a perfect host . Exceptionally clean one bedroom Room . Across the road from beach access which I loved .

There was a smell of smoke in my room masked by scent to hide it . I spoke to Louise the Resort manager about this who apologised as previous guest had smoked on this room’s deck and I could still smell cigarette smoke . Resort is smoke free and previous guest had not abided by rules. This is exactly why Louise was upset by previous guest smoking . Thank you Louise for answering my concern here .

So well organised and super comfortable! Steaming jacuzzi..best bed ever!!

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Was very clean. Location to beach is exceptional.

Bed/sheets were not very comfortable.could not get TV in bedroom going.. although parking underneath was helpful I didn't realise we had stairs as just recovered from broken ankle.

Minimal consumables eg body wash. 1 tiny tube to cover 3 adults over 2 days. 1 dishwasher sachet for two nights with only five coffee mugs, five cereal bowls. Doesn’t work. Required to empty our own bins. Only one lamp on the bedside table. Really who should miss out???

A great experience. Just across the road from the beach with a pool and spa. Apartment was well equiped, large and compfy. Very nicely set up for comfort. A home away from home.

Very expensive, and even though we paid almost $800 for just two nights the staff were reluctant to top up our sugar, coffee etc. TV wasn't working when we arrived, had to wait a couple hours for it to be fixed.

Great apartment with full kitchen. Very nicely decorated and across from the beach. Highly recommend! And restaurants nearby were outstanding (Cabana and The Lical).

Nice clean safe high quality place with excellent location. Across the park to the beach. Has all creature comforts for stay like washer dryer, dish washer, microwave. Pool on the small side but ok for kids.

Beautiful unit, minutes from the beach. Lovely pool and lounging area.

Beautiful accommodations with everything we needed. Loved having a washer and dryer in the unit and underground parking. The manager is a gem! So sweet and kind.

The town is so clean and beautiful. Just wish there were a couple of more restaurants in town. It’s a bit of a drive from Pauanui to the next town.
