Great condos but the experience differs depending on the unit….some are better than others. The beach is excellent, pool needs updating

Property is clean and spaceious. Kitchen have all amentities and very convinient. Cozy balcony and comfortable furniture. Surroundings are not safe for ladies - locals at Dover beach have bad habit of harrassing female guests.

The condo was beautiful and spacious with an excellent view from the balcony. It sits on a gorgeous beach ($10 to rent a chair and umbrella). Don’t expect it to be like a hotel, it’s not. You won’t really see any staff other than those at the security gates. So positives, great beach, restaurants close by, taxis available, great location, spacious, and secured. Negatives, furnishings need updating, and pool maintenance.

Beautiful property right on the beautiful beach. Walking distance to many restaurants. The staff was wonderful and so friendly and helpful.

Our condo was on the ground floor and was beside the pool and steps away from the beach. The beach is absolutely beautiful! The condo was ok definitely not fancy but had a well equipped kitchen and was spacious enough for our family of 4. The exterior of the building around the pool area could need some refreshing. Just showing some wear and tear. Still had an enjoyable vacation. The location is perfect. Great beach and close to the many restaurants at St. Lawrence Gap.

The unit was clean and comfortable. Check in was easy. The beach has beach chairs stacked and chained up? Would be nice to have chairs to use. There are chairs at the pool but signs say not to move them. The beach is pretty but tends to have sea weed collecting in that particular area. Nice area in general. Way down at the end of St Lawerence Gap (which is a positive for the people who desire a quieter setting).

Stone’s throw away to the sea, and the view is amazing! So spacious for a family of five too. Will definitely use this accommodation again on our next visit to Barbados! ❤️

Views were outstanding! The condo was well maintained and very clean. The only glitch was the pedestrian gate to leave the condo complex... it was out of commission on a few occasions during my stay and on the last day my key got stuck in the gate. Overall, it was a great place to stay!!!

The three bedroom unit #203 was perfect for our stay. It was shared comfortably by 6 adults with enough space and privacy for everyone. It’s close to restaurants, but we also loved having a full kitchen since dining out in Barbados is not cheap. Pool was never crowded and was well maintained. Gym could use some free weights and the elliptical needs to be serviced. Other than that, our unir was perfect and clean and we would definitely choose to stay there again.

Our stay at sapphire Beach was amazing!! Our condo was beautiful and our views were magnificent! Everyone was so nice and accommodating .

Nice private spot on a great beach. We could walk to loads of restaurants. Our only criticism was that we were in the end unit 218 and the next building is under construction until 2020. Banging started at 8am sharp. Since we werent in the room much it wasnt too big a deal.

I liked that we were next to the beach, the beach was quiet, the waves were great, the location also good. The only thing missing in the condo is a radio.

We love everything about this property. It is clean, location is excellent, and the property staff was there to greet us when we arrived and checked us out at noon on the final day. I would not hesitate to return in the future and will definitely recommend to our family and friends.

Clean and secure property. The 3 bedroom villa was very nice with magnificent views. Keys, groceries and a welcome gift were all waiting for us upon arrival. This property is top notch and close to many eateries and shops. Great beach access, almost private feel. Seaweed was an issue for 4 days during trip so be mindful ( south beaches exposed) but not properties fault. I highly recommend Sapphire Beach.

Excellent spot close to tHe beach all condos face the water. Would like to have had salt n pepper and other sundries in condo as you can only buy large amounts for the length of stay..

The condos are close to many of the best restaurants on the island. The beach was in great shape. The staff was very helpful. We had a 3BR condo and were very happy with the condition. It was very well stocked. It even had a cooler and plenty of beach/pool playthings.

Great location. The unit we stayed in was rather “worn”. Soiled fabric on sofas, dirty grout, needs to be painted, etc... lacking in basic maintenance.

This is our second stay at Sapphire Beach condos. Both trips we have experienced clean units and friendly staff. The condos are next door to many food stalls and at the end of St Lawrence Gap which has a wide assortment of restaurants and bars.

Very nice property. Lovely decor. Warm, inviting and spacious. Great, soft sand beach. Lots of authentic roadside, and beachside, restaraunt and bars. Also several charming, higher end seaside restaraunts.

The staff was very friendly. The property is optimally located on Dover beach and is well within walking distance of shops & restaurants. There are several small supermarkets (convenience stores) close by and there are larger markets within ealking distance as well. The unit had a kitchen, which was great for picky children. I would go back here.

