From the first moment when we met Vida homes Driver Mr Junjun. We knew we have booked a great place. We were welcomed at the property with the smiling staff that were super helpful throughout our stay.

The internet speed was slow and was keep dropping off and for half a day there was no internet at all. Also we have booked a Tuk-tuk driver from the reception and he was not at all flexible and we feel like he did not take us to the destination he suppose to. we were told by the lady at the reception that our journey to the market would be about 20 minutes or so but the Tuk-tuk rider took us 10 minutes away and refused to take us to another market further.

Such a beautiful waterfront property. The staff were so welcoming we felt like royalty! They picked us up from the airport. Check straight into our room. We enjoyed eating at the restaurant and snorkeling and diving right off the shore. Filipino hospitality at its best.

The rooms were very spacious! But the staff especially ms Tess and her team were so great! Everyone was so friendly and went above and beyond in the service provided

We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this resort. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The restaurant was excellent, the pool was amazing, and the spa was absolutely fantastic. The staff were very kind, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. The atmosphere of the resort is very peaceful, quiet, and relaxing. There is also a very good fitness gym nearby, which was a great bonus for us. All the trips and activities organized through the hotel went perfectly and were very well arranged. Overall, we had a really great experience and would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Dumaguete/Dauin.

The only small issue was that the hot water heater in one of the bathrooms was not working perfectly, but honestly it was a very minor detail compared to how great everything else was.

Accommodation on high level. Spacious rooms. Good pools for both swimming and recreation. Good restaurant. Excellent diving center and great makro dive spots within 10 minutes by boat

The beach is not really nice - black sand, sometimes big waves

We like the clean green privacy in our 3 bedroom villa 2. With our own pool the kids could play whenever they wanted. The kitchen was good too as we don’t need to eat out all the time. Good for family holiday with kids.

The hot water in the bath was not reliable

The staff are amazing. Our every need was taken care of conveniently through WhatsApp or in person. The resort grounds are meticulously maintained and we had a choice of two pools. The adjoining Sea Explorers dive shop was super convenient.

Beautiful and perfect! Great restaurant at the main resort that we could walk to and invite our local guests. HIGHLY recommend for anyone visiting Dauin.

This hotel s everything we wanted it to be and more! The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I needed something from the pharmacy so they went and bought it for me, they delivered food to us from the restaurant (which is next door), they delivered our final bill and completed check out in our room rather than at reception, they booked a taxi back to the airport, carried all luggage without any requests being made....They were fantastic! The grounds are stunning, lots of green grass and flowers and trees plus multiple pools. Connecting to pura vida next door was also great because that was also a beautiful place, and it had a kids playpark which was a massive bonus! The actual apartment was fantastic, so much space and everything we needed was there. We had a two bed poolside apt and it was really spacious. I'd happily stay here again.

Huge, clean, modern apartments. The grounds are beautiful, and the pool area is fantastic. Restaurant food was good. The staff were helpful and went above and beyond with helping with our ticket arrangements for Siquijor.

We did a tour to Apo Island organised via the hotel and it was horrendous; the worst tour I’ve ever done (I live in the Philippines and travel frequently here). I realise it wasn’t the hotel itself that provided this tour; but it would be great if they could recommend/line up better options. Also, van transfers organised by the hotel (eg to the airport or to the port) are extremely expensive for the Philippines.

The apartment was spacious and homey. The staff were friendly and attentive to our needs, especially the service staff in the restaurant. Very lovely garden with a big swimming pool, the view of the sea from the balcony is quite stunning. I would like to go back and stay for a few more days.

If there is one thing I can add to make the apartment even more liveable, I would add a magnifying mirror for the ladies. A toilet kit complete with dental floss, cotton buds, a box of tissue paper and liquid soap for the sink. An overhead light inside the closets would also be helpful. Other than that, Pura Vida is my favorite place in Dauin.

We liked everything. The staff were friendly, and were always quick to assist us. The breakfast and the menu at the restaurant were very variable. Everywhere we went within their facilities were always clean. We will definitely come back and recommend the place.

We thought the New Year's buffet menu was not toeveryone's taste so found it expensive. We should have ordered from the regular menu instead. Other than that everything is more than we expected.

We rented a private villa for our family’s get together. It was clean and well kept. We had a private pool and it was perfect for us to enjoy the perks of a resort with the privacy we needed as a family.

Clean rooms, nice place and the most we like is the foods, very satisfied.

