Eldon's Bed & Breakfast

Loved the breakfast which was a wonderful selection of fresh fruits, cheeses, breads, granolas, jams, yogurts, coffee, tea, juice and more - all beautifully presented. Hosts Jemma and Joe were a joy - very friendly, attentive and helpful.

The only negative that I observed was the main floor restroom needed some repairs which appeared to be underway.

Beautiful hotel , run by really lovely people .. Jemma was so kind and passionate about her guests , something you don’t often see .. she went from customer to customer every morning to see how they stay was going and was there anything she could help them with or just to have a friendly chat . The lady who serving breakfast was so sweet and kind , a beautiful start to our day .

Only minor issue was that in the suite the en-suite shower has very little pressure/power. Shower was warm and comfortable but needed more water pressure ideally.

L’accueil des propriétaires et employés était parfait, le lit king size digne d’un palace, le petit déjeuner divin et la connexion wifi parfaite. Merci à vous pour cette belle découverte, à recommander les yeux fermés.

Salle de bain vétuste, mal équipé, petit déjeuner moyen, hôtel fantôme, nous avons vu la gérante à notre arrivée, et juste cette fois ci , surtout ne pas déranger, l impression ressenti, nous avons également attendu des sandwichs comme convenu avant notre depart,tôt, mais il semblerait qu ils aient oublié, tout le monde dormait paisiblement, merci encore à la gérante

La vue mer dans chaque chambre (nous en avions réservé 3), deco tres jolie, les petits déjeuner très copieux et excellents, idéalement situé près du port et dans le centre ville. Parking à proximité pour 2€ la journée. Organisation de la part des hôtes dans la salle de restaurant afin que nous puissions petit déjeuner tous les 6. Accès à un petit jardin bien aménagé.

Very nice B&B at a great spot with amazing views, right within the amazing Connemara landscape of mountains, lakes and bays. Lovely bedroom with all conveniences. Breakfast was great with good coffee, sourdough bread, lovely staff and overall good vibe and friendly helpful managers. Roundstone was so much more then be expected, we had walks great food, swims and a gallery& pottery to visit with again kind and interesting people. Drive to Roundstone and further was just gorgeous!

Nothing really, happy atmosphere with the bank Holliday and people out with the families. There was a cycle race held there aswell so not a dull place at all. Great food at the pub across and other restaurants. Good community vibe, real ireland! 🇮🇪

Loved the staff and breakfast was very good. The location was ideal for traveling to the sites around Roundstone, Connemara National Park, Fjods, falls, Kerrydale Castle, etc.

Internet was a little slow and iffy. Parking could be challenging but a car park for 2 Euros is nearby. And Joe, the owner, is helpful with bags.

People were very friendly and hospitable. Lovely house. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful.

Room was a little on the small side.

Geweldig was het nadat ik kamer met een kingbed had geboekt. Maar nog een deelnemer er bij kreeg en dus liever een twin room wilde hebben. Dat ik zonder extra kosten een extra kamer voor een nacht erbij kreeg. Het ontbijt was uitstekend en goed verzorgd.

Beautiful views quiet and peaceful. Staff extremely friendly and helpful . I liked the independent entry into the b and b whilst knowing the owners were available if we needed anything . Owner sent us an itinerary of activities to do that suited our interests and the weather of that time this was well appreciated.

We had such a wonderful and relaxing stay at Eldon's B&B. Joe and Jemma are excellent hosts; very friendly, great communication and a fountain of knowledge for recommendations around Connemara and Galway. The room was beautiful, very clean, had black out curtains, lovely light, good storage and a very comfortable big bed. As it is right in the middle of the village, the room also has a great view. Breakfast was so lovely. Great vibe in the whole place and the staff are outstanding. Also, it is very close to the stunning beaches, Dogs Bay and Gurteen. Lots of lovely pubs, cafés and places to eat in the evening, right on your doorstep. Highly recommend Eldon's B&B for a relaxing getaway and/or a great base to explore the beauty and magic of Connemara. We look forward to returning again soon.

