Well cared property. Nice rooms but no food services are available. You need to search out to find where to eat. Staff is very friendly and available.

The best place to stay in the centric region of the usland. Close to the Canyon, the town and small eating outlets. The bar/restaurant in the corner is the best! The hotel does not have its own restaurant.

I think we were the only ones staying in this hotel. I had to call the front desk person to come to the hotel. First room was a disaster. AC didn't work, the bed was falling off the frame. Second room was much better. AC worked and bed was not falling apart. Room was comfortable, just don't look a the filthy windows/floors. I would not stay here again.

We had delayed plane issues, car rental issues so it was an absolutely fantastic that we had a great time in a great hotel with no issues. Above and beyond service.

Perfect location providing a drive into the mountains that everyone should experience while in Puerto Rico. Loved it.

Poor house keeping.

I was in a strange location, redirected location. This was booked and once I noticed, obviously I cancelled in minutes. I use this app for my business and personal travel! There should be a way to book safely. Especially when you are in a hurry!!!

We stayed here for one night checking out the mountains. The owner of the hotel is extremely friendly and a very nice guy. The room is clean and spacious but when we checked in, the bathroom fan was broken so it didn’t smell great. However, the owner found a technician and fixed it for us. The people in the area is super friendly and nice as well. Definitely worth checking out the mountain region if you visit PR.

Very quiet and clean room. No windows in the room. The bed was not very comfortable and definitely not for honey moneys.

Nestled in the mountains of Barranquitas, we had a seamless check in and kind staff. We did have hot water and the rooms were clean- only negatives were the tiny, uncomfortable beds and mosquitos in the room. Restaurant next door was AMAZING! Will be back if they have larger beds and replaced...

Hotel bonito. Habitaciones limpias y servicio excelente. Dieron clases de salsa y yoga. No hay servicio 24hrs, pero te dan opciones de panaderías cerca. Además, te dejan una cafetera en el area de las habitaciones donde puedes prepararte el café. Yo le añadiría un microondas. El hotel queda cerca del “trail” del Cañón San Cristobal. Pegado al hotel hay un restaurante y la comida es rica y la atención también. Definitivamente lo recomiendo.

Canyon Boutique Hotel has two wonderful features I enjoy: a very helpful, friendly staff and a safe, quiet place up in the mountains of Puerto Rico. It is in the heart of the island. A downside, however, might be the absence of night life in the area.

Me gustó la tranquilidad, la limpieza y la amabilidad del personal del hotel.

La estadia fue placentera, el lugar limpio, centrico y muy acogedor. Lo unico que incomdo un poco a mi pareja fue el olor que habia en el cuarto a fruta que como esta es alegica a estos olores le causo incomodida. Lo demas estuvo excelente.

Clean and safe

COCKROACHES! Proving anyone can add the word "Hotel" to their place, this hostel has windowless individual rooms with no common space ie lobby, no ice machine, etc. The Room was not clean had live roaches and body fluid stained sheets. A cleaning lady was flustered because she couldn't find ANY body-fluid clean sheets to use when we showed her the problem. SKIP!

Fue muy buena estadía, el servicio de los empleados fue excelente y estuvieron accesibles en todo momento. Solo un detalle: el café que había en el pasillo estaba frío siempre y la cafetera tardaba mucho en calentar.

Ok, didn’t pay attention that the room had no Windows… just very surprised… didn’t see any human either. Not that many places to sleep in Barranquitas anyway..

The property is high up into the mountains and it took about 48 minutes to get there The place was super clean and in great shape. The only issue was the toilet didn’t work great and they tried to repair it. The people in the area are very nice and you always feel safe. Other than the long drive into the mountains it was a nice place to stay.

Nice place to stay, the fact you can do you own "check" at anytime you arrive is great, since business traveling can have lots of variants (depending on customers) .... Terrible because Hotel did not have irons, AND I HAD TO SHOW UP WITH CLOTHS ALL WRINKLED AT MY MEETING WITH MY CUSTOMERS .... and the worst thing is that I send a message to these people and they never answered ( :

Great place to stay. Friendly staff. The adjacent restaurant has a super host, Kevin. Place name is Sol y Luna. Hotel is very close to town and to the Canyon mirador. Clean,comfortable, convenient,centric.

Easy to get to, loved how clean room was and smelled. Very friendly check in, check out procedures. Location is good also. Parking might be a hassle.

No one was available at the hotel nor on the phone when I arrived at 8:00. Someone from the restaurant found me someone from the hotel, who was very nice. The first room had no window and the metal grate exit door locked you in at night. If there was a fire I would be trapped unless I made it to the metal door and remembered to bring my key. I asked to be moved and I was for an additional $11 since the only rooms available had a refrigerator. I did not check the first room but the second did not have a GFCI in the bathroom. This is a beautiful hotel but a fire trap under their current setup. I hope they make changes because it was excellent besides being a fire trap. Virtually no internet available.

Shopping center, pharmacy, and gas station near the area; free parking; communication with the staff was deficient, I called more than six times in three days to the two phone numbers listed to confirm my reservation and nobody answered. The same day in the morning I received a text message with instructions for the express check-in (there was no welcoming greeting nor attending personnel, except for the maid).

The experience was very good. We’re met the owner and was very nice person and hospitality. No hot water, the only inconvenience. I will come again.

Did not like tv programing. This facility is much improved since last time I was there: the staff is great and the common areas arena beautiful.

