Staff are unhappy. No help from staff during check in. Staff purposely avoided helping us with our luggage during check in. We ended up carrying our luggage ourselves to our rooms. Very unprofessional.

A Fabulous little boutique hotel with beautiful grounds

The hotel is older style but my room looked newly renovated (Room 2). It was clean, convenient and quiet. It shows that management has high standards as the workmanship and state of maintenance were very high. I really loved the pool early in the morning and in the evening after a hot day in the city.

My stay was pleasant, employees friendly, good location, the pool, nice and clean. As far as up grades or room for improvement to make peoples stay more convenient or pleasurable. If you hade a laundry service with a wash and fold, that would be amazing, plus it would generate more revenue if people didn't have to go out and get it done, having it done on site would be very convenient. The continental breakfast was ok, but there can be room for improvement, by expending the menu just a slight bit. Having fresh fruit available would be a major improvement since the Philippines has an abundance of fruit available. As a guest, I would pay a little extra if you had a choice of both a Philippine breakfast or a continental and include a choice of French Toast, or Pancakes as well as fruit etc... Mangoes, Pineapple, Watermelon etc These are really minor changes and could improve the experience. You could also increase revenue by having a Vending machine in the Lobby going up stairs offering sodas, snacks like cookies, crackers, chips etc... If one want's a late night snack, we have to leave the premises and buy on the street, which is ok, but less convenient, why not make everything more convenient for the guest, so if it's raining, they don't even have to leave the premises? I loved the fact that the guest have use of the kitchen, great job, that was a reason why we chose this place. All you need now is a location one can barbecue or grill etc. Food for thought!

Review of Domicilio Lorenzo My recent stay at Domicilio Lorenzo left me with mixed feelings. While the property has potential, some shortcomings made my experience far from perfect. Pros: Quiet and Relaxing Atmosphere: The property itself is peaceful, with a pleasant ambiance that could make for a comfortable stay if properly maintained. The pool is perfect. Location: Situated in a very noisy and c area, it’s accessible to restaurants and other amenities. Cons: 1. Very noisy area One of the most disappointing aspects of my stay was the noise. 2. Breakfast/Coffee Issues The included breakfasts were ok for locals. Not up to standards for foreigners. The coffee was a mix of instant and tea and sometimes hot chocolate. 3. Late Checkout. They charge for a late check out per hour. Summary of My Stay at Domicilio Lorenzo Domicilio Lorenzo has potential, offering a peaceful atmosphere and a great pool. Its location is convenient, but the surrounding area is quite noisy, which affected the overall experience. While the included breakfast might suit local tastes, it fell short for international guests, with inconsistent coffee options ranging from instant coffee to tea or even hot chocolate. Additionally, the hotel charges an hourly fee for late checkouts, which felt inconvenient. Overall, while the property has its positives, the noise, breakfast quality, and extra charges for late checkouts left room for improvement.

This place is very well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. Several restaurants in walking distance.

Stay was good, there is only street parking for checkin, limited parking inside. Street is very narrow, not much parking area for cars. Very friendly staff.

Property was clean. Staff was friendly. Checking in was simple, except for the parking. It’s inconvenient to come and go, as you have to request someone to open the gate. I would stay here again.

I thought my first night was alright, but after that I kept dealing with issues with the room from bugs on the bed to improper cleaning when it came to the room. The WiFi connection provided to the room I was staying in wasn’t working most of my stay there also.

The rooms are really nice and affordable. The pool area is really clean and the garden as well.

Here is not genuine hotel but Apartel so that many greens at garden with swimming pool. Atmosphere is the best except hospitality.

We did not like the property for it wasn't what showed it as. The room was small compared to what Expedia showed. Just didn't like the room or facilities.

Beautiful garden (some mosquitoes). Nice decoration with many works of art. Bathroom neat and clean. A few broken things in the bathroom. The room and the bathroom both have an opening window with mosquito net. Air conditioning noisy uncomfortable but this place gets cool in the night. Street noise during the day, strongly decreases during the night. Breakfast is coffee or milk + egg + bread or rice, simple but good.

We did a 2 night stay and we had a great time the pool was wonderfull the staff were very friendly over all a great place to stay with kids and a good price thank you for looking after us will saty there again Steve & Marie from Australia

Nice place to stay and have peace of mind, beautiful greeneries nice swimming pool. Simple breakfast, good room size, superior garden room, my room was in small corridor and few things need fixing..

Hotel was a former house converted at some point. Hotel is located in a residential area behind a large wall, but once inside it’s a really pretty property. Breakfast was underwhelming but staff were very nice.

The facilities were very nice and clean. It was nice to be able to cook meals in their kitchen. The breakfasts were basic Filipino foods to which we added soy sauce and a few things. The pool was lovely and deep. It is located near a main road so public transport wasn't a problem. We stayed here before Covid in 2019 and were just as happy this time. Our room was very nice with great air-conditioning and may have been recently updated.

