Das Hotel ist super schön gelegen. Das Personal sehr sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Wir konnten direkt am Hotel parken. Das Zimmer mir Meerblick war traumhaft. Wir würden immer wieder kommen.

Un certain balbutiement au niveau du service, c’est vrai que il y a des problèmes actuellement pour trouver du personnel compétent. Là j’ai l’impression que les gens étaient un petit peu en formation plutôt que confirmé ce qui est un petit peu. Dommage vu le niveau de l’hôtel.

Perfect location - scenic, quiet at night, a minute’s walk to beach and lido, ferry from St Malo moored practically at the door on the high tide, great breakfast.

Fabulous location, staff attentive and helpful. Dining superb. Good sized balcony seaview room - twin beds very comfortable.

Tight toilet facilities & tired dated decor

Superbe vue sur la cale de la vallée et la mer/la Rance. Plaisir d'entendre le bruit agréable des marées au fil de la journée ou de la nuit. Le balcon est un complément appréciable pour humer l'air du jour. Le petit-déjeuner est très copieux et diversifié. Les chiens sont très bien accueillis et pris en charge. Dommage qu'il n'en soit pas autant de la Ville de Dinard qui interdit toutes ses plages aux chiens toute la journée du 15 juin au 15 septembre. La carte du restaurant comporte de petits délices, le poulet de Janzé, le cordon bleu maison et des glaces à tomber sans parler des fruits de mer et des poissons. Le personnel est très professionnel et surtout aux petits soins. Possibilité de rejoindre le centre-ville en quelques minutes à pieds et de prendre également les navettes maritimes.

Il manquait un petit réfrigérateur dans la chambre.

Prachtige locatie aan de baai. Mooi en authentiek boutique hotel. Heerlijk terras voor ontbijt of diner. Zeer gastvrij ook voor gezinnen en (huis)dieren. De Bretonse sfeer proef je aan alles. De kleuren van het interieur zijn prachtig. En alles op loopafstand van de zee, het centrum en natuur. Het personeel, een dikke 10.

the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful from our first meeting to our last : helping with our room and parking our car and their first rate service in the restaurant the front of house reception area and restaurant and seating area at the front of the hotel are wonderful, really impressive and the photos simply do not do it justice... # the view from our third floor room overlooking the beach / harbour area was wonderful

if travelling in the high summer as we have just done, don't be surprised to find that your room may be 'quite warm' albeit helpfully and thoughtfully a large fan had been provided for ours

We really enjoyed our stay at Hôtel de la Vallée! It is a beautiful property and is right next to the water. The staff were lovely and the restaurant was excellent. We would definitely stay here again!

There is very limited parking in Dinard, so I would recommend dropping off your bags at the hotel and then parking in one of the two overnight garages near the train station.

Room was a fairky basuc disabled facility with no view, assumed to be because we had dogs and if was not otherwise going to go used.

The room was small, simple, but serviceable. Great view. Great location. The restaurant was good.

There was no parking, so we had to find paid parking about a 20-minute walk away. The bar shut early evening, so we went elsewhere for a drink.

The position is outstanding. You are right on the quayside and can fall asleep to the sound of the sea

It’s £300 a night for a basic room. Very tired and missing basic amenities like fresh towels (not literally threadbare), no robe, no shampoo or body lotion, tea bags, fridge and 1 small bottle of water for 2 people for 2 days. Just because it’s got a balcony doesn’t mean it shouldn’t have exemption from modern hotel expectations. Also there are only 5 or 6 parking spaces and if you don’t get one, you are on your own. Classic experience at breakfast. We arrived at 9.30 (breakfast closes at 10.00) and weren’t allowed to sit by the window because it was already laid for dinner. It’s got that Fawlty Towers vibe which is quite funny.

L'emplacement est idéal, nous n'avons pas pris la voiture durant le séjour, Saint Malo avec le bateau _bus et puis à pied... Le personnel très accueillant et disponible ! La literie très confortable, la chambre agréable ! Hôtel très calme !

