the beds were comfortable, the tv did not work properly and i couldnt mix with my laptop for movies, washrooms was okay - I had to pick up candy wrappers off the floor and wipe done the surfaces ( dust) with my lysol wipes on checkout they did give me a 40 $ off the room

We stayed in one of the cabins on site. Was very spacious and the amenities were above and beyond. Pool and Hot tubs were an added bonus for the kids and the hours of operation for them were perfect.

Found out after the stay about other activities and on site services. During check in nothing was mentioned - no promotion of the offered services. Recommend doing your research on the space when staying.

It was in a bit of a remote location surrounded by an apple orchard. The restaurant although super expensive, very yummy. We ate 2 dinners and 2 breakfasts there since we were close to anything.

Everything and more, in this single location! Beautiful Country Orchard Setting, not far at all from town. Very welcoming Staff at Check-in & Check-out. On-sight Restaurant. On-sight Spa. There was a 5pm Wine tasting, of local Nova Scotia wines; very insightful & helpful. Clean, quiet, well appointed room, with very nice bedding for a comfortable & peaceful sleep. Very nice shower. Highly recommend

The restaurant was excellent. Food was great and the servers were so helpful. The room was a perfectly fine hotel room. Grounds and view from a waterside room were lovely. Rooms were quiet.

Bathroom door was barn door style, which I dislike. Bedding and pillows were good but not great, a little sweaty. I’m listing the negatives to be thorough, but to be honest we loved our stay and would absolutely recommend it

We had a cabin in the woods. Beds & amenities were clean. Hot Tub & Pool weren't busy.

We booked for 3 adults but only had 2 cups, 2 towels and 2 robes. A good layer of dust under the beds.

Asked twice reception on the first night to have a look at the hairdryer as it didn’t work, nothing was done. Asked to have a kettle ( as there were tea bags in the room), that wasn’t done. On our return from our day out, our room keys had been deactivated. Had to go all the way back to get new, it was done but no apologies. We found that the only thing that had been done in our room were the beds (barely). Bathroom messy and untouched. Pool was pretty good but could do with a revamp as the tiles inside the pool look dirty. Made some comments upon check out but not sure reception were that bothered

Restaurant Terroir was excellent - food and serving staff. We could walk from the cottages to the restaurant. Good quality bedding and mattresses. The Inn is trying hard and I wish them well.

We were 4 golfers in two cottages for two nights. Good standard of accommodation but perhaps a little dear. (Bathroom was very compact with rather low and small toilets.) My deposit is still being held 4 days after check out…

The room was comfortable. There was a free wine tasting each evening and the on-site restaurant was excellent. Loved the outdoor hot tub!

Could do with updating, we stayed in the cabins away from the main hotel, the road round the cabins needs speed humps as people drive far too fast children play outside. Our outside table was old and dirty not good.

We stayed at the cottage and we prefer it rather than the main hotel building. The cottage is comfortable and clean. Perfect for family or couple. The restaurant is beautiful, unfortunately we didnt have a chance to dine in there. Swimming pool that close pretty late is a bonus!

Everything was great til morning coffee when my daughter took a taste of the coffee made in the room. She thought she had a piece of plastic or something off of the pod in her mouth when in fact it was a bug!! I don’t have a pic right now (4:30 a.m.) but she does. Not a pleasant start to the day.

The resort is very peaceful, set in a beautiful bucolic landscape. There’s a lot to do on site. The staff are more than helpful and respectful.

Only a few small details. Our cabin had only one armchair, which was old and too low for an older person to get up from. In order to relax and read we had to sit on our beds. There was a street light that shone right onto my pillow until 1:00 am, which I found disturbing.

Terrible service. We extended our stay on Booking.com and it didn’t make it to their system. It took hours for them to find us somewhere to stay. We were promised that dinner and the missed night would be reimbursed. They weren’t.

We stayed in one of the cabins and it was very nice and charming. There a little kichenette which was nice. The beds were clean and very good to sleep in. The whole cabin was nice and clean. There were chairs outside the cabin which was very nice. I'd love to stay there again.

Wonderful resort with swimming pool and a couple of outdoor jacuzzis. Resort also offers extensive spa services. Nice large rooms with in-room coffee machine. On-site restaurant was excellent - great menu and wine selection and our meals were delicious. Great location near numerous wineries and UNESCO sites.

