Four Points by Sheraton at Phoenix Mesa Gateway Airport

We were VERY disappointed when we arrived and were told that they do not serve the free breakfast on the weekend. There was NOTHING about that in their booking.com ad. Also, one of the elevators, though working, was pretty bad to ride in. The doors would close but the ground floor button didn’t work well. We were inside trying to make it work and finally had to open the doors because we were afraid we would be stranded. One time, on the way down, my sister-in-law and 84 yr old mother-in-law DID get stranded coming down from the 5th floor. Finally they were able to get the housekeeping door (back door of the elevator) to open and then had to use the stairs to get all the way down. They front desk said corporate would not let them put an “out of service” sign on it and threat a part as been ordered. We will NOT stay there again and will probably avoid that Marriott brand going forward.

The rooms had such a bad smell. We asked to be transferred to another room but it was the same smell. Maybe it had something to do with the cooling system.

Breakfast was great, I had the steak burrito. Room was spacious. Pool was great. Gym needed a little updating. The place is very near the airport and on a golf course. I hit a bucket of balls after breakfast.. pretty cool. The staff were fantastic. It was my birthday and they gave me a voucher for breakfast :)

Place is a little dated and the gym needs a bit of work but for the price, I'd totally stay there again. Popular with families.. prepare to share the pool.

The room deodorizer or freshener in the hotel lobby was overwhelming!!! Both in the evening and mourning . My husband was allergic to it . Smelled like heavy men’s cologne . The rattling in the room from the AC UNIT was disturbing all night . Never had to pay to park our car overnight. We drove to the airport ourselves yet still had to pay $10 to just spend the night ? Never have had to do that in any of the other hotels in Mesa . The parking lot was virtually empty . I found that ridiculous.

This is a beautiful hotel! The staff is amazing, friendly, and helpful. The hotel is clean, quiet, and modern! I would highly recommend!

It was overall a nice property. Clean, amenities, great location, comfy beds and pillows, ice bathroom, very friendly staff!

The hvac system is terrible. The fan would go on for a minute and off for 10 minutes, then repeat the cycle all night long. It was so loud and clunky that it kept us up all night. It sounded like a small crash each time the a/c kicked on. The walls are thin also so we could hear people passing in the hall: Even with a noise machine, the external noises were too much

Liked that there was a restaurant on site. The hotel looked good and there was outdoor seating at the restaurant. The hallways were looking good and ample parking. Room was nothing special but like many others..

1. Can not tell where the floor buttons are for your stop. Bring a flashlight. Poor elevator manufacturer design. Button number paint wiped off over time. 2. There were many groups. It made it crowded at various times. There is a golf tee right outside the back slider. 3. Due to there being groups, don't count on getting sleep between 10 pm and midnight. Groups wandering the room hallway talking loudly, congregating by the elevator and opening ans shutting noisy room doors etc. Lot's of visiting with each other. Won't stay here again.

Disappointed in having to pay for parking. No free breakfast available for a traveler.

Great location close to Mesa Gateway airport. Shuttle to and from airport was excellent. Good room size and facilities.

Air conditioning unit in the room was so noisy it was not possible to run it at all. Sounded as if the entire room was vibrating and a jet plane landing close by. Room was extremely hot, stuffy and uncomfortable to sleep.

Gross and dirty! The elevators and hall smelled like bad body Odor, the rooms are dirty with trash found in the pull out sofa. AC unit SUPER loud like a diesel truck and would kick on and off every 5 minutes. Did not sleep one minute staying at this place. The room is worn out with chipped furniture stained and frayed sofa and old looking. The pillows were as hard as a brick. We paid almost $300 for one night and I would have slept better on my car.

The first room we were assigned smelled bad of mildew. We were switched to another room which had an adjoining door to the next room, which we were not fans of, and could hear the next-door neighbors plainly. Also, there’s no Jacuzzi in the pool area. The main equipment in the fitness center was broken. The kitchen closed early on Sunday morning so we weren’t able to eat the breakfast that we had already prepaid for and we weren’t offered a refund.

The room was clean, staff was friendly and accommodating. Lights in room should be brighter or at least offer a dimmer. Room is a bit dated except for the tv it seems but otherwise, I’d still stay here again

Excellent. the staff and food were wonderful. All the employees from the front desk, food service and maintenance were so friendly and happy to greet us. we stayed three days and were so impressed. excellent staff.

From beginning to end my stay was beyond “ just what i needed!” Ken picked me , in shuttle , up from sweet little airport out there in Mesa. So kind, attentive and caring. Azzy was sweet and generous in attentiveness . I enjoyed my conversations with her and her kindness. My room was clean and comfortable. Yes walls are thin, but thats what earplugs are for, or white noise app on phone. Price point good/ within my budget. Food prices crazy reasonable!! I really enjoyed sitting outdoors in the peaceful setting. Austin was a kind and gentle soul too who helped with my checking out in the early hours of the morning as i headed to Charlie Kirks memorial ( to stand in line at 1am) I hope i have a reason to stay there again

We were in the 5th floor and the was clean the beds were very uncomfortable. Then there was no internet on that floor so tv only showed the. Irony channels no one cares for. The there is so much noises going on in the room at night. Little beeps and other sounds.

Abby,Amy,Ken, and the restaurant staff are phenomenal from A to Z!!!!When I stay@ Marriott Hotels this is where I always come back to as the entire establishment is professional, accommodating, friendly, and the restaurant food is always made fresh. The restaurant does NOT extra to put substitutes in for charge for food allergies. Plenty of free parking, they have restaurant hours 6-11 for breakfast and dinner is 5pm-9 or 10pm. The checkout is noon( that’s a plus). The rooms have full size shampoo:conditioner/body wash. The room also has coffee maker, huge flat screen, ,mini fridge, microwave, amour, iron/board, & it is sound proof from traffic. I couldn’t hear any neighboring rooms either. It’s a 5 stars in my book and will continue to stay here and I just moved back to the Phoenix area…

The staff were all very helpful and accommodating. 24 hour shuttle service which I needed and used. I did have a noisy ac unit and due to the 118 temps outside it was I. Constant use. Room very clean, very comfy bed and pillows.
