Alishan Hotel

Overpriced for what you get

The Forest National Park with vast area and very fresh air. Magnificent view and great trials….

It’s quite old and requires some painting works and a good coat of paint.

It is right in Alishan forests so, perfect location

I was overcharged, and then they made a big mess to return the money. They tried to overcharge me a second time, just in this occasion I just had the correct amount of money, therefore they weren’t able. It was absolutely unprofessional and very badly managed. The staff in reception do not speak great English so it is difficult to get information or problems solve. Big dissatisfactory place, be careful when paying

There was a bug in the bathtub on arrival. Shuttle bus from the visitor's center to the hotel was not on time so it required us to proactively call the hotel and arrange it.

The extra money was well worth it as it Is situated right in the park making it so easy to walk in the forest. Very well organised picking us up from the bus then dropping us at the railway station in Alishan. Staff are very helpful. Including dinner & breakfast was good. Great buffets.

Was a little tired but that added to the charm

Friendly, helpful staff Comfy and clean Great location

Fantastic location right inside the Alishan Natural Forest and corresponding views of the forest and mountains from the room and restaurant. Walking distance to nearby sights. Shuttle to the train station. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The buffet restaurant has a great selection but the quality was a bit mediocre. The bathroom wasn't cleaned very well. I appreciate it is a historical building but really needs some maintenance/updates.

Ligging

Amazing stay close to the beautiful hiking trails. Very friendly, billingual staff who speak English and Chinese.

Location and view. Staff friendly and accommodating. Good for vegetarians.

Expensive. Seems a bit dated.

Excellent location with a shuttle bus.