We enjoyed our 5 days stay at the apartment. The assistant was very pleasant. She responded to our questions in an efficient manner. Everything that we need was available at the apartment. There were 3 of us in my party, which includes a baby under 2 years old. The only disappointment for us was not being able to use the beach because of the great bulk of sea-weeds on the beach.

Very open and airy. Close to the Gap ( for food and partying). Always taxis available. Security workers attitudes are questionable but it’s nicely gated. I have and will continue to stay here.

We thoroughly enjoyed Sapphire Beach #309. The view and large balcony were excellent, although a higher floor might allow you to see over the trees. Very spacious! Large master and secondary suite. More than enough room for our family of 4. They were doing some work in the pool area which was very loud at times. But nothing major and everything else was great!

Very nice property with easy access to pool and ocean. Also, close to restaurants and nightlife.

In general the prperty is nice and well maintained. The only negative for the property in general is that they didn't clean the seaweed as well as the other areas nearby that were also affected by the seaweed. Every condo will vary depending on the owners. We stayed at 317, it was clean and beautifully decorated. Pros: it was clean and nicely decorated Laudry in the codo was great Blusky property manager was very nice and helpful Welcoming gift from the owners was a nice touch Views were fantastic Kitchen had pretty much everything we needed to cook Cons: the beds were so hard and uncomfortable, the wife and I woke up every morning with sore backs, nothing that would last all day but not a good start of the day and waking up constantly tossing and turning wasn't luxury at all. I would say they were the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept on out of all the places I have stayed throughout the years. The kids didn't care though, they were fine. The glass tops over every table and dresser making it not very child friendly. We were worried throughout our whole stay that one of our smaller kids were gonna get an edge good, thankfully they didn't poke any eyes out or fall into a corner. The ac units are mini splits. There are one in each bedroom and one in the living room. Living room ac motion sensor is useless when you sit down watching tv. It shuts the ac off non stop. Overall the beds are the worst issue, the rest of the cons aren't big issues, just something to note

Downside was that the beach was not useable due to a major seaweed problem which has been an issue for a couple of weeks. It was very disappointing as we chose the property because of the proximity to a beautiful beach and could not use it.

We just returned from a five night stay at Sapphire Beach. This was one of the best, if not the best, places we have ever stayed. The entire facility was clean and well-maintained. Every room overlooks Dover Beach which is simply awesome. The rooms are great and spacious. We had a three bedroom room which was perfect for our family. Within a few seconds walk, there are numerous restaurants which are not too expensive. You can also get some groceries and cook if you wish but eating out will not break the budget too much. Dover Beach is a great beach. My son went boogie boarding every day. Several days he was boogie boarding and a sea turtle would swim right next to him. The water temperature was a nice 81-82 each day which was perfect and much warmer than other places such as Turks and Caicos or US Virgin Islands this time of year. The folks from Blue Sky also do a great job and the entire trip was fantastic.

Wow 116 was excellent. Our two teen daughters had their own room, washroom with a shower and walk in closet on the lower walkout level with the pool just a few steps from their patio. Our small car rental fit in the stall right outside where it was cool covered and shaded. Having a laundry was great. The stairs then wrapped up to the second level of the unit were we had the master bedroom with his and hers walkin closets. The kitchen was well stocked and the dinning table out in the upper deck was lovely. There are two air conditioning units upstairs and one down. How could they make it better?...the slatted exterior entry door and master bedroom were open for sound and air. This let in the street noise, dog barking and tree frogs singing all night long. A deck of cards in the room would be great. Dry measuring cups and a good nonstick pan would make cooking easier. But overall our best vacation ever! The beach was like white flour ❤️ The turtles are right there if you just watch. We even surfed right there. We rented the board just down the way for the day and all took turns by going out in pairs and giving each other a push to start. The surf school fro down the street brought its students here as well.

Simply a fantastic destination if you are going to the Caribbean. Do an island tour, the Atlantis and Harbour Lights Dinner Show the next day, take in the Harrison Cave, and then do the Deep Sea Fishing. Defintely take in Oistins Fish Fry on Friday evening. Unbelievable.

Great location, lovely big balcony looking out over the pools and beach. Particularly special at night. Furnishings very nice, although 3rd bedroom is a bit small and dark. Great selection of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance.

