Manhattan Avenue Hotel

The room was very dirty at my arrival and hotel wasn't comprehensive about the situation. There was no service and no one came to clean the room. There was no compensation given. It was over 100$ per night and there was no service at all. There were used cups and botteled water, towels everywhere and the bed was a mess. Complete disaster

Rooms and carpets were unhygienic

Very Very Rude Staff & Club Management I Ordered Alcohol Free Cocktail & They Force You To Keep Ordering Or They Kick You Out & Shout On You So I Had To Call Police To Solve The Problem & Also The Club Management Will Block You It's Really Very Low Quality Place To Go To . Please Avoid It For Your Self Own Respect . الموظفين والإدارة يغصبوك تظل تطلب انا ما اشرب كحول ولما الكوكتيل بدون كحول يخلص لو ما طلبت يطرودونى ويعلون صوتهم عليا قدام الناس فا اظطريت أطلب الشرطة . Очень, очень грубый персонал и руководство клуба. Я заказал безалкогольный коктейль, и они заставляют вас соблюдать порядок или выгоняют вас. Мне пришлось позвонить в полицию, чтобы решить проблему.

Hotel situated in Bur Dubai , 15 minutes walk from Al Fahidi metro station , no attractions nearby , Housekeeping NOT @ the best level , staff are NOT helpful , Hotel needs renovation , bar @ Ground floor , not comfortable for families

It was just fine to catch up a 6-7 hour sleep a business meeting next morning. I would not recommend people specially families to go their with kids. The rooms in the pictures and the rooms in real are totally different.

Good compared to the given room rate, request stay in upper floors if you don't like the noise

Not allowed to check in before 2 pm and it wasted my money

I made the booking with agoda but unfortunately i wasn't able check in the hotel i tried with agoda to cancel the booking or either change the dates of the booking but hotel has rejected to pay the money back because i already charged with my card , as per agoda it is only in the hands of hotel but they are not ready to pay the money back and show me as no shown at the property it shouldn't be like this they have to returned the money back or amend the dates i am very disappointed i suggest you to do not make the booking with manhatan.

Very bad service! Sandeep was very rude for me. He just forced me to move from my table. Actually I have a right to sit one table If I'm consuming from the bar. Unfortunately they don't respect the guest who come to enjoy very bad experience. I would like to reccomend change the stuff. Who doesn't know exactly who doesn't know working with guest.

I have stayed for just 1 night, will never check in there again, my room was full of cockroaches and all over cigarette smell, loud music is played during night, not good for family, since they have many club in the hotel....overall a bad experience I would rate this as average 1star hotel

It was first time to this hotel. It looks very nice from outside but inside is contrast. Rooms are big but does not give comfort because of noise AC, slowest wi-fi connection . Although maintenance manager very nice person and tried to solve the matter. Hotel need revamp overall

staff at night no one is wearing name batch and talking so rudley to the customers...pointing fingers on their face..the management should teach them what hospitality means for...even in reception the staff are not wearing name batch and they were very rude..never go back again and i suggest to all others also the same..poor service and no hospitality..awful experience..

Stayed with friends the are many BARs available in this Hotel including Picup. Booked hotel thru" online three rooms, receptionist allotted rooms in 5th Floor. since it was on weekend tariff were quiet high though we booked, But Rooms are very old type and pattern, Noyce window AC without adjustment, curtained bath area in toilet, very old and dirty closet. very small bathroom. This hotel is meant for for some extramarital activity who can't hold for long.... ()()()()()()() not for comfortable stay. Very bad in cleanness. Staff are good receptionist has hospitality.

Dåligt hotell med extremt otrevlig personal. Jag åkte dit med min pojkvän och dom sa inte ens hej till mig vid ankomst. Väldigt otrevliga mot kvinnor. Det fanns även en mystisk strippklubb på hotellet som dom ville att min kille skulle gå in på. BOKA EJ DETTA HOTELL!!!!

Hai I am frequent traveler to Dubai and stayed many hotels and as per my experience this hotel is quite good with affordable price. stay on the first floor will make us horrible because the sound from the night clubs. Restaurant and bar are quite good .Overall I stayed this hotel several time and liked this property

Not bad to stay in Manhattan for one day not mirth an that because rooms are designed old style, it doesn't have natural sunlight always dark, good thing is balcony you can have nice sunlight but there is no chair or tables. Overall ok for one day

A cool place to hang out have some drinks and play pool, nice ambience, service and food Selection of beverages is also large and prices are reasonable Staff is very cooperative and professional Our group with colleagues from China had a wonderful time Have a blast at Mixxology

The Manhatten Hotel is not exactly the most famous hotel in Dubai but it's a good budget hotel for those of us who can't afford 5 star luxury hotels & apartments. It was clean and rooms were decent size with good facilities. The location was excellent.

