Zoooo mooi. We werden supervriendelijk ontvangen Alles zoals wij willen. Rust,stilte,...heerlijk zwembad met een prachtig uitzicht Zeeeer lekker gegeten. Lekkere wijn " Riso".

Das Bett war zu hart.

Funcionarias muito simpáticas, local da piscina agradável e apesar do caminho ser em terra batida e sem luz pública durante alguns quilómetros até se faz razoavelmente bem. Como é no meio de campos torna-se bastante relaxante, ideal para quem se quer desconectar totalmente. Jantámos uma vez e era muito bom.

Não tem televisão (nem no quarto, nem na sala de convívio), o colchão era velho e parecia uma tábua, as paredes do quarto estavam a descacar (não só a tinta), fora do quarto temos pouca rede (dentro do quarto não tem nenhuma, nem internet) e não há wifi. O jantar é caro - 37,5€ p/pessoa.

Limpeza junto da piscina- não foi efetuada( lixo do dia anterior não é retirado) Piscina sem limpeza, a bomba tinha-se estragado e não havia ventilação na piscina, estava a ser limpa com uma mangueira Pequeno almoço razoável, mas sem as doses indicadas para a quantidade de pessoas que a herdade tinha. Não há grande ou nenhuma alternativa de snacks para almoço, apenas hambúrguer e cachorros. Não há secadores de cabelo no quarto

Alugamos um apartamento, a parte da cozinha e sala não foram limpas ! Os caixotes cheios de lixo na cozinha ! E mesmo a limpeza interior muito fraca , a parte da piscina ainda com lixo do dia anterior, a piscina cheia de verdete os fatos de banho ficaram todos amarelos ! Nota-se que o espaço está pouco cuidado o que é uma pena

Localização: verdadeiro monte Alentejano com muita tranquilidade. Simpatia dos funcionários.

Estrada de acesso péssima (4km de terra batida com buracos e terra solta), isolamento acústico terrível dos quartos que deixa passar minimo barulho e estão muito pertos da cozinha e zona de refeição sem qualquer protecção para evitar ruido (tudo se ouve!), pequeno almoço decepcionante (ainda estive à espera que acabassem de fazer), alojamento tinha um grupo que estragou qualquer tipo de sossego ou tranquilidade... lamento muito mas não posso ter uma boa opinião.

Cadre magnifique, convivialité et très bon accueil

Het is een fantastisch mooie plek waar verder helemaal niets is. Ontzettend vriendelijk personeel. ‘s Avonds kun je tegen betaling aanschuiven voor een viergangendiner met allerlei gasten van de locatie. Heel gezellig om zo andere mensen te ontmoeten. Het zwembad ligt heel mooi met een fantastisch uitzicht over de omgeving. Aanrader voor een paar dagen niets doen.

Het appartement heeft een beperkte uitzet, er was bijvoorbeeld geen kurkentrekker en het koffiezetapparaat deed het niet. We kregen wel direct een nieuw apparaat. Koelkast deed het ook niet goed, maar we mochten alles in de openbare koelruimte leggen.

Très franchement c’est au milieu de nulle part. Et on se sent en famille avec l’accueil du personnel. Le repas du soir est excellent le vin aussi

Attention il y a deux accès, bien choisir celui qui a une vraie route et pas celui qui peut être très fun avec une voiture tout terrain

Un sogno in mezzo al nulla. Luogo di pregio architettonico e naturale. Splendida e fatta con amore la cena condivisa.

* The grounds: The property itself is gorgeous, surrounded by beautiful scenery with great hiking trails accessible directly on foot. * The staff: Truly the highlight of our stay - exceptionally warm, helpful, and welcoming.

* The pool: The pool water was untreated during our visit - it was visibly hazy and full of bugs, making it uninviting for a swim. * Maintenance issues: There was visible mold on some of the walls, along with noticeable wear and tear (broken plaster/cracks) in several areas that need urgent attention. * Breakfast: Decent enough to start the day, though the selection was fairly limited and lacked variety. * Amenities & Entertainment: * The rooms are basic and minimalist, but sufficient for a short stay. * There are no TVs in the rooms - if you like evening entertainment, bring a laptop or tablet. * The tennis court is aged and unmaintained, though still usable for a casual game. * The ping pong table is also showing its age, but it was clean and provided a few fun games!