The breakfast was terrible and without any choice. We are the two flavorless items served without any other option. The one of only two attendants, lied when he claimed there was coffee in the room. There was none and none to be provided. I'll not stay here again, ever

I didnt undersrand why therebwas nonwater in the room nor tea of coffee even though there was a kettle Also... room isnt made up unless you hang the sign on the door

A little hidden gem

This is the second time I have stayed at Domicillo Lorenzo and once again thoroughly enjoyed my stay

Its a nice clean room. The pool is nice. The bed is comfortable.

I have stayed at this property many times in the past! It was always very good, however, this time it was not up to par with the other visits. Seemed to be under different managements. Not enough staff. The pool is still great!

The breakfast was very basic and could do with a bit of a revamp. Most staff were helpful although English seemed to be an issue for some.

I stayed for 2 nights, and booked 3 rooms....my 2 dependent sons had their own rooms....no complaints of the rooms....nothing fancy, just plain ol' jane rooms, with no phones in the rooms....the pool is a nice touch....we needed to check out of one room a couple hours later, because our flights were in the afternoon....and we had no where to leave our luggage....the hotel charged us extra 600 php....after checking out....the hotel noticed on of the face cloth had a stain on it from an ink pen....they wanted me to pay and extra 500 php to have it cleaned?....I don't agree with is extra charges....the face cloth is only worth maybe 50 php, if it is brand new....it was very well used face cloth, and it had made a lot of php before we accidentally stained it....the hotel made a lot of monies from our 2 night stay with 3 separate hotel rooms, that we paid in full....they did not need to try and nickel and dime us out of more unnecessary monies for a rag....this left a bad taste in my mouth, and I do not wish to return to this hotel because of their greed....I don't think we will return to this hotel next time we travel to davao city?

Very beautiful inside staff are very accomodating if anything changes ill add on to this for now I am keeping the review simple. Approx 30 minutes or so drive from the airport with a taxi and on a side note the pool is wonderful at night.

very clean and a good place to stay ,,, but dont look for the nccc mall , sadly it was destroyed in a massive fire last april ,, swimming pool is nice and warm, hot water shower is the best ive had after staying in and around davao at about 12 different hotels , i will stay there again if i can get the same price i had before i was there for 9 days

Better bring your ear plugs! Great location - across from major eateries. Very attentive staff. Clean rooms. But ... 1. AC was VERY noisy. 2. Lots of stray cats in heat = screaming all nights = unable to sleep. 3. Located next to a major thoroughfare = sirens, car noise, etc. = can't sleep. 4. Do not provide drinking water in the room. The water dispenser in the common are was broken. 5. Clean bed linens but no blanket. WTH? It seems like they have different "levels" of rooms ... so maybe other rooms are better (probably reserved for the locals). Bottom line: OK if you are on the budget. Otherwise, pay more and stay in a full-service hotel.

Friendly staffs, nice location, accessible to everything, it’s in heart of the city of Davao.

the staff was excellent but to hear how new management will in the future be treating guest and their visitors would be a shame. Management wants to charge for amenities just wrong.

It was far more than I thought. The price was great for a very comfortable stay like home. The staff are very accommodating and friendly.

The hotel is extremely peaceful. The pool is a great size, the water is extremely clean and the water is a great temperature. There are no stupid rules here. We arrived early and we were allowed to go to the room early. we checked out at 12.0pm but were allowed to stay and use the pool until 5.0pm with the use of towels. You can order food and eat by the pool. Overall a great atmosphere and very accommodating hotel.

there plan to fine each person p2000 for every hour in pool , ( in your dreams ) after 9 pm . a pillow case p350 bedsheet p 3,500 towel p 800 good luck making money this way, next time post that on your site in advance . dont need NBI in my hotel room. . your breakfast also will be delivered from places near hotel, they dont make anything, maybe coffee. .

this property is older, but quaint. The facility has great landscape, a nice pool, friendly helpful staff and a nice coffee and toast in the morning. There is a community Kitchen, which seems to fit it purpose to prepare your own food. Overall, a very fair price for this property

Setting is like an oasis in Davao City yet close to everything.

2nd time back. Such a amazing place. So clean, newly renovated room. Staff happy and amazing. Close to mall and marina square. Short taxi rides to attractions like jacks ridge, eagle and crocodile park. Wish I didn't have to leave

Cannot really fault the Lorenzo appartments - ours was clean, nicely decorated, an effective shower, comfortable beds, a ref and kettle in the room. A relaxing place to stay, with a super pool and shaded gardens. The staff were always helpful and pleasant. Be aware however, I got bitten by mozzies without wearing long trousers and a long sleeved shirt while relaxing in the garden after dark. A large mall is a short walk away, although you'll need to navigate accross a very busy two lane road. However, there's good selection of eateries available without needing to use the mall.

'twas relaxing and peaceful. I felt like i'm staying at a retreat house.
