Der Inhaber kümmert sich höchstpersönlich. Er ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Wir haben uns super aufgenommen gefühlt. Total gemütlich und direkt am See gelegen. Frühstück inklusive, reicht für den Start in den Tag. Vielen Dank! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Seehotel Jaegerhof Hubertus is one of the best places to stay if you’re visiting Switzerland. Beautifully located right by the lake with a nearby beach, it offers a peaceful and scenic setting. You’ll find several restaurants within walking distance, and it’s only about 10 minutes from the nearest train station. If you’re driving, most major tourist destinations across Switzerland are easily reachable in under 30 minutes. The hotel has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Rooms are exceptionally clean, and the beds are very comfortable. While there’s no air conditioning (which is common in Switzerland), it’s not needed—temperatures drop significantly at night, ensuring a restful sleep. The amenities are a great bonus: free on-site parking, reliable internet, and a fresh, delicious breakfast served every morning. Overall, we were extremely pleased with our stay and will definitely be returning. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing, convenient, and scenic base for exploring Switzerland.

My wife's first reaction on reaching the property is that we had been tricked. The place appeared unkempt as if it had been abandoned. A notice in German inferred that someone would be back in half hour, so we left with no intention of staying there. We were later informed that someone was waiting from 1500 hrs to 2000 hrs waiting for our arrival and there is no reason to doubt the veracity of that claim. But the place did not look at all inviting. A local lady kindly phoned the hotel on our behalf and despite trying for half hour was unable to get a satisfactory response. She informed us that the hotelier was not Swiss. Shortly afterwards we encountered an American couple who had met the hotelier and had also decided not to stay there. They reported to us bloodied bed sheets, which to me indicates they were not changed between guests as well as the high probability of bed bugs. Sightings of mosquitoes and a Russian hotelier who was in complete denial that anything was amiss. They, very kindly, were able to arrange alternative accommodation for us.

It was a great stay. Perfect location with a beautiful lake across the street and very close to the bus stop that can take you straight to the train station. The host is great, and the breakfast is so great - lots of options!

This property is on lake Thun bank and its very quiet, relaxing and close to bus stop and train station as well as few minuts away bus journey from Interlaken. Ideal for Family holidays. This felt like family operated place where cool, calm & welcoming feeling we had.

The hotel was very nice, and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and very complete . The view from our room was beautiful . We moved by public transport , different bus lines .

Die Zimmer sind sehr in die Jahre gekommen! Grösse des Zimmers ist gut, aber man sieht, dass hier seit Jahren nichts mehr renoviert wurde. Die Matratzen haben ihre beste Qualität hinter. Doch das schlimmste war die Temperatur im Zimmer: maximal 16 Grad! Bei einer Aussentemperatur von -8 Grad!

All good. The Wi-Fi connection can be improved as we weren't getting a good connectivity in the room.

Great little hotel with an excellent view of the lake and mountains! Two things you should be aware of: 1. Bring soap 2. The driveway up to the parking and reception is VERY steep. Host is very nice and breakfasts were lovely.

Misleading on distance to hotel from train /bus station. They said a 10 minute walk but had to take a taxi that cost $30.00 one way. It was a couple miles away. Spent over $100. on taxi service while there. Hotel was more of a hunting lodge with no less than 15 stuffed animals and birds in the lobby and dining area. Very nice carpentry work throughout. Nice views.

Hôtel très décevant et ne correspondant pas à la description sur le site: il est noté hôtel restaurant mais pas de restaurant ni de bar; nous sommes accueilli par le propriétaire qui ne parle pas Français comme cela est indiqué et il faut arriver avant 17h sinon aucune possibilité de récupérer la clé. Aucun personnel n'est présent hormis le propriétaire; c'est lui qui prépare le petit déjeuner qui est plutôt moyen avec un mauvais café. L'établissement comprend 3 niveaux mais compte tenu des décrochés il n'y a pas d'ascenseur!! La chambre n'était pas à la hauteur du prix, seul point positif la vue sur le lac. Produits de salle de de bains minimum( petits savons) et il a fallu réclamer du papier toilette. Pas de réfrigérateur pas de boisson offerte. La connexion internet est ce mauvaise qualité et saute souvent( trop de connexions?) La propreté générale laisse à désirer: nombreuses feuilles au sol, herbe poussant à travers les dalles, parasols déchirés.