Great location but rooms are not that great as per current standard of rooms and rates charged by them. Furniture in room seems quite old and air conditioning made quite a noise. Good option of restaurants. I just stayed for a night so cannot much comment on service.

Its a great place specially for indians and nearby nationals. Its a complete hotel with all amenities. Amazing location nearby to all major places. And amazing indian food. Overall I would like to give very high ratings. Neat and clean rooms with supereb customer service

U2Pura is really a great time to relax the outside bar it's great place for drinks n food SAIDUL really looked after me n my friend very well and bought us wotever we needed gave us wonderful suggestions about about food Thanks a lot worth Visiting Thanks for the care once again

i visited Dubai last year for a business trip and booked this hotel online in advance, while booking my only criteria was price, and even ignored the regular hotel we stay in Dubai, for a change. i definitely liked the rates but overall looking at the service, staff, location & hygiene it is an average hotel. hotel has a disco bar in the ground floor which is quite happening during night.

Pretty good and a clean hotel, very efficient room service. Located nearby good areas. Pretty simple movement from the hotel, you'll get a cab easily. Very courteous staff, they will help you and serve you well. Great breakfast options bundled with the room. Stayed there for 3 nights.

It was a getaway and I enjoyed it.

Services, location and housekeeping is good. However the rooms lack basic things like iron / stand and coffee maker etc. the hotel is Indo-centric therefore everything is only Indian style if you choose.

Stayed at this hotel in january during the dubai shopping festival and new year.the prices of other hotels in dubai were sky rocketting this time and manhattan offered a decent price for deluxe suite rooms.the room was spacious and bed was good quality.I wouldnt say that the room was spotlessly clean but was not very bad for me .bathroom a bit dated. room service was prompt.we requested another bed and that was provided. Two or three Night clubs on the lower levels but did not bother us really,considering we were out most of the time.did not try the restaurant at the premises.reception quick and efficient.

I stayed at the Manhattan and what can I say? The hotel rooms are very outdated, I was put in a smoking room I asked to be moved several times and never was. The room stank of cigarettes for a non-smoker that was horrible so I had to leave the window open to refresh the air. Quilt cover had a yellow stain in the corner that looked like someone took a yellow highlighter and coloured a big pattern on it (surely that should have been treated or thrown away not put on a guests bed). The base valance was dirty with stains along the bottom (see pics) obviously NEVER changed. Curtains at the window were really dirty on the bottom, looked disgusting. Cigarette burns on the carpet urrrrgh disgusting. No kettle or tea and coffee facilities in the room. Furniture was old and needed updating badly!! Bathroom: Shower was lovely, but the bath was really old needed to be replaced, had scratches, cracks and marks that didn't come off I had to wash the bath out before showering as it looked dirty. The hand towel rail over the toilet kept falling down each time you used the towel really irritating!! All the rails were really DUSTY including where the bath towels were. I had to take them down and wipe the rails off!!! The toilet didn't flush properly, you had to press it a few times to get it to work. Staff were noisy all day up and down the corridor loud talking and banging. Very Loud Christmas music playing in the corridors until 3am/4am in the morning and ALL DAY!!! What about those passengers who have just arrived and need sleep!!! The music should have been MUCH lower. Music from the several in house bars could be heard from your room a little but not too much depending on where you were. Windows were not double-glazed so you could hear noise from the traffic and cars all the beeping and other noise even with the window closed. The bars there allow smoking which was horrible for non-smokers who are not used to that so we avoided the bars, The Coffee Lounge was nice and quiet so no smoke in there. Good points: Shower was nice, bed was very comfortable. The Porter was very polite and helpful. Restaurant and coffee lounge staff were friendly and helpful. Good Free WIFI in the coffee lounge. Overall it was a horrible short stay. I wouldn't recommend it and I would never return there. Things in the room were either dirty, broken or both, disappointing.

Local guest by the name Mubarak slaped lady in the bar mile high after confrontation. I thought that in dubai ladies are safe to go and have a drink. Even after the police were called nothing happened because this guy was local and the lady was blamed for being slaped by this local guy Mubarak. All management (Raffiq) and staff ( Jhun) blamed the lady for being slapped by a local guy.I THOUGHT DUBAI WAS SAFE for foreigners, however police only care about locals. Even the police in this country are racist towards other nationalise and if a foreigner did the same they would go to jail.
