Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt. Die Altstadt und auch der Hafen sind in etwa 5 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Der Pool ist zwar klein, aber völlig ausreichend. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und das Hotel ist auch recht ruhig (nachts), obwohl es direkt an der Straße liegt. Das Frühstücksbuffet war top! Uns hat es super gefallen.

Great central location in Garda. Helpful and friendly staff in all departments, reception, breakfast and cleaners. The breakfast was excellent and has a great variety to choose from.. great value for money and i appreciated the peaceful environment in the mornings. Many hotel guest in other hotels are noisy and chat loudly in the halls in the morning but I did not experience that here.

There was nothing I didn't really like. My room was small but it was a single room so to be expected..it was sufficient for my needs. I would've liked an extra pillow for the bed but I'm sure this would've been provided if I'd asked. The room has a mini fridge which is quite weak for keeping drinks cool.

My partner and I stayed here for 7 nights in August and had a wonderful time. The hotel is spotless, even the pool area, rooms are cleaned daily and fresh linen every 4 days. Staff are helpful and welcoming and can't do enough for you. Breakfast is pastries, fruit, yoghurt, eggs, bacon, hot dog, bread/toast, juices and tea/coffee. It's plenty for what you need of a morning. Everything is constantly topped up and the staff work so hard to keep the area tidy. The room is perfect size for 2 adults. There are electric shutters on the windows to keep the light out, Aircon went down to 21° which was perfect when it was 38° outside. Shower is nice but can notice a drop in water pressure when it's a popular time to shower. The lift is small but adequate for 2 adults and suitcases. The pool looks small but is actually fine for the amount of people who use it. There are never any issues getting sunbeds. The only downside to the pool area is the sun goes behind the building infront by about 3pm so everything is in the shade at that time. The pool has a jacuzzi area (button on the inside of the corner) and it also has a jet coming out of the wall by the shower that you can swim against. You are given a beach bag with one towel per person that you can use for free and they will change the towels on the 4th day. The hotel accepts dogs which I didn't know and they are allowed everywhere in the hotel including the restaurant and pool area, they just aren't allowed in the pool. The hotel is on a busy road (not a main road but it's used frequently) and it can be loud at times. It's also in a built up area and the bins were being emptied at 5am one morning which wasn't great. The hotel is a 2 minute walk away from the main Garda town with beautiful streets and plenty of places to eat. 10 minutes to the "beach" and about 5 minutes to the ferry dock. Overall we loved our stay and would book again if we came back to the area.

Fantastic location only a few minutes away from the lake front, ferries, shops and restaurants. Pool is small but perfect to cool off in, after sightseeing or for a lazy day. Staff are friendly and helpful and breakfast was lovely. We came as a family of four (two teenagers) and it was enjoyed by all. Thank you Hotel Villa Anthea. This was a great introduction to Lake Garda

This one of the best hotels I have stayed at it was extremely clean and every single one of the staff went out of their way to make our stay very very comfortable the breakfast was fantastic. And it made a pleasant change to not be ripped off when you’re having drinks around the pool like some other hotels. The prices were very very competitive. It also ideally placed for the promenade in Garda which took about three or four minutes to walk to. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel andwe will be coming back next year. Also I would like to give a little thanks to radu who was brilliant with his one liners, thanks😁

My family and I stayed at this hotel for two nights after spending two nights at Hotel Centrale further down the street. While this hotel had great facilities, the attitude of several staff members completely ruined our experience. The air conditioning in our room was extremely noisy, making it difficult to sleep. We reported the issue to reception, but the only solution offered was a small electric fan, which is simply not an acceptable substitute for functioning air conditioning. We also noticed that rooms were still available to book during our stay, via booking.com, yet no room change was offered. What was far worse, however, was the behavior of several staff members. My partner politely questioned a warm, runny milkshake and was met with eye-rolling, cold looks, and a dismissive attitude. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, the staff made her feel as though she had done something wrong simply for asking a reasonable question. The same thing happened again at reception when she asked about a beach bag. The two female receptionists ignored her completely, offered no assistance, and showed no interest in helping. An older gentleman eventually stepped in and found the bag, while the two receptionists never acknowledged her or said a single word. There is no excuse for treating paying guests this way. We remained polite and respectful throughout our stay, yet several members of the staff were consistently rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. A hotel can have beautiful rooms and excellent facilities, but if guests are made to feel unwelcome, those things quickly become irrelevant. After spending two nights at Hotel Centrale, the difference in customer service was impossible to ignore. Based on our experience, I would strongly recommend staying there instead of this hotel.

