Reviewed Sep 17, 2026I combination of bar/restaurant on the bottom level and the sleeping area on the upper level was interesting and conveneint, they also have ski equipment rentals. The beds were comfortable enough and the decor was good. The staff were also kind and helpful.
I didn't mind, but it was not difficult to hear people downstairs so if it is a busy night it might be difficult for some, however, they do provide free ear plugs.

I stayed there for 5 nights, and I barely slept more than 3 hours a night. People arrived drunk, super noisy in the room at 3 am almost everyday, even the staff came to make a check in at 3 am and spoke super loud in the room while everyone was trying to sleep, I could hear them veyr well even with earplugs. The toilets in the morning were dirty and not flushed. The showers were downstairs at the bar and in front of the smoking room - no intimacy. No slippers in the room, everyone was entering with their dirty and smelly shoes in the room. The bar - which was the only « common space » was extremely expensive ; one glass of plum wine ; 900 Yen In the morning when I was going to the bathroom aorund 8 am, some random drunk old men were sleeping on the floor completely drunk and smelly and making weird noises, it was terrible I could barely enjoy the city because I was so tired and couldn't sleep and had to go to a public bath to have some rest and take a proper shower......

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026・すすきのから徒歩圏内で、近くにコンビニもあり便利な所 ・朝早く出たこともあり、チェックアウトは鍵をボックスに入れるだけで簡単だった(無人) ・今回利用する機会は無かったけど、1Fにあるバーの雰囲気は良さそうだった ・バーの賑やかな音が聞こえるかもと書き込みにもあったが、2人部屋は別な建物だったため、音などは気にならず、ゆっくり眠れた ・部屋は広くなかったけど、スーツケースもギリギリ広げられたし、寝るだけの場所であれば十分だった
・お部屋に冷蔵庫がなかった ・マンションの一室(2F)が部屋になっていたが、エレベーターが使えず、重たいスーツケースを階段で運んだこと

Reviewed Aug 15, 2026The staff and the energy at the bar was superb. Everyone was so nice and welcoming we had a good time and felt safe. I accidentally mixed the dates and we didn’t check out in time, the staff were helpful and patient with my mistake. They were also very kind to receive my mail prior to my stay.
It wasn’t very clean.

Reviewed Aug 14, 2026Proche du centre-ville à pied, proche des arrêts de bus depuis l'aéroport et de la gare routière. Douches très propres. Chambre style japonais confortable pour ceux qui sont habitués aux tatamis. Contrairement à certains commentaires: il n'y a pas d'odeur de cigarette à l'étage. Les fumeurs fument dans la cuisine proche du ventilateur pour éviter les odeurs.
Mur assez fin entre l'étage où se trouve les chambres et le bar au rez-de-chaussée, ce qui peut être assez bruyant en cas d'évènements (ex: finale de coupe du monde).

Reviewed Aug 9, 2026L'hotel està a 5 minuts caminant del metro de la línia blava, i també a 5 minuts de la zona comercial de Susukino. També té un Family Mart a 50 metres, i un lloc per rentar la roba a 100 metres. El personal va ser molt amable en tot moment.
Ens vam allotjar a l'edifici annex de Sappolodge. L'ascensor no funcionava des de feia temps, i les escales eren costarudes. L'entrada a l'edifici i els passadissos feien realment mala olor. També els passadissos eren foscos. En general, l'edifici annex té falta de manteniment i denota una sensació de deixadesa. A l'habitació s'acumulava condensació i generava malestar en entrar per la calor acumulada i la mala olor provinent del lavabo.

SappoLodge Annex has no working elevator when we arrived but the staff carried my 23kilos luggage to my room 301. Very helful staff.

Reviewed May 5, 2026足に障害がある自分でも階段の上り下りができるほど配慮が行き届いていて、もう一度泊まりたくなった。 ただし、次は男性の友人を呼んでお勧めしたい。
バーの音が近くで聞こえるので、耳栓が必要だった。買い忘れた自分が悪い。 質の良い睡眠のためにはアイマスクと耳栓を組合わせで夜は寝るとより快適だ。

Reviewed Apr 6, 2026The room was clean, very close to Hosui Susukino station. The room itself was seconds away from the bar, highly recommend visiting the bar if you have time! Great vibes!
The duvet was thin so I felt it was really cold in the room even with the air con on. We knew beforehand that there wasn’t a lift at the venue and was only there for a night so it was ok but it will be tough for those carrying big luggage.

Reviewed Mar 17, 2026Super cute place, 24F stayed in the mixed dorm and had plenty of privacy, and somewhere to put my things. Nice vibe and lovely little restaurant/cafe/bar downstairs in the evenings. Close to train station/underground. Good toilets and showers, would come back and stay for longer! USB charging ports and mini lights in bed area were great.