Only thing that was on point was they are people.friendly that's all, where do i begin with this place. We were told about being able to buy dinner and eat there before 10pm, we stayed there for 4 days not once were we able to just eat and just relax for a dinner. We paid for a queen bed and got a full size instead everytime I went to try and get coffee or no coffee for me to make it myself or coffee pot was gone from the coffee maker had to buy coffee else where also everyday, says hot water nope no hot water for a shower my room was supposed to be two rooms since it was wife son and myself as soon as you open the room door couples bed is there then another room with no door next to it no privacy for my son to go to the bathroom he had to go through our room. All and all it was ok but would not stay again.

Been at The Canyon more than once for leisure. Staff and Management are very professional and approachable. There are many places to eat from Mc Donald’s Burger King to original Puertorican delicacy or cousine. And yes I do recommend it.

Have been at The Canyon at least three times before rooms are clean the area is safe and plenty of places/ restaurants to eat from breakfast to dining in the evening , You can either drive to Barranquitas or Aibonito where you can find plenty of places to eat typical Puertorican cuisine. During the weekend the atmosphere is very upbeat.

Being at The Canyon more than once , clean and staff is approachable will recommend.

Muy limpio y excelente servicio. Nitya (si no se escribe así, disculpa) es una servidora excepcionalmente atenta. Es una lástima que con unas vistas tan hermosas las habitaciones no tengan ventilación e iluminación natural. Esto incide en el olor a humedad. Volveré cuando Inauguren el restaurante.

Experiencia excelente ya que la persona de recepción fue muy amable y el cuarto estaba limpio, frío y cómodo.

Everything was good, clean and confortable

The rooms was clean. I had my room change 3 time. In the first room the toilet water didn’t flush good. The windows locks were broken. The second room. The toilet knob didn’t work and too much noise by the road. Also, the biggest centerpiece I ever seen in my life. 10 inches and it was hard to kill. Never will stay in this hotel again.

Only negative. Get rid of Direct TV.

Was nervous when I booked it knowing the area and knowing not popular tourist spots. was pleasantly surprised upon entering room. communication was great up front with lock box key retrieval and drop off. didn't leave room until next morning after a long day so hotel definitely served its purpose from that capacity.

Been there at least twice and I have no complaints is nicely located if you are familiar with Puertorican cuisine there are lots of places to eat! The scenery around is beautiful and you can reach either northern or southern part of the Island in no time.

From Staff to room conditions very nice experience parking is little bit busy by day time but otherwise is ok in the evening hours either in Barranquitas or Aibonito are many places to eat from bakery’s to restaurants yes I will recommend, Thanks!

No-frills hotel with a clean room and ample parking. The no-contact check-in and check-out process was shared via text with clear instructions. Close proximity to Cañon San Cristobal and Finca Don Felix.

Up in the beautiful mountains but too far for what we wanted to do on this trip. Staff was friendly. Very nice treatment of guests. Accommodating and caring.

Due to circumstances beyond our control arrived late Place was closed and dark except for “open”sign Twice attempted phone contact, twice failed Left after 40 minutes

The only thing it was that when got to the hotel at the front door was locked so we had to use the side door. There is a slepery ramp and my sister felt down.

No hot water (shower) in my room.

The hotel was sparkling clean and very comfortable!

The tv did not work even though we carried out the instructions for the bug reports. In the shower we find hair and a razor. And the coffee refill never came. The cleanliness of the room in general ( except shower) and comfort of the beds was bin. We never coincide with any person since the front desk was closed all the time

The hotel was very clean. The room was excellent. The ac worker great and the water was warm and felt great. The overall neighborhood was in the middle of both venues we were visiting. Perfect location. Loved the food in the area and friendliness of locals. Also the front desk girl was so helpful and sweet. Loved Laury!

Estaba cerca de todo. Tiene parking pero si hay alguna actividad o el restaurante tiene cliente no hay estacionamiento seguro para los huesped. Se escucha todos los ruidos.

All was clean. Attention very good. Parking free. Not space top for makeup… no mirror for whole body.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Lauri at the front desk is amazing, she waited for me to arrive to check me in even though her shift was over. So nice of her. She suggested some places to eat since I knew nothing of the area. The room was beautiful, spotless, so inviting, the smell of freshness captivating, it’s the best hotel I’ve stayed at in a while. I would highly recommend and it would definitely be the hotel I would stay at if I’m in this area again. I’m so happy they also have a location in San Juan that I can stay at since I go there at times too. Thank you Lauri for making my stay so amazing. I’m so pleased.

Wonderful location for canyon hiking adventure!

While traveling in Puerto Rico my arrival was late and by the time I picked up the rental car and it was even later but fortunately the staff took great care and had it all figured out how I could arrive late and still get into my room. The room was clean the bed was comfortable and everyone was very helpful. I will stay at this hotel again if in the area.

Nice quiet area. The hotel parking is very good but on Friday and Saturday nights is very bad due to a new Restaurant/Bar on the premises making it hard for hotel guests find parking, Hotel guests should have reserved parking. Other than that everything is fine,

Excelent location

Nobody advised that our reservation was pending and they didn't send any instructions for check in. We arrived around 10 pm finding nobody at the desk, doors where closed with an indication to call for check-in. The area has no signal for t-mobile so we had to ask at the diner down next to the park and a nice man helped us calling the property from his phone. Wifii worked only around the stairs while in our room n. 2 signal was dead. Clean enough but still we have found black long hair on the towel hanger. Terrible experience and customer care