Loved our two night 2-condo room. It was spacious, modern and comfortable. The stuff are very friendly and accommodating. We would stay here again with the family.

The food and drinks were excellent. I love the view and everything about it!

The beds were not too comfortable. They were too firm. My back was hurting the next day.

Absolutely loved the villa!! Great design and very spacious. The rooms were super comfortable and the 2 bathrooms were both modern and everything worked great. Nice big TVs and good WiFi. We arrived late and Vangeline gave us a lovely welcome... thank you to all of the staff, they were so attentive and a nice breakfast was served at the beachside restaurant next door. Thanks again and we look forward to returning in the future! A first class stay!

The location is unbeatable - by the sea, private villa with private pool, a resort with spa, restaurant and bar next door. The rooms are just the right size, the master bedroom is big and the bathrooms are clean and lovely. The living room is very spacious, the kitchen is fully equipped for cooking. There was free iced tea - delicious! The pool and the outdoor seating is just the right size.

The WiFi wasn't working from the moment we checked in, until 1 hour before we left. We were told that it was being troubledshooted but actually the router just needed a reset, which wasn't done until right before we checked out :( Apparently the staff working the day before wasn't the same or as efficient as the staff the next day. The lights in the pool didn't work and the hot tub jets weren't working. We still had an amazing time though!

very very friendly and helpful reception staff, wonderful team of utterly caring and charming ladies (and gents) at the reception; wonderful room, well furnished, wonderful pool, quiet and relaxing, nice food in the restaurant, great snacks and drinks at the pool bar next door (part of the complex), great diving, wonderful housekeeping team, comfy shop near by, the place made us feel like being at home away from home; we will definitely return! The fact that on check out the girl at reception wouldn’t believe me that I’d only had 3 bottles of water from the minibar. She said this had to be checked first. Which as I told her is frankly rude and disrespectful and distrustful! I told her I’m not a thief and always pay for what I use and never steal. Then after the mini bar was checked she kept giving me various amounts that I had to pay. I kept telling her I just want to know what I owe in total. She even tried to charge me for the overnight stay that I’d already paid in full on check in. Due to this untrusting nature it actually spoiled our stay and even though it’s a beautiful place we won’t be staying here again.

Modern villa with beautiful pool overlooking ocean. Very clean and spacious. Nice restaurant. 10/10 service. Family and children loved it and felt very comfortable here. The manager Tess was excellent at facilitating our departure home.

Fantastic place wirh extremely familiarly feeling. Tess with team are really doing a great job. Kudos to Tess, Marilyn, Cherlyn and all other. We definitely come back.

It was an amazing 3 days with my family. The Villa we stayed in was very nice with 2 rooms and a separate living and dining and it’s own kitchen. Unit was very clean and comfortable with everything you need. Would stay here again in the future.

位置有点偏，如果住在vida的话最好就在旁边pura vida潜店潜水，酒店的环境还可以，就是没有餐厅，要和旁边的pura vida一起用，另外健身房关门太早了，晚上7点就关门了。

The setting was wonderful room and grounds excellnt shape and beatiful.

It was a beautiful tropical paradise half hours drive from dumagute with pools and beach, tasty food.

The billing process is confusing. The desk insisted that I sign the virtual credit card slip from Expedia. At the same time it appeared that I was being charged the expedia fee as a pass through.

Vida Homes is modern, beautifully maintained condos mere steps away from immaculate grounds and swimming pools (yes pools plural). The staff were very friendly and helpful, and made us feel valued and welcomed from the first day. We had trouble with our luggage (a day late due to issues with a late United flight in the US), and they, together with Philippine Airlines, handled the issue for us; our luggage magically appeared at the resort only a day late with no effort on our part! The morning breakfast was great and became a fixture. The dive shop is staffed with exceptionally qualified and friendly instuctors and we have been transformed into enthusiasts; can't wait to get back and get diving again. I honestly cannot imagine anything being done better!

This is my second stay in four months, and tried both one and two bedroom apartment. I preferred one bedroom as its near the beach and with larger balcony. Overall hardware is really great and new and absolutely great for anyone who can afford it. The only thing that is not satisfied is the staff will be off from work at 9pm and also no phone is available, therefore whenever you need something, you need to go out and find the staff. However, th hotel manager Oliver is really nice and asked for my advice and they will definitely improve as such. Moreover my wife left a scarf in the room and they helped mailed me back which I'm very thankful to them. It's quite expensive but it worths if you can afford.