Great location to get to 101. The restaurant was fantastic. We were in a cottage. It was quiet. Nice sized room. Parking right in front of your cottage. The view from the restaurant and patio was gorgeous

Cottage was a little rustic and there was a warning about limited hot water. Fine for two, but 4 showering may be an issue.

The ac unit shuts off periodically and im not sure if theres a way to fix that but im the type of person who cant sleep without white noise so i was getting up alot throughout the night to turn it on. The walls are also pretty thin and i could hear alot of talking and dogs barking in the late hours. Other than that it was a decent stay.

Breakfast was reasonably priced and the food and service were very good

I found the shower stall to be quite small. And at my age I prefer comfort-height toilets. Minor inconveniences to others but somewhat off-putting for me.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel in wine country. Our room was clean, well appointed and had a beautiful view of the orchard and valley from large picture windows. The pool and the hot tubs worked well and was a pleasant addition to our stay. The in house restaurant Terroir was excellent for both breakfast and dinner We had easy access to both the downtown area of Wolfville and the local wineries. They even had a complimentary wine tasting. We would stay here again if our travels bring us back to the area. It was an excellent value.

The beds were very comfortable, and the kids loved the pool. We liked the room location.

The cleanliness was poor. They did a poor job of making the beds (I crawled into bed, and the corner sheet was up and off; we had to remake the bed at bedtime), the table was never wiped, and they did not provide coffee to the room even though it was in the description.

We stayed in one of the cabins. It was a bit too rustic for our tastes especially the bathroom but there was enough room.

Should have stayed at the Inn but it was a last minute booking so this is what was available and it costs way more than it was worth. We didn’t use the shower as it was micro small and gross. Needs to be updated.

⭐☆☆☆☆ 1/5 - One of the worst hotel experience in my 22+ years of travel. I spent hours at the front desk just trying to get a workable solution. Overbooking happens. How a hotel responds is what matters. Old Orchard Inn failed on communication, accountability, and customer service. I would not recommend this property if you expect a great travel experience. I booked a one-bedroom cottage through Booking.com and, knowing I'd arrive late, I informed the property via Booking.com messages. They *confirmed my late arrival was not an issue*. When I arrived around 7:30 PM, I was told my cottage was no longer available because the property had been overbooked due to multiple weddings. Instead, I was offered a hotel room which I dont want. At that hour, with my family, after a long drive, my only choices were to accept what they had to offer OR just cancel and look for another place to stay late at night. Note that hotel was not willing to cancel to avoid damages to them. I suggested a reasonable solution: stay in the hotel room for one night and move to the cottage the next day. I was happy to pay for the cottage from the following day, but I was asked to pay more than my original confirmed booking price for the same accommodation. Why should a guest pay more because of the hotel's overbooking? To make matters worse, while I was standing at the front desk, the property updated Booking.com stating that the front desk was waiting to accommodate my booking. That was misleading—they could not provide the accommodation I had reserved. I also tried contacting the General Manager but received no response. The only staff member who showed professionalism, empathy, and a genuine willingness to help was Vanessa. She did everything she reasonably could to assist me and deserves recognition. I cannot say the same for Kat, James (Manager), and the rest of the team I dealt with.

Cabins are rented out by youngsters to party. Which create noise at night. Pool is cold. No place to change at the pool. The cabins are far from soundproof and not all windows have curtains so if you don’t wake up from other people slamming their doors you wake up at the light of day.

Booked a double quiet room with valley view. The view was amazing. Room was large and clean. Bathroom was also very clean. Are in the restaurant which was beautiful. Service was great too.

We had a fantastic stay here. The staff were all amazing - they are the epitome of maritime hospitality. We loved our drive-up room, and enjoyed morning coffees and afternoon drinks on the outdoor patio. Our breakfasts in the restaurant were excellent and the view is absolutely gorgeous. We’d definitely stay again.

Die Cottages recht eng beieinander bei schrägem Untergrund, so das Parken und das Sitzen davor etwas schwierig war. Die Tisch/Bank Kombi war bei unserem Haus recht verrottet

We had two cottages booked for our families. They were quaint and nostalgic. The teens swam in the pool. We enjoyed the experience.

