Reviewed Jan 8, 2025Although we didn't use any of the facilities - we were visiting friends who live a 2 minute walk away - the apartment was perfect for the 2 couples, and when Michelle realised we were 2 couples, she offered to change us to an apartment with 2 doubles beds (although we didn't take up the offer). We thoroughly enjoyed the views, the ability to do our washing and also appreciated the nespresso coffee!

The design of the showers, the water came right out under the door onto the bathroom floor, in both bathrooms. There could be cabinets under the basin for storage The chairs around the table were very uncomfortable, needed padding.

Reviewed Jan 27, 2024The 2 bdrm apartment was very spacious and modern with a beautiful view of ocean 5 pools, tennis court and gym all well maintained and not too busy. Good for teenagers. Staff very helpful, even finding boogie boards for the family to use. Short drive to ohope beach cafes or town of whakatane.
My only feedback would be fans in both rooms as very hot at night or multi room air conditioning.

The bbq facility was below average. The showers in the unit leaked water out under the shower door leaving the floor very slippery.

Here's some suggestions rather than what didn't you like...maybe more heated pools or spas specially during the colder periods ...bit more lighting in the area of the entrance at each elevator stop... and hopefully the next time I come the sauna up and running...