We spent 9 nights at Villa Anthea and I would definitely recommend this family run hotel. Its location is on a quiet road, very near to the waterfront and numerous restaurants/bars/shops of Garda. The hotel owners were so helpful and chatty to their guests. We had an early flight back and we were provided with a lovely bag of sandwiches, cakes, fruit and drinks to take with us when we left. All that we needed in our lovely room was provided by the hotel and the standard of cleanliness was high. It was nice to cool off in the swimming pool after a day of sightseeing, particularly as we had a heatwave throughout our stay. Breakfast was provided at a convenient time and the food was varied and freshly prepared. All in all, a very good choice for accommodation.

Garda is a beautiful town and Villa Anthea is a very well located family run hotel. Staff and owners go out of their way to make it a home from home, very helpful and always with a smile, big shout out to Radu and his sense of humour, he did make us laugh 😁 Room was a bit on the small side but who spends all day in the room, small balcony but able to fit two small chairs on. All areas very clean and nice toiletries and pool bags provided on request. QR code made easy request for snacks and drinks, served to you on the terraces if you wished. Fabulous breakfast, lots of choice, all freshly prepared, homemade cakes too and replenished quickly. Lovely relaxing outside areas to sit and chill and chat to other guests or enjoy the pool as you wish, not noisy and not too busy either to say hotel was fully booked, could always get a sunbed. Had a fabulous stay, would definately recommend Villa Anthea, ( but quietly as it is a hidden gem😁 ) Thanks for help making our stay in Garda a very memorable time we definately be back. Probably slightly more choice for breakfast but that's being very 'picky'.

We stayed at Villa Anthea in the first week of June 26, and it was tremendous. The rooms are slightly smaller than expected, and the balcony hasn't really enough room for two people, but those are the only very minor negatives in an otherwise great stay. Clean, well equipped room, with all you would expect from a modern hotel - WiFi, safe, TV, USB sockets etc. Ultimately, we spent little time there as the pool and outside lounge areas are so lovely just to sit and enjoy the calm atmosphere. The addition of QR codes, where drinks and snacks are delivered to you outside are icing on an already delicious cake. Breakfast leaves nothing wanted for. From fresh fruit to pancakes to pastries to bacon and eggs there is everything you could ask for, and they are constantly refilling the containers which means the food is consistently fresh and hot. The hotel is minutes from the lake, and the wee back streets where there are loads bars and restaurants. Every member of staff we spoke to was pleasant, helpful, and everyone seemed happy to be there, which is a sign of a healthy work environment. Highly recommended...

Vůbec nic negativního mě nenapadá. Jen s ovládáním klimatizace jsem trošku bojoval, ale kdybych se zeptal, určitě by mi obsluha na recepci vše vysvětlila a nemusel bych na to přicházet sám. Takže to je vlastně spíš moje chyba.

A lovely family-run hotel with a real personal touch. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice each morning. The pool isn’t huge, but that’s not really the focus of this type of holiday, so it was perfectly adequate for relaxing and cooling off. The owners were genuinely lovely, friendly, and always happy to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We’d happily stay here again and would definitely recommend it to others.

Sehr zentral gelegen und trotzdem ruhig. Sehr gutes Frühstücksbufet. Geräumige Zimmer. Alles sehr sauber. Super freundliches Personal. Kosteloser Parkplatz für Hotelgäste in ca. 600m Entfernung. Zum Ein- und Auspacken konnte aber problemlos vor dem Hotel geparkt werden. Nur ca. 5 Minuten zu Fuß von der Promenade und den Gässchen mit den vielen kleinen Geschäften und Lokalen entfernt.

Small hotel in close proximity to the center and the lakeshore. Spotlessly clean throughout, and there was a lovely selection of food at breakfast. The room was adequately sized with a nice little balcony. The hotel was quiet and calm which was nice. Easy check in/out. Friendly staff.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Villa Anthea. It is a small hotel but that makes it much more friendly. Having said it is small, it does not lack the facilities of many larger hotels. Our room was very nice & clean with furniture in good condition. The breakfasts were very nice with a good choice of fresh items and an excellent quality coffee machine. The service we received from all staff was efficient and very friendly. The outside space is quite small however is more than adequate for a hotel of this size. We loved sitting on the back terrace after breakfast, on the sunbeds by the pool in the afternoon and in front of the hotel to watch the world go by. The hotel is located within a few minutes walk of the centre of Garda with restaurants and the Lake in easy reach. Overall, Villa Anthea offers a great holiday experience and is excellent value for money. We highly recommend it and look forward to returning

