Good

It was comfy, spacious and very close to the town

Location, spacious room, great shower and good parking.

Quiet, spacious.

Single beds were too soft, electric blankets were provided but nowhere to plug them in , no spare blankets.

The location of the unit was good, handy to town. the unit was clean and the bed was comfortable. The unit was spacious.

There are a few things that let the unit down. The paintwork around the doors was pretty tired and there were exposed pipes lying on the floor in the corner of the bathroom by the shower. Only one side of the electric blanket worked as the control was broken on one side. Cutlery was minimal eg two desert spoons and two teaspoons however there was 4 bowls and dinner plates. Overall the room did look like it needed refreshing and as this unit was sold as a deluxe unit I would not identify it as such. So overall a little disappointed as the photos looked great.

Right outside of town-separate bedroom with twin beds in addition to the queen bed in the living room area. Complete kitchenette

The Double Glazing insulation is working very well. It keeps the traffic noise outside and keep room not so cold.

In bath room, when I took off clothes ready for shower, I could not find suitable place to hang my clothes. The maximum temperature setting for air-conditioner is 25 degree C. It's not enough to heat up the room in cold midnight. Swimming pool is not heated in the winter.

Lovely big room and plenty of space with a kitchen. The tv was great and easy to use. It was easy to heat and stay comfortable with the air conditioner. The bed was very comfortable.

Very minor gripe because the toilet seat was wobbly and felt a bit cheap and the drain in the shower was loose and shifted when you stood on it

It was spacious, very comfortable bed. The view front door and back was immaculate. The aircon accommodated our stay and the parking was right in front of our room so it was convenient.

It didn't have a stove installed but an electric one, however we didn't have an extension cord so cooking was quite a hassle.

Accomodation was large enough for our family of 5. The staff were super helpful in setting up an extra bed for us. The accomodation was clean and tidy and perfect for our short stay

The rooms were large, great outlook and very clean.

I didn't see a guide for using the TV.

I’ve stayed here before and had a nice motel room which matched the photos on the website.

The motel room this time didn’t match the website photos. The bathroom had things like a towel rail that was not properly fitted to the wall and the toilet stopped flushing.

Location meant we could spend the day touring the Coromandel Peninsula and reach our next destination north of Aukland the following morning. The hotel is set in nice gardens with lots of fruit trees and good parking.

Noise from the main road. No ice machine but the manager was able to provide some. Pool not heated. Limited facilities and activities in Thames.

Overall stay was very comfortable and reasonably priced. Pool complex a plus, shame no Sky TV.

The hotel was clean and tidy. The rooms were quite spacious. It is a little dated but well maintained and comfortable.

The hotel is located on the outskirts of town and is not within walking distance of any shops or cafes .

Close to town

The bed was like sleeping on a brick floor it was so hard and uncomfortable . Also we were not given any milk on arrival or in the room fridge. Not very impressed.

Lovely place to stay, and within easy walking distance of the restaurants. Room was a great size, clean and well-appointed. Maria on the front desk was delightful. Would stay here again.

Clean, well setup, good in room accessories provided too. Plus great hosts! They were really warm and receptive to us, even being on their Xmas day, they still smiled and were incredibly helpful.

Bottom of some walls showing major wear, some doors need repainting, just detracts away from overall experience but doesn't physically affect the great room experience, more so the aesthetic appeal.

Good sized accomodation

Room was missing light bulb and extra toilet paper. Also, we stayed 2 nights, but room didn't get made up even though we put the sign up to have it done. Room decor was tired and visibly damaged. For the price we paid we expected a higher standard, it felt like a budget motel.

Friendly staff. Large, super quiet, and very clean room. Nice pool.

Tight parking

Lovely place, bed was comfortable. Close to what we needed. Had washing machine and dryer so was able to do some washing. Was close to a main road but never heard noise during the night.
