Très agréable, bien situé
Clean and pleasant room within walking distance to town .
very old
Amazing ❤️
We liked that it was a minute drive from the ferry and had a great hiking trail across the street. We walked into town daily but noticed there was a free shuttle that was also available not far from the hotel on the other side across beside the Boulangeri. We didn't eat at the hotel but noticed they offered coffee, toast and muffins for $5. There were microwaves outside to use and a fridge in our room. The upper floor is better even though there were stairs- no one above making noise.
Overall it was okay.
Friendly staff. Clean. Well located
A lovely hotel within walking distance of restaurants, cafes and shops! They were able to give us a room on the lower level, which was a great help for my travel buddy with mobility issues.
Its safe and less people during.our visits
Rooms are good, brf not the most confortable but ok. Close to the ferry so lots of trafic but more quiet at night.
We stayed 3 nights and the cleaning lady never came to our room. Limited breakfasy -toast, cereals, coffee or tea Noisy because of traffic from ferry
We stayed there for one night and the place crossed my expectations. It was smooth check in-out process.
crosseurs
Very friendly staff. Spoke both French and English The hotel could use some TLC. Rooms needed updating, bathroom missing shower hooks and tile caulk. Breakfast was provided only for one day. Cold eggs, toast, cereal, bananas, coffee. Cost @ 15.00 The other days just toast, cereal and coffee for free. The tables were not cleaned between guests.
We stayed for three nights. Our beds were never made, garbage never emptied and we did not get clean towels. TV didn't work in two rooms, there was mold on the tile and window sill in my bathroom, the cord for the hairdryer mount was cut, and furniture layout was illogical dur to the mobile AC unit. When we arrived, we were told the cook was on vacation so we wouldn't get our complimentary breakfast. When I softly pushed back, they agreed to give us cereal, toast and coffee. They only handed out peanut butter when asked. Every morning I was advised I got the 'last peanut butter' till another guest asked for some. Staff were lovely and the location is great but I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
No issues with the hotel. View of the ferry, i never heard any traffic at night and we slept with the window open. Great lovation. There is a little trail across the street that you can take to get into town.
Old, yucky , noisy, cheap and the worse beds ever. But in a great location and frint desk employee was kind snd helpful
Very old peoperty and over-priced
Low class nothing worked very sparten
The beds and bathrooms were clean. However, the room needed to be wiped for dust throughout all surfaces. More sweeping and mopping around and under beds and behind other furniture. There was no microwave in the room. No kettle to brew water for tea.
The customer service at the desk was short and unprofessional. Did not welcome us to Tadousacc, locked reception door until 4pm when room was ready Room was ok, need a renovation update considering the price it costs to stay there Fan was broken Fridge freezer did not work Was aware of the poor ratings but it was the only motel still available to stay
Beautiful 4 hour hike literally right behind the hotel. Balcony was nice for enjoying my morning coffee while watching for whales. Comfortable, clean and quiet.
Something to sleep while on the road. Nothing more.
Convenient and walkable to the village through the pretty hiking trail across the road. Beds are not particularly comfortable. $15 breakfast in the motel is buffet-style but very poor selection and quality. It would be better to remove breakfast as an option if they continue with this type of buffet.
Very nice
Nice and close to the little village of Tadoussac, good hiking (walkable), and 20 minutes away from kayaking the fjord.
Seems to be family run an the staff are nice. Spent 3 nights an they didn't attend to the room once, which was disappointing. This is right on the road to the ferry so can be loud. Place was lacking overall (screens and windows that didn't close well, portable AC leaked water, shower leaked water and made a mess). Adequate as a place to sleep but I wouldn't be rushing back to spend another night there.
Très bien situé pour le traversier. Chambre très simple et sans air climatisée.
Good location, clean, good staff. Bathroom sink faucet and toilet water pressure very low. Shower pressure very good.