Le côté rural de l’endroit est très sympathique ainsi que le personnel

Aucun wi-fi si vous voulez venir trouver le calme et séjourner plus longtemps pour travailler. Ce n’est pas l’endroit où aller vous êtes totalement coupé du monde et c’est un réel problème.

J'ai beaucoup aimé que cela soit perdu dans la nature et trouver un endroit si agréable au milieu de nul part. Les deux Inès sont très sympas et la cuisinière aussi 😁

La piscine était un peu sale c'est la seule petite reproche

Das ganze Landgut ist ein Hingucker - sehr schön hergerichtet. Man kann sich nur wohlfühlen. Unser Zimmer war groß, etwas spartanisch eingerichtet aber mit großem Bad und Klimaanlage. Auf Rückfrage konnten wir auch ein paar Sachen von uns in den Kühlschrank stellen. Der Rotwein war sehr gut. Das Highlight ist die Aussicht und der Infinity-Pool. Parkplätze stehen zur Verfügung.

Im Preis war das Frühstück inbegriffen - es ist ausreichend, aber auch übersichtlich. Für uns war es etwas spät zwischen 9 und 11 Uhr. Dies unterstützt nicht ein frühes Weiterkommen. In der Herdade kann man auch an einem Gemeinschaftstisch ein Abendessen (Menü) bekommen. Das Essen ist vorgegeben und aus unserer Sicht mit 37,50€ p.P. zu teuer. Wir haben uns dagegen entschieden ... .

O Wi-Fi apenas está presente na casa principal o que deixa os quartos fora dessa localização completamente sem comunicações. Visto não haver televisões nos quartos, acho que pelo menos Wi-Fi deveria estar disponível em todo o lado. O facto de apenas estar disponível o jantar (mediante marcação e apenas um prato disponível), faz com que tenhamos de sair da herdade todos os dias para almoçar. A piscina estava um pouco suja

Muito agradável . Um lugar maravilhoso para descansar. A D Teresa é uma simpatia e ao jantar serviu nos um fantástico bacalhau com espinafres e broa delicioso. Recomendo e certamente irei voltar

Piscina, da simpatia das pessoas

Demoram a receber nos , cobraram nos 15 euros por os dois cães onde estava descrito no início que aceitavam cães naquele quarto sem indicação de custos, 30 euros por refeição muito caro

O sossego e o ambiente, bem como o conforto da casa e dos espaços comuns, foram ideais para recarregar baterias. O pessoal é extremamente prestável e simpático e o pequeno-almoço era delicioso e muito completo.

O acesso à herdade, principalmente os últimos 3,5kms deixaram poucas saudades para quem teve de fazer o caminho de moto. Esperamos que a via possa ser arranjada em breve, pois gostaríamos muito de voltar.

Piękna, bajkowa i sielska okolica, cisza, spokoj, piękny i zadbany basen, bardzo mil gospodarze, bardzo dziękujemy za przygotowaną bardzo smaczną kolację (w dniu noclegu było święto narodowe i wszystkie restauracje były zamknięte), czuliśmy się zaopiekowani, bardzo smaczne i różnorodne śniadanie, piękne wnętrza domu i bardzo ładny pokój z widokiem na ogród. Serdecznie polecam, pozdrawiamy 😉

The hote room! Doesn’t have black outs, bathroom doesn’t have doors… not comfortable AT ALL

A very atmospheric place, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Beautiful surroundings, stunning dark skies at night, and friendly, helpful staff. The access road is gravel but in good condition. The Wi-Fi can occasionally be a bit unstable, but you don’t come to a place like this to spend your time on the internet anyway.

A localização. A piscina. O ambiente á volta da herdade. A simpatia de todos as colaboradoras. O pequeno almoço com ovos, pão, compotas, café, iogurte, frutas, bolos caseiros… O espaço exterior agradável. O sossego. O facto de não ter TV.

O que acho que podiam melhorar é o espaço de lazer junto á piscina. O mobiliário nos quartos está desgastado. O wifi podia estar disponível nos quartos e na zona exterior. Nada de negativo, mas aspectos a melhorar para tornar a estadia ainda mais completa.

Gostei muito da quietude do lugar, da bela casa, da simplicidade e bom gosto da decoração, do conforto dos quartos, da boa mesa e da simpatia das pessoas que nos acolheram, a D. Teresa, a Sara e a Inês. Parabéns!