DAs Hotel ist in die ahre gekommen, hätte aber Charme. Was wir wirklcih vermisst haben ist zumindest die Bar, die in der Ausschreibung drin ist, aber nicht in Betrieb, wie auch das Reataurant, was man eher noch verkraften kann. Bei dem schönen (kleinen) Balkon wäre es noch schön, wenn man einen Kühlschrank auf dem Zimmer hätte oder Eis bestellen könnte, um dort bei einem Drink die Aussicht zu geniessen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut und der Chef, Sergey, der auch bediente, sehr freundlich.

Keinesfalls 3 Sterne: Restaurant geschlossen Frühstück erst ab 09.00h Kein Espresso, nur wässrigen Filterkaffee Keine Hygieneartikel im Zimmer Am 2.Tag kein Zimmerservice Keinen Lift, 35 Stufen bis ins Zimmer Die ganze Anlage ist ungepflegt!!! Rooms don’t have proper ventilation. No / inadequate supplies of soap / shampoo. Despite request they didn’t provide clean towels.

Very old bed sheets, poor breakfast, rooms are dirty , only one person he was doing every thing , i mean first he was serving for breakfast and later he does the rooms arranging , and the same person he was at the réception and he was rude ☹️,, not arranging the beds, not cleaning the room and toilet and not re filling the toiletries

Nice little hotel, old and with a bit too many stuffed, dead animals on the walls where you eat (yes I know it’s a hunting theme hotel, but still) Owner is a quiet, calm guy - do not own service mind at all, but a fine man, he does the job, and prepare a good simple breakfast, with good ingredients, lovely cheese and bread! The hotel has a good location with a swimming spot just outside at the lake, and relatively good locations, for driving to Interlaken and Grindelwald (where we went for hikes)

The property is located in a beautiful place with easy access to the lake and has ample parking. However, the room was dusty and there were hairs on the bathroom wall. The room was spacious but very old fashioned and needed some TLC. The stuffed dead animals in the main area weren’t to my liking though!

Property is is definitely not a three star property as advertised. There are a number of facilities listed here but are not there. For e.g. there is no room service, no laundry service, the restaurant only serves breakfast, no hot water in the evening, room heater didn’t work in our room, you have to ask for the basic things and it depends upon the owner/manager to decide whether to provide or not. I booked this place thinking I would have a relaxed 3 days with family but was very disappointed to be honest. Then I looked at some of the google reviews of the property and noticed I wasn’t alone. Definitely not the price they charge you for. The property is nice and on the bank of a beautiful lake so that was the only positive.

Top Lage!

It was a last min booking because our Airbnb reservation got canceled. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. The location is spot on and the property is antique gem with modern amenities. We felt privileged to stay in such an amazing hotel with so much history. We enjoyed our stay and will recommend this hotel to our friends.

The view around this hotel is very good. However, due to its remote location, transportation is not good. There are no restaurants or other places to eat. Breakfast starts at 8:00 am, so if you go sightseeing early, you can't use it at all. Also, there are hardly any staff at the hotel reception, so you cannot enter the hotel before 3pm.

Fantastic location. A great middle class hotel right on the lake with swimming accomodations opposite the hotel.

Das Hotel liegt wunderbar am See. Da es bereits Herbst war, hatte es nicht viel Gäste, also sehr ruhig. Leider war das Restaurant geschlossen und wir mussten zu Fuss Nachtessen gehen, nicht weit. Dafür war das Frühstück sehr gut, grosse Auswahl. Für uns war es super, obwohl das Hotel schon etwas älter ist.