This was a respectable room for 3 persons for one night
Had to buy coffee creamer and sugar from front desk
Front desk staff was excellent. Stayed there for just a night but would definitely come here again.
It was a good stay for one night.
.
The property is quaint. When booking through Expedia this hotel came up as including breakfast. That is why I chose this property. Turns out breakfast costs $13 per person. If you can contact the property owners and rectify this problem so breakfast for 2 is included, I will use Expedia in the future.
Great place!
Good situation, bed comfortable but no air conditionned
Walkable to quayside area. Functional but basic rooms.
I would say convinience was the main thing on the site that attracted us. Very old style motel with little to no improvements. Staff had to be told to quite down as their loud speaking in the adjoing utility room would not cease and the hour was past 9:00 p.m. I would never stay there again and encourage others even if on a budget to search elsewhere.
Nothing
Thats a good place for tourisme time and family time
There was lots of nails in the parking lot. I mentionned it to the lady at reception and she dit not take action to correct the issue. I had to clean the area around my car in order to avoid a blow out. Also, the room was way below our expectation and not quite the pictures shown in advertising. We left othe place and booked into another place. I lost $$$ since we had to pay at time of booking months ago. Never again will i pay for a place in advance. Very disappoi ti g expérience
It was ok for a 1 night stay but would not stay longer. Would be nice if there were coffee makers in room, I have never seen anywhere where the Keurig coffee maker in outside near the main building and they charged you 3$ for a coffee pod.
It is a good place to stay for weekend in a very nice location. There are some hikes close to the place and it is 10min walk from downtown. The staff is kind and friendly.
The location is wonderful. There are lake and ocean views. It is easy access from the ferry and close to the trail walk into town.
cheap clean and cheerful basic accomadation. convenient location. staff was very helpful and courteous.
Friendly staff, great location,
Very basic accommpdation. Very noisy. Do not take a ground floor room. The sound from the suite above is very loud.
The hotel was sub par and the manager was unfriendly. We were surprised that hotels .com even listed this property.
No coffee machine or similar in room. Outdoor coffee machine in common area, extra charge for a coffee. No com0imentary breakfast. Room very basic price made it poor value.
The property is run down. There is no A/C so you have to have the windows open but other patrons are smoking on the balcony. We were on the second storey and the wooden stairs were very shaky. Breakfast wasn't good. Very over priced for what we got. We would not stay there again.
Everything is good 👍
Neat and tidy. Owner is very friendly. Location is convenient for walking around
It was too expensive for the room and the Accomodation. The room was old and not in order.
clean and easy
This is a motel from the 60’s with grout that was black, the floors were slanted and you had to hold the toilet handle down until it had completely flushed. There was a floor model air conditioner and a chair to sit on in the open closet. The stairs to the second level were also crooked with peeling paint. An approximately 10 year old boy showed us to our room and was also the one who checked us out. The bed was comfortable. It was the only room available in town so we had to stay.
The Hotel rooms are nicer than the Motel rooms. Either way, it is basic accomodations but clean, convenient, totally usable
Clean, but a bit noisy at times
Way too expensive for the state of the property. At best, it’s a 2 star motel. Very dated and basic accommodations.
No air conditioning but it was exactly what i thought it would be. It was a place to lay my head. Friendly family who runs the place.
The motel is located directly on the main road to the ferry. Lots of truck traffic.
No A/C and super expensive ! What a scam. This was more expensive than a 4 star hotel in Quebec City…!!!
the room wasn't clean; no garbage trash inside; very noisy if you leave the window open; and no house keeping (cleaning)
Great people.

This property is located right on the highway where the Ferry runs. If you are a sound sleeper than you will be fine, otherwise count on listening to the rumble of transport trucks sitting idle waiting to board the Ferry and or gearing up to climb the hill after they leave the Ferry. The property is in poor shape will limited assess to towels, soap etc. so make sure you have your own supplies.
This property is basic and clean. Walking distance (1km) from the beach area.