Ainda que seja dificil apontar algo negativo, admito que talvez esperasse uma oferta mais diversificada no que diz respeito ao jantar, face ao preço praticado. No entanto o conceito do 'jantar em familia' (em conjunto), quase o 'jantar lá de casa', agrada-me bastante.

Simpatia do staff. Não tivemos qualquer problema com o nosso cão, foi super bem recebido. Bom pequeno almoço.

A piscina não estava disponivel para uso e só fomos informados quando chegamos ao local. A maquina do café, bem como frigorifico disponiveis no apartamento estavam avariados.

O pequeno almoço era muito bom, o sitío é lindissimo e convida a vivenciar tudo com calma.

A única coisa que seti falta foi de uma tv no quarto, muito embora isso faça com que nos obrigue a desligar.

La maison est magnifique, mais il faut savoir qu'elle est tres à l'écart. Il nous a fallu faire plusieurs kilomètres de chemin de terre pour y arriver. Mais quel calme ! Tout était très bien, juste un bémol pour la literie .

La literie

Durante a minha estadia, ocorreu uma situação bastante desagradável que considero importante partilhar com futuros hóspedes. Ao jantar, dirigi-me à mesa de aperitivos e, ao retirar um pedaço de queijo, fui abordada de forma abrupta e em tom elevado pela cozinheira, na presença de outros clientes, dizendo que não poderia servir-me naquele momento. Apesar de ter pedido desculpa de imediato, a forma como fui tratada foi desadequada e pouco profissional. Compreendo que possam existir regras internas quanto ao serviço, mas estas devem ser comunicadas com educação e respeito, sobretudo num contexto em que os hóspedes estão a pagar pela experiência. A abordagem utilizada causou-me constrangimento e deixou uma impressão negativa sobre o atendimento. Deixo esta nota para que a gerência possa melhorar a forma como comunica com os clientes e evitar situações semelhantes no futuro.

Accueil, calme, chaleureux, ferme rénovée simple et moderne. Campagne alentour. L’hôtesse nous a très gentiment offert une planche de charcuterie et fromage pour le dîner.

Le cuisinier n’étant pas là il fallait faire 30 minutes de voiture aller et 30 minutes retour pour trouver un restaurant.

em relação ao pequeno almoço, não sendo nada extraordinário, foi bom. Achei a localização muito boa, bonita, muito bom para descansar, menos o acesso, terrível. As pessoas (funcionários) muito simpáticas, embora achei que eram poucos. O que menos gostei e acho issencial naquele espaço é a manutenção, espaço exterior/interior ( ex: vidros, escadas). Mas é um sitio a recomendar.

The location is beautiful- views all round, peaceful and ideal for staying with dogs. The dinners were exceptional- with local ingredients and adapted to our tastes. The staff were more than helpful and made our stay a delight.

Room was good, but unconvinced about the open bathroom/bedroom setup. As with all old buildings in the countryside in the Alentejo damp seems to be an issue-but the heating kept us toasty.

Herdade do Vau is the kind of peaceful romantic picturesque getaway where you arrive for relaxation and quietly wonder if you will ever be emotionally strong enough to leave. Founded on Alentejo soil older than most small European governments, this estate sits near the Guadiana River which has been minding its own business for thousands of years while humans come here to drink Riso and make questionable decisions. We came during the off season which meant two things. One. It was a bit colder. Two. We basically had the entire estate to ourselves like some mildly delusional aristocrats who inherited land by accident. Highly recommended if you enjoy silence, privacy, and pretending you own several vineyards you absolutely do not. We met Miguel the owner, who radiates the calm confidence of a man who negotiates directly with the earth. Then there is Ines.. pleasant, welcoming, kind, and somehow running the whole place while looking like she has never experienced stress or even a slightly raised pulse. Teresa the friendly superb cook launched a full scale culinary attack which included cheese platter, duck rice, to pair with two bottles of Riso.. enough food to make our stomachs consider filing official complaints. NOTE : The nearest town with restaurants is about a twenty minute drive away. So do yourself a favor and choose the in house dinner for thirty five euro, which I highly recommend unless you enjoy night driving through rural silence where even the stars mind their own business. Lucky and Shot, the property’s two hunting dogs who patrol the grounds with the enthusiasm of security guards who were paid in sausages. They stared at us like they knew our secrets and accepted them anyway. Daytime was for sitting by the pool sipping beer with panoramic views dramatic enough to trigger spontaneous philosophical thoughts. Nighttime was for the fireplace, wine, Christmas music, and a level of comfort so deep it felt illegal in several countries.

