If u are travelling with senior citizen, Do not book Budget room w/ private bathroom (non beach front). This was located at the very back ugly building that u can pass local houses. Sorry to say, look like squatter area.Very slippery small dark alley with flooded water. The room was located in 4th floor without elevator. Do not book here it was a nightmare. If u want to changed room in lower floor main building, it has a fee for P1,300 (discounted price) How come to pay extra if same room category of Standard Room no view Main Bldg. Room size 14 sqm with very tiny toilet? I booked this 2pax for 70euro 2nights. Yes it was cheap but so annoying not to put in hotel description no elevator & rooms is in the 4th floor & not advisable for senior As a returning guest I hate to give negative feedback but if you are unhappy you cannot think of the positive side like concierge & some staff are nice & the beachfront rooms are amazing way back years ago, but now you can pay fortune to get for beach view rooms.
The staff are all friendly and helpful! I liked my stay here.
It was right on the ocean which was the main selling point but enough private from beach goers. Walkable to damall area from the beach. Would definitely stay again
I liked that it was very clean, friendly staff, amenities in the room, even the pay items were very reasonable, comfortable bed, sheets, towels, and more. DO NOT RENT A ROOM THAT SAYS "Partial view" of the ocean because that is a total lie!!!! Yeah if you look through an alley way you might see the water if it is high tide. Don't stay on the second floor. The road noise will keep you awake all night.
Nice place to stay at, Beach front with lot's of places nearby. Just a few minutes walk to activity areas.
It's a great location, it will be right in front of the White Beach (Main Beach- Station 1), the view is AMAZING, very accessible to transportation, staff service was great. However there's a few things to mention: during our stay- the third-floor & the building next to the accommodation was under construction. The noise from constructions starts at around 4AM, which we are disturbed. Second, the lock to our room was difficult to figure out at first, make sure to double check that the door is properly locked before going to bed or leaving. It is on the main commercial area, expect that the area will be noisy at night (which we don't mind). Anyways, 8 out 10 experience, thank you for our stay!
Employees are friendly, but they cant suggest or recommend things to do, a good restaurant, events going on, seems like they just guessing. Need instructions how to operate the TV, remote not working really well, hair dyer is on and off. Its warm in the room.
Pool not open
Not to crowded beach!
Everyone was professional
I heard something running inside the wall. The breakfast was not enough. Aside from that the staff are very friendly and attentive. The sea view room was fantastic.
Highly recommended. Perfect place to stay when you’re here in Boracay and affordable too. Staffs are so helpful…
Perfect location to enjoy the beautiful beach. Not a luxury hotel, but large room with great views. Needs some TLC. Stay here if you want a great vacation with Filipino culture and food all around you.
We enjoy our stay close to the beach and Dmall. my kids enjoy the pool. with free filipino breakfast. hotel is clean.
The staffs are very attentive and friendly. The room is great quick tip when going out close your door right a way becuase mosquitoes will get in don't leave it open long enough.Pinoy style breakfast is a plus. Hotel is really close to the beach perfect spot for sunset and picture close to grotto.
Staff Friendly and informative staff Proactive staff Accommodating Impressive.
Could come again
Staff was friendly. Great location. Great value. Clean rooms. Will definitely stay here again
Nice location, friendly staff. Nice pool. Rooms are small
Able to have a room together as family, we were walking distance to the beach with constant access to tricycles with a short ride to town hub.
Very good service! Quiet location but not too far from plenty of restaurants in Station 2.
Very good service , always helpful and happy:) Very near the beach, and the town. Yo can walk to everything ore take a tuk tuk. Would come back and recommend everyone to stay here.
Nearby restaurants were top notch. Kids liked the simple pool. The beach is lovely. Staff was very kind. We were charged for a missing towel that we didn’t take which was annoying but not a financial burden. Makes me think they have issues with theft of towels which is unfortunate. Would return.
close to the beach
Staff accommodation are great, very respectful and respond to question/request immediately.
Staff are Wonderful and Helpful
No elevator
Great stay. Clean and very helpful staff
Friendly staff, very professional.
Looks different than in pictures. Breakfast was small. Only 1 coffee for 1 person(limited).
This Station 1 property was excellent. We mainly stayed here for the convenience and proximity to the beach, restaurants and shopping. This hotel provided this and so much more like 2 hour laundry service, activity booking, a restaurant next to the beautiful beach. The staff was so friendly and helpful. This was a GREAT experience and will return again! Thanks!