Prachtige locatie met uitzicht op het meer. Kamers zijn prima en hotel ligt dichtbij Interlaken en Thun. Aardige eigenaar en prima verzorgd. Verbleven voor de Jungfrau marathon. Afstand tot Interlaken is 10 minuten met de auto

The only good thing was the location.. everything else wasn’t great. Not clean at all, I had to use one of my clothes to cover my pillow, what I paid shouldn’t be for that. Breakfast was okay! He also charged me for the tax even tho I paid for the whole package. I don’t recommend this place to anyone.

Die Lage am See ist sehr gut und hat uns gut gefallen. Der Gastgeber war unfreundlich, wenig hilfsbereit und äusserst unmotiviert. Die Sauberkeit im und ums Haus lässt zu wünschen übrig.

Fantastisk smuk beliggenhed med skøn udsigt til Thunsee. Tæt på bjergene og dejlig badested lige på den anden side af vejen. Perfekt når der er 30 grader i luften :-) Morgenmaden er fin og ok. Skønt med morgenmad på terrassen med udsigt over søen. Selve hotellet er til dem mere ordinære side. Prisniveau som ellers i Schweiz dvs over nabolandenes.

lite hotell med sjarmerende personale. Måtte inn til sentrum for middag. Fin badeplass rett over vegen. fikk hjelp og informasjon om Europas tak. Ikke langt å kjøre og vel hvert et besøk. Kjempegøy.

We had a great stay at the Seehotel Jaegerhof Hubertus! My wife and I went for a minibreak on her birthday weekend. We misread the booking and didn't see that the reception is not open from 18.00CET on, but they waited for us and even brought a glass of wine for us for her birthday. Breakfast was excellent, local cheeses, fresh bread and meats, all covered nicely to keep away any flies or sneezes! The view is unbeatable, its so nice! The rooms we clean and the beds were super comfortable. The only thing we wanted for was mini-fridge in the room, and an ice machine somewhere in the hotel, but most places in switzerland don't have this standardly. Two thumbs up!

Hotel has good location but bad experience with manager ruined my stay. I needed a working wifi but had zero or extremely poor connection in my room. Manager behaved as if it were my fault. Besides, hotel was hugely overpriced.

Direkte Seesicht auf unserer Etage, direkt am See, kostenlose Benutzung der Strandbadi, wo es auch einen kleinen Kiosk mit Verpflegungsmöglichkeit hat, schöner Strandweg nach Spiez (in 40 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar), Frühstücksbuffet ok. Das 1.Zimmer, das man mir zuwies, lag direkt neben der Treppe, zur obersten Etage, direkt über dem Zimmer liegt die Autostrasse nach Spiez, sehr lärmig, Zimmer roch schlecht, nach längeren Diskussionen ("aber meine Mutter wohnt auch da oben, sie hört keinen Lärm!", war ihr Argument) mit der jungen Dame, die schlecht Deutsch konnte, bekam ich auf der selben Etage zuhinderst ein neues Zimmer neben Tannenbäumen und geschützt vor Lärm durch eine Glasfront. Auf dem Bett eine muffige Tagesdecke! Sehr hygienisch! Am meisten störte mich, dass am ersten Morgen, im Zimmer herumgefuhrwerkt wurde. Sachen in Kästen verräumt, die ich extra an einem bestimmten Ort hingelegt hatte, Tagesdecke wieder auf dem Bett, Balkonfenster offen Storen hoch, obwohl der Balkon leicht betretbar, Badezimmerfenster offen, obwohl es zum Gang hin in einer Sackgasse liegt, Gelegenheit für Langfinger.Und der Clue: Am nächsten Morgen hängte ich eigenen Zettel mit "Bitte nicht stören" gross, orange aussen an die Zimmertüre, kam zurück,das selbe Spiel in Grün. Auf Ansprache kein Einsehen, 2 Tage früher abgereist, natürlich ohne Preisredukt., der Rezeptionist der D. Sprache kaum mächtig und wisse nicht, wie man Geld zurückgebe!!! Geld war auf Konto bereits abgebucht!

