Quiet, beautiful beach, great food at the restaurant, an incredible Staff.

Only that there was no Aircon in the living area, but I understand why not

Fantastica posizione proprio sulla spiaggia, appartamento Wren, ampio, dotato di tutto il necessario ed anche di più; pulizie fatte abbastanza bene, cambio di biancheria e teli spiaggia buono, inserito in un parco curatissimo, spiaggia poco frequentata, baia tranquilla con molte barche all' ormeggio. Sdraio ed amache sotto le palme impagabili! Se prendete un appartamento, prendetelo a piano terra! Al ricevimento sono sempre state molto disponibili per ogni richiesta.

Letto un po' piccolo ma è un' inezia, ristorante un po' caro con servizio non tanto amichevole.

We absolutely loved our stay at Lance Aux Epines cottages. The two bedroom, two bath cottage was perfect for our family of five. The location on the island was great - close to the airport but in a quiet area on a relatively low-traffic beach. Being steps away from the ocean was a dream with little ones, and my older son loved fishing at the edges of the cove. The staff was incredibly helpful with any needs, in particular when one of my children got sick and we needed recommendations for a local doctor. They also helped make transport to/from the airport seamless. We had a rental car to take us around town on short trips, and took longer visits to other parts of the island also.

There was not much to dislike. If there is anything at all, it is just to note that the main living area is not air conditioned, although the bedrooms are beautifully cooled.

Beautiful quiet beach and calm water for swimming . Plenty of shade to sit and read. The grounds were beautifully kept as well . The apartments were thoughtfully designed and very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen .

The location, the cottage facilities, the spacious rooms, the wildlife and flowers. The restaurant also serves great food and cocktails. Cool air-conditioned bedroom.

The living area could get quite warm with only a fan but encouraged us to go out in the day time, enjoy the beach location. There were slightly limited beach front sunbeds. You have to get taxis everywhere as not really suitable to walk on a main road without paths and very dark after 6pm.

Units are super clean but old. It's on the beach so I understand the higher price, but the facilities are tired.

The location is fabulous, right on a beautiful little beach. It's very quiet but if you don't have a car, there are good restaurants within walking distance and a little supermarket to buy essentials. It's a very safe area and not a problem to walk home in the dark. We walked to local restaurants and back around 9pm without any problem. The resort itself is extremely quiet and has lots of areas for guests to spread out on sunbeams, hammocks etc. Tables and chairs to eat outside too. All the staff are fantastic and any small problems with air con etc are sorted immediately.

Wir waren in der Nebensaison im Lance Aux Epines Cottages. Der gepflegte Garten, wie auch der saubere Strand waren eine Oase, die wir jeden Tag von Neuem genossen haben. Die Bungalows sind gross und aufgrund des Abstands zum nächsten Bungalow ist eine Privatphäre möglich. Beinahe jeden Abend besuchten wir das hausinterne gemütliche Restaurant am Strand. Die Menueauswahl ist vielseitig und das Essen sehr gut. Wunderbar fanden wir auch, dass an der Reception filtriertes Trinkwasser zur Verfügung steht. Damit erspart man viele Petflaschen.

The properly is in a beautiful setting - lovely grounds and the beach is right there. It was very peaceful.

Aircon in the living area would have been nice but given the open nature I understand why it’s not there.

We enjoyed that the property is uniquely located adjacent to beach with a complimentary beach bar and restaurant.

My stay at this cottage in Grenada was absolutely wonderful! The place was cozy, clean, and very well kept, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The view and surroundings made it feel peaceful and relaxing, yet it was still close enough to explore and enjoy the island. The host was warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed, which really made me feel at home. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience—highly recommend to anyone visiting Grenada!

Location was fantastic, we had been sailing for four months so we're wanting a quiet place with good facilities at hand. We had visited the beach many times before and like the aesthetic of the development, not shiny luxury but calm, cool accommodation with an old world feel

We thought we had a bungalow but had an apartment upstairs so no private outdoor space but that did not take away from our experience, we used the common outside area and met other guests which was nice.

Nice beach view and quiet area

We loved our stay at Lance aux Epines. The staff was incredibly gracious and helpful, the adjacent beach was beautiful, and the cottage was wonderfully spacious. We were visiting our daughter at St. George's University, which was a convenient short drive away. Wonderful!