Making the reservation over the phone was easy! The staff were helpful and assured us we would have connecting rooms for our stay. However, our rooms were not connected, were poorly cleaned and one room connected to a room with an anxious dog and very loud dog owners. No one at the front desk cared or was helpful in person. After emailing the reservation office about our disappointing stay I have yet to hear any response. Very disappointing. The restaurant is the best part of the Inn.

Pillows were lumpy, beds dipped in the middle. There was a previous guests shirt on the floor behind the chair, so clearly not cleaned thoroughly. Definitely not worth the price.

This was the worst stay I have ever had in my 45 years of professional and personal travel. Almost $500 for one night is highway robbery for this exceptionally poor facility. The micro suites in Wolfville is less than half the cost and a far better facility and location. The Old O is just that- OLD AND NOT WORTH WHAT WAS CHARGED!

This is an older property but it is in fantastic shape, and ongoing renovation is keeping this gem in brilliant shape! Loved the location, the staff were amazing, room excellent, restaurant was fantastic!

Renovations in this hotel have improved the experience based on what I have read in older reviews. We had a drive up room with two queen beds. Very convenient with the drive up but no view from the room. Second level rooms have a balcony and view on one side of the building. Third floor has no balconies. The renovated rooms have the feel of a Hampton inn which means they were comfortable and well appointed. The dining room is tastefully decorated. Service for our breakfast was good with a bit of oversalting for otherwise good food. We had a group breakfast (with meal choices preordered) where they really fell down on both the food quality and service. There is no buffet breakfast offered. The grounds are beautiful with fantastic views from some rooms, the dining room, and terrace.

Beautiful decor of old and modern

I guess there is nothing better out here. The rooms have old furniture , only the bathrooms are updated. Carpeting is DISGUSTING. In fact, at the entrance the welcome mat is gross, you only get one once chance at a first impression. Pillows are shot and old. Stay elsewhere, don’t be fooled by the renovated restaurant.

The grounds are beautiful. The gazebo was a really nice place to sit and relax.

We were very happy with our experience at The Old Orchard Inn. Such a beautiful location . Our room was very comfortable, looking out over the orchard. We were especially impressed with all the staff we had interactions with, especially those in the dining room & bar. The location was great, being so close to Wolfville where we enjoyed spending time in the various pubs & shops. We have already told friends back home in Ontario that if they’re heading to the East Coast, they should plan a stay at the Inn.

The beds were uncomfortable. Aircon was kind of difficult to manage. The air blows directly under the curtains so the curtains are blowing around letting light in. While I couldn’t hear anyone next to us the hall way was noisy when people would go by.

This hotel was average. Very friendly staff. Washrooms were tiny with no cupboard space and the room was outdated. We had problems with our in room coffee maker. They replaced it once but it still didn’t work. Great location to the town of Wolfville which we were seeking

Breakfast. The granola toast left a lot to be desired both in taste and presentation. Only bad meal I had on our vacation. Disappointing. I suggested to management you should have crêpes on the menu.

Unplanned in lack of alternatives we had to book this hotel. The only room available was a 2-Queen. Old shappy and a filthy sheets which were not even changed on request as promised. Fortunately we could book for the following nights a different place. They charged 3 nights.

We loved that the inn had an indoor pool and we got to use it as a family while it wasn't busy! We loved the cabin. We loved the gardens and the view and the location close to Wolfville! We love the staff Cole and his associate We're extremely helpful! the fire pit area was awesome and we would have loved to have used had we stayed longer!

We didn't like number 420 cabin as it was too close to the road that Horton high school was situated on. We heard several large trucks and several school buses entering and leaving early in the morning! We also had a tree trimming business using a chainsaw before 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning! Directly behind our cabin! We noticed that the propane in the fire pits all four were empty!

The small cabin had everything you could possibly need, the restaurant and bar were nice, food was good, easy in and out, staff was wonderful.

The accommodation was lovely and clean. However, it was very noisy, to the point where I could hear people arguing in the middle of the night. Given the high price and the fact that I couldn't sleep at night, I'd rather stay somewhere else.

The cabins were very private and secluded from the rest of the complex. Really liked how it was situated amongst the trees. It was charming for the cabin to be set in the woods.

The bathroom was a little dark. Particularly in the shower.