Hotel maravilhoso e muito bem localizado! O check-in foi tranquilo e prático. O dono foi super prestativo, mesmo quando não entendia muito bem algumas palavras em alemão.. O quarto, limpeza e cama são excelentes. E a vista do hotel, sem comentários... linda!!

Les propriétaires sont parfaits, très attentionnés. La situation au bord du lac et sans voisinage direct et agréable. La terrasse fait très envie d'y passer du temps et devant l'hôtel se trouve une bande d'herbe qui permet de se prélasser au bord du lac et de s'y baigner.

It was nice and quiet near a lake away from all the souvenir shops but close enough to take a short train ride to the capital city of Berg, Thun or Interlaken. The breakfast was delicious and it was so pleasant to sit on our balcony lakeside and enjoy the view.

It is a lake view property which is beautiful outside... Inside it is just ok ... more of a 2 star hotel... very isolated property... good if u want to be close to lake and do water activities but very far if u r there to see Jungfraujoch or Interlaken etc..

Great location. We were able to swim in the lake after a long afternoon of touring Interlaken. Within walking distance of boat to Interlaken. Great breakfast spot overlooking the lake.

The only highlight about this place is it’s location. Other than that very ordinary hotel run by only one person who is the owner/ front desk guy/ concierge service and a bell boy. Rooms are small with bathroom exceedingly smaller. No air conditioner in the room and this summer was exceedingly hot. You will have to carry luggage through stairs as there is no help available. No telephones in the room so if you need something like iron you have to physically go downstairs and ask for it and then he tells you to bring back in 2 hours. Not a good experience.

Hotelanlage mit tollem Ausblick über den Thuner See. Allerdings sollte man darauf achten, möglichst weit oben ein Zimmer zu buchen. Die Hotelanlage an sich wäre grundsätzlich etwas erneuerungsbedürftig, aber das Zimmer selbst war anscheinend schon renoviert, es wirkte alles recht neuwertig. Sehr freundlicher Service. Frühstücksbuffet sehr vielseitig. Frühstück selbst auf der Terrasse mit Seeblick. Parkplatz direkt am Haus. Zum 2. Mal dort gewesen, gerne wieder.

Frühstück o.k., Zimmergrössen i.O. Personal mit Ausnahme des Chefs versteht weder Deutsch noch Französisch.. Für eine Unterkunft in der Zentralschweiz ist dies oberschwach

The hotel is in a beautiful location and the staff are absolutely wonderful. Free on site parking and breakfast was a huge plus. The hotel is right across the street from a popular lake swimming area so you’ll never have to worry about finding parking to go there. Hotel staff were just amazing. During breakfast they take note of which rooms are eating and quickly tend to them while enjoying breakfast.

The staff is not friendly at all. Rooms are dirty, one of the pillow was stained. There is no noise insulation between rooms. The garden furniture are broken, cushions have wholes. Hotel located between the railways and the road.

We felt very welcome by the owner. Very beautiful view by the lake. Even if it was the down Season everything was available.

Family run business. Location is excellent. Beautiful views from window. Little bid old facility, fewer bathroom supplies. But still a pleasant stay.

We stayed at this hotel when the temperature was a hot, humid 31c and found the room too hot to sleep and too noisy to have windows open but when we asked for a fan and the manager supplied it we slept better. Staying at this place in colder weather would be more comfortable. The outside of the hotel is very nice and the view of the lake is beautiful. The room needs renovating. The style is still from the 1960s. Still the room is comfortable (except in hot weather) but has no safe or coffee making facilities. The TV is very small and room has no fridge. The Wifi was weak and kept cutting out often. Breakfast was ok but no hot food and there was plenty of car parking space. The staff was friendly and helpful. In hot weather and due to Wifi cutting out often I would not stay here again.