This hotel is great . Perfect location in Garda only a few minutes from the lake itself . Nothing was to much trouble . Staff were amazing and very friendly even helped us getting around the island giving us knowledge on the local transport links , our rooms were cleaned daily and fresh breakfast every morning. This small hotel makes you feel comfortable and welcoming. Maybe I’d of booked a slightly bigger room with a bigger balcony but this wasn’t an issue . Would highly recommend this hotel and will most definitely return .

Sono molto contenta del mio soggiorno lo staff meraviglioso tutto gentilissimo sorridente e devo dire che ti servono in tutto ma proprio con la gioa di poterti aiutare . Ho soggiornato con la mia cagnetta è la prima volta che veramente anche lei è stata coccolata come una vera ospite . Per non parlare della colazione accurata attenta e veramente di tutto i pancake meravigliosi, la frutta tagliata con cura a dadini bravi , pulizia insomma 10 e lode Grazie ha tutto lo staff per averci reso il soggiorno magnifico torneremo sicuramente

My wife and I stayed here in April. The hotel is extremely clean and our room was great and had all the amenities. The staff are absolutely lovely and can’t do enough to help you. It’s perfectly located and only a few minutes walk down to the lake. Breakfast was great too and had everything you need. We would recommend this hotel and would stay again when we return back to Garda.

This was my 3rd visit to the wonderful Hotel Villa Anthea and it didn’t disappoint. It is a fabulous hotel with everything you need and lovely staff. It is in a really good location, the rooms are charming and the pool is an excellent place to chill out after a day of sightseeing.

For a three star hotel, this is an excellent choice. It is close to the beach and to the bus station. The breakfast was pretty good, nothing to complain about. The receptionist was very kind to us, supplying all the information we needed. The room was cleaned every day.

Das Haus ist sehr zentral gelegen, in 3 Gehminuten ist man im Zentrum von Garda! Dennoch aber weit genug von der Gardasse-Straße entfernt um diese nicht zu hören. Sehr netter Empfang, Parken gegen geringe Tagesgebühr in einer (500m entfernten) Tiefgarage möglich. Die Zimmer sowie das Bad sind geräumig, sehr hell und sauber. Das Frühstück bietet genügend Abwechslung, um gut gestärkt in den Tag zu starten! Tolles Preis/Leistungs Verhältnis! Wir kommen wieder :-)

La propietraria mi ha fatto un upgrade di camera senza che io le chiedessi nulla e in più mi ha offerto gratuitamente il posto auto. Struttura pulitissima, ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo, colazione abbondante. Ci tornerò di sicuro. Complimenti!!!!

Das Hotel Villa Anthea ist ein kleines *** Hotel in der Stadt. Man ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß an der Seepromenade mit Restaurants und kleinen Läden. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Es gibt verschiedene Parkmöglichkeiten auch für größere Autos auf einem nahegelegenen Parkplatz (ca. 5 Minuten zu Fuß). Das Zimmer war sehr hell und mit allem was man benötigt ausgestattet (kleiner Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher, bequeme Betten, Bad mit Fön, Klimaanlage...). Alles ist sehr sauber und wird auch täglich gereinigt. Es gibt einen kleinen Pool der ganzjährig geöffnet hat. Dieser ist zwar nicht beheizt, aber wie alles hier sehr sauber. Es gibt Poolhandtücher für den Aufenthalt. Das Frühstück ist perfekt und hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen! Frischer Obstsalat, Brot, Croissants, Ei... wenn etwas fehĺt wird es auf Nachfrage schnell aufgefüllt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Vielen Dank für alles!

Wenn der Pool ein wenig beheizt gewesen wäre, hätten wir ihn sicher mehr genutzt. Die Klimaanlage ist etwas laut. Da es nicht so heiß war haben wir diese einfach abgestellt und das Zimmer gelüftet.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich, die Zimmer schön hell und sauber und das Frühstück hatte alles, was man sich wünscht. Das Hotel liegt ca 5 Gehminuten vom See entfernt. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

This hotel was delightful. Our room was clean bright and spacious, with no noise issues . It is located very close to the shores of Garda and quick walk to shops and restaurants. The staff were available to answer any questions we had-especially about the ferry system. While there we visited San Sirmone, Limone and Malcesine. Hotel Breakfast was delicious. I would give the hotel six stars if I could. I recommend wholeheartedly.