This is by far the best stay I’ve had in my life in a different country. It’s better than most places in the states too. I love the beach which was right outside of my cottage. I love the bar which is right in the beach. Besides that the staff at the cottages topped it off. They were friendly, helpful and informative. I’m going to miss this dream stay. I’d live here if I could

Cottage's interior arrangement and decor really suits the islands - AC in the bedrooms was great - kitchen helped us keep the food bill down (one of the best markets on the island is just down the road about a mile) - bar/restaurant and beach are literally right out your door.

The beach was rather small (1000 ft frontage, maybe?) - but thankfully not crowded.

Simply the best place to stay when visiting Grenada if you want peace, quite, and a good meal.

Absolutely loved our stay at this spacious beachside apartment! The bedroom had an AC, and between that and a fan in the living room, we were able to cool off after sunny beach days. The fully equipped kitchen and cozy living room made us feel right at home. We were greeted with a delicious welcome drink, which was a refreshing start to our vacation. The beach bar not only offered stunning views but also served some of the tastiest food we've had. The staff were friendly, always going the extra mile to ensure our comfort. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway by a serene, calm beach. Five stars all the way!

It was very close to a nice beach and sea. Nice hammocks and sun loungers. Quiet. Clean. I highly recommend. I'll return here for sure.

Perfection!

We had a wonderful time at Lance Aux Epine Cottages! It fast became our home away from home. We felt as though we were in our own little Caribbean beach house complete with the furnishings of a Caribbean home. All of the cottages are literally right on the beach! There is an abundance of windows all around the cottages for great cross ventilation and it also allows for that refreshing Caribbean breeze to permeate the cottage. The cottages are spotless and stocked with everything that you need including an iron, toaster, microwave and of course a fully appointed kitchen for when you don't want to eat out. They offer laundry services, which we did not need to use, but it was great to know that it was there. The staff here is outstanding! They are professional, competent, courteous and kind. The grounds are meticulously maintained and each cottage comes with its own picnic table for dining outdoors, two lounge chairs with cushions and a very appropriate hammock for enjoying the gorgeous views of the water. These cottages are well thought out and offers everything you need to be comfortable away from home. We also had our own free parking spot that was designated for our cottage. The location can't be beat! It is in a very quiet, relaxing neighborhood, away from the main tourist areas, but still just minutes to where ever you would like to go for more action. We rented a car and just about everything we like was within a 10-20 minute drive. The Sand Bar and Grill is a restaurant on the grounds of the cottages and the food is excellent! We had the catch-of-the-day on a few occasions and it was delicious!The staff was also very friendly and professional. This is a destination restaurant for people visiting Grenada, especially St Georges, as we often saw people that were not guests of the cottages enjoying the food. I also love that it is Grenadian owned and excellently operated! We loved it so much that we extended our stay by three more days!

Lovely setting with small beach, beach bar/cafe, and plenty of trees. Cottage was basic but clean, AC in the bedroom. All was good.

A bit further out of town than I realized, with taxi into town pretty expensive.

We loved the location and the quiet of the location. The Sandpiper made the best rum punch, and we tried multiple places. The food was also the best we had on the island. The Grind is a great coffee and pastry shop within a 5 minute walk. The staff was very helpful. We would come back and recommend it to others.

Simply outstanding

Large spacious cottages, we stayed in one with two bedrooms and two bathrooms and a large living room/kitchen. Could fit 6 people in a pinch. Spacious kitchen and fridge, can set up a whole operation there. Walking distance to brewery & bar, bar, restaurants, cafe and mini-market. Great beach and beach bar. Gorgeous lawns with shady trees between cottages and beach. Never feels crowded anywhere on the property. Friendly and efficient staff, very helpful with arranging tours and taxis etc.

No breakfast options except nearby to hotel. Sea weed in the shallow waters of the beach.

Did not have breakfast. Location excellent with beach just there and nearness of dining alternatives and walking options.

Having last dinner booking at 18.45 meant this was a pinch point and on the Saturday service was very slow. The lighting strength in the lounge and dining area was to week to read by.

Very good location for the beach . Staff were ok but not so helpful on check out as no showers if you want to be on the beach before you go. Rooms were nice and cleaning staff fantastic and up beat.

