Baron Zotel Bangkok

Very quiet and a 4 min walk to public transportation 2 malls and streetfood - and, to us more important a less than 10 minute walk to the excellent Vejthani Hospital. Absolutely clean and quiet : we had a great sleep. 20 min to airport (dependng on trafice..) makes it and uncomplicated stay. ok, it is "far" from the Grand Palace or beaches or nightlife etc. So it depends what you need ... to is it fitted perfectly.

Room is clean Washroom pathetic the water is smelly Bathing area is pathetic actually They provide kettle but do not provide tea and coffee pouches have to buy from 7/11 We asked for the spoon or fork they told it's chargeable Location pretty away from city centre

It’s always a pleasure staying at the Baron Zotel. I hotel is very close to many things. You can walk to the Bang Kapi mall or the marketplace to do some local shopping. The train isn’t far from the hotel so you can easily travel around and throughout Bangkok. There are many places to eat at or to take out food and enjoy eating back at the hotel. The staff at the hotel are the absolute best. If you have any questions just ask the front desk and they will help you out with any questions that you might have. The hotel also has English speaking staff that are located in the lobby area. If you want a nice clean and quiet place to stay, the Baron Zotel is there for you to enjoy your vacation, or for you to take care of your business if you are there for work. Try staying at the Baron Zotel, you will not be disappointed.

Good position for stay but the road to hotel quite far from main road.

Very far from tourist area. Just to get to Center of Bangkok I pay almost 400 baht one way which cost almost the sane as the room. The market here is local so, it is dirty. Traffic here is very bad you can sit in the taxi for hour and the air here is gray. When I come back from to the room from trip my room smell like shi... I think it came from other room. When I call grab many don't want to come in the morning. Sitting waiting for food outside you can smell hotel toilet drain. No restaurant here just a sign. Yoy can buy 10 baht coffee from thw machine. Check google earth of how it look. This is low end Bangkok that what I think.

I needed to obtain 6 nights quickly in Bangkok and close to where I was already saying. This hotel was tucked away off a main route and had good reviews. The room was more than big enough with a very comfortable bed a nice view over the surrounding area of Bang Kapi.

cozy

Good,Cheap and convenience.

The hotel offers excellent value for money with free continental breakfast. Four of us stayed for 2 nights during the Xmas and New Year break. We couldn't be happier with the cost and the location of the hotel. A big local shopping mall was just off the main road. Though the location of the hotel is at the end of an alleyway, the tuk-tuk service was almost at call and we never needed to wait for long. The tuk-tuk boys always greeted us with a big smile whether or not we offered any tip. Well done boys!ill definitely be back!

Basic inexpensive hotel. Weak internet. No electronic locks on room doors.

This trip is the best trip for me and my partner.we are enjoying every minute.we suggested everyone go there and enjoy Bangkok life. This trip a memorable trip for me and my partner. We are very thankful to Bangkok.

The biggest sales point of this hotel for us was the rooftop bar and breakfast, we picked this hotel over a few that had pools for this reason and much to our dismay the rooftop bar has been shut down.. Permanently. The breakfast was also no longer running. The door to our tiny balcony was jammed and couldn't be opened. Our room was tiny, and although the bed was comfortable it didn't make up for the disappointment that was this entire hotel. The staff weren't friendly nor helpful, the air conditioning barely worked and the toilet was so cramped into the bathroom you had to sit on an angle just to use it. Thoroughly disappointed with this stay and wont recommend to anyone. If I could give a lower rating I would.

Rooftop bar is permanently closed, the rooms were small concrete rooms and dirty, there was hair in the bed, we booked 8 nights but after 2 we left out of disgust, to get there you have to walk 15min down a dirty smelly alleyway and they refused to refund any money even though I was very polite. No breakfast.huge list on wall with expensive costs for any small mark on anything from face to all the way to fridge. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Great Place to stay

This hotel is near the Mall Bang - kapi and they have service car(tricycle) to send you from the hotel to main road and you can make a call when you would like to go back 24 Hours. The bed is comfortable and clean . The room has good free- wifi. The first impression for this hotel is a snack and fruit juice that they prepare in the Lobby area for every one who come to their place 24 hours. If you come to bangkok ,this is one of your choice

Hotel staff are very good and friendly, this hotel is not recommended for Indians as no Indian restaurant or indian food is available around. Rooms are bit Small and conjusted. Hotel is bit faraway from central Bangkok city.

