Don't like the restaurant, it feels cold and the food is so so

The daily cleaning crew only left 1 bath towel.

Ive stayed at this property for years when coming back to the SC area. I do love it. Staff is helpful, always clean and feels pretty safe over all. Great for kiddos and dogs when travelling with them.

We had major issues with our keys throughout our entire stay. That was incredibly frustrating. I’ve never had this problem before. Plus they got our room wrong so we had an interesting situation which was quickly resolved- just a lil awkward. Again though quickly resolved so not too much of an issue.

I did not have breakfast.

We needed to ask for more towels, coffee cups and condiments.

The facilities were nice, and the property had a pleasant, relaxing ambiance. It was nice that the pool area were open late, although it probably would have been great if the pool was actually heated as advertised.

The prepaid $25-per-person breakfast package was misleading because its limited inclusions were not disclosed during booking. The voucher covered only a specific American breakfast, and guests could not apply its value toward another menu item—even one costing less. Since I do not eat eggs or enjoy the available sides and meat options, I had very little I could eat and had to pay extra for oatmeal the second morning. The pillows were also extremely thick and hurt my neck; thinner or softer pillows should be available because not every guest finds the same pillow type comfortable.

I liked the seafood tacos and the music for dancing.

My husband didn’t like that our room was near the main entrance of the 1st floor building because of the noise. He did not like that we had to pay extra for parking. He didn’t like his chicken sandwich. The shower was great, but a lot of water sprayed out from the tub, even with curtain closed.

Updated nicely. Grounds are nice, good location. Cleaning could be slightly better but to be expected with an older property.

Wish it had complimentary breakfast.

Reserved a room with garden view, it ended up smelling like smokers lived there. Needed a different room… They only had a room available that was facing the parking lot. Plus, they required $15 charge for parking per car.

Room was not ready when we came at 4:30. ALSO - was not told by booking agent (Booking) that there would be an additional $15 to park for the night. That seems really excessive. Don't most people travel here by car?

It was very clean, beautifully decorated and quiet. The bed had quality sheets. The hot tub was nice and hot.

I couldn’t get wifi in my room and the bed seemed extra firm. The bathroom was super clean but smelled like bleach. It was nice to have a restaurant at the hotel, but the food options weren’t the healthiest and seemed too oily and salty.

I loved the family room; 2 separate rooms and 2 bathrooms!

I liked everything.

What was unclear and not explained to me if there was a breakfast included. So didn't partake. Wasn't clear on the TV's description of what was included.

I wanted to get some small bills to leave a gratuity for the house cleaning staff but neither the front desk or the restaurant had any cash when I asked at about 7:30 am. The person in the restaurant did tell me there would be cash available when the manager arrived at 0800. I couldn't wait.

We reserved 3 rooms. I requested the rooms be close to each other. 2 were next to each other on the 2nd floor, and the other room was on the 1st floor. Also, the bathroom is very small.

The whole experience was wonderful from the friendly staff to the comfortable room.

Property, room, pool were great.

Shower was too small but the water pressure was good. No elevators with luggage was difficult.

the staff was unhelpful and rude. the room was dirty , we didn’t get the room we paid for and the tv didn’t work and they didn’t fix it for us.

Beautiful, felt very well Cared for, beautiful water features and koi, amazing meals in the restaurant. Great live music and wonderful mix of locals and guests to talk to at the bar. Friendly staff.

The lamp between the beds as well as the charging outlets didn't work. I texted with the timing requests, and staff showed (despite requests) while I was in the shower. Three more requests, no repair. An otherwise good experience was very colored.

Personal an der Rezeption teilweise inkompetent, schade um das gute Restaurant(Severino’s Grill)das gibt es nicht mehr. Das jetzige hat mich nach einem Blick auf die Speisekarte nicht eingeladen, dort essen zu gehen.

pillows were horrible. In room coffee could be better. Other than that it is a great place.

