Jodogahama Park Hotel

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The views are pretty good but I have stayed in a lot of places that had great views with better accommodations.

The rooms did not meet expectations and the listing photos seem to be from when they were need. There was scuffs, marking, and scrapes all over a very worn and dated room. There was some some type of vent in the wall that was very moldy (see photo) and one of the ceiling boards was coming down. The hallway carpet outside the rooms was filthy with dirt and debris like it hadn't been vacuumed in weeks. Breakfast was a bit chaotic due to the multiple table buffet layout and the food was just average. Would not stay here again and its definitely overpriced, not recommended.

Great location in the middle of a national park/beach. Dinner and breakfast buffets were awesome, even the picky eater in the group found something.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön gelegen. Rundum Wald oder der Ausblick auf die Küste. Genügend Parkplätze vorhanden, sogar für Elektroautos. Das Hotel ist gut ausgestattet und unser Zimmer war sehr geräumig mit schönem Ausblick. Das Buffet am Abend war umfangreich und lecker.

Onsen mit Tatoos leider nicht möglich.

Emplacement idéal sur le bord de mer, isolé, plage idyllique sur le pacifique. Restaurant buffet avec énormément de choix (dont beaucoup de spécialités japonaises et choix de cuisine occidentale)

Ein wunderschönes Gebäude mitten auf dem Hügel, an dem der Jodogahama Strand ist. Nettes personal, gutes Frühstück und Abendessen, sauber und tolles Gemeinschaftsbad. Nur einen kurzen Weg vom Strand entfernt.

Die Lage ist das einzige, was man kritisieren kann, aber das sollte logisch sein, wenn man sich die Position des Hotels anschaut und ist etwas, mit dem man rechnet. Das Hotel bietet einen gratis Shuttleservice zu und von der Miyako Station und es fahren mehrere Busse generell Richtung Strand. Die Busse hören aber früh auf zu fahren, also wenn man in der Stadt was essen will, muss man entweder früh zurück zum Hotel, oder man geht zu Fuß.

料理の味付けが丁度良かった。

料理も美味しく、料理が小鉢に盛り付けてあるのは、品が有ってよいが、バイキング式なので、逆に色んな種類を乗せにくくなるし、お盆も少し小さい感じなので、小分けされてる大皿の様なのがあれば良いと思いました。

景色かとても良かった。 ホテルの人もとても親切だった。 朝食の時間を忘れてたら、連絡をくれた。連絡もらえなかったら、食べそこなっていたので、助かった。 ビュッフェも美味しかった。

Really horrible experience here with the front desk. Gaslighted and lied to by the reception. They gave us the wrong room after presuming we were another foreigner. This is even after taking our passports. When we informed them of this, they lied and gaslighted us and made us feel we were to blame for their mistake. The manager Kamura was just as useless as the receptionist Yuan. They failed to check my name even after I confirmed it twice. When the mistake came to light, she tried to make it my fault. The manager still didn’t apologise even as we were leaving. Absolutely disgusting service. We’ve travelled Japan extensively and this is the first time this kind of rubbish has happened. I’d avoid this hotel, the breakfast was terrible and the staff look as if they’re about to cry. Something seriously with management there I think!

景色が最高でした！ 部屋から浄土ヶ浜から昇る朝日も見られて、贅沢な時間でした。

眺望が素晴らしい ビュッフェの品数が豊富で味も美味しかった。

大浴場にバスタオルが備えてなかった。

We even got a Ocean view room even we didn’t book it and there were several vegetarian options at the breakfast buffet. It was more than beautiful to stay here.

The only thing I would criticise is that the breakfast ends pretty early (9:00). I recommend extending it at least to 9:30

Loved the scenic view out of my room. Loved all the trails that led down to the beach. And I also liked how even though it is tough, it was very interesting to know that most of the staff were trying to communicate in English when we had questions. Even if it was broken.

Toller Blick schon in der Lobby auf die Bucht. Auch von unserem Zimmer hatten wir einen schönen Blick auf die Bucht. Das Zimmer war sehr hübsch. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Essensbuffet zu Abendessen und zum Frühstück war sehr gut. Zum Frühstück sitzt man schön mit Blick nach draußen.

部屋に入った瞬間汗臭かった 部屋風呂のジャワカーテンの下が黒ずんでいて気持ち悪い カーテン開けたら両隣の部屋が見えるので開かられなかった ホテル代は低価格を選んだけど、だからといって部屋が汗臭い事やシャワーカーテンが汚い事はおかしいと思う もう一つ細い事を言うと、シャワーを浴びた後、足拭きは見当たらなかったので、トイレットペーパーを使った

少し古く感じましたがお部屋がすごく良く、アメニティも揃ってました。露天風呂付きでしたがお湯があまりにも熱くてそれだけ残念でした。食事もバイキングですが最高に美味しかったです。

特にありませんが、もう少し安かったらぜひまた行きたいと思いました。

- Spectacular location in the forest overlooking Jodogohama beach ' A lot of extremely nice staff trying to help you - Clean - Limited free shuttle to Miyako station. In the morning at 8:30AM and 9:20AM towards station. In the afternoon from the station towards the hotel at 2:20 pm, 4:00 and 6 pm

- Older, dated hotel - In the middle of nowhere, no stores, restaurants nearby, can be challenging if you don't have your car - Breakfast is from 6:30 to 9:00 am, and dinner starts at 7 pm. No lunch at all, nothing to eat, just some sweets in the gift shop. - Western style rooms have 2 twin beds with extremely firm mattresses. It is like sleeping on yoga mat on the floor. After 30 minutes of sleeping, I woke up in pain. I had to put a double folded blanket from another bed under me. The next day they gave me one more blanket, and told me these are new mattresses. If you have western style rooms  please note that the majority of people there want a bit softer mattresses. - Over a foot high step to go into the bathroom. It's very inconvenient for anyone, especially if you have bad knees. - Though the room is big enough to accommodate more furniture there is no luggage rack, no drawers or shelves, only a very narrow closet with 6 hangers, where I managed to put in my carry on above safe which was on floor level.