My stay at Lance Aux Epines Cottages was a superb experience, offering excellent value for money. The staff's proactive communication, including detailed check-in instructions sent the day before, and the manager's immediate availability for any concerns, were noteworthy. Each cottage provides designated parking, security, fresh filtered water, and charming touches like fresh flowers. The fully equipped kitchens and living rooms in each room contribute to the overall convenience. The hotel's proximity to the beach, coupled with guidance on transportation to other beaches, adds to its appeal. Additionally, its walking distance from breweries and restaurants enhances accessibility and convenience.

Everyone is friendly and accommodating. We had the Osprey, two bedroom cottage, just a few steps from the Sand Bar and a few steps more to the beach. Small beach compared to Grand Anse but far less crowded. The Sand Bar folks were just as friendly and accommodating, and their food is outstanding.

We loved our stay at Lance Aux Epines cottage ! It was very roomy, with a large kitchen and comfortable bedrooms that had independent AC units. The kitchen was very well equipped and we cooked some meals there... Although it was very tempting to not cook and visit the Sand Bar instead! This cute, family friendly beach restaurant is right by the cottages on the beach, and their food is excellent and very affordable. The entire cottage complex is fun during the day, and quiet at night. We watched many animals right from the living room through a large screened window - birds, lizards, crabs... A small, but very well stocked grocery store is right around the corner, with a cute coffee shop attached to it. More grocery stores are a few minutes away by car or a local bus. All the staff is very friendly and kind. The beach by the cottages is very nice and not steep, so it is great for even very small children. They have kayaks and SUP available, although we never tried them. Snorkeling right on the local beach or nearby Grand Anse beach was so great that it kept us busy. We had a fantastic vacation - thank you ! We hope to come back again, soon.

I have to say we were very nicely surprised, the staff was amazing, from Checking in to leaving Tamika and Taj and everyone was just fantastic. We had a problem and needed some help with some printing end emailing and Taj was just amazing in helping us out. We had several dinners at the Sand Dollar restaurant, the servers and bartenders were very friendly and helpful and the food was good and fresh. We enjoyed it very much and can only highly recommend staying there. plus we had the beach right in front of us, we will definitely be back.

To walk out of one’s cottage to swim every morning was superb.

A week away with a friend, we lounged and read books enjoying the quiet bay. Pristine beach, secluded. Beautiful property. Friendly staff. Very clean stay, had everything we needed to be completely comfortable.

What a great stay! Wonderful location! Friendly service! Very hospitable services in the room! Be prepared with an adapter for American current (in room). Sleep machines or bathroom devices may not have converters in the room so bring them. Otherwise great visit!!

We like simple so if you’re looking for super swanky accommodations, this may not work for you. For example, there’s only AC in the bedroom. for us that’s perfect.

Large spacious cottage on a extensive piece of property with an amazing beach front. Beautiful landscaping with the opportunity to catch shade or sun. Courteous and helpful staff. Quiet and peaceful. Convenient beach bar. Lovely view of the bay with sailboats anchored. Feels like a home away from home.

The staff was very welcoming. They prefer to be contacted through WhatsApp for any questions after office hours and they were prompt to respond. I loved that the cottages are right by the ocean so you can go for a dip anytime.

The water heater runs solar and on cloudy days we would only get cold water. The binder in the room had the location to manually turn the water heater switch on in the kitchen but it was actually outside. You can't miss the big red button to turn it on. Once on, we never had an issue with water temp again.

Your own, gorgeous beach right in front of you every morning. The on-site restaurant is very good. There are 5 or so more within 6 minute walk. Two mini-marts for food, wine, liquor purchases within 12 minute walk. Nice French butcher shop 5 minute walk away for meats, cheese, wines. Hotel staff very friendly and took excellent care of us.

Everything about our stay at Lance aux Épines Cottages was absolutely perfect. The communication before arrival was great and a small issue re: payment was resolved with a minimum of fuss. On arrival at the accomodation we were very happy with the condition of the apartment and that they had taken the time to put all the small touches in our room (ice in the freezer, water in the fridge, etc.) The cottages are huge and very comfortable. There are lots of bugs around but coils are provided to mitigate this as much as possible. The property is very quiet and private and there are lots of amenities to improve your stay. The beautiful beach and waterfront is no more than 50 yards from your door. The Sand Bar and Grill on site does good drinks and really good food, however there are 4 or 5 other good food and drink options within a 10 minute walk. The kitchens in the cottages are also fully stocked which makes preparing your own food very easy as well. All in all it's difficult to think anything other than this is a fantastic place to enjoy your holiday in Grenada.