A must go if you decidw to stay in the area. Shuttle service is provided to-fro the main road.

Overall everything was good and value for money.

It is quite out of the way location.

Have stayed in this location twice. Have a good review for travellers who just want some quiet time out in the suburbs of Bangkok. A good tok tok free to get you to the end of the street.

Good

QUIET PLACE TO STAY

Everything was good, except for wi-fi in room.

The check-in hours say 24-hour. I arrived late morning but cannot check in until afternoon. However, the staffs were helpful. The room is very good for the price. New and clean. The location is a bit far from The Mall Bang Kapi, but they have a car to drive guests out of the alley. WiFi keeps dropping about every 10 minutes. Do not expect great connection there.

It was pretty good. Close to the shopping centre and the hotel offered a ride to the end of the street

very good,cheap and great place

This hotel is located just over half way down a small Soi (street) but it is a quiet soi and the entrance to the soi is almost directly opposite the Mall Bang Kapi which is a very good local mall. The hotel looks great from the outside and the foyer and reception area are great as well. However, the room we had smelt of stagnant water. Not nice at all. The room was very stark with bare unpainted concrete walls on one part of the room including the shower. No pictures on the wall which may have helped break the starkness. Bed was comfortable and the room was relatively clean. Staff at reception were friendly but not as in the normal Thai style which was initially surprising. In fact, it seemed like the staff, on the whole, were too scared to talk to guests. We later discovered that the majority of the staff are from Cambodia and did not understand any English and only very little Thai. The hotel does provide a on-demand tuk-tuk service to take you to the end of the soi and if you call the hotel they will also come and pick you up. As I mentioned, the entrance to the soi faces across to Mall Bang Kapi and also Tawana markets. To get across to the Mall Bang Kapi do use the foot bridge which you will find through Marks Mall and Happyland. One word of caution for those who choose to stay here or anywhere along Ladprao or Ramkamheng roads, there is major construction of the new Mass Rail system taking place in the centre of both roads. You know what that means, yep have lots and lots and lots of patience as the traffic jams are horrendous. If you are considering going shopping in the city around Terminal 21 and Asoke areas then perhaps taking the canal boats there is a option to consider. We did just that and it is great and reasonably quick. The nearest pier is directly behind the Mall Bangkapi and its Bht17 per adult to travel to Asoke compared to the taxi that currently can set you back Bht 200 or more.

Great peaceful location down a quiet soi and close to bangkapi mall, about half hour boat ferry to Siam.

Good service and value for money. We really enjoyed our stay there, the place is located right opposite a good shopping mall with plenty of street food stalls in the evening.

The Bellman picked my luggage from the taxi even before I stepped out of the car. They kindly gave me the room by noon. Laundry is very reasonable, only 20 baht for my shirt. The little buggy is always ready to take you out to the main road. Only surprise that you need to tell them if you would like to get your room cleaned. I only got my room cleaned once during 4 nights as I dropped off my shirt and they asked me whether I would like my room cleaned. Anyway, not a big deal for me, but if it is for you, just let them know. Overall, it was a great stay, worth the money.

Nice location even it is far from Bangkok but there is some shopping center and maket close by. Breakfast was good. Some bad points: The bath room has small The Wi-Fi is very very week should be improve it. The light in the room are very week, make everyone feel annoying.

We recently visited Bangkok for 2 weeks and spent 8 days in the Baron Zotel. The great location , clean comfortable rooms and the buffet breakfast added to our delightful stay. They attend to every detail of comfort , from the air-conditioned rooms to the lobby with its snacks of cookies and different teas!

Lovely hotel and special thanks Aom, Ta, Fa and Kha for their friendly service:) It’s very convenient and close to Paradise Mall in Bangapi just 450 meters away from the hotel which includes free tuk tuk

Good low budget hotel. The staff is very friendly. The room at all is clean and comfortable. Wi-Fi is a nightmare, really slow and only allow to connect two devices same time. A mall and a lot of street food are offered a few hundred meters away of the hotel. You can use the hotel free tuk-tuk to go to the main street, there you reach everything easy by foot. Roof-top bar was closed all our stay.

Check-in was easy. The breakfast is a good blend of eastern and western styles. Laundry services are fast (strong fragrant which was okay though I prefer no fragrance). All staff members are very nice. Rides to the Main Street via golf cart were nice to have. Room is clean. Shower is hot. Bed is comfortable. Aircon was wonderful. Recommend and would stay here again.