A simpatia da D. Teresa e da Inês. O Alojamento é fantástico na decoração rústica de muito bom gosto. Acolhedor e tudo muito limpinho. Pequeno-almoço bem servido.

A localização é um pouco distante das localidades, contudo os acessos são bons.

Herdade do Vau is a beautiful and peaceful retreat in the heart of the Alentejo. The views over the plains are simply stunning, and there’s a small lake that adds to the charm of the landscape. The house itself is very traditional, both inside and out, with a large garden that invites you to relax and enjoy the surroundings. You can take a short and pleasant walk down to the river, and if the night sky is clear, you’ll be treated to an incredible display of stars — truly breathtaking.

The access road is quite bumpy and could be rough on smaller or rented cars, so a 4x4 is recommended. Wi-Fi coverage is weak, and there’s no 4G or 5G signal in the area, which can be inconvenient if you need to stay connected. The mattresses and pillows could be more comfortable, and the rooms would benefit from better soundproofing, especially between the corridor and the bathroom area.

Beautiful, peaceful setting, with very interesting buildings, and beautiful design. Incredibly friendly staff, and delicious breakfast.

One of the rooms was noisy from the sound of a water pump, hot water controls were a little difficult in one room.

Een rustige omgeving en heerlijk zwembad. De kok was uitstekend, wij raden aan om het diner daar te nuttigen. Personeel was heel vriendelijk.

Je moet wel 4km over een kiezelweg rijden voordat je er bent, maar dan heb je ook een prachtige plek bereikt.

L'environnement de l'hébergement, l'accueil et tout particulièrement Rachel, rayonnante, qui par son accueil chaleureux et enthousiaste contribue grandement à la note donnée. La Piscine avec vue sur les oliviers ! Des espaces pour plus d'intimité Tout est fait pour que nous passions un très bon séjour tout en ayant l'impression d'être seuls. Je recommande !

Thought it was a wine estate from the marketing but no wine made this year.

The smell of damp in the apartment advertised as a one bed house accommodation was awful, it felt like the place had not been occupied for some time. It was very cold, damp and smelled of damp. There was a dehumidifier on in the bedroom and although it had been put on before we arrived it wasn’t working when we arrived as it was so full of water. We emptied it three times a day including in the middle of the night and still the air was damp. Overnight the alarm on it went off when full. The bed was also cold hard and damp which cannot be good for you. The air conditioning appeared to work sometimes but as the rooms were so cold we needed heating. Most of the time the heating didn’t work as an E7 error came up on the machine in the late evening / night when we came back and needed it. We went to bed wearing full winter jumpers and still woke up cold in the night. The rooms were not very clean- there were cobwebs between the chair legs and sand and grit on the sofa cushions which indicated they had not been cleaned or dusted for some time. The bathroom mirror was stained and also not clean. There was no bin bag provided for the kitchenette and the washing up sponge provided was so old and disgusting we went out and bought our own. There were only two hangers provided on the rail for clothes which is inadequate for two people staying 4 nights . The blinds on the window were old and broken and rusty from the damp. We had to keep our bags shut as lizards appeared in the bedroom and we didn’t want them to get into our luggage. Wouldn’t recommend this apartment . Perhaps the rooms In the mainhouse are better ventilated and a better option than our experience. It was not as good value compared to other places in the region where we have stayed. Internet was not available in rooms and even in the main house sitting next to the router at breakfast it was hard to get good reception. Worth knowing if you were likely to need good internet.

Wat een fantastische locatie midden in de natuur met een fantastisch uitzicht. Het ontvangst door de eigenaar was informatief en heel gemoedelijk.

Sehr tolle ganz ruhige Lage abseits in der Pampa.

Zufahrt eher Schotterpiste als Strasse. Auto komplett verstaubt. Zum Essen sitzen alle Gäste am gleichen Tisch. Konversation war mühsam da mein Englisch schlecht. Daher Aussenseiter.