Le seul bémol, c'est l'odeur d'égouts qui remontait dans la salle de bain !! Indépendant de la volonté du personnel bien entendu (peut être lié à la canicule des jours précédents ??). . En tout cas nous y retournerons sans soucis

What a wonderful find this hotel turned out to be! We were sailing from St. Malo back to Portsmouth the next day. Generally, we stay in St. Malo itself overnight in order to get the morning crossing. This time we thought we would stay in Dinard as it's only 20 minutes away from the ferry port. From the moment we arrived, the staff could not do enough to make our stay a pleasant one. The room itself was small but had all the facilities - and a sea view! There was a small blanket and bowl for the dog too! The bed linen smelled so fresh and the bed was super comfy. We enjoyed a glass of wine on the hotel terrace before dinner at their restaurant. The hotel has its own sommelier! The food was so good! My husband chose the oysters for starters and says that they were the best he has ever eaten. He then chose the Aberdeen Angus steak which was cooked to perfection. I opted for the set 3-course menu. All 3 courses were delicious. We will definitely stay at this hotel again. We frequently cross from Portsmouth to St. Malo as we have a house near Bordeaux. I highly recommend this hotel.

Parking was a bit tricky but the hotel receptionist helped a lot. We were able to park just a few metres from the hotel. There are a number of spaces within the hotel itself I believe but it's on a first come first served basis.

Die Lage in der Bucht ist sehr schön. Ganz in der Nähe befindet sich eine Fährverbindung die mehrmals am Tag nach Saint Malo verkehrt. Das Frühstück ist gut und kann auch auf dem Zimmer serviert werden.

Das Abendessen des Hotels hatte keine besondere Qualität. Es machte den Eindruck, als wäre der Hauptgang in der Microwelle aufgewärmt worden. Die Parkplatzsuche am Wochenende ist schwierig. Nur wenige Plätze stellt das Hotel zur Verfügung.

Location was perfect; the hotel is a small family-run establishment and all the better for that; it is very clean; beds are very comfortable and the linen is lovely. Breakfast is very good.

Towels could be better quality but this is a very small point.

Very nice, family operated, cosy hotel. The building is renovated, but still displays the charme of a small hotel. Perfect location close to a tide pool and directly next to the small, quiet harbour with the water bus to St. Malo leaving right there. Nice terasse and restaurant, both in the shadow, so one can enjoy the afternoons and evenings without a sunburn. Very friendly staff. Excellent restaurant.

The location was superb. We parked our car on arrival and did not use it at all on the three days/nights of our stay. A selection of restaurants, shops and the ferry stop across to St Malo were all within very easy walking distance. Our room (the centre one with the balcony on the second floor) was pleasant and had a lovely view. Although it was quite small, because of its positive features we would be very happy to stay there again. The restaurant was excellent.

We realised that parking was at a premium which is why we never moved our car until the time of our departure.

location is perfect, probably the best restaurant in town with a wine list to match

we had a room with a balcony but it was pretty small and you almost had to climb into the loo we also had to ask for clean towels as towel rail / rads were not working, water was not topped up in the room and housekeeping missed dirty cups

Nous suggérons que le créneau du petit-déjeuner soit élargi: actuellement entre huit heures et 10 heures, cela nous semble court pour un établissement de ce standing … surtout un week-end. Il faudrait au moins un petit-déj’ qui dure jusqu’à 10h30. Pour les chambres doubles, il est préférable aussi de choisir une chambre avec un matelas double et non deux matelas rapprochés car c’est moins confortable.

L’emplacement, la vue, l’exposition de la terrasse au soleil! L’accueil était chaleureux. L’endroit est magnifique, l’accès aux promenades incroyables. La navette pour Saint-Malo à 100m Petit déjeuner avec des produits fait maison.

Dommage que le restaurant ferme les lundis et mardis car nous aurions aimé goûter leur cuisine.

The staff at this hotel are amazing and out on their own when it comes to friendlyness and the customer services they provide. The location is superb and we will definately return with friends for sure

There was really very little we didnt like but parking at the hotel was extremely limited but in return you had an amazing view while sitting outside the hotel relaxing. Also when we return we would try to get a room with that view and would be happy to pay more for it.

The location was great between the two areas of Dinard and different beaches. Proximity to boat station was also handy although we unfortunately didn’t have time to sample.

Nothing really ours was a very quick turnaround stay so we were not in hotel much to do more than sleep and have breakfast.