Lite of men matmarknad shopping inom gångavstånd. 10 minuter ned taxi till T-banan in till city.. Stannar här nästa gång ocksp

It's a cheap hotel to stay at for shopping, but tere's not much else to do in Bang Kapi. Ignore the reviews where people are complaining about the hotel being too far from the road because they have 2 electric Tuk Tuks that they shuttle people back and forth from the road. Cleanliness was a minor issue as they apparently don't ever clean under the beds, and the first room they gave us had something nasty under the bed. They've closed the rooftop bar because they're too far back from the road to attract anyone to come to their bar, and they'll never make enough money off of just their guests, duh... it's a shame, but hopefully they'll do something cool with the space like make it an outdoor public space for the guests to hang out. We asked if we could go up there to have a picnic and blow bubbles for our kid, and they said no that it's off limits... to bad

I’ve stayed at this Hotel many times in the last two years. I always stay here because it feels like a home to me. The people who work here are all professionals and take great care of you. The staff go out of their way to make your stay very comfortable and enjoyable. The tuk tuk drivers are there with smiles to pick you up at the Main Street to bring you to the Hotel and drop you off whenever you want to walk into town. The maids are very friendly and do a wonderful job cleaning your room and ensuring you have everything you need in your room. The staff at the front desk are very friendly and helpful, they go out of their way to help you with whatever it is you need. Yuwadee is a absolute sweetheart. A beautiful woman with a pretty smile always helping you with any questions you might have. She has helped me many times, helping me book my room, helping me decide where I should visit and things I should see. She is just a wonderful person to deal with. If you want a clean, affordable place to stay that is quiet and relaxing, this is the place to stay. James Allan Daggers

Hotel is designed beautifully, the room we had was lovely. Nice shower, lovely bed and all seems very new. Located right next to a big shopping mall with lots of places to eat and lots of shops. About 40 minutes from the airport and an hour from central Bangkok. The only thing I would comment on is that you have to place a 500 baht deposit on the room as they charge you if any small stain is found on the bedsheets or pillows etc which was strange. However it was all in all a good stay and I would definitely return for the good price we payed :)

Very good, this time is second time live Baron.

Low price hotel down a dirty alley, but cheap.....but Wi-Fi was worst I’ve ever experienced in hundreds of hotels, no English channels either. good news is your in Thailand and only 4 blocks from a huge mall so if you’re bored and too tired to venture far a field you can people watch, shop there. Free tuk-tuk is probably a necessity as that alley a bit daunting and possibly dangerous.

This hotel is easy access to both airport. Rooms are very clean, good lighting, beds are new and value for money. Near to the mall and tesco as there are alot of street food. Hotel breakfast is also good. Hotel provide tuk tuk to the head of the street which is convenience to the traveler.

Tolles, sauberes Hotel - leider etwas weit weg vom Zentrum.

Middle of no where! And didn't expect to pay a 500 tbh deposit for room key! Was flying home the next day! Had no cash left!!!!

Perfect

การบริการ check in out รงดเร็วดีมาก

The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly at all time. I can recommend this hotel to everyone.

Whilst the staff were lovely, the amenities were not in line with a four star hotel elsewhere. The bed was big and firm, the comforter scratchy and a little irritating. The TV wasn't connected to a power socket on arrival and the lock was basic and a little flimsy. Also a lack of plugs near the bed made the extension provided completely essential. The bathroom had a decent shower, but the shower curtain had lots of mold on it. Also the amenities provided were basic and not in little bottles but rather in a public restroom style dispenser. The air-conditioning was good, the furniture in the room basically non existent. No real fine touches, also our room had unfinished paintwork and a variety of strange holes in the wall. Location was tough to find and access to transit limited. They offer a free shuttle to the end of the road from the lovely doorman which was appreciated as the road was quite long. Breakfast was average, not a great amount of choice here. Everything felt a little basic like a school dinner. Staff were excellent and really saved this review from being overly negative. Very eager to please and attentive whilst being friendly and efficient. Not a terrible experience but missing some elements to get a good rating, I'd suggest finding a hotel closer to a train line as the traffic in the city was horrendous.

It's friendly hotel to stay with a group of 40 people there But don't like the added bed as it was old and hard to sleep .. and not much twin bed room ..

This boutique hotel is closed to The Mall Bangkapi Department Store , Free shuttle Tuk Tuk from Hotel to Department Store 24 hrs. Staff is helpful. I always stay here. If you are shopping lover , stay here. The room is clean and the price is reasonable.

