A highly‑cost‑effective Tuscan holiday estate! The countryside rooms are spacious. They are close to the infinity pool and tennis court, and there is a separate breakfast restaurant. All ingredients on the estate are home‑grown. Though the breakfast selection is not extensive, everything is healthy and exquisitely prepared. We dined at two restaurants: Farmer’s Night at Pomario and Osteria. Both offer great value for money. Hope to be back again. Highly recommended!

Great location in a very picturesque village, staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant in particular was wonderful. The location's own wine was stellar as well.

The concept of this place is absolutely incredible. Farm to table experience in the restaurants and the personnel is super friendly with personal approach.

You can’t literally tell where you are going from the photos in Booking (it exceeds the expectations). Also, their site is really hard to navigate.

A beautiful, relaxing stay in the heart of Tuscany. Perfect honeymoon. The domain is huge, the rooms are big and well equipped, there are many activities and 3 restaurants. It's very authentic and a perfect getaway especially when you live in a busy city. I would recommend to stay in the countryside area like we did, more relaxing and the pool area is nicer. Staff was great.

Nothing. Some people should educate their kids better, especially at the pool area but that's not the hotel's responsibility.

Absolutely stunning and pristine location with great facilities. Food was excellent at all the restaurants. Staff very friendly. Only negative is it took a while to get in between locations as the buggy’s they provide are always late.

Il Borro is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views and a charming medieval village atmosphere. We appreciated the honeymoon welcome gift of wine in our room, loved the private horseback tour of the estate, and enjoyed the winery tour and wine & cheese pairings. The breakfast buffet was also excellent. Unfortunately, the service did not match the property’s air of luxury. The spa was unresponsive despite multiple attempts to book treatments, shuttle service was inconsistent, lunch took over 90 minutes to arrive, and my husband’s dinner entrée of white fish was initially served raw and then returned overcooked. Staff offered small bill credits and were apologetic, but these issues were tough to overlook. We left feeling that the property itself is breathtaking, but the service and experience fell short of expectations. While we had hoped to return for the horses, wine, and scenery, the overall experience didn’t justify the cost of our time or the money we spent.

We have just returned from an unforgettable stay at Il Borro Resort, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The estate is absolutely vast and breathtakingly beautiful, surrounded by lush green vegetation and offering stunning panoramic views over the Pianura di Valdarno. We stayed in Il Borgo, a charming small medieval village within the estate, made up of restored country houses that have been thoughtfully converted into luxury suites. Our suite was wonderfully spacious, with a generously sized bathroom stocked with a wide range of premium amenities. The bed was supremely comfortable — exactly what you want after a day of exploring. A special mention goes to the Ferragamo bath products, presented in large refillable bottles rather than small plastic ones. As someone who finds single-use plastic miniatures a real pet hate, this thoughtful, sustainable touch was very much appreciated. I would like to commend the entire team at Il Borro. Every member of staff we encountered was knowledgeable, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. Their warmth and professionalism made our stay truly memorable. We dined at the resort throughout our stay, and the restaurants consistently delivered a truly delicious menu, showcasing the best of Tuscan cuisine with elegance and care. The pools, spa, and horse stables were all immaculately maintained — a testament to the high standards upheld across the entire estate. If you are looking to recharge, dine exceptionally well, and immerse yourself in one of the most beautiful corners of Tuscany, Il Borro Resort is an outstanding choice. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a luxurious yet authentic countryside retreat.

Pois eles encontraram a mochila e mandaram para mim no aeroporto. Nenhum outro hotel faz isso. Amamos os quartos maravilhosos numa vila centenária transformada em um hotel. Our stay in Il Borro was an absolute disappointment - we hoped for a relaxing couple of days but ended at a noisy place with no privacy at all. The biggest part of the property is situated in a so called medieval village which has an interesting concept before you realise that your room is in the middle of a touristic attraction and a place for people from the villages nearby to come for a walk. That means it is noisy all day long and you just wonder how you ended up there. That was not mentioned during our booking and I can hardly imagine we were the first to experience that bizarre situation. That was not at all a 5 star accommodation. The staff are not engaged and many of them hardly spoke English. Absolute lack of organisation and no feeling of being at a secure place. The location is also remote at the very eastern part of Tuscany, the inly place which is less than an hour drive is Arezzo. It was a very disappointing experience for us and could not at all recommend the place.

My family and I just returned from a magical stay at Il Borro, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The property itself was spectacular, and our time in the medieval village was unlike any experience I've had. The culinary program was astonishing, the wine tour was among the most unique I've ever seen, the service was outstanding, the grounds were superior to any I've seen (even in very early Spring), and the commitment to sustainability is wholly impressive. The views, people, and special place that make up Il Borro are incredible. We cannot wait to come back.

Il massaggio alla spa è stato superlativo. La massaggiatrice Elisa è molto capace e attenta.

Tutti gentilissimi e veloci, il borgo offre anche passeggiate a cavallo che si presumono spettacolari considerato il paesaggio. Peccato non aver pensato ad un set di stivali (economici) per gli ospiti che non ne hanno, come accade in molte altre strutture. La differenza per un soggiorno da sogno è sempre nei dettagli.

因為到達的日期應該是淡季 住客不多 但是 這是一個非常特別的體驗，好像住在13世紀的一個房子裡面，但是有一個完整的服務團隊可以為我們服務，所以感到很放心。 Osteria 的晚餐 非常超值，開放式廚房 可以看到 主廚用心的準備我們的餐點，這是一個完美的體驗!

服務人員算是積極 不過似乎有許多新進人員 可能應對的方式 還需要再多教育。 甚至有需工作人員 路上遇到客人 沒有打招呼 這樣的飯店 有這樣的員工 有點可惜

Disponibilità dello staff che dopo un piccolo equivoco hanno saputo risolvere la problematica subito. Tutto stupendo, colazione ottima, sembra di fare un tuffo nel passato medievale con le comodità del presente. Ottima la visita alla cantina e la degustazione

Amazing location very quiet and authentic simple but luxury in the same time

We stayed at Il Borro in October and had three rooms in the Medieval Village. While two of the rooms were spacious and lovely, one was unfortunately quite disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the service set the tone. The receptionist was cold and unfriendly, which surprised us at this level of hotel. When we asked about dinner, we immediately discovered that all the restaurants were either fully booked or only had very late seating available. For our entire stay, the only place we could dine was the pizzeria. The pizza itself was good, but the other dishes were disappointing and felt low-quality for such a renowned property. The spa was another letdown. For a hotel of this category, we expected a serene and luxurious environment, but it fell short. There wasn’t even a comfortable area to simply relax and unwind. On our first morning, two workers were loudly talking and fixing something right outside our room at 7:00 AM. The walls are thin and the soundproofing is very weak, so it was impossible to sleep through the noise. It’s truly unfortunate that such a stunning place suffers from inconsistent service and quality. At this point, I’m not sure I would return or recommend Il Borro, despite its beautiful setting.

Somobody From the service entered our room 8pm while i was taking a shower. Knocked on the door and after no response entered, which was akward. Prices of the activities and experiences are a bit exagerated