Perfect spot
Cleanliness wasn't the best. But good aircon and lighting
It was good
This place is fantastic! Filipino breakfast each morning. WiFi that works! Walking distance to everything, The beach is right across the street. You can use etrik or the Hop On Hop Off buses. You can book water activities through the hotel. We did the Diamond Yacht Cruise one evening that I highly recommend. They offer laundry services which we used twice and clothes came back fresh and folded. I highly recommend!!
The front desk attendant was not friendly and not helpful.poor services.they gave other free sandwiches but not us.
I like the staff
Very close to the beach, yet far enough away from the main noise area of the island. Good breakfast. Amazing staff.
BEACH FRONT AND BREAKFAST. THE STAFF IS VERY ACCOMMODATING. THEY WERE QUICK TO RESPOND TO OUR REQUEST.
It was ok. Just the Typhoon caused brown out and limited generator
Very good! Quiet, foods are good and love the location!
First I’d just like to say the staff at the hotel was great. And the free breakfast was tasty. Now for the cons - not only is this hotel not on the ‘water edge’, as the NAME claims, it’s also not really on the beach, as the Hotels.com PROFILE claims. Booked this hotel because it was listed as ‘on the beach’. I work on Cebu City and need to escape traffic noise for a few days here and there. I wanted the sound of the ocean to relax by after a stressful week at work. Turns Diamond Water Edge lies in the online profiles and then won’t let you cancel when you discover their lie. Their restaurant area, maybe two high end rooms, and small pool are by the beach. The 4-story hotel is in another building and is set back behind a very BUSY, dirty LOUD road that’s under construction, not paved yet. Horns, big trucks, motors revving and Traffic kept me up until 2am and woke me before 7am for 3-days in a row... even with ear plugs. Not cool. The hotel wouldn’t let me cancel or switch rooms to a cheaper non ocean view room, which may have been quieter (tho def still not quiet). So much for a peaceful weekend away from the noise of Cebu City. The traffic noise at this hotel is Much Worse than at my condo in Mabolo. You can pay less $$$ for quieter hotels in Boracay. No sleep = cranky me = ruined break... all because I picked the wrong hotel. I think Diamond may pay fake reviewers to get their high online ratings... they are definitely not 8-stars for any reason, imo.
nice hotel good location
The annex is totally unexpected...have to go to the next buildng where so many bystanders passing by.We requested for an extension the following day to match our flight sched the front desk agreed we even discuss rates and all lo and behold at the last minute they informed us we cant..I have two senior citizens and a kid with me and we have to vacate the room soon. This hotel in Boracay is the most unexpectedly no customer consideration among all ive stayed with.Plus points for the other staff who are so respectful.other than that it sucks
Although during the time we went there, there was road widening (that’s why it was dusty), the hotel itself was nice and clean. Staff were friendly and accommodating. My only issue is that even though we got 2 rooms with the same price, one was much smaller than the other one.
Location was outstanding. Owner on site was fantastic.
it was good
close to the beach but not attentive to guest's needs
The water in the shower goes hot suddenly goes cold then hot again. The parrot in the alley can sometimes be annoying and noisy. Overall, the place was acceptable.
My wife and i stay in diamond edge hotel not a bad place to have decent holiday although breakfast wasn't the best was cold and pretty small overall was cool place and i could recommend to everyone
Did not know what to expect when I booked this hotel. I was presently surprised at the accommodations. Right at the waters edge. Clean and staff was outstanding. Our cleaning staff did an outstanding job very attentive to all our needs. Will stay here again.
Paid for ocean view and got construction view. The hotel is divided into two and very very limited breakfast option. Like 4 types of food option
Great stay with cozy rooms, beach front with great view
Great little place on the sea front. Walking distance from everything and convenient mini stop, seven11 and Andoks chicken directly at the back. The reason I only give 3 stars is that they're currently having renovation work and the constant banging from 7am to 6pm has spoilt our stay. Especially that we wasn't informed when checking in nor anything was done about it when complaints were submitted.
Very comfy stay and very convenient.
The original room that I booked was not available, other than that things were good.
A resort with basic amenities; spacious but faulty balcony door lock - hope that they have fixed this. Extremely helpful and accommodating staff. Great location - great beachfront view and it's just minutes walk away from Station 2 and D'Mall.