Stunning location and views from the hotel. You can hike right down to the iconic beach and viewing spots. Great staff. Excellent buffet. Wonderful indoor/outdoor onsens. Highly recommended!

Our sea view room was nice, the buffet dinner and breakfast were fine, nothing amazing but enjoyable. The Onsen baths were fine, clean but the outdoor area was very small for such a large hotel. The staff tried hard, some very friendly non-Japanese staff who were all very helpful for us tourists. The bear bells available to borrow at reception were a plus!!

The check-in was a bit regimented, take a number, wait over there til we call you, useful when busy no doubt but when just the 2 of us at that time, a more flexible relaxed approach would be nicer. The outdoor onsen bath was too small, the buffet breakfast and dinners were fine, nothing amazing but enjoyable. The hotel trades on it's loction which is great but not sure it is worth the high end price tag for that area.

Location and room layout

This hotel is located in the Jodogahama National Park. From the lobby to the hotel room and the dining room there are awesome views EVERYWHERE! The room we had was small, but okay for us and the onsens were nice. The dinner and breakfast buffets were some of the best we have experienced in our travels of Japan. We were treated to an awabi surprise for dinner on the second night. The attendant said it was a thank you from the hotel for staying two nights. The awabi was very good and we very much appreciate the thoughtful gesture.

There was one staff member in the area where you get ice for your room that was quite snobby, but we didn't let that spoil our nice time in that area.

Le personnel était attentionné, le dîner sous forme de buffet était vraiment délicieux avec beaucoup de choix. Nous avions pris une chambre traditionnelle pour 4 et tout s’est bien passé.

落ち着いた雰囲気とスタッフの方が親切だった。フロント外国人の方でしたが、流暢な日本語で感心しました。

乳幼児に対する対応や、離乳食の常備など素晴らしかった。お風呂用具も用意しており優しいスタッフでした。

トイレの便座が、冷たかった。部屋の空調が、上手くいかず暑すぎた。

なんと言っても部屋からの眺めは最高ですした。夜明けの海の景色を存分に楽しめました。 食事も大変おいしかったです。

館内案内に、日の出の時刻、方角等のお知らせがどこかには書いてあると良いと思います。

The staff is very detailed oriented. I contacted them about shuttle bus by email, the front desk staff actually remember to remind me if I need to confirm. They also remember my bus leaving time when I check out. Amazing Location is one and the only

リアス式海岸の景色がとても良かった。バイキング料理のビーフシチューやお寿司が美味しい、特にステーキが気に入りました。今回は高齢の両親と一緒でしたがスタッフの方が 席位置など配慮してくれて助かりました。

部屋のトイレが暖房無しだったのが残念でした。

朝夕のバイキングが最高でした。既製品よりも手作りの料理が多いと感じた。

子ども用の設備が全く整っていない印象です。ウェルカムベビー認定を取っていないホテルでも、もう少しいいサービスが受けられます。こちらはウェルカムベビー認定取られているのに、このレベルかと驚きました。子供連れの旅行にはオススメできません。

部屋からの眺め、特に、部屋のお風呂から、浄土ヶ浜の景色を見ながら入浴ができたことが最高。夕食も朝食もバイキングではありましたが、大変に質の高いもので、大満足でした。また、電気自動車の充電も宿泊者は無料でできたので、そちらも満足でした。

お部屋でのWiFiがつながりにくかったのが残念です。ロビーや食事場所では大変よくつながったのですが‥。

食事時間終了近くでは お寿司のオーダーするするスタッフがいなくなりがっかりでした その他はまずまず　最後のお客様まできっちりして欲しい

There is no staff in helping us to carry the luggages when we arriving the hotel. And the room cleanliness not that good. I got some bites in the room for just one night stay.

Buffet dinner and breakfast was great. Yukatas are free to wear and enjoy in the hotel. The public baths were a fun experience. Futon beds were a new, fun experience.

Location is a bit obscure, located near Miyako station which is quite far from Sendai.

Absolutely fantastic hotel and staff. Always helpful and dutiful. The bedrooms are also quite spacious and well kept. The buffet was incredible in terms of variety, with excellent locally sourced seafood and options for all tastes.

Hôtel un peu vieillot mais quand même très agréable.

夕食も朝食も美味しい。 ホテル内が落ち着いた雰囲気でよい。 ロケーションもよい。

タオルはお風呂用にバスタオルと洗い用のタオルがあったが、その他洗面にもフェイスタオルがあるとよかったと思う。

夕食が美味しかった。展望は素晴らしい。

大浴場にも食事会場にもずっと下品な話を大声でしている宿泊客がいて、興醒めでした。静かなときであればホテルそのものへの印象も変わったかもしれません。 駅へのシャトルバスを運行してほしかった。
