The hospitality and comfort was the best in China for me. The reception and staff are incredibly responsive! The location was also good. There is a supermarket near the hotel.

The location, overlooking the lake, was spectacular. the room was very spacious and quiet. The facilities were excellent. The choices at breakfast were incredible. Even the Western-style food was top-notch, although I stuck with the local food. When in Rome... or indeed China… The staff were all very polite, attentive and efficient. Can’t fault it.

Finding the ideal luxury hotel in Yangjiang is simple. Hualuxe Hotels A large hotel with spacious and clean rooms, located on the outskirts of the city, so the rooms are quite quiet, good breakfast, Wi-Fi, free use of the pool, sports fields, beautiful views of the lake. Nearby there are several small shops, local cafes and restaurants, 7-Eleven, a shopping center and a massage room. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the intercity bus station. By taxi, you can reach the sea in an hour. Friendly and welcoming staff. The hotel staff speaks some English badly but somehow they make themselves understood. Rooms are equipped with minibar and air conditioning. The bathroom is very large and offers a shower and a bathtub. Guests also have a swimming pool and restaurant for lunch and dinner during their stay. Hearty breakfast with a variety of sweet and savory. Hotel usually livelier towards the weekend. A few steps away offers a music club to be able to spend an alternative weekend. During your visit, you should not miss Mandarin Duck Lake Park (0.6 km), a famous attraction within walking distance of the hotel and within easy reach of XinHua BeiLu BuXingJie (3.1 km) and Shijue Temple (3.7 km). ).

The Hualuxe is part of IHG, and as a member you can enjoy the full IHG benefits. the location is nice, next to a lake. Although the name appears Chinese, it's an international hotel with everything you expect. Modern in style, nice, big rooms, good breakfast with an abundance of choices. The value is excellent for international standard. Just not so happy with the Chinese restaurant, which was one of the worst I've been during this trip. Maybe it's because we were arrived for dinner a little late.

I stay here whenever I come to visit the Factory where we manufacture our products. It is a nice place with clean rooms and good service. It is the best Western style hotel in Yangjiang as of 2019.

I stayed at this hotel several times. This hotel is nice and convenient. Almost everything is consistently good, especially for service from front line staff. Icey and Serefina are helpful. I do appreciate their help. But please, give me something new for breakfast.

This is a hotel with alot to offer, visiting for work and not the first time we this hotel. Fully equipped with all the benefits and all facilities which can make you feel appreciated. Fantastic restaurants, a good size swimming pool and good fitness centre. The rooms have all the comfort you need.

It was an excellent experience with this hotel. Staff member were very friendly and helpful especially Steve he is a very friend staff and have excellent English communication skill. Overall environment of the hotel is very high class and the room are clean and comfortable. Food option are very nice as well. Highly recommend.

HUALUXE YangJiang is the best hotel I have ever stayed in China. The staff is extremely helpful and kind. Sometimes they might not fully understand what I needed due to language barrier. However, they still tried their best to provide the excellent service. Lastly, thanks for the assistance from manager Charles and Simon during my stay!

Very nice, but AC didn't work and that was a drag. only a little employees spoke English, wich is very disappointing considering is "the best2 hotel in YangJiang

The hotel is right in the midst of the city center. Perfectly located. Check in was absolutely smooth and the rooms are brilliant. Spacious, well decorated, very well maintained. Large spread of breakfast is served in the breakfast room. I would definitely recommend this place.

Fabulous Hotel. The lobby too is huge & grand. The Rooms too are big & very nice & very comfortable. Also the bathrooms too are very nice. Have a separate Tub & a Shower. Excellent View of the Lake from the room. Breakfast too was nice.

I stayed in this hotel 1 night and initially pretty nervous because typically when I visit China, I stay in Western hotels. I had nothing to worry about as this hotel can compete with the Western ones. It may seem strange but my favorite part was the shower experience. The shower heads have great water pressure and the bath products smell fantastic. The towels and nice and luxurious. I know this sounds weird but when you are thousands of miles from home, it’s the little things that make all the difference.

I stayed in this hotel while travelling for work and only stayed one night. The hotel is very luxurious and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I am not sure if there is much to do in the area, but there were lovely views of a lake and would be a nice place to go walking. Great place to stay.

I Stayed here in July 2017 , during a business trip , The hotel is very nice and clean the rooms are spacious , and I had a great view of the lake from my room, breakfast has a wide choice from Asian to Western food. The Hotel has bikes you can use to ride around the lake Free of charge if you are An IHG gold rewards member which was a nice touch to get out for a couple of hours. TIP : I would recommend to take the upgrade to superior if you are an IHG member as you get to use the members lounge where all food and drinks are inclusive from 5PM TILL 7:30pm

I originally wrote a review for this hotel a few months after it opened. It was still rough around the edges and I've decided to write an updated review now that I've been staying there for over a year and a half. I spend about 15 -20 nights per year at the Hualuxe so I have a very good impression of the place now. The staff is very attentive and they solve your problems. They've listened to my concerns and developed solutions. Lately, they even anticipate my needs and go out of their way to make my stay even better. I know several of the staff members personally and they are extremely friendly people. The breakfast buffet is one of the best on my month-long China itineraries. The second-floor Chinese restaurant is pretty good, but strangely empty most nights. The Hualuxe is one of my favorite hotels to visit in southern China and is a pleasure to stay in. The alternative to the Hualuxe is the Phoenix Hotel on the other side of town, which now looks old and dingy when compared to the shiny new Hualuxe. Most western visitors to Yangjiang have now moved over to the Hualuxe. It's an easy choice. Ask for a corner room. There are windows on two walls instead of one. The suites are nice, but overpriced for the city.