Great location and very owners.
Good
There was no coffee pod and store room was closed
Clean
ok
Its old but well maintained. Good people, conveniently located close tonthe Ferry, maybe one of the 1st buildings in Tadoussac.
Parle pas français
No aircon. No kettle/coffee maker so couldn’t make a hot drink to start the day. Breakfast is not worth the additional charge. But the rooms were clean, shower was good. We had two rooms and one didn’t have mozzie screens on the window. Couldn’t really hear the traffic when the windows were shut. Basic hotel.

Friendly staff.
This is an ancient motel and I'm guessing that the current operators bought it not very long ago. It seems like they're fixing it up in stages. I was in room 8 and the floors in the bedroom and bathroom were new, but the bathroom fixtures were like something from the 1960s. There were two windows with screens in the back and no air conditioning. Luckily, the weather was cool and it didn't matter, but this place would be like an oven in the summer. Two windows facing the parking lot did NOT have screens, so there's no cross ventilation. One of the back windows doesn't close, so it'll be interesting in winter. The neighborhood has lots of sand everywhere. It's just the geology of the area. This leads to the next thing: When I pulled back the bedspread, there was sand between it and the sheets. Here's my guess: It's next to impossible to avoid tracking sand into the room on your shoes. Whoever made the bed was an amateur and a slob. While changing the sheets, they tossed the bedspread onto the floor instead of draping it over one of the chairs. What kind of monster does this? Bedding doesn't belong on the floor. The building in the picture is NOT where you'll be staying. Don't be charmed by that picture. There's a separate two story motel building. Go elsewhere until these people get a handle on how to run a business. There's plenty of other lodging in Tadoussac.
Personnel très gentil
It was very noisy, they put a family of 4 people on top of us with yough kids....no coffee machine in the room ? Really! The only good thing about the hotel is the fact that there is lake in the back of the motel. I wouldn't recommend this motel
The rooms are extremely basic, washroom clean but everything outdated. When curtains open cleaning staff walking by. Right by the ferry so noisy. Had kids above us running around at night and early morning. I went upstairs to ask them to be more considerate. Has a continental breakfast but we passed, was empty so can’t imagine any good. Room was so dreary we made sure we did activities so we had to spend as little time as possible in room. Tried to contact another hotel to check out early but wasn’t available. Honestly, just horrid!
Old bed and room. The view was nice but the hotel need a lot of work!!
This motel room was as basic as they come and still call it lodging. Small room, small bed, minimal amenities, no phone to contact reception. TV did not work. It was fairly late when we tried to turn it on so we didn’t get out to the main building to get help. Way over- priced! It was clean- only positive.
room design not good very hard to get to the bathroom if the murphy bed is down
Perfect location!
It was quiet at night inspite of being on the main road near the ferry. The beds were decent and comfortable. The room was poorly cleaned with hair on the bathroom floor etc. the screen on the window was broken and insect entered - we taped it up. There is no A/C. The breakfast was late and very mediocre.
This hotel is very convenient, just a few steps from the ferry. There is some traffic noise from vehicles coming off the ferry through the night, but it was totally fine with the front windows closed and back windows open. Our rooms were clean and well appointed. We had a great stay. Thank you!
Well situated with a view down to the ferry. Property showing it's age somewhat
Great location, staff was friendly, rooms are clean, just needs an upgrade
Only room available, poor for the rate charged
This is a place to sleep. If that is all you want it certainly provides. It was clean neat and tidy, just very outdated. We were at the back so the street wasnt noisy. The owners were very nice. Very close to many shops and the beach and the marina. All within walking distance.
The room was dated and mostly clean with a few missed spots, the motel was quite noisy at night and first thing and the bed wasn’t great. Location is ok for Tadoussac and is better than staying on the other side of the ferry but next time we will be staying at hotel Tadoussac or one of the b&bs further into the town as they’re only slightly more expensive but will be a nicer stay.