Die Unterkunft liegt nur wenige Schritte vom Zentrum entfernt, ideal, um die Stadt zu erkunden. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders praktisch für Motorradreisende: Es gibt einen Parkplatz direkt an der Unterkunft. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ebenfalls hervorragend, reichhaltig und lecker. Klare Empfehlung!

Wenig Parkplätze am Hotel, aber das Parken an einem öffentlichen Parkplatz in Garda funktioniert genauso gut, das Auto ist vom Hotel registriert und kostet nix.

Stayed for 7 nights at this gorgeous hotel. Staff were absolutely wonderful, very helpful and friendly and extremely patient at my numerous attempts to work coffee machine. Our room 107 was very bright and comfortable. The hotel was spotless our room was cleaned thoroughly every day. Breakfast was superb with everything you needed and constantly topped up. The pool was a welcome area to relax after a morning sightseeing. Definitely will return to this charming hotel

We stayed for 8 nights in a triple type room.yThere were one double bed and a single bed with one side against the wall.The room was fairly compact.The air conditioner was fine during the day,however during the night it did not cool.We complained several times but the problem was not solved. The bed mattress was soft and saging in the middle, which made it uncomfortable. The breakfast was basic with no cooked food like fried eggs.You are not allowed to take any breakfast food items to your room without a charge, which is unusual since we have stayed in several hotels in Italy without this rule. The hotel location is very good since it is situated on a quiet street but only 3 minutes walk to central bus station and the beach areas.

Just returned from a week at the Villa Anthea and the whole stay was fantastic. The staff are the nicest I have experienced in any hotel. The rooms are comfortable with everything you need , breakfast is lovely with a fantastic coffee machine and the pool area is the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring.

This was our first visit to Lake Garda and we couldn’t have picked a better hotel. The location was really good, only a 5 minute walk to the lake front, restaurants and shops. The hotel itself was very quiet and we never heard any other guests walking around or slamming doors, as you do in some hotels. The hotel was extremely clean in all areas. The buffet breakfast was really good and catered for everyone. It was replenished as soon as something was running out, so you never missed out. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We were also given a packed breakfast for our last morning when we had to leave early for our flight. We can’t find any fault with the hotel and would definitely recommend it. Thank you again to the wonderful staff.

As a solo traveller I was allocated a single room which, although small, had everything one needed for a comfortable stay. The small balcony was also very welcome. The cleanliness, service and staff were first class as was the superb breakfast choice. The hotel is a gem in Garda offering all a traveller could require. Overall I had a wonderful holiday. Highly recommended.

We booked this hotel based on trip advisor reviews and we have not been disappointed. Leaving tomorrow after 8 days. The staff from check in have all been so friendly and helpful. Great location and fabulous breakfast. Was my birthday today and left a gift in room. When we come back to Garda we will 💯 stay in this hotel

Wir haben im September mit meinem Mann in diesem Hotel übernachtet. Besonders möchte ich die sehr gute Lage hervorheben: Das Hotel liegt nahe am Stadtzentrum und an der Promenade, und bis zum Busbahnhof sind es nur 10 Minuten – sehr praktisch, um Ausflüge in die Nachbarstädte zu machen. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, es gibt für jeden etwas Passendes. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Zimmer war sauber und gepflegt. Insgesamt ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt!

A small hotel that's minutes from the lake. Helpful and attentive staff. An excellent and varied breakfast, that was constantly topped up. The pool area, with bar service, was perfect to relax in after days out. The rooms are just as they look on their website. Comfy beds. Immaculately clean. Air con and windows that keep out noise. Good value for money. A special mention and thanks to Sara for her help throughout our stay and to the cleaning staff who cleaned the place from top to bottom daily.

Leaving tomorrow after an excellent 2 week stay at this small, well located Hotel, a short walk down to the Lake. All the Staff are very friendly and lovely, they’re a credit to the Hotel. The Hotel is absolutely spotless everywhere. Breakfast was excellent, great choice that is replenished constantly. They’ve got the most amazing coffee machine that once explained to you is by far the best coffee machine we’ve experienced in a Hotel, all Nespresso coffee pods too. We’ve had an excellent stay, thank you to all the staff who’ve worked hard to make it a great holiday!