Die Gastfamilie war wirklich sehr herzlich und immer für einen Plausch zu haben. Es wurde auch super schnell reagiert , wenn es Fragen gab. Das Frühstück war wirklich großartig !!! Und das Bett extrem bequem 😍😍 7 min mit dem Auto zum Dog’s Bay waren natürlich der Hammer

Das Badezimmer ist wirklich in die Jahre gekommen und bräuchte dringend eine Sanierung. Unsere Dusche hatte kaum Wasserdruck und zu Beginn auch kein warmes Wasser. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein, sodass man mit zwei Koffern kaum Platz zum packen hat. Es gab bis auf die 2 Pubs im Örtchen kaum bis gar keine andere Restaurants

Lovely clean and fresh room in the middle of the village. Quiet room. Breakfast was simple but delicious. We loved the welcome in the morning and the amazing staff giving us tips. It felt very genuine and that's not something you come across every day.

I liked everything! We will be back.

It was full of character but not worn out, full of modern comforts but not sterile. We thought we were the only ones there. Whatever way the rooms are laid out, there is great privacy. It feels like being in your own apartment, but then you meet the other guests at breakfast. Would we stay there again? We're only home and we're looking at dates again!

Très belle chambre dans ce grand B&B (ancien hôtel). Accueil parfait par les hôtes et excellent petit déjeuner avec un vrai sens du service. Jemma est son mari sont aux petits soins. L'endroit est magnifique avec vue sur les montage et le petit port de Roundstone. Nous recommandons vivement!

Eldons is a lovely central location in Roundstone . Roundstone is such a lovely location in Galway surrounded by beautiful scenery and fabulous beaches, coastlines, and mountains .. Staff are warm and friendly. As a return visitor and choosing to make eldons part of our honeymoon says a lot about the Eldons, the staff and location. We will be back .

B&B delizioso, molto curato e accogliente situato in un piccolo paesino di pescatori molto caratteristico, direttamente sull'oceano. Le camere sono piccole ma curate e dotate di bollitore, the biscottini e tutto quello che serve La colazione è ottima, ricca e tipicamente irlandese.

Perfect location. Jemma and Joe were brilliant hosts, providing us with superb suggestions for local walks and beaches. The village has great food and bars with a terrific atmosphere. The room was so comfortable and clean. Breakfast was simply delicious.

The BnB is very beatiful and well located in a very charming small village. The staff is very nice. The view is great and the room is lovely and well decorated.

Nobody came to clean the room during our 3 nights stay. For the price I would have expected bed made every day, clean towels and trash empty. Also the breakfast could better. Not a lot of option and everyday the same thing

Nice clean hotel in the heart of the village. Rooms have been nicely refurbished since the last time I stayed there.

As the hotel was staffless, I had no interaction with any staff member for the entirety of my stay. Bathrooms in room were tiny, and the shower was impossible to fit into. The duvet on the bed was way too heavy for the summertime, especially when there was no fan or air-conditioning in the room.

Stunning views and a fabulous location. Eldons is a fabulous bed and breakfast in the heart of Roundstone close to some lovely pubs and restaurants as well a close of some of the most beautiful beaches . The room was spotless and so comfortable. The staff were excellent staff, making us feel right at home , breakfast was fantastic. Thank you Eldons.

Rooms were great! We really liked the porthole in ours! Very quiet little town and neighborhood. Joe and Jemma were great!

Dinner restaurants were limited. The seafood restaurant was not good. The one across the street closed unexpectedly and the last stopped serving food at 7PM.

Very friendly staff. Breakfast was great, especially the fresh fruit and fruit compotes.

Can’t say enough good about Jemma! We naively thought we’d be able to sort out a taxi on the day to a wedding nearby, but Jemma swiftly sorted us out a lift and was so nice about the whole thing! The breakfast was excellent, with delicious options for all tastes in a nice relaxed atmosphere. Bed was huge and very comfortable!