Would definitely return. Everything was great. The beach was amazing. Couldn’t get any closer even at a five star resort. Great customer service. Nice variety of restaurants close by. Very comfortable condo with everything you would need to prepare your own meals.

The unit is spacious and nice view of the beach from the balcony. Check in and out were quick and easy.

Had an amazing 9 day stay in #317 and loved every minute. Condo was exactly as described, very comfortable, clean, with fabulous sea views, a great location - easy walking distance to St Lawrence Gap and only 15/20 mins from Grantley Adams airport. We can't rate our stay highly enough and already considering returning next year!

These are individually owned condos that are rented out so your accommodations will definitely vary based on the owner and their management company. The common spaces are quite nice--lovely pool and the beach is gorgeous. Excellent location right in St Lawerence Gap--many restaurants and some shopping. This is what you are paying for! I may have been spoiled by some fabulous Air BNBs in the states but our condo lacked a welcome package. If they spent $10 some bottled water and a couple of local snacks that would add a nice touch. Also, with a full kitchen you'd expect maybe a little sugar in the cupboard, a few coffee filters...The condo was generally clean and well appointed but not clean when it came to details---dusty areas and most yucky was that there a lot of mold on the bathroom shower curtain! Comfortable beds but the pullout sofa couch was very uncomfortable. Despite all this we had a great vacation in Barbados and at Sapphire Beach Condos however I'd try other accommodations in the future.

We were not sure of what to expect but the place is very worth it. I look forward to going back.

This was an excellent vacation home - beautiful, fully equipped, right o the beach, amazing pools and yard. We loved the terrace overlooking the ocean! The beach is great - one of the best in the area. Everything we could have asked for and more! The neighborhood is great - walkable, lots of good restaurants. We are definitely coming back, this was one of the best vacations we've had and definitely our favorite Carribean spot. The kids loved it so much and it was really convenient being right in the beach. Thank you!

Great condo location for a first time stay in Barbados. Directly on Dover Beach, convenient for walking to St. Lawrence Gap, and all the locals are very welcoming! If we were to return to Barbados, we would definitely stay here again.

Great holiday at Sapphire Beach Condos. Excellent location, right on the beach, two pools and walking distance to restaurants.

We stayed in number 116. The location of this two-story unit was absolutely perfect! You could just walk out of the unit and you were directly at the pool. A few steps away was the gate to the ocean. The waves were fun to play in but nothing too dangerous. Getting chairs and an umbrella on the beach was not a problem but you did have to pay the "beach guy" and he would get them set up for you. We saw turtles right out front and even managed to snorkel with them at the far end of the beach one afternoon. My son rented a surf board and the waves were perfect for a beginner surfer. There was no shortage of restaurants to walk to for dinner and we purchased supplies for breakfasts and lunches at the local grocery store. (Food is quite expensive - I have no idea how the local people manage). All said, we had a wonderful vacation with two of our teenage children at Sapphire Beach. I would love to go back some day!

Great location right on the beach for those looking for a Condo and not a hotel. Everything you need is within walking distance (Market, Restaurants, Surfing) It's the perfect place for those not wanting a hotel experience, and want to go it on their own a bit. The condo in modern and in beautiful condition. A perfect size for a family of 4 where our older kids did not want to share rooms.

We had an amazing time there! The appartement is right on the beach with secure and easy access, as well as a stunning view from the master bedroom. It is very spacious, modern and has everything including a safe, beach towels and towels, as well as a fully equipped kitchen. The location is perfect, right next to St Lawrence Gap which is very lively at night with casual bars and restaurants. The flat is very quiet and offers a good alternative if you do not want to stay in a resort.

Great location (St. Lawrence Gap)- Incredible condo -everything you would need or ask for with beautiful views and directly on the beach. The photos of the Sapphire Beach Condo and views from the rooms are 100% accurate! The only suggestion i would have for the condo complex is to offer an activity or sports room....perhaps table tennis ; pool table; road tennis rackets; soccer ball; basketball etc, To be clear, it did have a perfectly fine gym and its not like they advertised otherwise but access to an activity or two would have been just perfect. Fantastic location in the St Lawrence Gap - a great pedestrian friendly location that is also a mere 10mins drive to many things including the airport, Oistens fish fry; Browne's beach; the horse track (highly recommended!!!!)...and a 25 min drive to perhaps Barbados most enticing beach (Crane Beach). You can confidently book the Sapphire Beach Condos...they are entirely as advertised!