Excellent, simple cottages on the beach. We love to eat at local restaurants and explore the places we visit. We hate staying within a resort. The l'anse aux epines cottages proved to be an excellent comfortable and clean place with a lovely beach atmosphere. And it is in a convenient place to serve as a base to get outside of the resort!

Beautiful location and very large rooms. The only complaint was that a group of obnoxious children, who arrived on a boat in a dingy on the beach with no adult supervision, were running around the picnic table are of the property even though they were not guests...I approached them to ask them to leave the property after the Chef attempted to get them to quiet down, but they refused...one of the children even urinated on one of the trees next to the picnic area. They were tragically undisciplined American children ages 8-12 and there were no adults anywhere in the vicinity. It is not the fault of the management as it would NEVER occur to someone to have to instruct children to leave the property and I realize that it is a public beach, but there must be some means of preventing them from disturbing guests

The property was very well kept and the staffl extremely friendly and helpful. Cathi-Ann was our waitress at the beach bar and she was awesome. Tim the manager was friendly and informative. It was a great spot as we had a car and it was easy to get to where we wanted to go. The rooms were very clean and the kitchen was great. Had most of the items we required. Even a small cooler which came in handy for the road trips we took. The beach was beautiful and there was lots of people around the beach bar to talk to as it seemed to be the place for the sailing families to come and mingle on land. We enjoyed meeting some very interesting people. I would highly recommend this property for any type of vacation destination. We will hopefully be returning.

It is a nice place. A/C only in the bedroom rest of the place is open air so it can be quite loud. Do be VERY careful with billing, they honored the hotels.com rate but the balance they presented was based on a "standard" rate. So be sure to check your bills

This place is beautiful and peaceful. The staff we reallly friendly and made you feel comfortable. Also the cottage itself was clean and homely.

I loved the simplicity and quiet of this property. The beach is perfect and beautiful.

The staff was extremely accommodating, every day the grounds keepers brought us mangoes, plums and freshly cut coconuts... the house keeper was so kind and sweet, she has worked for the company over 30 years and loves her job, she spoke highly about the owners and her coworkers. The caring and pleasant atmosphere of the workers was a huge contributing factor to our enjoyable stay. The cottage was a few paces from the beach. And the cottage had excellent WiFi. The photos from the site does not do the cottage justice.. I highly recommend staying here. one of my best trips.

It's like having your own cottage here on the beach. It is also minutes from my son's apartment.

Traveling as family of five with three children. Two bedroom cottage. Plumbing issues from day one that were never resolved. Had to move children into the living room to sleep due to flooding of toilets onto bedroom floors.. Management was NO HELP. Very disappointed in lance aux pines cottages and we travel to different islands every year.

The staff was absolutely amazing. The cottage was very clean and spacious. And the location was safe and close to a few restaurants. I even liked the open air breeze in the living area, but loved the ac in the bedrooms. I would definitely recommend if ever in Grenada.

We stayed in the apartments, which come will full kitchen and are very spacious. With a view of the beach & set in lovely tropical grounds, with all amenities, we loved this place.

The accommodation was very well appointed and close to the beach. The rooms were spacious with views across the garden overlooking the beach and the bay. We had use of our own sun loungers and hammock. On request we were provided with buoyancy aids so we could make full use of the canoes, paddle boards and a hobby cat for sailing. Every Sunday the owners of the complex invited us to join them for a BBQ and free rum punch. The BBQ also provided an opportunity to chat with the owners and meet the other guests should you wish to do so.

We stayed for one week in July 2015. When we arrived, it was beyond our expectations. As we entered, we were greeted with a beautiful basket of fruits, coffee, tea... all essentials basics for the week. The cottage was extremely clean and the layout was spacious and quite comfortable. The name of our cottage was called The Sandpiper. The air conditioning was cool and lovely. The kitchen was equipped with everything that one would need, pots, all utilities, microwave. The bathroom ran hot and cold water. Excellent refrigerator and stove. Best part is the each and scenery. The beach was merely 50 feet away from our cottage. Beautiful turquoise beaches. The staff was so friendly. We had a great maid named Josephena. I wanted to tak her with us as she was so sweet and kind. She did our laundry for us. Lance Aux Espines is really the soul and paradise of a cottage. Great place !!!!!!