The hotel is disappointing and doesn't worth the money paid. Everything is poor except the view. reception is closed at 6 pm on Friday!!!! Very bad pillows and towels. Shampoo and soap is in paper pockets and with bad quality. I can write more and more but I recommend people to find other hotels that provide minimum service for 3 stars hotel. Also, breakfast was limited and poor.

Great location and gorgeous views across the lake. Slightly quirky but traditional style to the hotel, really clean and well presented. Staff very friendly and accommodating, great breakfast especially when we ate outside with the sun shining!

This hotel was a little gem. It is close to the lake and has gorgeous lake views. Make sue to get a room with a lake view. We sat on the balcony and sipped wine while watching boats on the lake. The breakfast is great and wifi works well. Free parking. The best part of the stay was the staff. The hostess is friendly and helpful. This hotel was a highlight of our trip.

The middle aged man who I believe is in charge of the hotel was very dishonest, greedy and rude with us at check out and spoiled an otherwise decent stay!! At the beginning of the stay, I asked the young receptionist at the entrance about getting some laundry done, and she told me it would be around 5 CHF for each bag. Latter, I handed 2 small bags of laundry to the aforementioned middle aged guy. At check out, the guy told me THEY WHERE CHARGING ME 115 CHF FOR 2 SMALL BAGS OF LAUNDRY!!! WHAT???!!!! They actually wanted to charge 6 CHF for each piece of clothing, which was never explained or divulged before check out and is of course completely crazy and unheard off. After an uncomfortable exchange, I ended up haggling down the price to 30 CHF, which is still pretty expensive. I found this very dishonest and greedy and its a shame because the stay was otherwise pretty good.

We stayed for one night during a road trip so it was fine but i cant imagine to stay for longer.The walk to the centre is ok but not as short as it seems. It seems a bit Raugh around there but there is a nice cafe/bakery if you walk the other direction from the centre.

Excellent hotel and service, located only 3 min walking from bus pick up point. Stunning views of the lake. Breakfast variety is acceptable, very good food quality. Perfect hotel for couple holiday to enjoy views and lake/ nature.

We loved everything about our two night stay here. It is right on a beautiful lake, each room awaking to a stunning view. More like a private room/guest house than a hotel. International travelers from everywhere. The owner/manager was terrific. The included breakfast was fantastic - everything we could possibly want or need, served in a lovely dining room. Room was great, very Swiss, spacious, beds were comfortable. Only small thing was the shower - very tight quarters, but clean and hot. We really loved our stay. The surrounding area is the middle of the beautiful Swiss Alps, breathtaking! We would come again in a heart beat.

This hotel is advertised as a 3-star hotel. However, I think that is greatly exaggerated. There is no aircon in the rooms. You cannot leave windows or doors open because of bugs and mosquitos. There was barely enough hot water for one person to shower. Despite paying over $300 USD per night, at breakfast we were told that being a 3-star hotel, we could only have one egg for bfast and had to pay extra for Decaf coffee. Frankly speaking, it is ridiculous that we were charged as much. I would never stay here again.

The room does not have a mini bar fridge. The room does not have air conditioning and it is hot in this part of Switzerland. Even the hotel refuse to provide a fan. The hotel is far from the nearest city and we feel it should have a food menu in the restaurant. But sadly the hotel does not even provide the food in its restaurant. We asked the staff to fill our water bottle after we came back from a long day and the staff refused to do so. Our request was only completed after an argument. We booked this hotel for our honeymoon trip and we are very disappointed with the stay. Its better to stay in the other hotels in the area.

The hotel location was beautiful. It was opposite a lake. The drive from the hotel to Interlaken was fabulous. Breakfast outside was just superb. After 8pm there was nobody at the front desk, and the outside gate is closed, but the key to the room opens it.