The property is lovely and well maintained. The swimming pool/spa area is really nice. Even the restaurants is good and the staff are gracious and professional. What was not wonderful was that the door to our room, 632, was not insulated at all. Housekeeping was loud at 8 am and we could hear the neighbor's phone alarm going off at 6:30 am. The staff walked through the building with the heavier outside doors slamming behind them and then turn around and do it again. We could very clearly hear housekeeping replacing the trash bags outside-- no insulation. It was annoying and disrupted the peace of the early morning.

Liked the sliding door that opened to a private patio and lawn and the nearby pool.

The trash piled up needed to be collected. Maybe guests should not be allowed to blast their own music by the pool. Front desk might have been a little more informative, taking a little more time to explain parking fees and incidental charge on credit card.

Restaurant menu limited. Previously had much better menu. Had no body wash or soap in shower. Empty bottle only.

We have a history with this hotel so we're kinda biased. Hilton has added facilities and it's great. The room we had felt a bit dated, though clean. Could use better pillows and a firmer bed.

The property is landscaped pristinely. The pool and hot tub were very inviting. The overall ambiance was calm and peaceful. Love that every room has a balcony or patio. The proximity to the beach, Nicine woods and Marianne’s ice cream were major highlights.

Only complaint I had was my mattress had dips and valleys. It needed replacement. My partners bed was very comfortable.

I love this hotel and have been coming for 20 years. Ever since Hilton has owned it, I have really been disappointed with the parking fee. These types of hidden fees make me feel like I'm being taken advantage of right at the check in and as such, I didn't feel a warm welcome here. I would appreciate the fee being stated up front if you must charge but why not give your guests free parking? Also, very small, but why charge $3 for a water bottle? I feel way more welcomed at hotels where the simplest of gestures, such as a complementary bottle of water, create a warm generous welcome. I love the grounds at this hotel- pool, spa- but just go the distance and give your guests an experience with a bit less "nickle and diming"...that will go a long way to make a more quality experience. You can really feel the bottom line here (making money) and less emphasis on the guest's experience.

The grounds were nice. Parking was easy rooms were clean pretty Koi pond that you can sit next to and have your breakfast or your coffee in the morning.

The pool is green on the walls inside of the pool and the jacuzzi wasn’t hot enough and towels were always lacking

Phenomenal location. Close to everything had a little gym that was nice and nobody was in it every morning. The pool in the center of the property was a nice feature. The rooms were nicely updated and looked like they had been recently remodeled.

Our room wasn’t cleaned any day we were there. The pool is incredibly dated and the plaster is wearing off. It looks really old in the water was green The facility is all wood and there’s a lot of dry rod and chipping paint throughout. The interior is nice, but the exterior looks worn and run down

Last night dinner we had 3 salads which hand sand/dirt in it. All the the cafe at this hotel did was delete the salad from our total bill, with hardly an apology.

We requested housekeeping on two different days and it never got cleaned. We were traveling with two toddlers and had to eat in our room, we went to the beach….. lots of sand and crumbs.

I like how accessible it is to the freeway, to be able to get around town. I also liked our friendly the staff was. I really liked how comfortable the bed and pillows were.

I didn’t like that there wasn’t any hand soap by the sink. I also didn’t like that the room sliding glass doors were filthy as well as parts of the room. I also didn’t like that the hotels Jacuzzi was down for maintenance. That would have been nice to have known before booking.

The next day we went and ventured, came back to use the pool to hear nothing but jackhammering the entire time. This trip was meant for relaxation and turned into a nightmare.

Housekeeping NEVER came to our room even through we requested it at the front desk on two different days. AC didn’t work, had to have maintenance come in within the first 15 minutes.

I typically love this property and come here when I can, it’s close to family and it’s beautiful-however this particular trip was a bit more difficult

Hot tub was closed and we were sad about that… Also, I tripped and fell really hard on a bit of broken walkway-whole food was not as good as it is typically… and the mattress was not nearly as comfortable as it is typically -potentially a new mattress needed -overall not as enjoyable as it is usually, but the weather was beautiful