Outstanding attentativeness for meal service from restaurant staff- a bit of problem with hot water for showers on some mornings

Frist time I stay at this hotel but will come back if I have to be in the area again. Modern hotel with clean, spacious rooms. Did not have dinner at the hote but breakfast buffet was good, enough choice both for Western as Asian guests. Very friendly and helpful hotel staff.

I booked a 2x double bed room, but turn up 2x single bed room. Front desk said it was an upgrade but it is unbelievable, angry

It was a short one-night stay for business but thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. The environment was excellent as the hotel sat by the lake, away from the busy streets and neighborhood. However, a short 15-minute leisure walk will take you to an area with a variety of restaurant selections.

Finally a descent place to stay at in Yangjiang... I always drove back to Foshan late nights to skip staying in Yangjiang.. Not any more, now that HuaLuxe is open, i am usually don't ver staying another night... The hotel restaurant is acceptable, to Yangjiang standard is not bad.. The location is good. The rooms are big, clean and the service is perfect.

This is my second stay at the Hualuxe. I come to this area a few times a year and this is pretty much the only game in town for decent business travel. Not quite as good as the Hyatt Hailing Island, but that property is a bit out of the way compared to the Hualuxe. Anyways, I am here just after CNY and the place is well decorated for the festivities. It's a bit on the quiet side, since everyone is just returning from the holiday, but that is ok. My only immediate issue is that right now it is very cold here in Yangjiang and the lobby isn't heated, or if it is, they aren't turning it on. This is a bit of an issue when eating at the restaurants or if you are having business meetings. Aside from that, you should make the Hualuxe your go to if you come to this area for business.

Brilliant property, maintenance, breakfast, and service. I've been disappointed by a few hotels with a great property but poor service or a once-great property that is poorly maintained. This hotel has none of those shortcomings. Would love to stay here again next time I am in Yangjiang.

I was there for four nights including a weekend. I was from Guangzhou and it was about 3.5 hours drive to Yangjiang. The hotel in general is excellent. From the lobby to the rooms to the facilities. Room was spacious, clean and well kept. In the center of every floor, there is a space to stay in case you get bored inside your room. With benches and everything. Good also for visitors. Food was great. They have a wide variety of food choices for breakfast and dinner. One thing I noticed is that the hotel was a bit isolated. It was in one part of the lake but the stores and restaurants were a bit far away. I was jogging during the weekend and if I remembered correctly, it took me about 5 more minutes of jogging until I saw an area with restaurants. I saw some guys building a path going to the other side of the lake. Surely it will cut off some walking time to the restaurants in the future. They also rent out bicycles in case you want to see the other parks located around the lake. This is a definitely recommended hotel. thumbs up.

Stayed for 4 nights on a business trip; a superb hotel. Clean and modern, our rooms were spacious, stylish and well appointed. The restaurant has a good choice of western and chinese foods for the buffet breakfast and the dinner menu. Excellent service throughout our time at the hotel, staff are attendant eager to help. The absolute stand out choice in YangJiang area.

We found this hotel after already checking in to our regular one that we use on business. We were so impressed after a short visit to check it out that we moved all our staff and customers here the next day. The hotel has everything that need from a business centre, bars, restaurants and spa. It is well designed, quite luxurious and well appointed. All the staff speak English and it is clearly aimed at all the western business people who go to YJ. The rooms are large and well designed; the spa treatments are a bit expensive but was well carried out. It is a bit out of the way but you are also close to lost of other bars and restaurants if you ever get bored of the hotel. There are also private dining rooms upstairs so you can have private business meals as well. I cannot express how happy we were to find this hotel and we will be booking it again for next year too

There are not a lot of great hotels in the area. This is by far the best.

this is a newest hotel chain in China; to my surprise, I have experienced world class hospitality here. Smiling faces and sincere greetings are found at every corners here. I truly feel at home here with their personalised and exclusive services. Yet, the room prices are cheap compared to what you get here .....

3rd times have stayed at this relatively NEW Hotel opened less than 1 year ago as an "International Hotel". Every time I stay something goes wrong or doesn't work, either NO Hot Water or Broken Fire Alarm going off. This time was the worst, NO Air Conditioning and it was over 100deg outside. Room never got cooler than 86deg and it was impossible to sleep.