Great service. The stuff are very friendly and keen to help you. We are very happy with our stay

I like the hotel. It is generally good for the price you pay and it has good location ; besides the hotel offers free lift to the nearest mall. It may not match 3.5 star hotel in my country, but I would say it is very good. I would advise the hotel to provide rooms with iron and ironing board, as some people may need to press some clothes urgently sometime, though the hotel offers a good price for laundry. I don't know much about the food as I did not eat in the hotel. The breakfast is good. The staff are very nice. They are also helpful and responsive. However, some don't speak English very well well, but you can generally manage to communicate with them successfully.

Awesome place, great price. Will stay here again, anytime. Nice and clean, friendly staff and a free tuk tuk to the Main Street, which is great if your walking!

Needs Improvements in the Breakfast , more variety of food and services

Booking this place for one night due to cost! the room isn't comfortable, Deposit for the key is more then the room charge!! lol there is nothing good

The hotel is nice. Not fully finished and still under renovation but good for the price. It's down a side alley quite far out but they provide a complementary tuktuk to take you to main road. An issue coming back if you don't have a phone to call the hotel for the return trip.

Very good place to stay. Quite and with free parking. Close to big shopping centre. Recommend

The property was value for money, but it was far from everywhere

We had a nice stay at Baron. The bed was comfy and the shower was good. The only issue was location - it is rather far and a bit tricky to get to from the airport. If you stay here take the 145 bus to and from Hua Mak train station to get into the centre. I thought the free shuttle service on the tuc tuc was a nice touch. The staff were also very nice!

Room size was good and clean. A bit far from main road but have free service to the main road

Nice hotel. Good value for money. Only downside is the clothing cabinet. It is impossible to hang any pants in it nor does it have any shelfs for shirts etc.

OVERALL GOOD, WILL GIVEN A CHANCE WILL STAY AGAIN.

Quiet concrete building, room clean if a bit spartan, but good value for money. Really hard bed, as expected. Great staff. The rooftop bar/dining was really nice with good view of city. Room view was of front alley & residential buildings across street, but having the little balcony was still nice. You can probably find other similarly priced hotels with slightly better ambiance/decor but you didn't come to BKK to sit in a room, after all. I'd stay again but would bring my air bed.

I booked this trip over the phone so to be sure the hotel understood there would be 2 gests staying was looking forward to my room being near the pool ,not to be we had to walk up 3 flights of stairs I suffer with a bad back so that was extremely hard for me asked to change rooms the gentalman said he would do this for us but it did not happen the staff were not friendly nore honest I purposely left my watch in my room when we vacated asked when they checked the room if everything was in order and nothing left behind .there answer was yes everything is ok ? nothing left behind ?no I said realy what about my watch ,I took a photo of it .to here supprise I showed her the pic she was embarrassed . my advice don't stay hear find a better hotel there are pleanty far better and honest Peter.

Very nice hotel, friendly and helpful staff! Just very far from main tourist attractions.

a bit far from main road but there are free tuktuk to main road staff friendly had a pleasant stay.

Nice hotel, just faraway from the city center and in poor neighbourhood.

Good and comfy room. Nice rooftop bar! The free tuktuk service is really good.

Good location on quiet end of the street, nice clean and modern rooms, free local street tax, decent breakfast. Only a few small negatives, lack of English staff and the music from the rooftop bar was loud for my friends staying on the upper floors

Excellent food and drink. The staff were amazing.

Relatively basic but decent place at a central enough location.

The hotel is new located in the Bangkapi area. Short walk 10-15 mins to the big shopping mall in that area - the Mall Bangkapi, and easy to find sth to eat. (food area at Happyland Market, Tesco Lotus.) Overall, the hotel is OK, looks modern and new, you will find all neccesary for staying. The staffs are very nice even they could speak less English, but not big problems. If you want to go to the center of BKK, i.e., Siam, Silom, Asoke (Terminal 21) one solution is that taking a cap to MRT Ladprao (subway), and connect to other destinations (either by MRT or BTS Skytrain) ... WARNING: on Ladprao road the traffick is terrible in the rush hours (7-9 am) and in the evening (5-7 pm) Normally I take a cap $4-5 from the hotel to MRT Ladprao, but sometimes it is double.

everything was very nice for this price , just the room service was terrible ,the burgers and pasta that's 7 eleven standard, no more, quality of the food very poor