Reviewed Mar 16, 2026The place was cosy and the aesthetic was great. Was pretty good location to town, not hard to find. People were absolutely lovely working there.
Walls were super thin, could hear bar until around 3am, though it is a hostel/bar and that is to be expected. The only place you could eat (except for stuff you bought in the bar) was in the kitchen which was also the smoking room for the bar.

まず、受付のスタッフの女性がなれなれしい感じで、第一印象不快でした。ゲストハウスにバカ丁寧な接客は期待していませんが、ガールズバーのノリ？みたいな接客が自分には合いませんでした。 そして週末でハズレの日だったようで、バーの団体客が深夜までうるさかった。 狭いキッチンの換気扇前が喫煙所になっていたので、食事をしている横で入れ替わり立ち替わりタバコを吸いにくる人がいて、臭いし全然落ちついて食事ができなかった しまいには酔っ払い客が床で寝ていて最悪でした。 2日目はバーは1日目ほど騒がしくはありませんでしたが、それでも落ち着ける場所がなくとても残念な滞在でした

Reviewed Mar 1, 2026The facility was very clean and the common area was really cute and had a nice vibe. The staff were friendly, the bunk I stayed in was what I expected and had a privacy curtain that did a decent job keeping out any light, and the bed itself wasn't too uncomfortable. It also felt very safe, I was a solo female traveller and even though the dorm i was in was mixed it felt very safe so I appreciated that. The location was pretty decent, it was a 30 min walk from the train and there were plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. All in all it was a nice, well kept spot for a good price!
The only complaint I have is the noise level, its a hostel so I didn't expect it to be quiet, and there is a lively bar in the common area. I didnt mind the noise at midnight, or 1am or 2am, but at 3am and even into 4am it started to feel a bit excessive. I thought the bar would close at 2am (maybe i misread that somewhere on the booking?), and I was supposed to be up early the next day. So if you plan to stay, definitely bring some sort of ear plugs and dont plan anything early the next morning.

Reviewed Jan 20, 2026Great atmosphere on most nights, just grab a drink from the bar and chat with fellow travelers or locals (prices are reasonable). Location is pretty convenient too, just a few minute walk from the station. You can also just walk to most places around downtown Sapporo (if the weather isn't great you can walk through the underground tunnels)! Beds are also very comfortable!
Hostel is a bit cramped, but it's functional. Also if you don't drink and sleep early, you might not have the best time since people are drinking until 2-3am most nights. Luckily earplugs work well and I was down there making the noise.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026ベッドの空間を思いの外ひろびろと使えました。男性とも共有のシャワールームや洗面台はどうかな？と思っていましたが、歯磨きの時に隣に来られたおじさんが使用後にペーパーで掃除までして戻って行ったのを見て、利用者の助け合いを感じほっこりしました。
女性用の共有ルームにて、夜中２時に入ってきた方がヒールのまま部屋に上がってきた？のか、大きなコツコツ音で何度も室内を行き来。確かに、室内で靴を脱ぐルールなのか分かりにくいかもしれませんが、持ち物にスリッパなどの用意があればありがたいのかも？

The staff are great at cultivating a welcoming and lively atmosphere. I met so many great people there, and it sets a high bar for a hostel experience!
It's a little bit away from the city center, but it's still convenient to subway stops. Ultimately not an issue.

Reviewed Jan 15, 2026The location was really good and I also loved the beds. There was a lot of space and they were also very comfortable. The showers were also good and the hostel was very clean. Also a use thank you for the staff that carried my (very heavy) suitcase up the stairs for me!
Obviously, because it's above a bar it can be noisy around midnight. But they provide free earplugs and I was still able to sleep really well!

Reviewed Jan 5, 2026Propre, l'espace cabine plutot grand et confortable, l'ambiance, la wifi et le bar qui permet de rencontrer facilement des personnes EXTRA 💯 L'emplacement est vraiment idéal aussi dans Sapporo, j'ai pu faire énormément de choses à pieds.
Rien. La seule chose légèrement moins bien est l'espace des douches qui se trouve à mi-étage (pas dérangeant en soi) mais du coup visible par le bar (qui est ouvert uniquement le soir, donc le matin aucun problème). Et il manque une machine à laver MAIS il y a une laverie automatique juste à coté.

Reviewed Jan 1, 2026Charming and sweet place. I was so impressed by the woodwork in this hostel. Imagine the owner is also a carpenter. The first night I stayed in the female dormitory and it was great with that little extra space next to the bed. The mixed dormitory was a bit more tight but also a great care for details. The staff was real sweet.
Be aware that the bar downstairs is smoking allowed and people smoke in the hostel kitchen area. There was no smoke smell in the rooms. The air quality In the mixed dormitory was dense after a fully booked night, but the window was easy to open for a 5 min changing the air.

I wish they can add a locking mechanism for the front door when it’s late at night and no staff is around. Front door is always opened, but Sapporo is very safe and I didn’t feel unsafe at all
